We bosonize certain components of level $\ell$ $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)$-intertwiners of $(\ell + 1)$-dimensions. For $\ell = 2$, these intertwiners, after certain modification by bosonic vertex operators, are added to the algebra $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)$ at level 2 to construct all irreducible highest weight representations of level 1 for the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\hat{sp}_4)$.
(1) Utilizing a Braid group action on a completion of U_q(\hat{sl_{n+1}}), an algebra homomorphism from the toroidal algebra U_q(sl_{n+1,tor}) (n\ge 2) with fixed parameter to a completion of U_q(\hat{gl_{n+1}}) is obtained. (2) The toroidal actions by Saito induces a level 0 U'_q(\hat{sl_{n+1}}) action on level 1 integrable highest weight modules of U_q(\hat{sl_{n+1}}). Another level 0 U'_q(\hat{sl_{n+1}}) action is defined by Jimbo, et al., in the case n=1. Using the fact that the intertwiners of U_q(\hat{sl_{n+1}}) modules are intertwiners of toroidal modules for an appropriate comultiplica…
Reduction of the left regular representation of quantum algebra $sl_q(3)$ is studied and ~$q$-difference intertwining operators are constructed. The irreducible representations correspond to the spaces of local sections of certain line bundles over the q-flag manifold.
Quadratic relations of the intertwiners are given explicitly in two cases of chiral conformal field theory, and monomial bases of the representation spaces are constructed by using the Fourier components of the intertwiners. The two cases are the (p,p')-minimal series for the Virasoro algebra where 1<p'/p<2, and the level k integrable highest weight modules for the affine Lie algebra \hat{sl}_2.
We consider the extension of the Heisenberg vertex operator algebra by all its irreducible modules. We give an elementary construction for the intertwining vertex operators and show that they satisfy a complex parametrized generalized vertex operator algebra. We illustrate some of our results with the example of integral lattice vertex operator superalgebras.
We modify and give complete proofs for the results of Etingof-Schiffmann-Varchenko on traces of intertwiners of untwisted quantum affine algebras in the opposite coproduct and the standard grading. More precisely, we show that certain normalized generalized traces for $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{g}})$ solve four commuting systems of q-difference equations: the Macdonald-Ruijsenaars, dual Macdonald-Ruijsenaars, q-KZB, and dual q-KZB equations. In addition, we show a symmetry property for these renormalized trace functions. Our modifications are motivated by their appearance in recent work of the author…
Let $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)^{\geq 0}$ denote the Borel subalgebra of the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)$. We show that the following hold for any choice of scalars $ε_0, ε_1$ from the set ${1,-1}$. (i) Let $V$ be a finite-dimensional irreducible $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)^{\geq 0}$-module of type $(ε_0,ε_1)$. Then the action of $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)^{\geq 0}$ on $V$ extends uniquely to an action of $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)$ on $V$. The resulting $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)$-module structure on $V$ is irreducible and of type $(ε_0,ε_1)$. (ii) Let $V$ be a finite-dimensional irreducible $U_q(\hat{sl}_2)$-module of type $(ε_0,ε…
An action of the Yangian of the general Lie algebra gl(N) is defined on every irreducible integrable highest weight module of affine gl(N) with level greater than 1. This action is derived, by means of the Drinfeld duality and a subsequent semi-infinite limit, from a certain induced representation of the degenerate double affine Hecke algebra H. Each vacuum module of affine gl(N) is decomposed into irreducible Yangian subrepresentations by means of the intertwiners of H. Components of this decomposition are parameterized by semi-infinite skew Young diagrams.
We construct a bosonization of the quantum superalgebra $U_q(\hat{sl}(N|1))$ for an arbitrary level $k$. We construct the screening that commutes with the quantum superalgebra for an arbitrary level $k \neq -N+1$. We propose a bosonization of the vertex operator that gives the intertwiner among the Wakimoto realization and the typical representation.
We decompose the level-1 irreducible highest weight modules of the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\hat{sl}_n)$ with respect to the level-0 $U'_q (\hat{sl}_n)$--action defined in q-alg/9702024. The decomposition is parameterized by the skew Young diagrams of the border strip type.
