A new invariant of Poisson manifolds, a Poisson K-ring, is introduced. Hypothetically, this invariant is more tractable than such invariants as Poisson (co)homology. A version of this invariant is also defined for arbitrary algebroids. Basic properties of the Poisson K-ring are proved and the Poisson K-rings are calculated for a number of examples. In particular, for the zero Poisson structure the K-ring is the ordinary K-theory of the manifold and for the dual space to a Lie algebra the K-ring is the ring of virtual representations of the Lie algebra. It is also shown that the K-ring is an invariant of Morita equivalence. Moreover, the K-ring is a functor on a category, the weak Morita category, which generalizes the notion of Morita equivalence of Poisson manifolds.
The purpose of this paper is to give a proof of the real part of the Riemann-Roch-Grothendieck theorem for complex flat vector bundles at the differential form level in the even dimensional fiber case. The proof is, roughly speaking, an application of the local family index theorem for a perturbed twisted spin Dirac operator, a variational formula of the Bismut-Cheeger eta form without the kernel bundle assumption in the even dimensional fiber case, and some properties of the Cheeger-Chern-Simons class of complex flat vector bundle.
In this paper, we study the existence of Poisson metrics on flat vector bundles over noncompact Riemannian manifolds and discuss related consequence, specially on the applications in Higgs bundles, towards generalizing Corlette-Donaldson-Hitchin-Simpson's nonabelian Hodge correspondence to noncompact Kähler manifolds setting.
In this paper, M denotes a smooth manifold of dimension n, A a Weil algebra and M^{A} the associated Weil bundle. When (M,_{M}) is a Poisson manifold with 2-form _{M}, we construct the 2-Poisson form _{M^{A}}^{A}, prolongation on M^{A} of the 2-Poisson form _{M}. We give a necessary and sufficent condition for that M^{A} be an A-Poisson manifold.
Let M be a Poisson manifold and A a Weil algebra. We describe an isomorphism of cohomolgy algebra and proves that Poisson cohomology with values in A is isomorphic to the tensor product of A with Poisson cohomolgy with real values.
We semiclassicalise the theory of quantum group principal bundles to the level of Poisson geometry. The total space $X$ is a Poisson manifold with Poisson-compatible contravariant connection, the fibre is a Poisson-Lie group in the sense of Drinfeld with bicovariant Poisson-compatible contravariant connection, and the base has an inherited Poisson structure and Poisson-compatible contravariant connection. The latter are known to be the semiclassical data for a quantum differential calculus. The theory is illustrated by the Poisson level of the $q$-Hopf fibration on the standard $q$-sphere. We …
Forty-six years after the birth of supersymmetry in 1973 from works of Julius Wess and Bruno Zumino, the standard quantum-field-theorists and particle physicists' language of `superspaces', `supersymmetry', and `supersymmetric action functionals in superspace formulation' as given in Chapters IV, V, VI, VII, XXII of the classic on supersymmetry and supergravity: Julius Wess & Jonathan Bagger: Supersymmetry and Supergravity (2nd ed.), is finally polished, with only minimal mathematical patches added for consistency and accuracy in dealing with nilpotent objects from the Grassmann algebra involv…
We briefly review our results on the Lie theory underlying vector bundles over Lie groupoids and Lie algebroids, pointing out the role of Poisson geometry in extending these results to double Lie algebroids and LA-groupoids.
Given a bundle of chain complexes, the algebra of functions on its shifted cotangent bundle has a natural structure of a shifted Poisson algebra. We show that if two such bundles are homotopy equivalent, the corresponding Poisson algebras are homotopy equivalent. We apply this result to $L_\infty$-algebroids to show that two homotopy equivalent bundles have the same $L_\infty$-algebroid structures and explore some consequence on the theory of shifted Poisson structures.
We consider a proper flat fibration with real base and complex fibers. First we construct odd characteristic classes for such fibrations by a method that generalizes constructions of Bismut-Lott. Then we consider the direct image of a fiberwise holomorphic vector bundle, which is a flat vector bundle on the base. We give a Riemann-Roch-Grothendieck theorem calculating the odd real characteristic classes of this flat vector bundle.

