Following the ideas of our previous works math.QA/0008232 (joint with Andruskiewitsch) and math.QA/0101049, we study families of triangular Hopf algebras obtained by twisting finite supergroups by a twist lying entirely in the odd part. These families are parametrized by data (G,V,u,B), where G is a finite group, V its finite dimensional representation, u a central element of G of order 2 acting by -1 on V, and B an element of S^2V. We fix the discrete data G,V,u, and find the set of isomorphism classes of the members of the family as Hopf algebras, in terms of the continuous parameter B. This set is often infinite, which provides examples of nontrivial continuous families of triangular Hopf algebras. The lowest dimension in which such a family occurs is 32, in which case we get 3 families which are dual to the 3 families of pointed Hopf algebras of dimension 32 constructed recently by Grana. Furthermore, we show that if (S^2V)^G=0 then such continuous families are nontrivial not only up to a Hopf algebra isomorphism, but also up to twisting of the multiplication. Thus, they provide counterexamples to Masuoka's weakened Kaplansky's 10th conjecture, which claims that up to twisting, there are finitely many types of Hopf algebras in each dimension. Finally, we study the algebra structure of the duals of our families, and show they are direct sums of Clifford algebras. Since there are finitely many types of Clifford algebras in each dimension, this allows us to construct nontrivial families of rigid tensor structures on the abelian category of modules over a finite dimensional algebra, with a fixed Grothendieck ring.
We investigate the transformed Hopf algebras in Hopf Galois extensions. The final goal of this paper is to introduce certain triangular Hopf algebras associated with restricted Frobenius Lie algebras over a field of characteristic $p>0$.
A fundamental problem in the theory of Hopf algebras is the classification and construction of finite-dimensional (minimal) triangular Hopf algebras (A,R) introduced by Drinfeld. Only recently Etingof and the author completely solved this problem for semisimple A over algebraically closed fields of characteristics 0 and p>>dim(A) (any p if one assumes that A is also cosemisimple). In this paper we take the first step towards solving this problem for finite-dimensional pointed Hopf algebras over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic 0. We first prove that the fourth power of the ant…
We say that a Hopf algebra has the Chevalley property if the tensor product of any two simple modules over this Hopf algebra is semisimple. In this paper we classify finite dimensional triangular Hopf algebras with the Chevalley property, over the field of complex numbers. Namely, we show that all of them are twists of triangular Hopf algebras with R-matrix having rank <=2, and explain that the latter ones are obtained from group algebras of finite supergroups by a simple modification procedure. We note that all examples of finite dimensional triangular Hopf algebras which are known to the aut…
The goal of this paper is to give a new method of constructing finite-dimensional semisimple triangular Hopf algebras, including minimal ones which are non-trivial (i.e. not group algebras). The paper shows that such Hopf algebras are quite abundant. It also discovers an unexpected connection of such Hopf algebras with bijective 1-cocycles on finite groups and set-theoretical solutions of the quantum Yang-Baxter equation defined by Drinfeld.
We explain that a new theorem of Deligne on symmetric tensor categories implies, in a straightforward manner, that any finite dimensional triangular Hopf algebra over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero has Chevalley property, and in particular the list of finite dimensional triangular Hopf algebras over such a field given in math.QA/0008232, math.QA/0101049 is complete. We also use Deligne's theorem to settle a number of questions about triangular Hopf algebras, raised in our previous publications, and generalize Deligne's result to nondegenerate semisimple categories in char…
Recall that a triangular Hopf algebra A is said to have the Chevalley property if the tensor product of any two simple A-modules is semisimple, or, equivalently, if the radical of A is a Hopf ideal. There are two reasons to study this class of triangular Hopf algebras: First, it contains all known examples of finite-dimensional triangular Hopf algebras; second, it can be, in a sense, "completely understood". Namely, it was shown in our previous work with Andruskiewitsch that any finite-dimensional triangular Hopf algebra with the Chevalley property is obtained by twisting of a finite-dimension…
We consider an interesting class of braidings defined by a combinatorial property in an earlier paper. We show that it consists exactly of those braidings that come from certain Yetter-Drinfeld module structures over pointed Hopf algebras with abelian coradical. As a tool we define a reduced version of the FRT construction. For braidings induced by U_q(g)-modules the reduced FRT construction is calculated explicitly.