We give a simple description of the natural bijection between the set of FLOTW bipartitions and the set of Uglov bipartitions (which generalizes the set of Kleshchev bipartitions). These bipartitions, which label the crystal graphs of irreducible $\mathcal{U}\_v({\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}\_e})$-modules of level two, naturally appear in the context of the modular representation theory of Hecke algebras of type $B\_n$.
An algebra homomorphism $ψ$ from the nonstandard q-deformed (cyclically symmetric) algebra $U_q(so_3)$ to the extension ${\hat U}_q(sl_2)$ of the Hopf algebra $U_q(sl_2)$ is constructed. Not all irreducible representations of $U_q(sl_2)$ can be extended to representations of ${\hat U}_q(sl_2)$. Composing the homomorphism $ψ$ with irreducible representations of ${\hat U}_q(sl_2)$ we obtain representations of $U_q(so_3)$. Not all of these representations of $U_q(so_3)$ are irreducible. Reducible representations of $U_q(so_3)$ are decomposed into irreducible components. In this way we obtain all …
A class of indecomposable representations of U_q(sl_n) is considered for q an even root of unity (q^h = -1) exhibiting a similar structure as (height h) indecomposable lowest weight Kac-Moody modules associated with a chiral conformal field theory. In particular, U_q(sl_n) counterparts of the Bernard-Felder BRS operators are constructed for n=2,3. For n=2 a pair of dual d_2(h) = h dimensional U_q(sl_2) modules gives rise to a 2h-dimensional indecomposable representation including those studied earlier in the context of tensor product expansions of irreducible representations. For n=3 the inter…
Bosonized q-vertex operators related to the 4-dimensional evaluation modules of the quantum affine superalgebra $U_q[\hat{sl(2|1)}]$ are constructed for arbitrary level $k=α$, where $α\neq 0, -1$ is a complex parameter appearing in the 4-dimensional evaluation representations. They are intertwiners among the level-$α$ highest weight Fock-Wakimoto modules. Screen currents which commute with the action of $U_q[\hat{sl(2|1)}]$ up to total differences are presented. Integral formulae for N-point functions of type I and type II q-vertex operators are proposed.
We classify the irreducible restricted modules for the affine Nappi-Witten Lie algebra $\hat{H}_{4}$ with some natural conditions. It turns out the representation theory of $\hat{H}_{4}$ is quite different from the theory of representations of Heisenberg algebras. We also study the extension of the vertex operator algebra $V_{\hat{H}_{4}}(\ell,0)$ by the even lattice $L$. We give the structure of the extension $V_{\hat{H}_{4}}(\ell,0)\otimes \C[L]$ and its irreducible modules via irreducible representations of $V_{\hat{H}_{4}}(\ell,0)$ viewed as a vertex algebra.
We consider a three-dimensional (3D) lattice model associated with the intertwiner of the quantized coordinate ring $A_q(sl_3)$, and introduce a family of layer to layer transfer matrices on $m\times n$ square lattice. By using the tetrahedron equation we derive their commutativity and bilinear relations mixing various boundary conditions. At $q=0$ and $m=n$, they lead to a new proof of the steady state probability of the $n$-species totally asymmetric zero range process obtained recently by the authors, revealing the 3D integrability in the matrix product construction.
BRST-resolution is studied for the principally graded Wakimoto module of {\hat sl_2} recently found in math.QA/0005203. The submodule structure is completely determined and irreducible representations can be obtained as the zero-th cohomology group.
The admissible modules for $\hat{sl}_2$ are studied from the point of view of vertex operator algebra. If $l$ is rational such that $l+2={p\over q}$ for some coprime positive integers $p\ge 2$ and $q$, Kac and Wakimoto found finitely many distinguished irreducible representations for $\hat{sl}_2$, called admissible representations. In this paper we prove that the vertex operator algebra $L(l,0)$ associated to irreducible highest weight representation of $l$ is not rational if $l$ is not a positive integer. However if we change the Virasoro algebra in certain way, $L(l,0)$ becomes a rational ve…
Using the fusion product of the representations of the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{sl}_2$ we construct a set of the integrable highest weight $\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}$-modules $L^D$, depending on the vector $D\in\mathbb{N}^{k+1}$. In a special cases of $D$ our modules are isomorphic to the irreducible $\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}$-modules $L_{i,k}$. We construct a basis of the $L^D$ and study the decomposition of $L^D$ on the irreducible components. We also write a formulas for the characters of $L^D$.
