We classify the simple infinite dimensional integrable modules with finite dimensional weight spaces over the quantized enveloping algebra of an untwisted affine algebra. We prove that these are either highest (lowest) weight integrable modules or simple submodules of a loop module of a finite-dimensional simple integrable module and describe the latter class. Their characters and crystal bases theory are discussed in a special case.
For a certain class of simple integrable modules of level zero over a quantised affine algebra, we establish the existence of a pseudo-crystal basis and show that such a basis admits a combinatorial realisation in the framework of the path model of Littelmann.
We construct by fusion product new irreducible representations of the quantum affinization $U_q(\hat{sl}_\infty)$. The action is defined via the Drinfeld coproduct and is related to the crystal structure of semi-standard tableaux of type $A_\infty$. We call these representations extremal loop weight modules. The main motivations are applications to quantum toroidal algebras $U_q(sl_{n+1}^{tor})$: we prove the conjectural link between $U_q(\hat{sl}_\infty)$ and $U_q(sl_{n+1}^{tor})$ stated in [14] for this family of representations. We recover in this way the extremal loop weight modules obtain…
The loop super-Virasoro conformal superalgebra $\mathfrak{cls}$ associated with the loop super-Virasoro algebra is constructed in the present paper. The conformal superderivation algebra of $\mathfrak{cls}$ is completely determined, which is shown to consist of inner superderivations. And nontrivial free and free $\mathbb{Z}$-graded $\mathfrak{cls}$-modules of rank two are classified. We also give a classification of irreducible free $\mathfrak{cls}$-modules of rank two and all irreducible submodules of each free $\mathbb{Z}$-graded $\mathfrak{cls}$-module of rank two.
In this paper we classified irreducible modules for the loop of derivations of rational quantum torus with associative $\mathbb{C}_q^1\otimes B$ action and anti-associative $\mathbb{C}_q^2\otimes B$ action on the modules.
We prove the existence of a homomorphism of vertex algebras, from the vacuum Verma module over the loop algebra of an untwisted affine algebra, whose construction is analogous to that of the Feigin-Frenkel homomorphism from the vacuum Verma module at critical level over an affine algebra.
We define integrable representations of quantum toroidal algebras of type A by tensor product, using the Drinfeld "coproduct". This allow us to recover the vector representations recently introduced by Feigin-Jimbo-Miwa-Mukhin [6] and constructed by the author [21] as a subfamily of extremal loop weight modules. In addition we get new extremal loop weight modules as subquotients of tensor powers of vector representations. As an application we obtain finite-dimensional representations of quantum toroidal algebras by specializing the quantum parameter at roots of unity.
In this paper, we introduce two kinds of Lie conformal algebras associated with the loop Schrödinger-Virasoro Lie algebra and the extended loop Schrödinger-Virasoro Lie algebra, respectively. The conformal derivations, the second cohomology groups of these two conformal algebras are completely determined. And nontrivial free conformal modules of rank one and Z-graded free intermediate series modules over these two conformal algebras are also classified in the present paper
The notion of a Weyl module, previously defined for the untwisted affine algebras, is extended here to the twisted affine algebras. We describe an identification of the Weyl modules for the twisted affine algebras with suitably chosen Weyl modules for the untwisted affine algebras. This identification allows us to use known results in the untwisted case to compute the dimensions and characters of the Weyl modules for the twisted algebras.
The Lie conformal algebra of loop Virasoro algebra, denoted by $\mathscr{CW}$, is introduced in this paper. Explicitly, $\mathscr{CW}$ is a Lie conformal algebra with $\mathbb{C}[\partial]$-basis $\{L_i\,|\,i\in\mathbb{C}\}$ and $λ$-brackets $[L_i\, {}_λ\, L_j]=(-\partial-2λ) L_{i+j}$. Then conformal derivations of $\mathscr{CW}$ are determined. Finally, rank one conformal modules and $\mathbb{Z}$-graded free intermediate series modules over $\mathscr{CW}$ are classified.