A fundamental problem in the theory of Hopf algebras is the classification and explicit construction of finite-dimensional quasitriangular Hopf algebras over C. These Hopf algebras constitute a very important class of Hopf algebras, introduced by Drinfeld (e.g. the quantum double of a Hopf algebra). However, this intriguing problem turns out to be extremely hard and it is still widely open. One can hope that resolving the problem in the triangular case would contribute to the understanding of the general case. There is no complte classification of finite-dimensional triangular Hopf algebras ye…
In a previous paper we prove that any semisimple triangular Hopf algebra A over an algebraically closed field of characteristic 0 (say the field of complex numbers C) is obtained from a finite group after twisting the ordinary comultiplication of its group algebra in the sense of Drinfeld; that is A=C[G]^J for some finite group G and a twist J\in C[G]\ot C[G]. In this paper we explicitly describe the representation theory of co-triangular semisimple Hopf algebras A^*=(C[G]^J)^* in terms of representations of some associated groups. As a corollary we prove that Kaplansky's 6th conjecture from 1…
One of the most fundamental problems in the theory of finite- dimensional Hopf algebras is their classification over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic 0. This problem is extremely difficult, hence people restrict it to certain classes of Hopf algebras, e.g. to semisimple ones. Semisimple Hopf algebras deserve to be considered as "quantum" analogue of finite groups, but even so, the problem remains extremely hard (even in low dimensions) and very little is known. A great boost to the theory of Hopf algebras was given by Drinfeld who invented the fundamental class of (quasi)trian…
In this paper we classify triangular semisimple and cosemisimple Hopf algebras over any algebraically closed field k. Namely, we construct, for each positive integer N, relatively prime to the characteristic of k if it is positive, a bijection between the set of isomorphism classes of triangular semisimple and cosemisimple Hopf algebras of dimension N over k, and the set of isomorphism classes of quadruples (G,H,V,u), where G is a group of order N, H is a subgroup of G, V is an irreducible projective representation of H over k of dimension |H|^{1/2}, and u\in G is a central element of order \l…
In this survey, we first review some known results on the representation theory of algebras with triangular decomposition, including the classification of the simple modules. We then discuss a recipe to construct Hopf algebras with triangular decomposition. Finally, we extend to these Hopf algebras the main results of arXiv:1612.09220 regarding projective modules over Drinfeld doubles of bosonizations of Nichols algebras and groups.
A basis B of a finite dimensional Hopf algebra H is said to be positive if all the structure constants of H relative to B are non-negative. A quasi-triangular structure $R\in H\otimes H$ is said to be positive with respect to B if it has non-negative coefficients in the basis $B \otimes B$ of $H\otimes H$. In our earlier work, we have classified all finite dimensional Hopf algebras with positive bases. In this paper, we classify positive quasi-triangular structures on such Hopf algebras. A consequence of this classification is a new way of constructing set-theoretical solutions of the Yang-Bax…
One way to obtain Quantized Universal Enveloping Algebras (QUEAs) of non-semisimple Lie algebras is by contracting QUEAs of semisimple Lie algebras. We prove that every contracted QUEA in a certain class is a cochain twist of the corresponding undeformed universal envelope. Consequently, these contracted QUEAs possess a triangular quasi-Hopf algebra structure. As examples, we consider kappa-Poincare in 3 and 4 spacetime dimensions.
We find the general solution to the twisting equation in the tensor bialgebra $T({\bf R})$ of an associative unital ring ${\bf R}$ viewed as that of fundamental representation for a universal enveloping Lie algebra and its quantum deformations. We suggest a procedure of constructing twisting cocycles belonging to a given quasitriangular subbialgebra ${\cal H}\subset T({\bf R})$. This algorithm generalizes Reshetikhin's approach, which involves cocycles fulfilling the Yang-Baxter equation. Within this framework we study a class of quantized inhomogeneous Lie algebras related to associative ring…
We develop explicit formulae for the eigenvalues of various invariants for highest weight irreducible representations of the quantum supergroup $U_q[gl(m|n)]$. The techniques employed make use of modified characteristic identity methods and allow for the evaluation of generator matrix elements and reduced Wigner coefficients.