We determine the exchange relations of the level-one q-vertex operators of the quantum affine superalgebra $U_q[\hat{gl(N|N)}]$. We study in details the level-one irreducible highest weight representations of $U_q[\hat{gl(2|2)}]$, and compute the characters and supercharacters associated with these irreducible modules.
The decompositions of the Fock and Basic modules of the affine Lie algebra \hat{sl(N)} into irreducible submodules of the Yangian algebra Y(gl(N)) are constructed. Each of the irreducible submodules admits the unique up to normalization eigenbasis of the maximal commutative subalgebra of the Yangian. The elements of this eigenbasis are identified with specializations of Macdonald symmetric functions where both parameters of these functions approach an N-th primitive root of unity.
We construct by fusion product new irreducible representations of the quantum affinization $U_q(\hat{sl}_\infty)$. The action is defined via the Drinfeld coproduct and is related to the crystal structure of semi-standard tableaux of type $A_\infty$. We call these representations extremal loop weight modules. The main motivations are applications to quantum toroidal algebras $U_q(sl_{n+1}^{tor})$: we prove the conjectural link between $U_q(\hat{sl}_\infty)$ and $U_q(sl_{n+1}^{tor})$ stated in [14] for this family of representations. We recover in this way the extremal loop weight modules obtain…
An algebra homomorphism $ψ$ from the q-deformed algebra $U_q({\rm iso}_2)$ with generating elements $I$, $T_1$, $T_2$ and defining relations $[I,T_2]_q=T_1$, $[T_1,I]_q=T_2$, $[T_2,T_1]_q=0$ (where $[A,B]_q=q^{1/2}AB-q^{-1/2}BA$) to the extension ${\hat U}_q({\rm m}_2)$ of the Hopf algebra $U_q({\rm m}_2)$ is constructed. The algebra $U_q({\rm iso}_2)$ at $q=1$ leads to the Lie algebra ${\rm iso}_2 \sim {\rm m}_2$ of the group ISO(2) of motions of the Euclidean plane. The Hopf algebra $U_q({\rm m}_2)$ is treated as a Hopf $q$-deformation of the universal enveloping algebra of ${\rm iso}_2$ and…
In this paper, we continue the study on toroidal vertex algebras initiated in \cite{LTW}, to study concrete toroidal vertex algebras associated to toroidal Lie algebra $L_{r}(\hat{\frak{g}})=\hat{\frak{g}}\otimes L_r$, where $\hat{\frak{g}}$ is an untwisted affine Lie algebra and $L_r=$\mathbb{C}[t_{1}^{\pm 1},\ldots,t_{r}^{\pm 1}]$. We first construct an $(r+1)$-toroidal vertex algebra $V(T,0)$ and show that the category of restricted $L_{r}(\hat{\frak{g}})$-modules is canonically isomorphic to that of $V(T,0)$-modules.Let $c$ denote the standard central element of $\hat{\frak{g}}$ and set $S…
We study the level-one irreducible highest weight representations of $U_q[\hat{gl(1|1)}]$ and associated q-vertex operators. We obtain the exchange relations satisfied by the vertex operators. The characters and supercharacters associated with these irreducible representations are calculated.
We give a general construction for finite dimensional representations of $U_q(\hat{\G})$ where $\hat{\G}$ is a non-twisted affine Kac-Moody algebra with no derivation and zero central charge. At $q=1$ this is trivial because $U(\hat{\G})=U({\G})\otimes \C(x,x^{-1})$ with $\G$ a finite dimensional Lie algebra. But this fact no longer holds after quantum deformation. In most cases it is necessary to take the direct sum of several irreducible $U_q({\G})$-modules to form an irreducible $U_q(\hat{\G})$-module which becomes reducible at $q = 1$. We illustrate our technique by working out explicit ex…
We study the level-one irreducible highest weight representations of the quantum affine superalgebra $U_q[\hat{sl(N|1)}]$, and calculate their characters and supercharacters. We obtain bosonized q-vertex operators acting on the irreducible $U_q[\hat{sl(N|1)}]$-modules and derive the exchange relations satisfied by the vertex operators. We give the bosonization of the multi-component super $t-J$ model by using the bosonized vertex operators.