The aim of this paper is to study the graded limits of minimal affinizations over the quantum loop algebra of type $G_2$. We show that the graded limits are isomorphic to multiple generalizations of Demazure modules, and obtain defining relations of them. As an application, we obtain a polyhedral multiplicity formula for the decomposition of minimal affinizations of type $G_2$ as a $U_q(\mathfrak{g})$-module, by showing the corresponding formula for the graded limits.
In this paper we construct a new family of representations for the quantum toroidal algebras of type $A_n$, which are $\ell$-extremal in the sense of Hernandez [24]. We construct extremal loop weight modules associated to level 0 fundamental weights $\varpi_\ell$ when $n=2r+1$ is odd and $\ell=1, r+1$ or $n$. To do it, we relate monomial realizations of level 0 extremal fundamental weight crystals with integrable representations of $\mathcal{U}_q(sl_{n+1}^{tor})$, and we introduce promotion operators for the level 0 extremal fundamental weight crystals. By specializing the quantum parameter, w…
We study finite-dimensional representations of hyper loop algebras, i.e., the hyperalgebras over an algebraically closed field of positive characteristic associated to the loop algebra over a complex finite-dimensional simple Lie algebra. The main results are the classification of the irreducible modules, a version of Steinberg's Tensor Product Theorem, and the construction of positive characteristic analogues of the Weyl modules as defined by Chari and Pressley in the characteristic zero setting. Furthermore, we start the study of reduction modulo p and prove that every irreducible module of …
Chiral differential operators (CDOs) are closely related to string geometry and the quantum theory of two-dimensional sigma models. This paper investigates two topics about CDOs on smooth manifolds. In the first half, we study how a Lie group action on a smooth manifold can be lifted to a `formal loop group action' on an algebra of CDOs; this turns out to be a condition on the equivariant first Pontrjagin class. The case of a principal bundle receives particular attention and gives rise to a type of vertex algebras of great interest. In the second half, we introduce a construction of modules o…
We introduce the notion of a {\vartheta}-summable Fredholm module over a locally convex dg algebra Ω and construct its Chern character as a cocycle on the entire cyclic complex of Ω, extending the construction of Jaffe, Lesniewski and Osterwalder to a differential graded setting. Using this Chern character, we prove an index theorem involving an abstract version of a Bismut-Chern character constructed by Getzler, Jones and Petrack in the context of loop spaces. Our theory leads to a rigorous construction of the path integral for N=1/2 supersymmetry which satisfies a Duistermaat-Heckman type lo…
The first cohomology group of a generalized loop Virasoro algebra with coefficients in the tensor product of its adjoint module is shown to be trivial. The result is applied to prove that Lie bialgebra structures on generalized loop Virasoro algebras are coboundary triangular. We then generalize the results to generalized map Virasoro algebras.
We study twisted modules for (weak) quantum vertex algebras and we give a conceptual construction of (weak) quantum vertex algebras and their twisted modules. As an application we construct and classify irreducible twisted modules for a certain family of quantum vertex algebras.
In this paper, we classify all simple modules over the quantum torus $\mathbb{C}_ν[x^{\pm1},y^{\pm1}]$ and the quantum group $U_q(\mathfrak{sl_2})$ for generic case.
Given an affine Kac-Moody Lie algebra $\tilde{\mathfrak{g}}[σ]$ of arbitrary type, we determine certain minimal sets of annihilating fields of standard $\tilde{\mathfrak{g}}[σ]$-modules. We then use these sets in order to obtain a characterization of standard $\tilde{\mathfrak{g}}[σ]$-modules in terms of irreducible loop $\tilde{\mathfrak{g}}[σ]$-modules, which proves to be a useful tool for combinatorial constructions of bases for standard $\tilde{\mathfrak{g}}[σ]$-modules.
The purpose of this note is to define and construct highest weight modules for Felder's elliptic quantum groups. This is done by using exchange matrices for intertwining operators between (not necessarily finite-dimensional) modules over quantum affine algebras.
