The Nikiforov-Uvarov method is employed to calculate the the Schrodinger equation with a rotation Morse potential. The bound state energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunction are obtained. All of these calculation present an effective and clear method under a Pekeris approximation to solve a rotation Morse model. Meanwhile the results got here are in a good agreement with ones before.
The solutions of trigonometric Scarf potential, PT/non-PT-symmetric and non-Hermitian q-deformed hyperbolic Scarf and Manning-Rosen potentials are obtained by solving the Schrodinger equation. The Nikiforov-Uvarov method is used to obtain the real energy spectra and corresponding eigenfunctions.
An alternative treatment is proposed for the calculations carried out within the frame of Nikiforov-Uvarov method, which removes a drawback in the original theory and by pass some difficulties in solving the Schrodinger equation. The Schrodinger equation with general non central potential is separated into radial and angular parts and energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions for these potentials are derived analytically. Non central potential is reduced to Coulomb and Hartmann potential by making special selections, and the obtained solutions are compared with the solutions of Coulomb and Hartmann ring shaped potentials given in literature.
The exact solutions of the one-dimensional Klein-Gordon equation for the Rosen-Morse type potential with equal scalar and vector potentials are presented. First we briefly review Nikiforov-Uvarov mathematical method. Using this method, wave-functions and corresponding exact energy equation are obtained for the s-wave bound state. It has been shown that the results for Rosen-Morse type potentials reduce to standard Rosen-Morse well and Eckart potentials in the special case. We discuss the generalized Coulomb and harmonic oscillator systems. We study the Hartmann Coulomb and the ring-shaped and compound Coulomb plus Aharanov-Bohm potentials as special cases. The results are in exact agreement with other methods.