We introduce quasi-Hopf $*$-algebras i.e. quasi-Hopf algebras equipped with a conjugation (star) operation. The definition of quasi-Hopf $*$-algebras proposed ensures that the class of quasi-Hopf $*$-algebras is closed under twisting and additionally, that any Hopf $*$-algebra becomes a quasi-Hopf $*$-algebra via twisting. The basic properties of these algebras are developed. The relationship between the antipode and star structure is investigated. Quasi-triangular quasi-Hopf $*$-algebras are introduced and studied.
In this paper we construct and study two new families of finite dimensional pointed Hopf algebras which generalize Radford's families. We show that over any infinite field which contains a primitive nth root of unity, one of the families contains infinitely many non-isomorphic Hopf algebras of any dimension of the form Nn^2, where 2<n<N are integers so that n divides N. We thus answer in the negative Kaplansky's 10th conjecture from 1975 on the finite number of types of Hopf algebras of a given dimension.
In this paper, we present an approach to the definition of multiparameter quantum groups by studying Hopf algebras with triangular decomposition. Classifying all of these Hopf algebras which are of what we call weakly separable type over a group, we obtain a class of pointed Hopf algebras which can be viewed as natural generalizations of multiparameter deformations of universal enveloping algebras of Lie algebras. These Hopf algebras are instances of a new version of braided Drinfeld doubles, which we call asymmetric braided Drinfeld doubles. This is a generalization of an earlier result by Be…
We calculate the Gerstenhaber bracket on Hopf algebra and Hochschild cohomologies of the Taft algebra $T_p$ for any integer $p>2$ which is a nonquasi-triangular Hopf algebra. We show that the bracket is indeed zero on Hopf algebra cohomology of $T_p$, as in all known quasi-triangular Hopf algebras. This example is the first known bracket computation for a nonquasi-triangular algebra. Also, we find a general formula for the bracket on Hopf algebra cohomology of any Hopf algebra with bijective antipode on the bar resolution that is reminiscent of Gerstenhaber's original formula for Hochschild co…
We introduce and study new families of finite-dimensional Hopf algebras with the Chevalley property that are not pointed nor semisimple arising as twistings of quantum linear spaces. These Hopf algebras generalize the examples introduced in [AEG], [EG1], [EG2].
A deeper understanding of recent computations of the Brauer group of Hopf algebras is attained by explaining why a direct product decomposition for this group holds and describing the non-interpreted factor occurring in it. For a Hopf algebra $B$ in a braided monoidal category $\C$, and under certain assumptions on the braiding (fulfilled if $\C$ is symmetric), we construct a sequence for the Brauer group $\BM(\C;B)$ of $B$-module algebras, generalizing Beattie's one. It allows one to prove that $\BM(\C;B) \cong \Br(\C) \times \Gal(\C;B),$ where $\Br(\C)$ is the Brauer group of $\C$ and $\Gal(…
We show that all possible categories of Yetter-Drinfeld modules over a quasi-Hopf algebra $H$ are isomorphic. We prove also that the category $\yd^{\rm fd}$ of finite dimensional left Yetter-Drinfeld modules is rigid and then we compute explicitly the canonical isomorphisms in $\yd^{\rm fd}$. Finally, we show that certain duals of $H_0$, the braided Hopf algebra introduced in \cite{bn,bpv}, are isomorphic as braided Hopf algebras if $H$ is a finite dimensional triangular quasi-Hopf algebra.
