Analogous of Riesz potentials and Riesz transforms are defined and studied for the Dunkl transform associated with a family of weighted functions that are invariant under a reflection group. The $L^p$ boundedness of these operators is established in certain cases.
In the present paper, we establish that Riesz transforms for Dunkl Hermite expansion as introduced in [4] are singular integral operators with Hörmander's type conditions and we show that are bounded on $L^p(\mathbb{R}^d; dμ_k) 1 < p < 1.
We study weighted $(L^p, L^q)$-boundedness properties of Riesz potentials and fractional maximal functions for the Dunkl transform. In particular, we obtain the weighted Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev type inequality and weighted week $(L^1, L^q)$ estimate. We find a sharp constant in the weighted $L^p$-inequality, generalizing the results of W. Beckner and S. Samko.
Hardy-Littlewood maximal, generalized Bessel-Riesz and generalized fractional integral operators in generalized Morrey and $BMO_ϕ$ spaces associated with Dunkl operator on the real line
In this paper, we will give some results on the support of Dunkl translations on compactly supported functions. Then we will define Dunkl-type $BMO$ space and Riesz transforms for Dunkl transform on $L^\infty$, and prove the boundedness of Riesz transforms from $L^\infty$ to Dunkl-type $BMO$ space under the uniform boundedness assumption of Dunkl translations. The proof and the definition in Dunkl setting will be harder than in the classical case for the lack of some similar properties of Dunkl translations to that of classical translations. We will also extend the preciseness of the descripti…
We study Riesz distributions in the framework of rational Dunkl theory associated with root systems of type A. As an important tool, we employ a Laplace transform involving the associated Dunkl kernel, which essentially goes back to Macdonald, but was so far only established at a formal level. We give a rigorous treatment of this transform based on suitable estimates of the type A Dunkl kernel. Our main result is a precise analogue in the Dunkl setting of a well-known result by Gindikin, stating that a Riesz distribution on a symmetric cone is a positive measure if and only if its exponent is …
We study Riesz and Bessel potentials in the settings of Hankel transform, modified Hankel transform and Hankel-Dunkl transform. We prove sharp or qualitatively sharp pointwise estimates of the corresponding potential kernels. Then we characterize those $1\le p,q \le \infty$, for which the potential operators satisfy $L^p-L^q$ estimates. In case of the Riesz potentials, we also characterize those $1\le p,q \le \infty$, for which two-weight $L^p-L^q$ estimates, with power weights involved, hold. As a special case of our results, we obtain a full characterization of two power-weight $L^p-L^q$ bou…
For a family of weight functions, $h_κ$, invariant under a finite reflection group on $\RR^d$, analysis related to the Dunkl transform is carried out for the weighted $L^p$ spaces. Making use of the generalized translation operator and the weighted convolution, we study the summability of the inverse Dunkl transform, including as examples the Poisson integrals and the Bochner-Riesz means. We also define a maximal function and use it to prove the almost everywhere convergence.
The spherical Radon-Dunkl transform $R_κ$, associated to weight functions invariant under a finite reflection group, is introduced, and some elementary properties are obtained in terms of $h$-harmonics. Several inversion formulas of $R_κ$ are given with the aid of spherical Riesz-Dunkl potentials, the Dunkl operators, and some appropriate wavelet transforms.
We prove a Calderón reproducing formula for the Dunkl continuous wavelet transform on $\mathbb{R}$. We apply this result to derive new inversion formulas for the dual Dunkl-Sonine integral transform.
We prove sharp Pitt's inequality for the Dunkl transform in $L^{2}(\mathbb{R}^{d})$ with the corresponding weights. As an application, we obtain the logarithmic uncertainty principle for the Dunkl transform.
In this paper we present another proofs of the geometrical forms of Paley-Wiener theorems for the Dunkl transform given in [15], and we prove inversion formulas for the Dunl interwining operator Vk and for its dual tVk and we deduce the expression of the representing distributions of the inverse operators vk(-1) and tvk(-1).
A new fractional version of the Dunkl transform for real order $α$ is obtained. An integral representation, a Bochner type identity and a Master formula for this transform are derived.
We consider the Dunkl intertwining operator $V_α$ and its dual ${}^tV_α$, we define and study the Dunkl Sonine operator and its dual on $\mathbb{R}$. Next, we introduce complex powers of the Dunkl Laplacian $Δ_α$ and establish inversion formulas for the Dunkl Sonine operator $S_{α,β}$ and its dual ${}^tS_{α,β}$. Also, we give a Plancherel formula for the operator ${}^tS_{α,β}$.