We study finite dimensional representations of current algebras, loop algebras and their quantized versions. For the current algebra of a simple Lie algebra of type {\tt ADE}, we show that Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules and Weyl modules are in fact all Demazure modules. As a consequence one obtains an elementary proof of the dimension formula for Weyl modules for the current and the loop algebra. Further, we show that the crystals of the Weyl and the Demazure module are the same up to some additional label zero arrows for the Weyl module. For the current algebra $\Lgc$ of an arbitrary simple Lie…
We construct new irreducible weight modules over quantum affine algebras of type I with all weight spaces infinite-dimensional. These modules are obtained by parabolic induction from irreducible modules over the Heisenberg subalgebra.
We relate the author's Lie cobracket in the module additively generated by loops on a surface with the Connes-Kreimer Lie bracket in the module additively generated by trees. To this end we introduce a pre-Lie coalgebra and a (commutative) Hopf algebra of pointed loops on a surface. In the last version I added sections on Wilson loops and knot diagrams.
We give a survey on the developments in a certain theory of quantum vertex algebras, including a conceptual construction of quantum vertex algebras and their modules and a connection of double Yangians and Zamolodchikov-Faddeev algebras with quantum vertex algebras.
We develop a theory of $ϕ$-coordinated (quasi) modules for a nonlocal vertex algebra and we establish a conceptual construction of nonlocal vertex algebras and their $ϕ$-coordinated (quasi) modules, where $ϕ$ is what we call an associate of the one-dimensional additive formal group. By specializing $ϕ$ to a particular associate, we obtain a new construction of weak quantum vertex algebras in the sense of \cite{li-qva1}. As an application, we associate weak quantum vertex algebras to quantum affine algebras, and we also associate quantum vertex algebras and $ϕ$-coordinated modules to a certain …
This paper is about $ϕ$-coordinated modules for weak quantum vertex algebras. Among the main results, several canonical connections among $ϕ$-coordinated modules for different $ϕ$ are established. For vertex operator algebras, a reinterpretation of Frenkel-Huang-Lepowsky's theorem on contragredient module is given in terms of $ϕ$-coordinated modules.
The representations of the quantum toroidal algebras have been widely studied by many authors. However, no one has constructed some finite dimensional modules for them while $q$ is generic. In this paper, for all $\mathfrak{g}$-generic $q$, if $\mathfrak{g}$ is not of type $A_1$, we prove that the quantum toroidal algebra $U_q(\mathfrak{g}_{\rm tor})$ has no nontrivial finite dimensional simple module.
The simplicity of the Kac modules for the quantum superalgebra U_q(gl(m,n)) is studied, and the relation between the representation of U_q(gl(m,n)) and that of U_q(g_{\0}) is investigated.
We give a proof of the cyclicity conjecture of Akasaka-Kashiwara, for simply laced types, via quiver varieties. We get also an algebraic characterization of the standard modules.
We define a family of universal finite-dimensional highest weight modules for affine Lie algebras, we call these Weyl modules. We conjecture that these are the classical limits of the irreducible finite--dimensional representations of the quantum affine algebras. We prove this conjecture in the case of affine sl_2. We establish a criterion for these modules to be irreducible and prove a factorization theorem for them in the general case.
Let $k(S^2_q)$ be the "coordinate ring" of a quantum sphere. We introduce the cotangent module on the quantum sphere as a one-sided $k(S^2_q)$-module and show that there is no Yang-Baxter type operator converting it into a $k(S^2_q)$-bimodule which would be a flatly deformed object w.r.t. its classical counterpart. This implies non-flatness of any covariant differential calculus on the quantum sphere making use of the Leibniz rule. Also, we introduce the cotangent and tangent modules on generic quantum orbits and discuss some related problems of "braided geometry".
We define a filtration indexed by the integers on the tensor product of an integrable highest weight module and a loop module for a quantum affine algebra. We prove that the filtration is either trivial or strictly decreasing and give sufficient conditions for this to happen. In the first case we prove that the module is irreducible and in the second case we prove that the intersection of all the modules is zero, thus allowing us to define the completed tensor product. In certain special cases, we identify the subsequent quotients of filtration. These are certain highest weight integrable modu…
We introduce the $h$-adic quantum vertex algebras associated with the trigonometric $R$-matrices in types $B$, $C$ and $D$, thus generalizing the well-known Etingof-Kazhdan construction in type $A$. We show that restricted modules for quantum affine algebras in types $B$, $C$ and $D$ are naturally equipped with the structure of $ϕ$-coordinated module for the aforementioned $h$-adic quantum vertex algebras.