By work of Farinati, Solberg, and Taillefer, it is known that the Hopf algebra cohomology of a quasi-triangular Hopf algebra, as a graded Lie algebra under the Gerstenhaber bracket, is abelian. Motivated by the question of whether this holds for nonquasi-triangular Hopf algebras, we show that Gerstenhaber brackets on Hopf algebra cohomology can be expressed via an arbitrary projective resolution using Volkov's homotopy liftings as generalized to some exact monoidal categories. This is a special case of our more general result that a bracket operation on cohomology is preserved under exact mono…
The article is devoted to the describtion of quasitriangular structures (universal R-matrices) on cocommutative Hopf algebras. It is known that such structures are concentrated on finite dimensional Hopf subalgebras. In particular, quasitriangular structure on group algebra is defined by the pairs of normal inclusions of an finite abelian group and by invariant bimultiplicative form on it. The structure is triangular in the case of coinciding inclusions and skewsymmetric form. The nonstandart $λ$-structure on the representation ring of finite group, corresponding to the triangular structure on…
We construct finite-dimensional Hopf algebras whose coradical is the group algebra of a central extension of an abelian group. They fall into families associated to a semisimple Lie algebra together with a Dynkin diagram automorphism. We show conversely that every finite-dimensional pointed Hopf algebra over a non-abelian group with non-simple infinitesimal braiding of rank at least 4 is of this form. We follow the steps of the Lifting Method by Andruskiewitsch--Schneider. Our starting point is the classification of finite-dimensional Nichols algebras over non-abelian groups by Heckenberger--V…
We give a complete classification of the 32-dimensional pointed Hopf algebras over an algebraically closed field k with characteristic different from 2. It turns out that there are infinite families of isomorphism classes of pointed Hopf algebras of dimension 32. In [Andruskiewitsch-Schneider, J. Alg 209], [Beattie-Dascalescu-Grunenfelder, Invent. Math. 136 (1)] and [Gelaki, J. Alg 209] are given families of counterexamples for the tenth Kaplansky conjecture. Up to now, 32 is the lowest dimension where Kaplansky conjecture fails.
We determine finite-dimensional Hopf algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero, whose Hopf coradical is isomorphic to a non-pointed basic Hopf algebra of dimension $24$ and the infinitesimal braidings are indecomposable objects. In particular, we obtain families of new finite-dimensional Hopf algebras without the dual Chevalley property.
Two general families of new quantum deformed current algebras are proposed and identified both as infinite Hopf family of algebras, a structure which enable one to define ``tensor products'' of these algebras. The standard quantum affine algebras turn out to be a very special case of both algebra families, in which case the infinite Hopf family structure degenerates into standard Hopf algebras. The relationship between the two algebra families as well as their various special examples are discussed, and the free boson representation is also considered.
We consider noncommutative line bundles associated with the Hopf fibrations of SUq(2) over all Podles spheres and with a locally trivial Hopf fibration of S^3_{pq}. These bundles are given as finitely generated projective modules associated via 1-dimensional representations of U(1) with Galois-type extensions encoding the principal fibrations of SUq(2) and S^3_{pq}. We show that the Chern numbers of these modules coincide with the winding numbers of representations defining them.
For a semisimple quasi-triangular Hopf algebra $\left( H,R\right) $ over a field $k$ of characteristic zero, and a strongly separable quantum commutative $H$-module algebra $A$ over which the Drinfeld element of $H$ acts trivially, we show that $A\#H$ is a weak Hopf algebra, and it can be embedded into a weak Hopf algebra $\operatorname{End}A^{\ast}\otimes H$. With these structure, $_{A\#H}\operatorname{Mod}$ is the monoidal category introduced by Cohen and Westreich, and $_{\operatorname{End}A^{\ast}\otimes H}\mathcal{M}$ is tensor equivalent to $_{H}\mathcal{M}$. If $A$ is in the M{ü}ger cen…
We determine and classify all finite-dimensional Hopf algebras over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero whose Hopf coradicals are isomorphic to dual Radford algebras of dimension $4p$ for a prime $p>5$. In particular, we obtain families of new examples of finite-dimensional Hopf algebras without the dual Chevalley property.
We study the Hopf algebra structure of Lusztig's quantum groups. First we show that the zero part is the tensor product of the group algebra of a finite abelian group with the enveloping algebra of an abelian Lie algebra. Second we build them from the plus, minus and zero parts by means of suitable actions and coactions within the formalism presented by Sommerhauser to describe triangular decompositions.
Let $\mathds{k}$ be an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. We determine all finite-dimensional Hopf algebras over $\mathds{k}$ whose Hopf coradical is isomorphic to the unique $12$-dimensional Hopf algebra $\mathcal{C}$ without the dual Chevalley property, such that the diagrams are strictly graded and the corresponding infinitesimal braidings are indecomposable objects in ${}_{\mathcal{C}}^{\mathcal{C}}\mathcal{YD}$. In particular, we obtain new Nichols algebras of dimension $18$ and $36$ and two families of new Hopf algebras of dimension $216$.