Using vertex operators, we construct explicitly Lusztig's $\mathbb Z[q, q^{-1}]$-lattice for the level one irreducible representations of quantum affine algebras of ADE type. We then realize the level one irreducible modules at roots of unity and show that the q-dimension is still given by the Weyl-Kac character formula. As a consequence we also answer the corresponding question of realizing the affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras of simply laced type at level one in finite characteristic.
In this paper, we re-examine certain integrable modules of Chari-Presslely for an (untwisted) affine Lie algebra $\hat{\g}$ by exploiting basic formal variable techniques. We define and study two categories ${\mathcal{E}}$ and ${\mathcal{C}}$ of $\hat{\g}$-modules using generating functions, where ${\mathcal{E}}$ includes evaluation modules and ${\mathcal{C}}$ unifies highest weight modules, evaluation modules and their tensor product modules, and we classify integrable irreducible $\hat{\g}$-modules in categories ${\mathcal{E}}$ and ${\mathcal{C}}$.
A level-one representation of the quantum affine superalgebra $\U_q(\hat{\frak{sl}}(M+1|N+1))$ and vertex operators associated with the fundamental representations are constructed in terms of free bosonic fields. Character formulas of level-one irreducible highest weight modules of $\U_q(\hat{\frak{sl}}(2|1))$ are conjectured.
In this paper we study an approximation of tensor product of irreducible integrable $\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}$ representations by infinite fusion products. This gives an approximation of the corresponding coset theories. As an application we represent characters of spaces of these theories as limits of certain restricted Kostka polynomials. This leads to the bosonic (which is known) and fermionic (which is new) formulas for the $\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}$ branching functions.
In [Kyushu J. Math. 64 (2010), 81-144, arXiv:0904.2889], it is discussed that a certain subalgebra of the quantum affine algebra $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_2)$ controls the second kind TD-algebra of type I (the degenerate $q$-Onsager algebra). The subalgebra, which we denote by $U'_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_2)$, is generated by $e_0^+$, $e_1^\pm$, $k_i^{\pm1}$ $(i=0,1)$ with $e^-_0$ missing from the Chevalley generators $e_i^\pm$, $k_i^{\pm1}$ $(i=0,1)$ of $U_q(\widehat{\mathfrak{sl}}_2)$. In this paper, we determine the finite-dimensional irreducible representations of $U'_q(\widehat{\mathf…
On the level-1 Fock space modules of the algebra $U_q(\hat{sl_n})$ we define a level-0 action $U_0$ of the $U_q(\hat{sl_n})$, and an action of an abelian algebra of conserved Hamiltonians commuting with the $U_0$. An irreducible decomposition of the Fock space with respect to the level-0 action is derived by constructing a base of the Fock space in terms of the Non-symmetric Macdonald Polynomials.
We introduce a class of induced representations of the degenerate double affine Hecke algebra of gl_N and analyze their structure mainly by means of intertwiners. We also construct them from modules of the affine Lie algebra using Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov connections in the conformal field theory. This construction provides a natural quotient of induced modules, which turns out to be the unique irreducible one under a certain condition. Some cunjectual formulas are presented for the symmetric part of these quotients.
Recently Varagnolo and Vasserot established that the q-deformed Fock spaces due to Hayashi, and Kashiwara, Miwa and Stern, admit actions of the quantum toroidal algebra $U_q(sl_n,tor)$ (n > 2) with the level (0,1). In the present article we propose a more detailed proof of this fact then the one given by Varagnolo and Vasserot. The proof is based on certain non-trivial properties of Cherednik's commuting difference operators. The quantum toroidal action on the Fock space depends on a certain parameter. We find that with a specific choice of this parameter the action on the Fock spaces gives ri…
Let $K$ denote a field and let $V$ denote a vector space over $K$ with finite positive dimension. By definition a Leonard pair on $V$ is a pair of linear transformations $A:V\to V$ and $A^*:V\to V$ that satisfy the following two conditions: (i) There exists a basis for $V$ with respect to which the matrix representing $A$ is irreducible tridiagonal and the matrix representing $A^*$ is diagonal. (ii) There exists a basis for $V$ with respect to which the matrix representing $A$ is diagonal and the matrix representing $A^*$ is irreducible tridiagonal. There is a correspondence between Leonard pa…
We give a fast algorithm for computing the canonical basis of an irreducible highest-weight module for $U_q(\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}_e)$, generalising the LLT algorithm.
