On quantum and classical Poisson algebras

Results on derivations and automorphisms of some quantum and classical Poisson algebras, as well as characterizations of manifolds by the Lie structure of such algebras, are revisited and extended. We prove in particular somehow unexpected fact that the algebras of linear differential operators acting on smooth sections of two real vector bundles of rank 1 are isomorphic as Lie algebras if and only if the base manifolds are diffeomorphic, independently whether the line bundles themselves are isomorphic or not.

Non-associative algebras associated to Poisson algebras

Poisson algebra is usually defined to be a commutative algebra together with a Lie bracket, and these operations are required to satisfy the Leibniz rule. We describe Poisson structures in terms of a single bilinear operation. This enables us to explore Poisson algebras in the realm of non-associative algebras. Infinitesimal Poisson Algebras and Linearization of Hamiltonian Systems

Using the notion of a contravariant derivative, we give some algebraic and geometric characterizations of Poisson algebras associated to the infinitesimal data of Poisson submanifolds. We show that such a class of Poisson algebras provides a suitable framework for the study of the Hamiltonization problem for the linearized dynamics along Poisson submanifolds.

Towards Homotopy Poisson-n Algebras from N-plectic Structures

We associate a homotopy Poisson-n algebra to any higher symplectic structure, which generalizes the common symplectic Poisson algebra of smooth functions. Poisson manifolds with compatible pseudo-metric and pseudo-Riemannian Lie algebras

The notion of Poisson manifold with compatible pseudo-metric was introduced by the author in [1]. In this paper, we introduce a new class of Lie algebras which we call a pseudo-Rieamannian Lie algebras. Deformations of the Lie-Poisson sphere of a compact semisimple Lie algebra

A compact semisimple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ induces a Poisson structure $π$ on the unit sphere $S$ in $\mathfrak{g}^*$. We compute the moduli space of Poisson structures on $S$ around $π$. This is the first explicit computation of a Poisson moduli space in dimension greater or equal than three around a degenerate (i.e. not symplectic) Poisson structure.

Gerstenhaber algebras and BV-algebras in Poisson geometry

The purpose of this paper is to establish an explicit correspondence between various geometric structures on a vector bundle with some well-known algebraic structures such as Gerstenhaber algebras and BV-algebras. Some applications are discussed. In particular, we found an explicit connection between the Koszul-Brylinski operator of a Poisson manifold and its modular class. As a consequence, we prove that Poisson homology is isomorphic to Poisson cohomology for unimodular Poisson structures.

Batalin-Vilkovisky algebra structure on Poisson manifolds with diagonalizable modular symmetry

We study the ``twisted" Poincaré duality of smooth Poisson manifolds, and show that, if the modular vector field is diagonalizable, then there is a mixed complex associated to the Poisson complex, which, combining with the twisted Poincaré duality, gives a Batalin-Vilkovisky algebra structure on the Poisson cohomology.
