Generalized quantum statistics such as para-Fermi statistics is characterized by certain triple relations which, in the case of para-Fermi statistics, are related to the orthogonal Lie algebra B_n=so(2n+1). In this paper, we give a quite general definition of ``a generalized quantum statistics associated to a classical Lie algebra G''. This definition is closely related to a certain Z-grading of G. The generalized quantum statistics is then determined by a set of root vectors (the creation and annihilation operators of the statistics) and the set of algebraic relations for these operators. Then we give a complete classification of all generalized quantum statistics associated to the classical Lie algebras A_n, B_n, C_n and D_n. In the classification, several new classes of generalized quantum statistics are described.
The generalized vector is defined on an $n$ dimensional manifold. Interior product, Lie derivative acting on generalized $p$-forms, $-1\le p\le n$ are introduced. Generalized commutator of two generalized vectors are defined. Adding a correction term to Cartan's formula the generalized Lie derivative's action on a generalized vector field is defined. We explore various identities of the generalized Lie derivative with respect to generalized vector fields, and discuss an application.
In this paper we introduce the notion of generalized Lie algebroid and we develop a new formalism necessary to obtain a new solution for the Weistein's Problem. Many applications emphasize the importance and the utility of this new framework determined by the introduction of generalized Lie algebroids.
Generalized quantum statistics (GQS) associated to a Lie algebra or Lie superalgebra extends the notion of para-Bose or para-Fermi statistics. Such GQS have been classified for all classical simple Lie algebras and basic classical Lie superalgebras. In the current paper we finalize this classification for all exceptional Lie algebras and superalgebras. Since the definition of GQS is closely related to a certain Z-grading of the Lie (super)algebra G, our classification reproduces some known Z-gradings of exceptional Lie algebras. For exceptional Lie superalgebras such a classification of Z-grad…
We investigate generalized derivations of $n$-BiHom-Lie algebras. We introduce and study properties of derivations, $( α^{s},β^{r}) $-derivations and generalized derivations. We also study quasiderivations of $n$-BiHom-Lie algebras. Generalized derivations of $(n+1)$-BiHom-Lie algebras induced by $ n $-BiHom-Lie algebras are also considered.
Generalized quantum statistics such as para-statistics is usually characterized by certain triple relations. In the case of para-Fermi statistics these relations can be associated with the orthogonal Lie algebra B_n=so(2n+1); in the case of para-Bose statistics they are associated with the Lie superalgebra B(0|n)=osp(1|2n). In a previous paper, a mathematical definition of ``a generalized quantum statistics associated with a classical Lie algebra G'' was given, and a complete classification was obtained. Here, we consider the definition of ``a generalized quantum statistics associated with a b…
In this paper, some of formulations of Hamilton-Jacobi equations for Hamiltonian system on Lie algebroids are given. Here we use the general properties of Lie algebroids to express and prove two geometric version of the Hamilton-Jacobi theorem for Hamiltonian system on Lie algebroids. Then this results are generalized and two types of time-dependent Hamilton-Jacobi theorem of Hamiltonian system on Lie algebroids are obtained.
In this paper, we introduce the definition of generalized BiHom-Lie algebras and generalized BiHom-Lie admissible algebras in the category ${}_H{\mathcal M}$ of left modules for any quasitriangular Hopf algebra $(H, R) $. Also, we describe the BiHom-Lie ideal structures of the BiHom-associative algebras.
A Lie superalgebra endowed with a supersymmetric, even, non-degenerate, invariant bilinear form is called a quadratic Lie superalgebra. In this paper we give inductive descriptions of quadratic Lie superalgebras in terms of generalized double extensions.
We describe the definition of Jacobi (generalized)-Lie bialgebras $(({\bf{g}},ϕ_{0}),({\bf{g}}^{*},X_{0}))$ in terms of structure constants of the Lie algebras ${\bf{g}}$ and ${\bf{g}}^{*}$ and components of their 1-cocycles $X_{0}\in {\bf{g}}$ and $ϕ_{0}\in {\bf{g}}^{*}$ in the basis of the Lie algebras. Then, using adjoint representations and automorphism Lie groups of Lie algebras, we give a method for classification of real low dimensional Jacobi-Lie bialgebras. In this way, we obtain and classify real two and three dimensional Jacobi-Lie bialgebras.
