We propose a dark energy model with a logarithmic cosmological fluid which can result in a very small current value of the dark energy density and avoid the coincidence problem without much fine-tuning. We construct a couple of dynamical models that could realize this dark energy at very low energy in terms of four scalar fields quintessence and discuss the current acceleration of the Universe. Numerical values can be made to be consistent with the accelerating Universe with adjustment of the two parameters of the theory. The potential can be given only in terms of the scale factor, but the explicit form at very low energy can be obtained in terms of the scalar field to yield of the form V(ϕ)=\exp(-2ϕ)(\frac{4 A}{3}ϕ+B). Some discussions and the physical implications of this approach are given.
We investigate the cosmological applications of fluids having an equation of state which is the analog to the one related to the isotropic deformation of crystalline solids, that is containing logarithmic terms of the energy density, allowing additionally for a bulk viscosity. We consider two classes of scenarios and we show that they are both capable of triggering the transition from deceleration to acceleration at late times. Furthermore, we confront the scenarios with data from Supernovae type Ia (SN Ia) and Hubble function observations, showing that the agreement is excellent. Moreover, we…
We investigate the cosmological dynamics of interacting Logarithmic Entropy Corrected Holographic Dark Energy model with Cold Dark Matter. Fixed points are determined and their corresponding cosmological models are presented. Moreover, the dynamical properties of these fixed points are derived.
In an $n$-dimensional Friedmann-Robertson-Walker metric, it is rigorously shown that any analytical theory of gravity $f(R,{\cal G})$, where $R$ is the curvature scalar and $\cal G$ is the Gauss-Bonnet topological invariant, can be associated to a perfect-fluid stress-energy tensor. In this perspective, dark components of the cosmological Hubble flow can be geometrically interpreted.
We show that an n-dimensional generalized Robertson-Walker (GRW) space-time with divergence-free conformal curvature tensor exhibits a perfect fluid stress-energy tensor for any f(R) gravity model. Furthermore we prove that a conformally flat GRW space-time is still a perfect fluid in both f(R) and quadratic gravity where other curvature invariants are considered.
In this paper, we consider an inflationary model of $f(R)$ gravity with polynomial form plus logarithmic term. We calculate some cosmological parameters and compare our results with the Plank 2015 data. We find that presence of both logarithmic and polynomial corrections are necessary to yield slow-roll condition. Also, we study critical points and stability of the model to find that it is a viable model.
Separating expansion from contraction in spherically symmetric models with a perfect-fluid: Generalization of the Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff condition and application to models with a cosmological constant
Given an anisotropic fluid source, we determine in closed forms, upon solving the field equations of general relativity (GR) and teleparallel gravity (TEGR) coupled to a cosmological constant, cylindrically symmetric four-dimensional cosmological rotating wormholes, satisfying all local energy conditions, and cosmological rotating solutions with two axes of symmetry at finite proper distance. These solutions have the property that their angular velocity is proportional to the cosmological constant.
Recently a new Lagrangian framework was introduced to describe interactions between scalar fields and relativistic perfect fluids. This allows two consistent generalizations of coupled quintessence models: non-vanishing pressures and a new type of derivative interaction. Here the implications of these to the formation of cosmological large-scale structure are uncovered at the linear order. The full perturbation equations in the two cases are derived in a unified formalism and their Newtonian, quasi-static limit is studied analytically. Requiring the absence of an effective sound speed for the …
The paper discusses back reaction effects in cosmology, (á la Buchert et. al.), induced by noncommutative geometry effects in fluid. We have used generalizations of an action formulation of noncommutative fluid model, proposed earlier by us. We show that the noncommutative effects, depending on its nature, can play either roles of (kinematical) dark matter or Cosmological Constant.
We describe the accelerated expansion of the late-time universe using a generalized equation of state (EoS) when account is taken of bulk viscosity. We assume a homogeneous and isotropic Friedmann-Robertson-Walker spacetime. Solutions of the gravitational equations for dark energy are obtained in implicit form. Characteristic properties of the Universe evolution in the presence of the viscosity effects are discussed. Finally, the dynamics of the accelerated expansion of the viscous universe is discussed, on the basis of a modified logarithmic-corrected EoS.
