We study the Hopf algebra structure of Lusztig's quantum groups. First we show that the zero part is the tensor product of the group algebra of a finite abelian group with the enveloping algebra of an abelian Lie algebra. Second we build them from the plus, minus and zero parts by means of suitable actions and coactions within the formalism presented by Sommerhauser to describe triangular decompositions.
In this letter we prove that the unrolled small quantum group, appearing in quantum topology, is a Hopf subalgebra of Lusztig's quantum group of divided powers. We do so by writing down non-obvious primitive elements with the correct adjoint action. As application we explain how this gives a realization of the unrolled quantum group as operators on a conformal feld theory and match some calculations on this side. In particular our results explain a prominent weight shift that appears in [FT10]. Our result extends to other Nichols algebras of diagonal type, including super Lie algebras.
We show that the definition of unrolled Hopf algebras can be naturally extended to the Nichols algebra $\mathcal{B}$ of a Yetter-Drinfeld module $V$ on which a Lie algebra $\mathfrak g$ acts by biderivations. Specializing to Nichols algebras of diagonal type, we find unrolled versions of the small, the De Concini-Procesi and the Lusztig divided power quantum group, respectively.
Let $ \mathfrak{g} $ be an untwisted affine Kac-Moody algebra over the field $ K \, $, and let $ U_q(\mathfrak{g}) $ be the associated quantum enveloping algebra; let $ \mathfrak{U}_q(g) $ be the Lusztig's integer form of $ U_q(\mathfrak{g}) \, $, generated by $ q $-divided powers of Chevalley generators over a suitable subring $ R $ of $ K(q) \, $. We prove a Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt like theorem for $ \mathfrak{U}_q(\mathfrak{g}) \, $, yielding a basis over $ R $ made of ordered products of $ q $-divided powers of suitable quantum root vectors.
In the structure theory of quantized enveloping algebras, the algebra isomorphisms determined by Lusztig led to the first general construction of PBW bases of these algebras. Also, they have important applications to the representation theory of these and related algebras. In the present paper the Drinfel'd double for a class of graded Hopf algebras is investigated. Various quantum algebras, including multiparameter quantizations of semisimple Lie algebras and of Lie superalgebras, are covered by the given definition. For these Drinfel'd doubles Lusztig maps are defined. It is shown that these…
This is a survey of general aspects of the theory of braided Hopf algebras with emphasis on a special class of braided graded Hopf algebras named tobas. The interest on tobas arises from problems of classification of pointed Hopf algebras. We discuss tobas from different points of view following ideas of Lusztig, Nichols and Schauenburg. We then concentrate on braided Hopf algebras in the Yetter-Drinfeld category over H, where H is the group algebra of a non abelian finite group. We present some finite dimensional examples arising in an unpublished work by Milinski and Schneider.
The Shapovalov determinant for a class of pointed Hopf algebras is calculated, including quantized enveloping algebras, Lusztig's small quantum groups, and quantized Lie superalgebras. Our main tools are root systems, Weyl groupoids, and Lusztig type isomorphisms. We elaborate powerful novel techniques for the algebras at roots of unity, and pass to the general case using a density argument. Key words: Hopf algebra, Nichols algebra, quantum group, representation
We introduce a multi-parameter twisted Hopf algebra associated with a root datum and show that its modified form is isomorphic to Lusztig's modified quantum algebra under certain restrictions on the parameters. By taking various specializations of the parameters, we obtain similar results for two/multi-parameter quantum algebras and Kang-Kashiwara-Oh's multi-parameter quantum superalgebras. As a consequence, the categories of weight modules of these algebras are identical.
In [4], some quasi-Hopf algebras of dimension $n^{3}$, which can be understood as the quasi-Hopf analogues of Taft algebras, are constructed. Moreover, the quasi-Hopf analogues of generalized Taft algebras are considered in [7], where the language of the dual of a quasi-Hopf algebra is used. The Drinfeld doubles of such quasi-Hopf algebras are computed in this paper. The authors in [5] shew that the Drinfeld double of a quasi-Hopf algebra of dimension $n^{3}$ constructed in [4] is always twist equivalent to Lusztig's small quantum group $u_q(sl_2)$ if $n$ is odd. Based on computations and anal…
In this paper, we generalize the categorifical construction of a quantum group and its canonical basis introduced by Lusztig (\cite{Lusztig,Lusztig2}) to the generic form of the whole Ringel-Hall algebra. We clarify the explicit relation between the Green formula in \cite{Green} and the restriction functor in \cite{Lusztig2}. By a geometric way to prove the Green formula, we show that the Hopf structure of a Ringel-Hall algebra can be categorified under Lusztig's framework.