We will prove that the generalized Lie algebroid is a distinguished example by Lie algebroid. The generality of it with respect to the Lie algebroid is similar with the generality of the pull-back vector bundle with respect to the vector bundle. Next, we will prove that the proof of Theorem 3.1 from [15] is a misconception and the mentioned Theorem has no validity. Finally, we anatomize an optimal control problem solvable in the generalized Lie algebroid framework whereas Lie algebroid instrumentation can not solve it.
An alternative proof of the duality of generalized Lie bialgebroid is given and proved a canonical Jacobi structure can be defined on the base of it. We also introduce the notion of morphism between generalized Lie bialgebroids and proved that the induced Jacobi structure is unique upto a morphism.
It is known that the topological T-duality exchanges $H$ and $F$-fluxes. In this paper, we reformulate the topological T-duality as an exchange of two Lie algebroids in the generalized tangent bundle. Then, we apply the same formulation to the Poisson-generalized geometry, which is introduced in arXiv:1408.2649 to define $R$-fluxes as field strength associated with $β$-transformations. We propose a definition of $Q$-flux associated with $β$-diffeomorphisms, and show that the topological T-duality exchanges $R$ and $Q$-fluxes.
In this paper, Lie bialgebra structures on generalized Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra $\mathfrak{L}$ are considered. Also, $H^1({\mathfrak{L}} ,\mathfrak{L}\bigotimes\mathfrak{L})$ is given explicitly. Moreover, it is proved that all Lie bialgebra structure on centerless generalized Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra $\bar{\mathfrak{L}}$ are coboundary triangular.
In the present paper, we define the new class of representation on $n$-Lie algebra that is called as generalized representation. We study the cohomology theory corresponding to generalized representations of $n$-Lie algebras and show its relation with the cohomology corresponding to the usual representations. Furthermore, we provide the computation for the low dimensional cocycles.
The symmetry analysis of Ermakov systems is extended to the generalized case where the frequency depends on the dynamical variables besides time. In this extended framework, a whole class of nonlinearly coupled oscillators are viewed as Hamiltonian Ermakov system and exactly solved in closed form.
Generalized quantum statistics, such as paraboson and parafermion statistics, are characterized by triple relations which are related to Lie (super)algebras of type B. The correspondence of the Fock spaces of parabosons, parafermions as well as the Fock space of a system of parafermions and parabosons to irreducible representations of (super)algebras of type B will be pointed out. Example of generalized quantum statistics connected to the basic classical Lie superalgebra B(1|1)=osp(3|2) with interesting physical properties, such as noncommutative coordinates, will be given. Therefore the artic…
In this paper, we developed an algebraic formulation for the generalized thermal coherent states with a Thermofield Dynamics approach for multi-modes, based on coset space of Lie groups. In particular, we applied our construction on $SU(2)$ and $SU(1,1)$ symmetries and we obtain their thermal coherent states and density operator. We also calculate their thermal quantum Fidelity and thermal Wigner function.
A generalized Euler parameterization of a compact Lie group is a way for parameterizing the group starting from a maximal Lie subgroup, which allows a simple characterization of the range of parameters. In the present paper we consider the class of all compact connected Lie groups. We present a general method for realizing their generalized Euler parameterization starting from any symmetrically embedded Lie group. Our construction is based on a detailed analysis of the geometry of these groups. As a byproduct this gives rise to an interesting connection with certain Dyson integrals. In particu…
We look at generalized complex structures from the point of view of Poisson and Dirac geometry and we remark that the puzzling equations underlying the notion of generalized complex structure have miraculously simple meaning when passing to Lie algebroids/groupoids.
Generalized Lie-Cartan theorem for linear birepresentations of an analytic Moufang loop is considered. The commutation relations of the generators of the birepresentation were found. In particular, the Lie algebra of the multiplication group of the birepresentation is explicitly given.
The propose of this paper is to extend generalized representations of 3-Lie algebras to Hom-type algebras. We introduce the concept of generalized representation of multiplicative 3-Hom-Lie algebras, develop the corresponding cohomology theory and study semi-direct products. We provide a key construction, various examples and computation of 2-cocycles of the new cohomology. Also, we give a connection between a split abelian extension of a 3-Hom-Lie algebra and a generalized semidirect product 3-Hom-Lie algebra.