We consider expansions of functions in $L^{p}(\mathbb{R},|x|^{2k}dx)$, $1\leq p<+\infty$ with respect to Dunkl-Hermite functions in the rank-one setting. We actually define the heat-diffusion and Poisson integrals in the one-dimensional Dunkl setting and study their properties. Next, we define and deal with Hilbert transforms and conjugate Poisson integrals in the same setting. The formers occur to be Calderón-Zygmund operators and hence their mapping properties follow from general results.
We investigate Laplace type and Laplace-Stieltjes type multipliers in the $d$-dimensional setting of the Dunkl harmonic oscillator with the associated group of reflections isomorphic to $\mathbb{Z}_2^d$ and in the related context of Laguerre function expansions of convolution type. We use Calderón-Zygmund theory to prove that these multiplier operators are bounded on weighted $L^p$, $1<p<\infty$, and from $L^1$ to weak $L^1$.
Dunkl operators associated with finite reflection groups generate a commutative algebra of differential-difference operators. There exists a unique linear operator called intertwining operator which intertwines between this algebra and the algebra of standard differential operators. There also exists a generalization of the Fourier transform in this context called Dunkl transform. In this paper, we determine an integral expression for the Dunkl kernel, which is the integral kernel of the Dunkl transform, for all dihedral groups. We also determine an integral expression for the intertwining ope…
In this paper, a new method is developed to obtain explicit and integral expressions for the kernel of the $(κ, a)$-generalized Fourier transform for $κ=0$. In the case of dihedral groups, this method is also applied to the Dunkl kernel as well as the Dunkl Bessel function. The method uses the introduction of an auxiliary variable in the series expansion of the kernel, which is subsequently Laplace transformed. The kernel in the Laplace domain takes on a much simpler form, by making use of the Poisson kernel. The inverse Laplace transform can then be computed using the generalized Mittag-Leffl…
In this paper, we will first show that the maximal operator $S_*^α$ of spherical partial sums $S_R^α$, associated to Dunkl transform on $\mathbb{R}$ is bounded on $L^p(\mathbb{R}, |x|^{2α+1} dx)$ functions when $\frac{4(α+1)}{2α+3}<p<\frac{4(α+1)}{2α+1}$, and it implies that, for every $L^p(\mathbb{R}, |x|^{2α+1} dx)$ function $f(x)$, $S_R^αf(x)$ converges to $f(x)$ almost everywhere as $R\to \infty$. On the other hand we obtain a sharp version by showing that $S_*^α$ is bounded from the Lorentz space $L^{p_i,1}(\mathbb{R}, |x|^{2α+1})$ into $L^{p_i,\infty}(\mathbb{R}, |x|^{2α+1}),\quad i=0,1$…
We investigate $λ$-Hilbert transform, $λ$-Possion integral and conjugate $λ$-Poisson integral on the atomic Hardy space in the Dunkl setting and establish a new version of Paley type inequality which extends the results in \cite{F} and \cite{ZhongKai Li 3}.
In this article, we define the Fourier-Dunkl transform, which generalizes the Fourier transform. We prove Strichartz's restriction theorem for the Fourier-Dunkl transform for a cone-hyper-surface and its generalisation to the family of orthonormal functions. As an application of this restriction theorem, we derive the Strichartz inequality associated with the square root of Dunkl Laplacian for the family of orthonormal functions.
In this paper, we show the inclusion and the density of the Schwartz space in Besov-Dunkl spaces and we prove an interpolation formula for these spaces by the real method. We give another characterization for these spaces by convolution. Finally, we establish further results concerning integrability of the Dunkl transform of function in a suitable Besov-Dunkl space.
