In this paper, we introduce the definition of generalized BiHom-Lie algebras and generalized BiHom-Lie admissible algebras in the category ${}_H{\mathcal M}$ of left modules for any quasitriangular Hopf algebra $(H, R) $.
Also, we describe the BiHom-Lie ideal structures of the BiHom-associative algebras.
We investigate generalized derivations of $n$-BiHom-Lie algebras. We introduce and study properties of derivations, $( α^{s},β^{r}) $-derivations and generalized derivations. We also study quasiderivations of $n$-BiHom-Lie algebras. Generalized derivations of $(n+1)$-BiHom-Lie algebras induced by $ n $-BiHom-Lie algebras are also considered.
The aim of this paper is to introduce $n$-ary BiHom-algebras, generalizing BiHom-algebras. We introduce an alternative concept of BiHom-Lie algebra called BiHom-Lie-Leibniz algebra and study various type of $n$-ary BiHom-Lie algebras and BiHom-associative algebras. We show that $n$-ary BiHom-Lie-Leibniz algebra can be represented by BiHom-Lie-Leibniz algebra through fundamental objets. Moreover, we provide some key constructions and study $n$-ary BiHom-Lie algebras induced by $(n-1)$-ary BiHom-Lie algebras.
The purpose of this paper is to study the relationships between a BiHom-Lie superalgebras and its induced 3-BiHom-Lie superalgebras. We introduce the notion of $(α^s,β^r)$-derivation, $(α^s,β^r)$-quasiderivation and generalized $(α^s,β^r)$-derivation of 3-BiHom-Lie superalgebras, and their relation with derivation of BiHom-Lie superalgebras. We introduce also the concepts of Rota-Baxter operators and Nijenhuis Operators of BiHom $3$-Lie superalgebras. We also explore the construction of $3$-BiHom-Lie superalgebras by using Rota-Baxter of BiHom-Lie superalgebras.
Throughout this paper, we will study Rota-Baxter operators and super O-operator of associative BiHom superalgebras, BiHom Lie superalgebras, BiHom pre-Lie superalgebras and BiHom-L-dendriform superalgebras. Then we give some properties of BiHom pre-Lie superalgebras constructed from associative BiHom superalgebras, BiHom Lie superalgebras and BiHom-L-dendriform superalgebras. As applications, we study the theory of cohomology groups of BiHom-pre-Lie superalgebras.
The purpose of this paper is to study the construction of $3$-Bihom-Lie algebras. We give some ways of constructing $3$-Bihom-Lie algebras from $3$-Bihom-Lie algebras and $3$-totally Bihom-associative algebras. Furthermore, we introduce $T_θ$-extensions and $T_θ^*$-extensions of $3$-Bihom-Lie algebras and prove the necessary and sufficient conditions for a $2n$-dimensional quadratic $3$-Bihom-Lie algebra to be isomorphic to a $T_θ^*$-extension.
The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of BiHom-Lie superalgebras. This class of algebras is a generalization of both BiHom-Lie algebras and Hom-Lie superalgebras. In this article, we first present two ways to construct BiHom-Lie superalgebras from BiHom-associative superalgebras and Hom-Lie superalgebras by Yau's twist principle. Also, we explore some general classes of BiHom-Lie admissible superalgebras and describe all these classes via $G$-BiHom-associative superalgebras, where $G$ is a subgroup of the symmetric group $S_{3}$. Finally, we discuss the concept of $β^{k}$-derivation…
In this paper, we classify flnite dimensional multiplicative simple BiHom-Lie algebras by investigating the corresponding semisimple Lie algebras and we give a complete classification of the complex 3-dimensional multiplicative BiHom-Lie algebras.
In this paper, we introduce the notion of split extension of BiHom- Lie algebra and construct the corresponding cohomology. Also, we establish a one-to-one correspondence between the equivalence classes of extensions of a BiHom-Lie algebra L by an abelian BiHom-Lie algebra V and its second cohomology group.
The aim of this paper is introduce and give some constructions results and examples of n-BiHom-Lie color algebras. Next, we introduce the definition of BiHom-modules over n- BiHom-Lie color algebras and we provide some properties. Moreover we investigate generalized derivations of n-BiHom-Lie color algebras and their BiHom-subalgebras.
This paper defines compatible BiHom-Lie algebras by twisting the compatible Lie algebras by two linear commuting maps. We show the characterization of compatible BiHom-Lie algebra as a Maurer-Cartan element in a suitable bidifferential graded Lie algebra. We also define a cohomology theory for compatible BiHom-Lie algebras.