The generalized Lie symmetries of almost regular Lagrangians are studied, and their impact on the evolution of dynamical systems is determined. It is found that if the action has a generalized Lie symmetry, then the Lagrangian is necessarily singular; the converse is not true, as we show with a specific example. It is also found that the generalized Lie symmetry of the action is a Lie subgroup of the generalized Lie symmetry of the Euler-Lagrange equations of motion. The converse is once again not true, and there are systems for which the Euler-Lagrange equations of motion have a generalized L…
We finish the determination of the invariants of the coadjoint representation of six dimensional real Lie algebras, by determining a fundamental set of invariants for the 99 isomorphism classes of solvable Lie algebras with five dimensional nilradical. We also give some results on the invariants of solvable Lie algebras in arbitrary dimension whose nilradical has codimension one.
We introduce the conception of matched pairs of $(H, β)$-Lie algebras, construct an $(H, β)$-Lie algebra through them. We prove that the cocycle twist of a matched pair of $(H, β)$-Lie algebras can also be matched.
In this paper, first we introduce the notion of a twilled 3-Lie algebra, and construct an $L_\infty$-algebra, whose Maurer-Cartan elements give rise to new twilled 3-Lie algebras by twisting. In particular, we recover the Lie $3$-algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are O-operators (also called relative Rota-Baxter operators) on 3-Lie algebras. Then we introduce the notion of generalized matched pairs of 3-Lie algebras using generalized representations of 3-Lie algebras, which will give rise to twilled 3-Lie algebras. The usual matched pairs of 3-Lie algebras correspond to a special class of t…
In this paper we study the local description of spaces of forms on transitive Lie algebroids. We use this local description to introduce global structures like metrics, $\ast$-Hodge operation and integration along the algebraic part of the transitive Lie algebroid (its kernel). We construct a Čech-de Rham bicomplex with a Leray-Serre spectral sequence. We apply the general theory to Atiyah Lie algebroids and to derivations on a vector bundle.
The continuous Moufang loops are characterized as the algebraic systems where the associativity law is perturbed minimally. The minimal perturbation of associativity is characterized by the first- order partial differential equations, which in a natural way generalize the Lie and Maurer-Cartan equations from the theory of Lie groups.
The aim of this paper is to generalise the construction of $n$-ary Hom-Lie bracket by means of an $(n-2)$-cochain of given Hom-Lie algebra to super case inducing a $n$-Hom-Lie superalgebras. We study the notion of generalized derivation and Rota-Baxter operators of $n$-ary Hom-Nambu and $n$-Hom-Lie superalgebras and their relation with generalized derivation and Rota-Baxter operators of Hom-Lie superalgebras. We also introduce the notion of $3$-Hom-pre-Lie superalgebras which is the generalization of $3$-Hom-pre-Lie algebras.
We endow the group of automorphisms of an exact Courant algebroid over a compact manifold with an infinite dimensional Lie group structure modelled on the inverse limit of Hilbert spaces (ILH). We prove a slice theorem for the action of this Lie group on the space of generalized metrics. As an application, we show that the moduli space of generalized metrics is stratified by ILH submanifolds and relate it to the moduli space of usual metrics. Finally, we extend these results to odd exact Courant algebroids.
In a recent paper by Zhao and the author, the Lie algebras $A[D]=A\otimes F[D]$ of Weyl type were defined and studied, where $A$ is a commutative associative algebra with an identity element over a field $F$ of any characteristic, and $F[D]$ is the polynomial algebra of a commutative derivation subalgebra $D$ of $A$. In the present paper, the 2-cocycles of a class of the above Lie algebras $A[D]$ (which are called the Lie algebras of generalized differential operators in the present paper), with $F$ being a field of characteristic 0, are determined. Among all the 2-cocycles, there is a special…
We perform a complete study by using the theory of invariant point transformations and the singularity analysis for the generalized Camassa-Holm equation and the generalized Benjamin-Bono-Mahoney equation. From the Lie theory we find that the two equations are invariant under the same three-dimensional Lie algebra which is the same Lie algebra admitted by the Camassa-Holm equation. We determine the one-dimensional optimal system for the admitted Lie symmetries and we perform a complete classification of the similarity solutions for the two equations of our study. The reduced equations are stud…
In this paper, we introduce the notion of generalized representation of a $3$-Lie algebra, by which we obtain a generalized semidirect product $3$-Lie algebra. Moreover, we develop the corresponding cohomology theory. Various examples of generalized representations of 3-Lie algebras and computation of 2-cocycles of the new cohomology are provided. Also, we show that a split abelian extension of a 3-Lie algebra is isomorphic to a generalized semidirect product $3$-Lie algebra. Furthermore, we describe general abelian extensions of 3-Lie algebras using Maurer-Cartan elements.