This is a continuation of the paper "Restriction theorem for Fourier-Dunkl transform I: Cone surface, J. Pseudo-Differ. Oper. Appl. 14(1), Paper No. 5 (2023)", where the authors introduced and studied the Fourier-Dunkl transform on $\mathbb{R}^{n}\times\mathbb{R}^{d}$. The main novelty of this paper is that we here prove Strichartz's restriction theorem for the Fourier-Dunkl transform for certain surfaces, namely, paraboloid, sphere, and hyperboloid and its generalisation to the family of orthonormal functions. Finally, as an application of these restriction theorems, we establish versions of …
W prove a dimension-free estimate for the $L^2(\mathbb{R}^d)$ norm of the maximal truncated Riesz transform in terms of the $L^2(\mathbb{R}^d)$ norm of the Riesz transform. Consequently, the vector of maximal truncated Riesz transforms has a dimension-free estimate on $L^2(\mathbb{R}^d)$. We also show that the maximal function of the vector of truncated Riesz transforms has a dimension-free estimate on all $L^p(\mathbb{R}^d)$ spaces, $1<p<\infty.$
We continue a program generalizing classical results from the analysis on symmetric cones to the Dunkl setting for root systems of type A. In particular, we prove a Dunkl-Laplace transform identity for Heckman-Opdam hypergeometric functions of type A and more generally, for the associated Cherednik kernel. This is achieved by analytic continuation from a Laplace transform identity for non-symmetric Jack polynomials which was stated, for the symmetric case, as a key conjecture in an unpublished manuscript of Macdonald (2013). Our proof for the Jack polynomials is based on Dunkl operator techniq…
We estimate in Lp the maximal Riesz transform in terms of the Riesz transform itself for p greater than 1. In the limiting case p=1 the weak L1 inequality is shown to fail. Surprisingly, the weak L1 inequality for the maximal Beurling transform in terms of the Beurling transform does hold.
In this paper we investigate Lp-boundedness properties for the higher order Riesz transforms associated with Laguerre operators. Also we prove that the k-th Riesz transform is a principal value singular integral operator (modulus a constant times of the function when k is even). To establish our results we exploit a new identity connecting Riesz transforms in the Hermite and Laguerre settings.
In this paper we prove weighted mixed norm estimates for Riesz transforms associated to Hermite and special Hermite operators. The estimates are shown to be equivalent to vectorvalued esimates for a sequence of operators defined in terms of Laguerre functions of different type.
This paper provides a constructive proof of the weak factorizations of the classical Hardy space $H^1(\mathbb{R}^n)$ in terms of multilinear Riesz transforms. As a direct application, we obtain a new proof of the characterization of ${\rm BMO}(\mathbb{R}^n)$ (the dual of $H^1(\mathbb{R}^n)$) via commutators of the multilinear Riesz transforms.
The Riesz transform is a natural multi-dimensional extension of the Hilbert transform, and it has been the object of study for many years due to its nice mathematical properties. More recently, the Riesz transform and its variants have been used to construct complex wavelets and steerable wavelet frames in higher dimensions. The flip side of this approach, however, is that the Riesz transform of a wavelet often has slow decay. One can nevertheless overcome this problem by requiring the original wavelet to have sufficient smoothness, decay, and vanishing moments. In this paper, we derive necess…
In this article we prove dimension free $L^p$-boundedness of Riesz transforms associated with a Bessel diferential operator. We obtain explicit estimates of the $L^p$-norms for the Bessel-Riesz transforms in terms of p, establishing a linear behaviour with respect to p. We use the Bellman function technique to prove a bilinear dimension free inequality involving Poisson semigroups defined through this Bessel operator.
We study the two-parameter family of unitary operators \[ \mathcal{F}_{k,a}=\exp\Bigl(\frac{iπ}{2a}\,(2\langle k\rangle+{d}+a-2 )\Bigr) \exp\Bigl(\frac{iπ}{2a}\,Δ_{k,a}\Bigr), \] which are called $(k,a)$-generalized Fourier transforms and defined by the $a$-deformed Dunkl harmonic oscillator $Δ_{k,a}=|x|^{2-a}Δ_{k}-|x|^{a}$, $a>0$, where $Δ_{k}$ is the Dunkl Laplacian. Particular cases of such operators are the Fourier and Dunkl transforms. The restriction of $\mathcal{F}_{k,a}$ to radial functions is given by the $a$-deformed Hankel transform $H_{λ,a}$. We obtain necessary and sufficient cond…
For 0<n<d integers and r>2, we prove that an n-dimensional Ahlfors-David regular measure M in R^d is uniformly n-rectifiable if and only if the r-variation for the Riesz transform with respect to M is a bounded operator in L^2(M). This result can be considered as a partial solution to a well known open problem posed by G. David and S. Semmes which relates the L^2(M) boundedness of the Riesz transform to the uniform rectifiability of M.
In this paper we represent the $k$-th Riesz transform in the ultraspherical setting as a principal value integral operator for every $k\in \mathbb{N}$. We also measure the speed of convergence of the limit by proving $L^p$-boundedness properties for the oscillation and variation operators associated with the corresponding truncated operators.