For a Hopf algebra B, we endow the Heisenberg double H(B^*) with the structure of a module algebra over the Drinfeld double D(B). Based on this property, we propose that H(B^*) is to be the counterpart of the algebra of fields on the quantum-group side of the Kazhdan--Lusztig duality between logarithmic conformal field theories and quantum groups. As an example, we work out the case where B is the Taft Hopf algebra related to the U_qsl(2) quantum group that is Kazhdan--Lusztig-dual to (p,1) logarithmic conformal models. The corresponding pair (D(B),H(B^*)) is "truncated" to (U_qsl(2),H_qsl(2))…
Let $(\bf U, \bf U^\imath)$ be a quantum symmetric pair of Kac-Moody type. The $\imath$quantum groups $\bf U^\imath$ and the universal $\imath$quantum groups $\widetilde{\bf U}^\imath$ can be viewed as a generalization of quantum groups and Drinfeld doubles $\widetilde{\bf U}$. In this paper we formulate and establish Serre-Lusztig relations for $\imath$quantum groups in terms of $\imath$divided powers, which are an $\imath$-analog of Lusztig's higher order Serre relations for quantum groups. This has applications to braid group symmetries on $\imath$quantum groups.
We give a new, conceptual proof of the $\imath$Serre and Serre-Lusztig relations for $\imath$quantum groups. The key to our approach is a new formula for the comultiplication of the $\imath$-divided powers, which allows us to reformulate the relations in terms of the adjoint action. We then obtain a proof using properties of the adjoint representation. The flexibility of this approach allows us to establish a more general family of relations which seem difficult to establish otherwise.
We describe a nonstandard version of the quantum plane, the one in the basis of divided powers at an even root of unity $q=e^{iπ/p}$. It can be regarded as an extension of the "nearly commutative" algebra $C[X,Y]$ with $X Y =(-1)^p Y X$ by nilpotents. For this quantum plane, we construct a Wess--Zumino-type de Rham complex and find its decomposition into representations of the $2p^3$-dimensional quantum group $U_q sl(2)$ and its Lusztig extension; the quantum group action is also defined on the algebra of quantum differential operators on the quantum plane.
A categorification of the Beilinson-Lusztig-MacPherson form of the quantum sl(2) was constructed in the paper arXiv:0803.3652 by the second author. Here we enhance the graphical calculus introduced and developed in that paper to include two-morphisms between divided powers one-morphisms and their compositions. We obtain explicit diagrammatical formulas for the decomposition of products of divided powers one-morphisms as direct sums of indecomposable one-morphisms; the latter are in a bijection with the Lusztig canonical basis elements. These formulas have integral coefficients and imply that o…
We investigate the representation theory of a large class of pointed Hopf algebras, extending results of Lusztig and others. We classify all simple modules in a suitable category and determine the weight multiplicities; we establish a complete reducibility theorem in this category.
For a finite dimensional semisimple Lie algebra and a root of unity, Lusztig defined an infinite dimensional quantum group of divided powers. Under certain restrictions on the order of the root of unity, he constructed a Frobenius homomorphism with finite dimensional Hopf kernel and with image the universal enveloping algebra. In this article we define and describe the Frobenius homomorphism for arbitrary roots of unity by systematically using the theory of Nichols algebras. In several new exceptional cases the Frobenius-Lusztig kernel is associated to a different Lie algebra than the initial …
Let $U_ζ$ be the quantum group (Lusztig form) associated to the simple Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$, with parameter $ζ$ specialized to an $\ell$-th root of unity in a field of characteristic $p>0$. In this paper we study certain finite-dimensional normal Hopf subalgebras $U_ζ(G_r)$ of $U_ζ$, called Frobenius-Lusztig kernels, which generalize the Frobenius kernels $G_r$ of an algebraic group $G$. When $r=0$, the algebras studied here reduce to the small quantum group introduced by Lusztig. We classify the irreducible $U_ζ(G_r)$-modules and discuss their characters. We then study the cohomology ri…
We introduce the language of multiplier Hopf algebra in the context of positive representations of split real quantum groups, and discuss its applications with a continuous version of Lusztig-Kashiwara's canonical basis, which may provide a key to prove the closure of the positive representations under tensor products, and harmonic analysis of quantized algebra of functions in the sense of locally compact quantum groups.