We present fully nonlinear and exact cosmological perturbation equations in the presence of multiple components of fluids and minimally coupled scalar fields. We ignore the tensor-type perturbation. The equations are presented without taking the temporal gauge condition in the Friedmann background with general curvature and the cosmological constant. For each fluid component we ignore the anisotropic stress. The multiple component nature, however, introduces the anisotropic stress in the collective fluid quantities. We prove the Newtonian limit of multiple fluids in the zero-shear gauge and th…
We prove that in Robertson-Walker space-times (and in generalized Robertson-Walker spacetimes of dimension greater than 3 with divergence-free Weyl tensor) all higher-order gravitational corrections of the Hilbert-Einstein Lagrangian density $F(R,\square R, ... , \square^k R)$ have the form of perfect fluids in the field equations. This statement definitively allows to deal with dark energy fluids as curvature effects.
In this paper, we obtain a holographic model of dark energy using the fluid/gravity duality. This model will be dual to a higher dimensional Schwarzschild black hole, and we would use fluid/gravity duality to relate to the parameters of this black hole to such a cosmological model. We will also analyze the thermodynamics of such a solution, and discuss the stability model. Finally, we use cosmological data to constraint the parametric space of this dark energy model. Thus, we will use observational data to perform cosmography for this holographic model based on fluid/gravity duality.
In this paper, we continue investigating the possible values of the pre-factors $α$ and $β$ in the logarithmic corrected entropy-area relation based on cosmological stability arguments. In a previous study, we have investigated the stability of the entropy-corrected cosmology using an empirical hyperbolic form of the scale factor. We found that the zero values of the two pre-factors are necessary to obtain a stable flat universe with a deceleration-acceleration transition and no causality violation. The necessity of the zero values of the two pre-factors has also been reached in the current wo…
We make a generalization of a self-consistent first-order perturbation scheme, being suitable for all (sub-horizon and super-horizon) scales, which has been recently constructed for the concordance cosmological model and discrete presentation of matter sources, to the case of extended models with extra perfect fluids and continuous presentation. Namely, we derive a single equation determining the scalar perturbation and covering the whole space as well as define the corresponding universal Yukawa interaction range. We also demonstrate explicitly that the structure growth is suppressed at dista…
We investigate anisotropic fluid cosmology in a situation where the spacetime metric back-reacts in a local, time-dependent way to the presence of inhomogeneities. We derive exact solutions to the Einstein field equations describing Friedmann-Lemaitre-Robertson-Walker (FLRW) large scale cosmological evolution in the presence of local inhomogeneities and time-dependent back reaction. We use our derivation to tackle the cosmological constant problem. A cosmological constant emerges by averaging the back reaction term on spatial scales of the order of $100 \ \text{Mpc}$, at which our universe beg…
In this work we propose the quantization of a cosmological model describing the primordial universe filled with five barotropic fluids, namely: radiation, dust, vacuum, cosmic strings and domain walls. We intend to identify which fluid is best suited to provide phenomenologically the temporal variable in accordance with the observable universe. Through the Galerkin spectral method and the finite difference method in the Crank-Nicolson scheme (vacuum case), the quantum cosmological solutions are obtained and compared. We, also, compare the quantum cosmological solutions with the corresponding c…
We study the evolution of cosmological perturbations generated during de Sitter inflation in the singleton gravity theory. This theory is composed of a dipole ghost pair in addition to tensor. We obtain the singleton power spectra which show that the de Sitter/logarithmic conformal field theory (dS/LCFT) correspondence works for computing the power spectra in the superhorizon limit. Also we compute the spectral indices for light singleton which contains a logarithmic correction.
Relativistic non-Abelian spinning fluids can be formulated in group theory language, where the corresponding Mathisson-Papapetrou equation for spinning fluids can be obtained in terms of a specific de Sitter group contraction. This framework is very suitable for studying the effects of a spinning fluid of matter with vorticity and a spin density in a cosmological background.