We discuss weighted estimates for the squares of the Riesz transforms, R^{2}, on L^{2}(W) where W is a matrix A2 weight. We prove that if W is close to the Identity matrix Id, then the operator norm of R^{2} is close to its unweighted norm on L^{2} which is one. This is done by the use of the Bellman function technique.
This paper is the continuation of the study on discrete harmonic analysis related to Jacobi expansions initiated in [1]. Considering the operator $\mathcal{J}^{(α,β)}=J^{(α,β)}-I$, where $J^{(α,β)}$ is the three-term recurrence relation for the normalized Jacobi polynomials and $I$ is the identity operator, we focus on the study of weighted inequalities for the Riesz transform associated with it.
The aim of this paper is to estimate the $L^2$-norms of vector-valued Riesz transforms $R_ν^s$ and the norms of Riesz operators on Cantor sets in $\R^d$, as well as to study the distribution of values of $R_ν^s$. Namely, we show that this distribution is "uniform" in the following sense. The values of $|R_ν^s|^2$ which are comparable with its average value are attended on a "big" portion of a Cantor set. We apply these results to give examples demonstrating the sharpness of our previous estimates for the set of points where Riesz transform is large, and for the corresponding Riesz capacities. …
Let $\mathcal G$ be a stratified Lie group and $\{\X_j\}_{1 \leq j \leq n}$ a basis for the left-invariant vector fields of degree one on $\mathcal G$. Let $Δ= \sum_{j = 1}^n \X_j^2 $ be the sub-Laplacian on $\mathcal G$ and the $j^{\mathrm{th}}$ Riesz transform on $\mathcal G$ is defined by $R_j:= \X_j (-Δ)^{-\frac{1}{2}}$, $1 \leq j \leq n$. In this paper we give a new version of the lower bound of the kernels of Riesz transform $R_j$ and then establish the Bloom-type two weight estimates as well as a number of endpoint characterisations for the commutators of the Riesz transforms and BMO fu…
In this paper, let $L=L_{0}+V$ be a Schrödinger type operator where $L_{0}$ is higher order elliptic operator with complex coefficients in divergence form and $V$ is signed measurable function, under the strongly subcritical assumption on $V$, the authors study the $L^{q}$ boundedness of Riesz transforms $\nabla^{m}L^{-1/2}$ for $q\leq 2$ and obtain a sharp result. Furthermore, the authors impose extra regularity assumptions on $V$ to obtain the $L^{q}$ boundedness of Riesz transforms $\nabla^{m}L^{-1/2}$ for $q>2$. As an application, the main results can be applied to the operator $L=(-Δ)^{m}…
We prove that the energy conditions in arXiv:1302.5093v7 are implied by the fractional A2 conditions and testing conditions for the vector of fractional Riesz transforms when one measure is supported on a line. Then we apply the main theorem in arXiv:1302.5093v7 to obtain a T1 theorem for the fractional Riesz transforms when one weight is supported on a line.
We provide a study of the Riesz transforms on stratified nilpotent Lie groups, and obtain a certain version of the pointwise lower bound of the Riesz transform kernel. Then we establish the characterisation of the BMO space on stratified nilpotent Lie groups via the boundedness of the commutator of the Riesz transforms and the BMO function. This extends the well-known Coifman, Rochberg, Weiss theorem from Euclidean space to the setting of stratified nilpotent Lie groups. In particular, these results apply to the well-known example of the Heisenberg group. As an application, we also study the c…
These lecture notes are intended as an introduction to the theory of rational Dunkl operators and the associated special functions, with an emphasis on positivity and asymptotics. We start with an outline of the general concepts: Dunkl operators, the intertwining operator, the Dunkl kernel and the Dunkl transform. We point out the connection with integrable particle systems of Calogero-Moser-Sutherland type, and discuss some systems of orthogonal polynomials associated with them. A major part is devoted to positivity results for the intertwining operator and the Dunkl kernel, the Dunkl-type he…
In this paper, a family of radial deformations of the realization of the Lie superalgebra osp(1|2) in the theory of Dunkl operators is obtained. This leads to a Dirac operator depending on 3 parameters. Several function theoretical aspects of this operator are studied, such as the associated measure, the related Laguerre polynomials and the related Fourier transform. For special values of the parameters, it is possible to construct the kernel of the Fourier transform explicitly, as well as the related intertwining operator.