We prove the existence of a basis of Poincare-Birkhoff-Witt type for braided Hopf algebras R generated by a braided subspace V of P(R) if the braiding on V fulfils a triangularity condition. We apply our result to pointed Hopf algebras with abelian coradical and to Nichols algebras of low dimensional simple U_q(sl_2) modules.
It is well known that if two finite groups have the same symmetric tensor categories of representations over C, then they are isomorphic. We study the following question: when do two finite groups G1,G2 have the same tensor categories of representations over C (without regard for the commutativity constraint). We call two groups with such property isocategorical. We give an example of two groups which are isocategorical but not isomorphic: the affine symplectic group of a vector space over the field of two elements, and an appropriate "affine pseudosymplectic group" introduced by R.Griess (con…
We construct quantum commutators on module-algebras of quasi-triangular Hopf algebras. These are quantum-group covariant, and have generalized antisymmetry and Leibniz properties. If the Hopf algebra is triangular they additionally satisfy a generalized Jacobi identity, turning the module-algebra into a quantum-Lie algebra.
Let $\mathcal{C}$ be a finite braided multitensor category. Let $B$ be Majid's automorphism braided group of $\mathcal{C}$, then $B$ is a cocommutative Hopf algebra in $\mathcal{C}$. We show that the center of $\mathcal{C}$ is isomorphic to the category of left $B$-comodules in $\mathcal{C}$, and the decomposition of $B$ into a direct sum of indecomposable $\mathcal{C}$-subcoalgebras leads to a decomposition of $B$-$\operatorname*{Comod}_{\mathcal{C}}$ into a direct sum of indecomposable $\mathcal{C}$-module subcategories. As an application, we present an explicit characterization of the struc…
Recall that a finite group is called perfect if it does not have non-trivial 1-dimensional representations (over the field of complex numbers C). By analogy, let us say that a finite dimensional Hopf algebra H over C is perfect if any 1-dimensional H-module is trivial. Let us say that H is biperfect if both H and H^* are perfect. Note that, H is biperfect if and only if its quantum double D(H) is biperfect. It is not easy to construct a biperfect Hopf algebra of dimension >1. The goal of this note is to describe the simplest such example we know. The biperfect Hopf algebra H we construct is ba…
In this paper we study the properties of Drinfeld's twisting for finite-dimensional Hopf algebras. We determine how the integral of the dual to a unimodular Hopf algebra $H$ changes under twisting of $H$. We show that the classes of cosemisimple unimodular, cosemisimple involutive, cosemisimple quasitriangular finite-dimensional Hopf algebras are stable under twisting. We also prove the cosemisimplicity of a coalgebra obtained by twisting of a cosemisimple unimodular Hopf algebra by two different twists on two sides (such twists are closely related to biGalois extensions), and describe the rep…
We prove that, in case $A(c)$ = the FRT construction of a braided vector space $(V,c)$ admits a weakly Frobenius algebra $\mathfrak B$ (e.g. if the braiding is rigid and its Nichols algebra is finite dimensional), then the Hopf envelope of $A(c)$ is simply the localization of $A(c)$ by a single element called the quantum determinant associated to the weakly Frobenius algebra. This generalizes a result of the author together with Gastón A. García in \cite{FG}, where the same statement was proved, but with extra hypotheses that we now know were unnecessary. On the way, we describe a universal wa…
One of the classical notions of group theory is the notion of the exponent of a group. The exponent of a group is the least common multiple of orders of its elements. In this paper we generalize the notion of exponent to Hopf algebras. We give five equivalent definitions of the exponent. Two of them are: 1) the exponent of H equals the order of the Drinfeld element u of the quantum double D(H); 2) the exponent of H is the order of the squared brading acting in the tensor square of the regular representation of D(H). We show that the exponent is invariant under twisting. We prove that for semis…
We introduce a method to construct explicitly multiplicative 2-cocycles for bosonizations of Nichols algebras B(V) over Hopf algebras H. These cocycles arise as liftings of H-invariant linear functionals on V tensor V and give a close formula to deform braided commutator-type relations. Using this construction, we show that all known finite dimensional pointed Hopf algebras over the dihedral groups D_m with m=4t > 11, over the symmetric group S_3 and some families over S_4 are cocycle deformations of bosonizations of Nichols algebras.
