A Riemann-Poisson Lie group is a Lie group endowed with a left invariant Riemannian metric and a left invariant Poisson tensor which are compatible in the sense introduced in C.R. Acad. Sci. Paris sér. {\bf I 333} (2001) 763-768. We study these Lie groups and we give a characterization of their Lie algebras. We give also a way of building these Lie algebras and we give the list of such Lie algebras up to dimension 5.

Kähler-Riemann foliations form an interesting subset of the Riemannian foliations with remarkable properties (see [3]). The notion of Poisson manifold with compatible pseudo-metric was introduced by the author in [1]. In this paper, we introduce a new class of Lie algebras which we call a pseudo-Rieamannian Lie algebras. A compact semisimple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ induces a Poisson structure $π$ on the unit sphere $S$ in $\mathfrak{g}^*$. We compute the moduli space of Poisson structures on $S$ around $π$. This is the first explicit computation of a Poisson moduli space in dimension greater or equal than three around a degenerate (i.e. not symplectic) Poisson structure.

We propose a definition of Poisson quasi-Nijenhuis Lie algebroids as a natural generalization of Poisson quasi-Nijenhuis manifolds and show that any such Lie algebroid has an associated quasi-Lie bialgebroid. Therefore, also an associated Courant algebroid is obtained. We introduce the notion of a morphism of quasi-Lie bialgebroids and of the induced Courant algebroids morphism and provide some examples of Courant algebroid morphisms. In this paper, we develop the theory of Hom-Lie algebroids, Hom-Lie bialgebroids and Hom-Courant algebroids introduced by Cai, Liu and Sheng. Specifically, we introduce the notions of Hom-Poisson, Hom-Nijenhuis and Hom-Poisson-Nijenhuis structures on a Hom-Lie algebroid and the notion of Hom-Dirac structures on a Hom-Courant algebroid. We propose a Poisson-Lie analog of the symplectic induction procedure, using an appropriate Poisson generalization of the reduction of symplectic manifolds with symmetry. Having as basic tools the equivariant momentum maps of Poisson actions, the double group of a Poisson-Lie group and the reduction of Poisson manifolds with symmetry, we show how one can induce a Poisson action admitting an equivariant momentum map. We prove that, under certain conditions, the dressing orbits of a Poisson-Lie group can be obtained by Poisson induction from the dressing orbits of a Poisson-Lie subgroup.

We introduce and study some mixed product Poisson structures on product manifolds associated to Poisson Lie groups and Lie bialgebras. We show how to reduce, under certain regularities conditions, a Poisson-Nijenhuis Lie algebroid to a symplectic-Nijenhuis Lie algebroid with nondegenerate Nijenhuis tensor. We generalize the work done by Magri and Morosi for the reduction of Poisson-Nijenhuis manifolds. The choice of the more general framework of Lie algebroids is motivated by the geometrical study of some reduced bi-Hamiltonian systems. We provide an alternative method for obtaining of compatible Poisson structures on Lie groups by means of the adjoint representations of Lie algebras. In this way, we calculate some compatible Poisson structures on four dimensional and nilpotent six dimensional symplectic real Lie groups. Then using Magri-Morosi's theorem we obtain new bi-Hamiltonian systems with four dimensional and nilpotent six dimensional symplectic real Lie groups as phase spaces.

A Lie group $G$ endowed with a left invariant Riemannian metric $g$ is called Riemannian Lie group. Harmonic and biharmonic maps between Riemannian manifolds is an important area of investigation. In this paper, we study different aspects of harmonic and biharmonic homomorphisms between Riemannian Lie groups. We show that this class of biharmonic maps can be used at the first level to build examples but, as we will see through this paper, its study will lead to some interesting mathematical problems in the theory of Riemannian Lie groups.
Let $G$ be a complex reductive connected algebraic group equipped with the Sklyanin bracket. A classification of Poisson homogeneous $G$-spaces with connected isotropy subgroups is given. We investigate some basic questions concerning the relationship between the restricted Grassmannian and the theory of Banach Lie-Poisson spaces. By using universal central extensions of Lie algebras, we find that the restricted Grassmannian is symplectomorphic to symplectic leaves in certain Banach Lie-Poisson spaces, and the underlying Banach space can be chosen to be even a Hilbert space. Smoothness of numerous adjoint and coadjoint orbits of the restricted unitary group is also established. Several pathological properties of the restricted algebra are pointed out.

We construct families of functions in involution for transverse Poisson structures at nilpotent elements of Lie-Poisson structures on simple Lie algebras by using the argument shift method.