A spatially homogeneous and locally rotationally symmetric Bianchi type-II cosmological model under the influence of both shear and bulk viscosity has been studied. Exact solutions are obtained with a barotropic equation of state between thermodynamics pressure and the energy density of the fluid, and considering the linear relationships amongst the energy density, the expansion scalar and the shear scalar. Special cases with vanishing bulk viscosity coefficients and with the perfect fluid in the absence of viscosity have also been studied. The formal appearance of the solutions is the same fo…
We investigate the physical measurability of the infrared instability of a de Sitter phase in the formalism recently proposed by Kitamoto et al.. We find that the logarithmic decay of the effective cosmological constant is only measurable if an additional clock field is introduced.
A generalization of the random fluid hydrodynamic fluctuation theory due to Landau and Lifshitz is applied to describe cosmological fluctuations in systems with radiation and scalar fields. The viscous pressures, parametrized in terms of the bulk and shear viscosity coefficients, and the respective random fluctuations in the radiation fluid are combined with the stochastic and dissipative scalar evolution equation. This results in a complete set of equations describing the perturbations in both scalar and radiation fluids. These derived equations are then studied, as an example, in the context…
We consider a universe filled with perfect fluid with the constant equation of state parameter $ω$. In the theory of scalar perturbations, we study the effect of peculiar velocities on the gravitational potential. For radiation with $ω=1/3$, we obtain the expression for the gravitational potential in the integral form. Numerical calculation clearly demonstrates the modulation of the gravitational potential by acoustic oscillations due to the presence of peculiar velocities. We also show that peculiar velocities affect the gravitational potential in the case of the frustrated network of cosmic …
Acoustic perturbations in an expanding hadronic fluid at temperatures below the chiral transition point represent massless pions propagating in curved spacetime geometry. In comoving coordinates the corresponding analog metric tensor describes a hyperbolic FRW spacetime. We study the analog cosmological particle creation of pions below the critical point of the chiral phase transition. We compare the cosmological creation spectrum with the spectrum of analog Hawking radiation at the analog trapping horizon.
Exact solutions of embedding the four-dimensional perfect fluid in a five- or higher-dimensional Einstein spacetime and the cosmological interpretations
The article is devoted to cosmology. It deals with homogeneous anisotropic cosmological models. Scale factors have been evaluated for the multicomponent models with perfect fluid, taking account of its expansion, rotation and shear. The cosmological fluid components are as follows: phantom matter, de Sitter vacuum, domain walls, strings, dust, radiation, perfect gas, stiff matter and ekpyrotic matter. The scale factor dependences on the equation of state and kinematic invariants of the perfect fluid have been analysed. The paper is aimed at finding exact solutions of Friedmann and Raychaudhuri…
We test the physical relevance of the full and the truncated versions of the Israel-Stewart theory of irreversible thermodynamics in a cosmological setting. Using a dynamical systems method, we determine the asymptotic future of plane symmetric Bianchi type I spacetimes with a viscous mathematical fluid, keeping track of the magnitude of the relative dissipative fluxes, which determines the applicability of the Israel-Stewart theory. We consider the situations where the dissipative mechanisms of shear and bulk viscosity are involved separately and simultaneously. It is demonstrated that the on…
Tilted two fluids cosmological models with variable G and Λ In General Relativity are presented. Here one fluid is matter field modelling material content of the universe and another fluid is radiation field modelling the cosmic microwave background (CMB). The tiltedness is also considered .To get the deterministic model, we have assumed a supplementary condition where s and n are constants. We have also discussed the behaviours of some physical parameters.
Present work deals with the two fluid Bianchi Type-V cosmological models consisting of matter and radiating source in the $f(R, T)$ theory of gravity studied by Harko et al. (2011). In this paper, we developed a new idea about $f(R, T)$ gravity with the help of two fluids: one fluid is matter field modeling material content of the Universe and other fluid is radiation field modeling the CMB. We have determined the solution of the two fluid gravitational field equations with the systematic structure in $f(R, T)$ gravity. Here we have deliberated four types of universe such as dust universe, rad…