Motivated by work of Kac and Lusztig, we define a root system and a Weyl groupoid for a large class of semisimple Yetter-Drinfeld modules over an arbitrary Hopf algebra. The obtained combinatorial structure fits perfectly into an existing framework of generalized root systems associated to a family of Cartan matrices, and provides novel insight into Nichols algebras. We demonstrate the power of our construction with new results on Nichols algebras over finite non-abelian simple groups and symmetric groups. Since the discovery of quantum groups (Drinfeld, Jimbo) and finite dimensional variations thereof (Lusztig, Manin), these objects were studied from different points of view and had many applications. The present paper is part of a series where we intend to show that important classes of Hopf algebras are quantum groups and therefore belong to Lie theory. One of our main results is the explicit construction of a general family of pointed Hopf algebras from Dynkin diagrams. All the Frobenius-Lusztig kernels and their parabolic subalgebras belong to this family, but in addition we get many new ex…
We summarize the definition of the Weyl groupoid using supercategory approach in order to investigate quantum superalgebras at roots of unity. We show how the structure of a Hopf superalgebra on a quantum superalgebra is determined by the quantum Weyl groupoid. The Weyl groupoid of $\mathfrak{sl}(m|n)$ is constructed to this end as some supercategory. We prove that in this case quantum superalgebras associated with Dynkin diagrams are isomorphic as superalgebras. It is shown how these quantum superalgebras considered as Hopf superalgebras are connected via twists and isomorphisms. We explicitl…
The existence of the $\imath$-canonical basis (also known as the $\imath$-divided powers) for the coideal subalgebra of the quantum $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ were established by Bao and Wang, with conjectural explicit formulae. In this paper we prove the conjectured formulae of these $\imath$-divided powers. This is achieved by first establishing closed formulae of the $\imath$-divided powers in basis for quantum $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ and then formulae for the $\imath$-canonical basis in terms of Lusztig's divided powers in each finite-dimensional simple module of quantum $\mathfrak{sl}_2$. These formulae…
By finite quantum groups we mean Lusztig's finite-dimensional pointed Hopf algebras called quantum Frobenius Kernels [9, 10], and their natural generalizations due to Andruskiewitsch and Schneider [2, 3]. For a Hopf algebra $H$ in a special class of the latter generalizations, which arises from a pair of quantum linear spaces, Krop and Radford [8] described the simple modules over $H$ and over the Drinfel'd double $D(H)$, showing that they fall into a simple pattern of parametrization. We extend the description to a wider class of Hopf algebras which includes the quantum Frobenius Kernels, ren…

We classify Hopf actions of Taft algebras T(n) on path algebras of quivers, in the setting where the quiver is loopless, finite, and Schurian. As a corollary, we see that every quiver admitting a faithful Z_n-action (by directed graph automorphisms) also admits inner faithful actions of a Taft algebra. Several examples for actions of the Sweedler algebra T(2) and for actions of T(3) are presented in detail. We then extend the results on Taft algebra actions on path algebras to actions of the Frobenius-Lusztig kernel u_q(sl_2), and to actions of the Drinfeld double of T(n).
We discuss some general results on finite-dimensional Hopf algebras over an algebraically closed field k of characteristic zero and then apply them to Hopf algebras H of dimension p^{3} over k. There are 10 cases according to the group-like elements of H and H^{*}. We show that in 8 of the 10 cases, it is possible to determine the structure of the Hopf algebra. We give also a partial classification of the quasitriangular Hopf algebras of dimension p^{3} over k, after studying extensions of a group algebra of order p by a Taft algebra of dimension p^{2}. In particular, we prove that every ribbo…
This is a contribution to the classification program of pointed Hopf algebras. We give a generalization of the quantum Serre relations and propose a generalization of the Frobenius-Lusztig kernels in order to compute Nichols algebras of diagonal group type. With this, we classify Nichols algebras B(V) with dimension < 32 or with dimension p^3, p a prime number, when V lies in a Yetter-Drinfeld category over a finite group. With the so called Lifting Procedure, this allows to classify pointed Hopf algebras of index < 32 or p^3. In recent articles by Etingof-Schedler-Soloviev and Lu-Yan-Zhu, the…
We prove that the quantum double of the quasi-Hopf algebra A_q(g) of dimension n^{dim g} attached in arXiv:math/0403096 to a simple complex Lie algebra g and a primitive root of unity q of order n^2 is equivalent to Lusztig's small quantum group u_q(g) (under some conditions on n). We also give a conceptual construction of A_q(g) using the notion of de-equivariantization of tensor categories.