For the Klein group $K$, $k\in\mathbb{Z}_{\geqslant 1}$ and $m\in\mathbb{Z}_{\geqslant 4}$, we study the representations of the orbifold vertex operator algebra $L_{\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}}(k,0)^{K}$ and the commutant vertex operator algebra of $L_{\hat{\mathfrak{so}_m}}(3,0)$ in $L_{\hat{\mathfrak{so}_m}}(1,0)^{\otimes 3}$ which can be realized as the orbifold vertex operator subalgebra $L_{\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}}(2m,0)^{K}$ or its extension. All the irreducible modules for $L_{\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_2}}(k,0)^{K}$ and $C_{{L_{\hat{\mathfrak{so}_m}}(1,0)}^{\otimes 3}}({L_{\hat{\mathfrak{so}_m}}(3,0)}…
A representation of the Birman-Wenzl-Murakami algebra BW_{t}(-q^{2n},q) exists in the centraliser algebra End_{U_q(osp(1|2n))}(V^{\otimes t}), where V is the fundamental (2n+1)-dimensional irreducible U_{q}(osp(1|2n))-module. This representation is defined using permuted R-matrices acting on V^{\otimes t}. A complete set of projections onto and intertwiners between irreducible U_{q}(osp(1|2n))-summands of V^{\otimes t} exists via this representation, proving that End_{U_q(osp(1|2n))}V^{\otimes t}) is generated by the set of permuting R-matrices acting on V^{\otimes t}. We also show that a repr…
We study a family of modules over Kac-Moody algebras realized in multi-valued functions on a flag manifold and find integral representations for intertwining operators acting on these modules. These intertwiners are related to some expressions involving complex powers of Lie algebra generators. When applied to affine Lie algebras, these expressions give integral formulas for correlation functions with values in not necessarily highest weight modules. We write related formulas out in an explicit form in the case of $\hat{\gtsl_{2}}$. The latter formulas admit q-deformation producing an integral…
We re-examine the level-one irreducible highest weight representations of the quantum affine superalgebra $U_q(\hat{sl}(2|1))$ and derive the characters and supercharacters associated with these representations. We calculate the exchange relations of the vertex operators and find that these vertex operators satisfy the graded Faddeev-Zamolodchikov algebra. We give an integral expression of the correlation functions of the q-deformed supersymmetric t-J model and derive the difference equations which they satisfy.
In the first part of the paper we give the denominator identity for all simple finite-dimensional Lie super algebras $\frak g\/$ with a non-degenerate invariant bilinear form. We give also a character and (super) dimension formulas for all finite-dimensional irreducible $\frak g\/$-modules of atypicality $\leq 1\/$ . In the second part of the paper we give the denominator identity for the affine superalgebras $\hat{\frak g}\/$ associated to $\frak g\/$. Specializations of this identity give almost all old and many new formulas for the number of representations of an integer as sums of squares …
A decomposition of the level-one $q$-deformed Fock representations of $\uqn$ is given. It is found that the action of $\upqn$ on these Fock spaces is centralized by a Heisenberg algebra, which arises from the center of the affine Hecke algebra $\widehat{H}_N$ in the limit $N \rightarrow \infty$. The $q$-deformed Fock space is shown to be isomorphic as a $\upqn$-Heisenberg-bimodule to the tensor product of a level-one irreducible highest weight representation of $\upqn$ and the Fock representation of the Heisenberg algebra. The isomorphism is used to decompose the $q$-wedging operators, which a…