The moduli space of Higgs bundles can be constructed as a quotient of an infinite-dimensional space and hence admits an orbit type decomposition. In this paper, we show that the orbit type decomposition is a complex Whitney stratification such that each stratum is a complex symplectic submanifold and hence admits a complex Poisson bracket. Moreover, these Poisson brackets glue to a Poisson bracket on the structure sheaf of the moduli space so that the moduli space is a stratified complex symplectic space
In this paper, we present a relation between Jacobi-Reeb dynamics and the dynamics associated with a mechanical Hamiltonian system with respect to a linear Poisson structure on a vector bundle. For this purpose, we will use the so-called Jacobi bundle metrics induced by the mechanical Hamiltonian system. These constructions extend classical results on the relation between standard mechanical Hamiltonian systems on cotangent bundles and Reeb dynamics.
We prove that for a vector bundle $ E \to M$, the Lie algebra $\mathcal{D}_{\mathcal{E}}(E)$ generated by all differential operators on $E$ which are eigenvectors of $L_{\mathcal{E}},$ the Lie derivative in the direction of the Euler vector field of $E,$ and the Lie algebra $\mathcal{D}_G(E)$ obtained by Grothendieck construction over the $\mathbb{R}-$algebra $\mathcal{A}(E):= {\rm Pol}(E)$ of fiberwise polynomial functions, coincide up an isomorphism. This allows us to compute all the derivations of the $\mathbb{R}-$algebra $\mathcal{A}(E)$ and to obtain an explicit description of the Lie alg…
We study a new kind of Courant algebroid on Poisson manifolds, which is a variant of the generalized tangent bundle in the sense that the roles of tangent and the cotangent bundle are exchanged. Its symmetry is a semidirect product of $β$-diffeomorphisms and $β$-transformations. It is a starting point of an alternative version of the generalized geometry based on the cotangent bundle, such as Dirac structures and generalized Riemannian structures. In particular, $R$-fluxes are formulated as a twisting of this Courant algebroid by a local $β$-transformations, in the same way as $H$-fluxes are t…
We present an approach to Jacobi and contact geometry that makes many facts, presented in the literature in an overcomplicated way, much more natural and clear. The key concepts are Kirillov manifolds and linear Kirillov structures, i.e., homogeneous Poisson manifolds and, respectively, homogeneous linear Poisson manifolds. The difference with the existing literature is that the homogeneity of the Poisson structure is related to a principal ${\rm GL}(1,{\mathbb R})$-bundle structure on the manifold and not just to a vector field. This allows for working with Jacobi bundle structures on nontriv…
We review some basic facts on vector fields, in the complex-analytic setting, thus, obtaining a rationality result and an extension of the Birkhoff-Grothendieck theorem, as follows: (1) Let $Z$ be a compact complex manifold endowed with a very ample line bundle $L$. Denote by $\mathfrak{g}_L$ the extended Lie algebra of infinitesimal automorphisms of $L$. If the representation of $\mathfrak{g}_L$ on the space of holomorphic sections of $L$ is irreducible then $Z$ is rational; (2) Let $P$ be a holomorphic principal bundle over the Riemann sphere, with structural group $G$ whose Lie algebra is n…
We construct the family of algebroid brackets $[\cdot,\cdot]_{c,v}$ on the tangent bundle $T^*M$ to a Poisson manifold $(M,π)$ starting from an algebroid bracket of differential forms. We use these brackets to generate Poisson structures on the tangent bundle $TM$. Next, in the case when $M$ is equipped with a bi-Hamiltonian structure $(M,π_1, π_2)$ we show how to construct another family of Poisson structures. Moreover we present how to find Casimir functions for those structures and we discuss some particular examples.
In the previous paper \cite{Goto_2017}, the notion of an Einstein-Hermitian metric of a generalized holomorphic vector bundle over a generalized Kahler manifold of symplectic type was introduced from the moment map framework. In this paper we establish a Kobayashi-Hitchin correspondence, that is, the equivalence of the existence of an Einstein-Hermitian metric and $ψ$-polystability of a generalized holomorphic vector bundle over a compact generalized Kahler manifold of symplectic type. Poisson modules provide intriguing generalized holomorphic vector bundles and we obtain $ψ$-stable Poisson mo…
Let M be a paracompact smooth manifold, A a Weil algebra and M^{A} the associated Weil bundle. In this paper, we give a characterization of hamiltonian field on M^{A} in the case of Poisson manifold and of Symplectic manifold.
It is shown that the cotangent bundle of a matched pair Lie group is itself a matched pair Lie group. The trivialization of the cotangent bundle of a matched pair Lie group are presented. On the trivialized space, the canonical symplectic two-form and canonical Poisson bracket are explicitly written. Various symplectic and Poisson reductions are perfomed. The Lie-Poisson bracket is derived. As an example, Lie-Poisson equations on $\mathfrak{sl}(2,\mathbb{C})^\ast$ are obtained.