We introduce a quasitriangular Hopf algebra or `quantum group' $U(B)$, the {\em double-bosonisation}, associated to every braided group $B$ in the category of $H$-modules over a quasitriangular Hopf algebra $H$, such that $B$ appears as the `positive root space', $H$ as the `Cartan subalgebra' and the dual braided group $B^*$ as the `negative root space' of $U(B)$. The choice $B=f$ recovers Lusztig's construction of $U_q(g)$, where $f$ is Lusztig's algebra associated to a Cartan datum; other choices give more novel quantum groups. As an application, our construction provides a canonical way of…
Let $q$ be an $n^{th}$ root of unity for $n > 2$ and let $T_n(q)$ be the Taft (Hopf) algebra of dimension $n^2$. In 2001, Susan Montgomery and Hans-Jürgen Schneider classified all non-trivial $T_n(q)$-module algebra structures on an $n$-dimensional associative algebra $A$. They further showed that each such module structure extends uniquely to make $A$ a module algebra over the Drinfel'd double of $T_n(q)$. We explore what it is about the Taft algebras that leads to this uniqueness, by examining actions of (the Drinfel'd double of) Hopf algebras $H$ "close" to the Taft algebras on finite-dimen…
Let NSymm be the Hopf algebra of noncommutative symmetric functions over the integers. In this paper a description is given of its Lie algebra of primitives over the integers, Prim(NSymm), in terms of recursion formulas. For each of the primitives of a basis of Prim(NSymm), indexed by Lyndon words, there is a recursively given divided power series over it. This gives another proof of the theorem that the algebra of quasi-symmetric functions is free over the integers.
Let $U$ be the quantum group with divided powers in $p-$th root of unity for prime $p$. For any two-sided cell $A$ in the corresponding affine Weyl group one associates tensor ideal in the category of tilting modules over $U$. In this note we show that for any cell $A$ there exists tilting module $T$ from the corresponding tensor ideal such that biggest power of $p$ which divides $dim T$ is $p^{a(A)}$ where $a(A)$ is Lusztig's $a-$function. In new version some typos are corrected and exposition is improved following suggestions of the referee.
The discussions in the present paper arise from exploring intrinsically the structure nature of the quantum $n$-space. A kind of braided category $\Cal {GB}$ of $\La$-graded $þ$-commutative associative algebras over a field $k$ is established. The quantum divided power algebra over $k$ related to the quantum $n$-space is introduced and described as a braided Hopf algebra in $\Cal {GB}$ (in terms of its 2-cocycle structure), over which the so called special $q$-derivatives are defined so that several new interesting quantum groups, especially, the quantized polynomial algebra in $n$ variables (…
For a quantized enveloping algebra of a complex semisimple Lie algebra with deformation parameter not a root of unity, we classify all homogeneous right coideal subalgebras. Any such right coideal subalgebra is determined uniquely by a triple consisting of two elements of the Weyl group and a subset of the set of simple roots satisfying some natural conditions. The essential ingredients of the proof are the Lusztig automorphisms and the classification of homogeneous right coideal subalgebras of the Borel Hopf subalgebras of quantized enveloping algebras obtained previously by H.-J. Schneider a…
In this note we prove an integral identity involving complex powers of generators of quantum group $U_{q}(\mathfrak{sl}(3))$ considered as certain positive operators in the setting of positive principal series representations. This identity represents a continuous analog of one of the Lusztig's relations between divided powers of generators of quantum groups, which play an important role in the study of irreducible modules \cite{Lu 1}. We also give definitions of arbitrary functions of $U_{q}(\mathfrak{sl}(3))$ generators and give another proofs for some of the known results concerning positiv…
In this note we propose a construction of the Hopf algebra of a complex analog of devided powers of the Weyl generators of a semisimple simply-laced quantum group. Here we consider the generators as positive, self-adjoint operators. In particular, we generalize the Lusztig relations on the usual divided powers of generators of a quantum group to the case of complex devided powers of generators. These relations, some of which were known present the complete set of defining relations. As a by-product result, the pure algebraic definition of the Faddeev modular double in the case of semisimple si…