Let $U_q(\hat{\cal G})$ be an infinite-dimensional quantum affine Lie algebra. A family of central elements or Casimir invariants are constructed and their eigenvalues computed in any integrable irreducible highest weight representation. These eigenvalue formulae are shown to absolutely convergent when the deformation parameter $q$ is such that $|q|>1$. It is proven that the universal R-matrix $R$ of $U_q(\hat{\cal G})$ satisfies the celebrated conjugation relation $R^\dagger=TR$ with $T$ the usual twist map. As applications, the braid generator is shown to be diagonalizable on arbitrary tenso…
The Lie superalgebra SD of regular differential operators on the super circle has a universal central extension \hat{SD}. For each c\in C, the vacuum module M_c(\hat{SD}) of central charge c admits a vertex superalgebra structure, and M_c(\hat{SD}) \cong M_{-c}(\hat{SD}). The irreducible quotient V_c(\hat{SD}) of the vacuum module is known as the super W_{1+\infty} algebra. We show that for each integer n>0, V_n(\hat{SD}) has a minimal strong generating set consisting of 4n fields, and we identify it with a W-algebra associated to the purely odd simple root system of gl(n|n). Finally, we reali…
In this paper, it is shown that the diagonal coset vertex operator algebra $C(L_{\mathfrak{g}}(k+2,0),L_{\mathfrak{g}}(k,0)\otimes L_{\mathfrak{g}}(2,0))$ is rational and $C_2$-cofinite in case $\mathfrak{g}=so(2n), n\geq 3$ and $k$ is an admissible number for $\hat{\mathfrak{g}}$. It is also shown that the diagonal coset vertex operator algebra $C(L_{sl_2}(k+4,0),L_{sl_2}(k,0)\otimes L_{sl_2}(4,0))$ is rational and $C_2$-cofinite in case $k$ is an admissible number for $\hat{sl_2}$. Furthermore, irreducible modules of $C(L_{sl_2}(k+4,0),L_{sl_2}(k,0)\otimes L_{sl_2}(4,0))$ are classified in c…
Representation theory of the quantum torus Hopf algebra, when the parameter $q$ is a root of unity, is studied. We investigate a decomposition map of the tensor product of two irreducibles into the direct sum of irreducibles, realized as a `multiplicity module' tensored with an irreducible representation. The isomorphism between the two possible decompositions of the triple tensor product yields a map ${\bf T}$ between the multiplicity modules, called the 6j-symbols. We study the left and right dual representations, and correspondingly, the left and right representations on the ${\rm Hom}$ spa…
We show that there are precisely two, up to conjugation, anti-involutions sigma_{\pm} of the algebra of differential operators on the circle preserving the principal gradation. We classify the irreducible quasifinite highest weight representations of the central extension \hat{D}^{\pm} of the Lie subalgebra of this algebra fixed by - sigma_{\pm}, and find the unitary ones. We realize them in terms of highest weight representations of the central extension of the Lie algebra of infinite matrices with finitely many non-zero diagonals over the truncated polynomial algebra C[u] / (u^{m+1}) and its…
We propose a new realization of the elliptic quantum group equipped with the H-Hopf algebroid structure on the basis of the elliptic algebra U_{q,p}(\hat{sl}_2). The algebra U_{q,p}(\hat{sl}_2) has a constructive definition in terms of the Drinfeld generators of the quantum affine algebra U_q(\hat{sl}_2) and a Heisenberg algebra. This yields a systematic construction of both finite and infinite-dimensional dynamical representations and their parallel structures to U_q(\hat{sl}_2). In particular we give a classification theorem of the finite-dimensional irreducible pseudo-highest weight represe…
The following integrability theorem for vertex operator algebras V satisfying some finiteness conditions(C_2-cofinite and CFT-type) is proved: the vertex operator subalgebra generated by a simple Lie subalgebra {\frak g} of the weight one subspace V_1 is isomorphic to the irreducible highest weight \hat{\frak g}-module L(k, 0) for a positive integer k, and V is an integrable \hat{\frak g}-module. The case in which {\frak g} is replaced by an abelian Lie subalgebra is also considered, and several consequences of integrability are discussed.