In this article we construct three explicit natural subgroups of the Brauer-Picard group of the category of representations of a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra. In examples the Brauer Picard group decomposes into an ordered product of these subgroups, somewhat similar to a Bruhat decomposition. Our construction returns for any Hopf algebra three types of braided autoequivalences and correspondingly three families of invertible bimodule categories. This gives examples of so-called (2-)Morita equivalences and defects in topological field theories. We have a closer look at the case of quantum gr…
In our previous paper math/0502157 we classified a large class of finite-dimensional pointed Hopf algebras up to isomorphism. However the following problem was left open for Hopf algebras of of type $A,D$ or $E_6$, that is whose Cartan matrix is connected and allows a non-trivial automorphism of the corresponding Dynkin diagram. In this case we described the isomorphisms between two such Hopf algebras with the same Cartan matrix only implicitly. The problem is whether it is possible to compute the isomorphisms in terms of the defining families of parameters. In the present paper we solve this …
We give a universal construction of families of Hopf $P$-algebras for any Hopf operad $P$. As a special case, we recover the Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra of rooted trees.
The universal R-matrices and, dually, the coquasitriangular structures of the group Hopf algebra of a finite Abelian group (resp. of an arbitrary Abelian group) are determined. This is used to formulate graded multilinear algebra in terms of triangular or cotriangular Hopf algebras. For the convenience of the reader, in a separate section the definitions and basic properties of quasitriangular and coquasitriangular Hopf algebras are recalled.
In 1997 we proved that any triangular semisimple Hopf algebra over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic 0 is obtained from the group algebra k[G] of a finite group G, by twisting its comultiplication by a twist in the sense of Drinfeld. In this paper, we generalize this result to not necessarily finite-dimensional cotriangular Hopf algebras. Namely, our main result says that a cotriangular Hopf algebra A over k is obtained from a function algebra of a pro-algebraic group by twisting by a Hopf 2-cocycle, and possibly changing its R-form by a central grouplike element of A^* of orde…
For a given finite dimensional Hopf algebra $H$ we describe the set of all equivalence classes of cocycle deformations of $H$ as an affine variety, using methods of geometric invariant theory. We show how our results specialize to the Universal Coefficients Theorem in the case of a group algebra, and we also give examples from other families of Hopf algebras, including dual group algebras and Bosonizations of Nichols algebras. In particular, we use the methods developed here to classify the cocycle deformations of a dual pointed Hopf algebra associated to the symmetric group on three letters. …
We study infinitesimal gauge transformations of an equivariant noncommutative principal bundle as a braided Lie algebra of derivations. For this, we analyse general $K$-braided Hopf and Lie algebras, for $K$ a (quasi)triangular Hopf algebra of symmetries, and study their representations as braided derivations. We then study Drinfeld twist deformations of braided Hopf algebras and of Lie algebras of infinitesimal gauge transformations. We give examples coming from deformations of abelian and Jordanian type. In particular we explicitly describe the braided Lie algebra of gauge transformations of…
In this paper, our objects of interest are Hopf Galois extensions (e.g., Hopf algebras, Galois field extensions, strongly graded algebras, crossed products, principal bundles, etc.) and families of noncommutative rings (e.g., skew polynomial rings, PBW extensions and skew PBW extensions, etc.). We collect and systematize questions, problems, properties and recent advances in both theories by explicitly developing examples and doing calculations that are usually omitted in the literature. In particular, for Hopf Galois extensions we consider approaches from the point of view of quantum torsors …
Contracting the $h$-deformation of $\SL(2,\Real)$, we construct a new deformation of two dimensional Poincaré algebra, the algebra of functions on its group and its differential structure. It is also shown that the Hopf algebra is triangular, and its universal R matrix is also constructed explicitly. Then, we find a deformation map for the universal enveloping algebra, and at the end, give the deformed mass shells and Lorentz transformation.
A vector species is a functor from the category of finite sets with bijections to vector spaces; informally, one can view this as a sequence of $S_n$-modules. A Hopf monoid (in the category of vector species) consists of a vector species with unit, counit, product, and coproduct morphisms satisfying several compatibility conditions, analogous to a graded Hopf algebra. We say that a Hopf monoid is strongly linearized if it has a "basis" preserved by its product and coproduct in a certain sense. We prove several equivalent characterizations of this property, and show that any strongly linearized…