We perform a detailed classification of the Lie point symmetries and of the resulting similarity transformations for the Generalized Boiti-Leon-Pempinelli equations. The latter equations for a system of two nonlinear 1+2 partial differential equations of second- and third-order. The nonlinear equations depend of two parameters, namely $n$ and $m$, from where we find that for various values of these two parameters the resulting systems admit different number of Lie point symmetries. For every case, we present the complete analysis for the admitted Lie group as also we determine all the possible…
We classify the Lie point symmetries for the 2+1 nonlinear generalized Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation by determine all the possible f(u) functional forms where the latter depends. For each case the one-dimensional optimal system is derived; a necessary analysis to find all the possible similarity transformations which simplify the equation. We demonstrate our results by constructing static and travel-wave similarity solutions. In particular the latter solutions satisfy a second-order nonlinear ordinary differential equation which can be solved by quadratures.
Generalized derivations, quasiderivations and quasicentroid of $3$-algebras are introduced, and basic relations between them are studied. Structures of quasiderivations and quasicentroid of $3$-Lie algebras, which contains a maximal diagonalized tours, are systematically investigated. The main results are: for all $3$-Lie algebra $A$, 1) the generalized derivation algebra $GDer(A)$ is the sum of quasiderivation algebra $QDer(A)$ and quasicentroid $QΓ(A)$; 2) quasiderivations of $A$ can be embedded as derivations in a larger algebra; 3) quasiderivation algebra $QDer(A)$ normalizer quasicentroid…
There exist several approaches exploiting Lie symmetries in the reduction of boundary-value problems for partial differential equations modelling real-world phenomena to those problems for ordinary differential equations. Using an example of generalized Burgers equations appearing in nonlinear acoustics we show that that the "direct" procedure of solving boundary-value problems using Lie symmetries firstly described by Bluman is more general and straightforward than the method suggested by Moran and Gaggioli in [J. Eng. Math. 3 (1969), 151-162]. After the group classification of a class of gen…
A solution for the Weinstein's Problem in the general framework of generalized Lie algebroids is the target of this paper. We present the mechanical systems called by use, mechanical (?; ?)-systems, Lagrange mechanical (?; ?)-systems or Finsler mechanical (?; ?)-systems and we develop their geometries. We obtain the canonical (?; ?)-semi(spray) associated to a mechanical (?; ?)-system. The Lagrange mechanical (?; ?)-systems are the spaces necessary to develop a Lagrangian formalism. We obtain the (?; ?)-semispray associated to a regular Lagrangian L and external force Fe and we derive the equa…
Essentially generalizing Lie's results, we prove that the contact equivalence groupoid of a class of (1+1)-dimensional generalized nonlinear Klein-Gordon equations is the first-order prolongation of its point equivalence groupoid, and then we carry out the complete group classification of this class. Since it is normalized, the algebraic method of group classification is naturally applied here. Using the specific structure of the equivalence group of the class, we essentially employ the classical Lie theorem on realizations of Lie algebras by vector fields on the line. This approach allows us …
Orthogonal projections in ${\mathbb C}^n \otimes {\mathbb C}^n$ of rank one and rank two that give rise to unitary tensor space representations of the Temperley-Lieb algebra $TL_N(Q)$ are considered. In the rank one case, a complete classification of solutions is given. In the rank two case, solutions with $Q$ varying in the ranges $[2n/3,\infty)$ and $[n/\sqrt{2},\infty)$ are constructed for $n=3k$ and $n=4k$, $k \in {\mathbb N}$, respectively.
The nonlinear generalized Chen-Lee-Liu 1+1 evolution equation which describes the propagation of an optical pulse inside a monomode fiber is studied by using the method of Lie symmetries and the singularity analysis. Specifically, we determine the Lie point symmetries of the Chen-Lee-Liu equation and we reduce the equation by using the Lie invariants in order to determine similarity solutions. The solutions that we found have periodic behaviour and describe optical solitons. Furthermore, the singularity analysis is applied in order to write algebraic solutions of the Chen-Lee-Liu with the use …