Let $U_q(\hat{\cal G})$ be a quantized affine Lie algebra. It is proven that the universal R-matrix $R$ of $U_q(\hat{\cal G})$ satisfies the celebrated conjugation relation $R^\dagger=TR$ with $T$ the usual twist map. As applications, braid generators are shown to be diagonalizable on arbitrary tensor product modules of integrable irreducible highest weight $U_q(\hat{\cal G})$-module and a spectral decomposition formula for the braid generators is obtained which is the generalization of Reshetikhin's and Gould's forms to the present affine case. Casimir invariants are constructed and their eig…
Recently B. Hartwig and the second author found a presentation for the three-point $sl_2$ loop algebra via generators and relations. To obtain this presentation they defined an algebra $\boxtimes$ by generators and relations, and displayed an isomorphism from $\boxtimes$ to the three-point $sl_2$ loop algebra. We introduce a quantum analog of $\boxtimes$ which we call $\boxtimes_q$. We define $\boxtimes_q$ via generators and relations. We show how $\boxtimes_q$ is related to the quantum group $U_q(sl_2)$, the $U_q(sl_2)$ loop algebra, and the positive part of $U_q(\hat{sl_2})$. We describe the…
We establish a bijective correspondence between gauge equivalence classes of dynamical twists in a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra $H$ based on a finite abelian group $A$ and equivalence classes of pairs $(K, \{V_λ\}_{λ\in \hat{A}})$, where $K$ is an $H$-simple left $H$-comodule semisimple algebra and $\{V_λ\}_{λ\in \hat{A}}$ is a family of irreducible representations satisfying certain conditions. Our results generalize the results obtained by Etingof-Nikshych on the classification of dynamical twists in group algebras.
We show that the different labelings of the crystal graph for irreducible highest weight $\mathcal{U}\_q (\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}\_e)$-modules lead to different labelings of the simple modules for non semisimple Ariki-Koike algebras by using Lusztig $a$-values.
We introduce a class of cellular automata associated with crystals of irreducible finite dimensional representations of quantum affine algebras U'_q(\hat{\geh}_n). They have solitons labeled by crystals of the smaller algebra U'_q(\hat{\geh}_{n-1}). We prove stable propagation of one soliton for \hat{\geh}_n = A^{(2)}_{2n-1}, A^{(2)}_{2n}, B^{(1)}_n, C^{(1)}_n, D^{(1)}_n and D^{(2)}_{n+1}. For \gh_n = C^{(1)}_n, we also prove that the scattering matrices of two solitons coincide with the combinatorial R matrices of U'_q(C^{(1)}_{n-1})-crystals.
The generators $(J_{\pm}, J_0)$ of the algebra $U_q(sl(2))$ is our starting point. An invertible nonlinear map involving, apart from q, a second arbitrary complex parameter h, defines a triplet $({\hat X},{\hat Y},{\hat H})$. The latter set forms a closed algebra under commutation relations. The nonlinear algebra $U_{q,h}(sl(2))$, thus generated, has two different limits. For $q \to 1$, the Jordanian h-deformation $U_{h}(sl(2))$ is obtained. For $h \to 0$, the q-deformed algebra $U_{q}(sl(2))$ is reproduced. From the nonlinear map, the irreducible representations of the doubly-deformed algebra…
Let $U_q(\hat{\cal G})$ denote the quantized affine Lie algebra and $U_q({\cal G}^{(1)})$ the quantized {\em nontwisted} affine Lie algebra. Let ${\cal O}_{\rm fin}$ be the category defined in section 3. We show that when the deformation parameter $q$ is not a root of unit all integrable representations of $U_q(\hat{\cal G})$ in the category ${\cal O}_{\rm fin}$ are completely reducible and that every integrable irreducible highest weight module over $U_q({\cal G}^{(1)})$ corresponding to $q>0$ is equivalent to a unitary module.
We present a vertex operator algebra which is an extension of the level $k$ vertex operator algebra for the $\hat{sl}_2$ conformal field theory. We construct monomial basis of its irreducible representations.
We give a simple characterization of the highest weight vertices in the crystal graph of the level l Fock spaces. This characterization is based on the notion of totally periodic symbols viewed as affine analogues of reverse lattice words classically used in the decomposition of tensor products of fundamental $\mathfrak{sl}_{n}$-modules. This yields a combinatorial decomposition of the Fock spaces in their irreducible components and the branching law for the restriction of the irreducible highest weight $\mathfrak{sl}_{\infty}$-modules to $\hat{\mathfrak{sl}_{e}}$.
We study a class of representations called ``calibrated representations'' of the degenerate double affine Hecke algebra and those of the rational Cherednik algebra of type ${\mathrm{GL}}_n$. We give a realization of calibrated irreducible modules as spaces of coinvariants constructed from integrable modules over the affine Lie algebra $\hat{\mathfrak{gl}}_m$. Moreover, we give a character formula of these irreducible modules in terms of a level-restricted Kostka polynomials. These results were conjectured by Arakawa, Suzuki and Tsuchiya based on the conformal field theory. The proofs using rec…