This is a paper in a series to study quantum vertex algebras and their relations with various quantum algebras. In this paper, we introduce a notion of T-type quantum vertex algebra and a notion of $G$-covariant $ϕ$-coordinated quasi module for a $T$-type quantum vertex algebra with an automorphism group $G$. We refine and extend several previous results and we obtain a commutator formula for $G$-covariant $ϕ$-coordinated quasi modules. As an illustrating example, we study a special case of the deformed Virasoro algebra $\V_{p,q}$ with $q=-1$, to which we associate a Clifford vertex superalgeb…
Each pointed topological space has an associated $π$-module, obtained from action of its first homotopy group on its second homotopy group. For the $3$-ball with a trivial link with $n$-components removed from its interior, its $π$-module $\mathcal{M}_n$ is of free type. In this paper we give an injection of the (extended) loop braid group into the group of automorphisms of $\mathcal{M}_n$. We give a topological interpretation of this injection, showing that it is both an extension of Artin's representation for braid groups and of Dahm's homomorphism for (extended) loop braid groups.
Recently B. Hartwig and the second author found a presentation for the three-point $sl_2$ loop algebra via generators and relations. To obtain this presentation they defined an algebra $\boxtimes$ by generators and relations, and displayed an isomorphism from $\boxtimes$ to the three-point $sl_2$ loop algebra. We introduce a quantum analog of $\boxtimes$ which we call $\boxtimes_q$. We define $\boxtimes_q$ via generators and relations. We show how $\boxtimes_q$ is related to the quantum group $U_q(sl_2)$, the $U_q(sl_2)$ loop algebra, and the positive part of $U_q(\hat{sl_2})$. We describe the…
We classify twisted conjugacy classes in loop groups, restricted to classical groups. The main tool we used is the so-called D_q module, an object which is related to vector bundles over elliptic curves.
We calculate the first extension groups for finite-dimensional simple modules over an arbitrary generalized current Lie algebra, which includes the case of loop Lie algebras and their multivariable analogs.
This paper is part of a sequence interpreting quantities of conformal field theories K-theoretically. Here we give geometric constructions of the associated module categories (modular invariants, nimreps, etc). In particular, we give a KK-theory interpretation of all modular invariants for the loop groups of tori, as well as most known modular invariants of loop groups. In addition, we find unexpectedly that the Tambara-Yamagami fusion category has an elegant description as bundles over a groupoid, and use that to interpret its module categories as KK-elements. We establish reconstruction for …
The non-degenerate spherical principal series of quantum Harish-Chandra modules is constructed. These modules appear in the theory of quantum bounded symmertic domains.
We present a biequivariant version of Kremnizer-Tanisaki localization theorem for quantum D-modules. We also obtain an equivalence between a category of finitely generated equivariant modules over a quantum group and a category of finitely generated modules over a q-W algebra defined in arXiv:1011.2431. This equivalence can be regarded as an equivariant quantum group version of Skryabin equivalence. The biequivariant localization theorem for quantum D-modules together with the equivariant quantum group version of Skryabin equivalence yield an equivalence between a certain category of quantum b…
In the present paper, using the technique of localization, we determine the center of the quantum Schrödinger algebra $§_q$ and classify simple modules with finite-dimensional weight spaces over $§_q$, when $q$ is not a root of unity. It turns out that there are four classes of such modules: dense $U_q(\mathfrak{sl}_2)$-modules, highest weight modules, lowest weight modules, and twisted modules of highest weight modules.
We relate the Kauffman bracket stated skein modules to two independent constructions of quantum representation spaces of Habiro and Van der Veen with the second author. We deduce from this relation a description of the classical limit of stated skein modules, a quantum Van Kampen theorem and a quantum HNN extension theorem for stated skein modules and obtain a new description of the skein modules of mapping tori and links exteriors.
