In the present paper, we study complete and vertical lifts of tensor fields from a smooth manifold $M$ to its Weil bundle $T^A M$ defined by a Frobenius Weil algebra $A$. For a Poisson manifold $(M,w)$, we show that the complete lift $w^C$ and the vertical lift $w^V$ of the Poisson tensor $w$ are Poisson tensors on $T^A M$ and establish their properties. We prove that the complete and the vertical lifts induce homomorphisms of the Poisson cohomology spaces. We compute the modular classes of the lifts of Poisson structures.
Let M be a Poisson manifold and A a Weil algebra. We describe an isomorphism of cohomolgy algebra and proves that Poisson cohomology with values in A is isomorphic to the tensor product of A with Poisson cohomolgy with real values.
Poisson structures of divisor-type are those whose degeneracy can be captured by a divisor ideal, which is a locally principal ideal sheaf with nowhere-dense quotient support. This is a large class of Poisson structures which includes all generically-nondegenerate Poisson structures, such as log-, $b^k$-, elliptic, elliptic-log, and scattering Poisson structures. Divisor ideals are used to define almost-injective Lie algebroids of derivations preserving them, to which these Poisson structures can be lifted, often nondegenerately so. The resulting symplectic Lie algebroids can be studied using …
In this paper we propose a noncommutative generalization of the relationship between compact Kähler manifolds and complex projective algebraic varieties. Beginning with a prequantized Kähler structure, we use a holomorphic Poisson tensor to deform the underlying complex structure into a generalized complex structure, such that the prequantum line bundle and its tensor powers deform to a sequence of generalized complex branes. Taking homomorphisms between the resulting branes, we obtain a noncommutative deformation of the homogeneous coordinate ring. As a proof of concept, this is implemented f…
Motivated by the group of Galilean transformations and the subgroup of Galilean transformations which fix time zero, we introduce the notion of a $b$-Lie group as a pair $(G,H)$ where $G$ is a Lie group and $H$ is a codimension-one Lie subgroup. Such a notion allows us to give a theoretical framework for transformations of space-time where the initial time can be seen as a boundary. In this theoretical framework, we develop the basics of the theory and study the associated canonical $b$-symplectic structure on the $b$-cotangent bundle $^b {T}^\ast G$ together with its reduction theory. Namely,…