For a simple Lie algebra L of type A, D, E we show that any Belavin-Drinfeld triple on the Dynkin diagram of L produces a collection of Drinfeld twists for Lusztig's small quantum group u_q(L). These twists give rise to new finite-dimensional factorizable Hopf algebras, i.e. new small quantum groups. For any Hopf algebra constructed in this manner, we identify the group of grouplike elements, identify the Drinfeld element, and describe the irreducible representations of the dual in terms of the representation theory of the parabolic subalgebra(s) in L associated to the given Belavin-Drinfeld t…
The universal $R$ operator for the positive representations of split real quantum groups is computed, generalizing the formula of compact quantum groups $U_q(g)$ by Kirillov-Reshetikhin and Levendorski\uı-Soibelman, and the formula in the case of $U_{q\tilde{q}}(sl(2,R))$ by Faddeev, Kashaev and Bytsko-Teschner. Several new functional relations of the quantum dilogarithm are obtained, generalizing the quantum exponential relations and the pentagon relations. The quantum Weyl element and Lusztig's isomorphism in the positive setting are also studied in detail. Finally we introduce a $C^*$-algeb…
In conformal field theory the understanding of correlation functions can be divided into two distinct conceptual levels: The analytic properties of the correlators endow the representation categories of the underlying chiral symmetry algebras with additional structure, which in suitable cases is the one of a finite tensor category. The problem of specifying the correlators can then be encoded in algebraic structure internal to those categories. After reviewing results for conformal field theories for which these representation categories are semisimple, we explain what is known about represent…
In this paper we relate a problem in representation theory - the study of Yetter-Drinfeld modules over certain braided Hopf algebras - to a problem in two-dimensional quantum field theory, namely the identification of integrable perturbations of a conformal field theory. A prescription that parallels Lusztig's construction allows one to read off the quantum group governing the integrable symmetry. As an example, we illustrate how the quantum group for the loop algebra of sl(2) appears in the integrable structure of the perturbed uncompactified and compactified free boson.
We address the general classification problem of all stable associative product structures in the complex cobordism theory. We show how to reduce this problem to the algebraic one in terms of the Hopf algebra $S$ (the Landweber-Novikov algebra) acting on its dual Hopf algebra $S^*$ with a distinguished ``topologically integral'' part $Λ$ that coincids with the coefficient ring of the complex cobordism. We describe the formal group and its logarithm in terms of representations of $S$. We introduce one-dimensional representations of a Hopf algebra. We give series of examples of such representati…
We realize the Hopf algebra $U_q({\mathfrak {sp}}_{2n})$ as an algebra of quantum differential operators on the quantum symplectic space $\mathcal{X}(f_s;\mathrm{R})$ and prove that $\mathcal{X}(f_s;\mathrm{R})$ is a $U_q({\mathfrak{sp}}_{2n})$-module algebra whose irreducible summands are just its homogeneous subspaces. We give a coherence realization for all the positive root vectors under the actions of Lusztig's braid automorphisms of $U_q({\mathfrak {sp}}_{2n})$.
We classify Drinfeld twists for the quantum Borel subalgebra u_q(b) in the Frobenius-Lusztig kernel u_q(g), where g is a simple Lie algebra over C and q an odd root of unity. More specifically, we show that alternating forms on the character group of the group of grouplikes for u_q(b) generate all twists for u_q(b), under a certain algebraic group action. This implies a simple classification of Hopf algebras whose categories of representations are tensor equivalent to that of u_q(b). We also show that cocycle twists for the corresponding De Concini-Kac algebra are in bijection with alternating…
In the paper, we further realize the higher rank quantized universal enveloping algebra $U_q(sl_{n+1})$ as certain quantum differential operators in $\mathcal W_q(2n)$ defined over the quantum divided power algebra $\mathcal{A}_q(n)$ of rank $n$. We give the quantum differential operators realization for both the simple root vectors and the non-simple root vectors of $U_q(sl_{n+1})$. The nice behavior of the quantum root vectors formulas under the action of the Lusztig symmetries once again indicates that our realization model is naturally matched.