$\imath$quantum groups are generalizations of quantum groups which appear as coideal subalgebras of quantum groups in the theory of quantum symmetric pairs. In this paper, we define the notion of classical weight modules over an $\imath$quantum group, and study their properties along the lines of the representation theory of weight modules over a quantum group. In several cases, we classify the finite-dimensional irreducible classical weight modules by a highest weight theory.
This paper is a sequel (and contains a better treatment) of math.QA/0404032; We construct some canonical bases for quantum toroidal algebras of types D_4, E_6, E_7, E_8 using perverse sheaves on quot schemes parametrizing equivariant coherent sheaves on elliptic curves. We also study some compatibility properties of these bases with some natural filtrations and modules.
We prove a bijection between finite-dimensional irreducible modules for an arbitrary quantum affine algebra $U_q(g)$ and finite-dimensional irreducible modules for its Borel subalgebra $U_q(g)^{\geq 0}$.
There are various generalizations of bialgebras to their ''many object'' versions, such as quantum categories, bialgebroids and weak bialgebras. These can also be thought of as quantum analogues of small categories. In this paper we study modules over these structures, which are quantum analogues of profunctors (also called distributors) between small categories.
Let $G$ be the quantum $GL_n$ over a field of characteristic $p\neq 0$. In this paper we define the ring of twisted tilting modules of $G$. We give generators and relations for the ring of twisted tilting modules of quantum $GL_2(k)$. We also show that this is a reduced ring
We construct twisting functors for quantum group modules. First over the field $\mathbb{Q}(v)$ but later over any $\mathbb{Z} [v,v^{-1}]$-algebra. The main results in this paper are a rigerous definition of these functors, a proof that they satisfy braid relations and applications to Verma modules.
Let $\Oq(G)$ be the algebra of quantized functions on an algebraic group $G$ and $\Oq(B)$ its quotient algebra corresponding to a Borel subgroup $B$ of $G$. We define the category of sheaves on the "quantum flag variety of $G$" to be the $\Oq(B)$-equivariant $\Oq(G)$-modules and proves that this is a proj-category. We construct a category of equivariant quantum $\mathcal{D}$-modules on this quantized flag variety and prove the Beilinson-Bernsteins localization theorem for this category in the case when $q$ is not a root of unity.
We study monoidal categorifications of certain monoidal subcategories $\mathcal{C}_J$ of finite-dimensional modules over quantum affine algebras, whose cluster algebra structures coincide and arise from the category of finite-dimensional modules over quiver Hecke algebra of type A${}_\infty$. In particular, when the quantum affine algebra is of type A or B, the subcategory coincides with the monoidal category $\mathcal{C}_{\mathfrak{g}}^0$ introduced by Hernandez-Leclerc. As a consequence, the modules corresponding to cluster monomials are real simple modules over quantum affine algebras.
Assuming the existence of the perfect crystal bases of Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules over simply-laced quantum affine algebras, we construct certain perfect crystals for twisted quantum affine algebras, and also provide compelling evidence that the constructed crystals are isomorphic to the conjectural crystal bases of Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules over twisted quantum affine algebras.
This is the second part of the paper. Results of the first part about crossed modules are applied here to study of quantum groups in braided categories. Correct cross product in the class of quantum braided groups is built. Criterion when quantum braided group is cross product is otained.
Let g be an untwisted affine Kac-Moody algebra and M_J(lambda) a Verma-type module for g with J-highest integral weight lambda. We construct quantum Verma-type modules M_J^q(lambda) over the quantum group U_q(g), investigate their properties and show that M_J^q(lambda) is a true quantum deformation of M_J(ł) in the sense that the weight structure is preserved under the deformation. We also analyze the submodule structure of quantum Verma-type modules.
We give a path model for a level zero extremal weight module over a quantum affine algebra. By using this result, we prove a branching rule for an extremal weight module with respect to a Levi subalgebra. Furthermore, we also show a decomposition rule of Littelmann type for the concatenation of path models for an integrable highest weight module and a level zero extremal weight module in the case where the extremal weight is minuscule.