The quantum co-ordinate algebra $A_{q}(\mathfrak{g})$ associated to a Kac-Moody Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ forms a Hopf algebra whose comodules are precisely the $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g})$ modules in the BGG category $\mathcal{O}_{\mathfrak{g}}$. In this paper we investigate whether an analogous result is true when $q=0$. We classify crystal bases as coalgebras over a comonadic functor on the category of pointed sets and encode the monoidal structure of crystals into a bicomonadic structure. In doing this we prove that there is no coalgebra in the category of pointed sets whose comodules are equiva…
In this thesis, the connection between recently introduced algebraic structures (tridiagonal algebra, $q$-Onsager algebra, generalized $q-$Onsager algebras), related representation theory (tridiagonal pair, Leonard pair, orthogonal polynomials), some properties of these algebras and the analysis of related quantum integrable models on the lattice (the $XXZ$ open spin chain at roots of unity) is first reviewed. Then, the main results of the thesis are described: (i) for the class of $q-$Onsager algebras associated with $\widehat{sl_2}$ and ADE type simply-laced affine Lie algebras, higher order…
We present a rigid cluster model to realize the quantum group ${\bf U}_q(\mathfrak{g})$ for $\mathfrak{g}$ of type ADE. That is, we prove that there is a natural Hopf algebra isomorphism from the quantum group ${\bf U}_q(\mathfrak{g})$ to a quotient algebra of the Weyl group invariants of the Fock-Goncharov quantum cluster algebra $\mathcal{O}_q(\mathscr{P}_{{\rm G},\odot})$. By applying the quantum duality of cluster algebras, we show that ${\bf U}_q(\mathfrak{g})$ admits a natural basis $\bar{\bf Θ}$ whose structural coefficients are in $\mathbb{N}[q^{\frac{1}{2}}, q^{-\frac{1}{2}}]$. The ba…
Let U_q(sl_2) be the standard Drinfeld-Jimbo quantized universal enveloping algebra over sl_2, let F_q[SL_2] be the corresponding quantum function algebra, and let R be the ring of Laurent polynomials in q with coefficients in the ring of integers. Let \Cal{U}_q(sl_2) be the unrestricted R-integer form of U_q(sl_2) introduced by De Concini, Kac and Procesi. Within the quantum function algebra F_q[SL_2], we study the subset \Cal{F}_q[SL_2] of all elements which give values in the ring R when paired with \Cal{U}_q(sl_2). In this paper we describe \Cal{F}_q[SL_2]. In particular we provide a prese…
We offer a complete classification of right coideal subalgebras which contain all group-like elements for the multiparameter version of the quantum group $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1})$ provided that the main parameter $q$ is not a root of 1. As a consequence, we determine that for each subgroup $Σ$ of the group $G$ of all group-like elements the quantum Borel subalgebra $U_q^+ (\mathfrak{sl}_{n+1})$ containes $(n+1)!$ different homogeneous right coideal subalgebras $U$ such that $U\cap G=Σ.$ If $q$ has a finite multiplicative order $t>2,$ the classification remains valid for homogeneous right coid…
This short summary of recent developments in quantum compact groups and star products is divided into 2 parts. In the first one we recast star products in a more abstract form as deformations and review its recent developments. The second part starts with a rapid presentation of standard quantum group theory and its problems, then moves to their completion by introduction of suitable Montel topologies well adapted to duality. Preferred deformations (by star products and unchanged coproducts) of Hopf algebras of functions on compact groups and their duals, are of special interest. Connection wi…
Let $U_q$ denote the quantum group associated with a finite dimensional semisimple Lie algebra. Assume that $q$ is a complex root of unity of odd order and that $U_q$ is %the quantum group version obtained via Lusztig's $q$-divided powers construction. We prove that all regular projective (tilting) modules for $U_q$ are rigid, i.e., have identical radical and socle filtrations. Moreover, we obtain the same for a large class of Weyl modules for $U_q$. On the other hand, we give examples of non-rigid indecomposable tilting modules as well as non-rigid Weyl modules. These examples are for type $B…
For any module $M$ over small quantum group one defines the support variety using construction from the theory of restricted Lie algebras. It is a closed conical subset of nilpotent cone of the corresponding Lie algebra. If module $M$ is a module over the quantum group $U_ξ$ with divided powers then its support variety is invariant under the action of the corresponding algebraic group. In this case we relate codimension $2a$ of the support variety of $M$ in nilpotent cone and dimension of $M$. Namely, we prove that $\dim M$ is `almost' divisible by $l^a$. Further, we give an a priori estimate …
Let ${U}_q(sl_2)$ be the quantized enveloping algebra associated to the simple Lie algebra $sl_2$. In this paper, we study the quantum double $D_q$ of the Borel subalgebra ${U}_q((sl_2)^{\leq 0})$ of ${U}_q(sl_2)$. We construct an analogue of Kostant--Lusztig ${Z}[v,v^{-1}]$-form for $D_q$ and show that it is a Hopf subalgebra. We prove that, over an algebraically closed field, every simple $D_q$-module is the pullback of a simple ${U}_q(sl_2)$-module through certain surjection from $D_q$ onto ${U}_q(sl_2)$, and the category of finite dimensional weight $D_q$-modules is equivalent to a direct …