In this paper, we generalize the results about generalized derivations of Lie algebras to the case of BiHom-Lie algebras. In particular we give the classification of generalized derivations of Heisenberg BiHom-Lie algebras. The definition of the generalized derivation depends on some parameters $ (λ,μ,γ)\in \mathbb{C}^{3}. $ In particular for $(λ,μ,γ)=(1,1,1)$, we obtain classical concept of derivation of BiHom-Lie algebra and for $(λ,μ,γ)=(1,1,0) $ we obtain the centroid of BiHom-Lie algebra. We give classifications of $ 2 $-dimensional BiHom-Lie algebra, centroides and derivations of $ 2 $-d…
A BiHom-associative algebra is a (nonassociative) algebra $A$ endowed with two commuting multiplicative linear maps $α,β\colon A\rightarrow A$ such that $α(a)(bc)=(ab)β(c)$, for all $a, b, c\in A$. This concept arose in the study of algebras in so-called group Hom-categories. In this paper, we introduce as well BiHom-Lie algebras (also by using the categorical approach) and BiHom-bialgebras. We discuss these new structures by presenting some basic properties and constructions (representations, twisted tensor products, smash products etc).
In this paper, we introduce the notion of a BiHom-Lie conformal algebra and develop its cohomology theory. Also, we discuss some applications to the study of deformations of regular BiHom-Lie conformal algebras. Finally, we introduce derivations of multiplicative BiHom-Lie conformal algebras and study their properties.
In this paper we define and discuss the representations of $n$-BiHom-Lie algebra. We also introduce $T_θ$-extensions and $T_θ^{\ast}$-extensions of $n$-BiHom-Lie algebras and prove the necessary and sufficient conditions for a $2m$-dimensional quadratic $n$-Bihom-Lie algebra to be isomorphic to a $T_θ^{\ast}$-extension. Moreover, we develop the one-parameter formal deformations of $n$-BiHom-Lie algebras, and we proved that the first and second cohomology groups are suitable to the deformation theory involving infinitesimals, equivalent deformations, and rigidity
The main goal of this paper is to give some construction results of BiHom-post-Lie algebras which are a generalization of both post-Lie-algebras and Hom-post-Lie algebras. They are the algebraic structures behind the $\mathcal{O}$-operator of BiHom-Lie algebras. They can be also regarded as the splitting into three parts of the structure of a BiHom-Lie-algebra. Moreover we develop the representation theory of BiHom-post-Lie algebras on a vector space $V$. We show that there is naturally an induced representation of its sub-adjacent Lie algebra.
The aim of this paper is to generalise the construction of $3$-Bihom-Lie superalgebras and we provide some properties can be lifted to its $T^{\ast}$-extensions such as nilpotency, solvability and decomposition. We study the representations, $T_θ$-extensions and $T^{\ast}_θ$-extension of $3$-Bihom-Lie superalgebras and prove the necessary and sufficient conditions for a $2n$-dimensional quadratic $3$-Bihom-Lie superalgebra to be isomorphic to a $T^{\ast}_θ$-extension.
In this paper, we first introduce the notion of a product structure on a $3$-Bihom-Lie algebra which is a Nijenhuis operator with some conditions. And we provide that a $3$-Bihom-Lie algebra has a product structure if and only if it is the direct sum of two vector spaces which are also Bihom subalgebras. Then we give four special conditions such that each of them can make the $3$-Bihom-Lie algebra has a special decomposition. Similarly, we introduce the definition of a complex structure on a $3$-Bihom-Lie algebra and there are also four types special complex structures. Finally, we show that t…
In this paper, we introduce the notion of BiHom-Lie conformal superalgebras. We develop its representation theory and define the cohomology group with coefficients in a module. Finally, we introduce conformal derivations of BiHom-Lie conformal superalgebras and study some of their properties.
BiHom-Lie Colour algebra is a generalized Hom-Lie Colour algebra endowed with two commuting multiplicative linear maps. The main purpose of this paper is to define representations and a cohomology of BiHom-Lie colour algebras and to study some key constructions and properties. Moreover, we discuss $α^{k}β^l$-generalized derivations, $α^{k}β^l$-quasi-derivations and $α^{k}β^l$-quasi-centroid. We provide some properties and their relationships with BiHom-Jordan colour algebra.
In this paper, we introduce the concept of transposed BiHom-Poisson (abbr. TBP) algebras which can be constructed by the BiHom-Novikov-Poisson algebras. Several useful identities for TBP algebras are provided. We also prove that the tensor product of two (T)BP algebras are closed. The notions of BP 3-Lie algebras and TBP 3-Lie algebras are presented and TBP algebras can induce TBP 3-Lie algebras by two approaches. Finally, we give some examples for the TBP algebras of dimension 2.
BiHom-Novikov agebra is a generalized Hom-Novikov algebra endowed with two commuting multiplicative linear maps. The main purpose of this paper is to show that two classes of BiHom-Novikov algebras can be constructed from BiHom-commutative algebras together with derivations and BiHom-Novikov algebras with Rota-Baxter operators, respectively. We show that quadratic BiHom-Novikov algebras are associative algebras and the sub-adjacent BiHom-Lie algebras of BiHom-Novikov algebras are 2-step nilpotent. Moreover, we develop the 1-parameter formal deformation theory of BiHom-Novikov algebras.
The first aim of this paper is to introduce and study symmetric (Bi)Hom-Leibniz algebras, which are left and right Leibniz algebras. We discuss $α^kβ^l$-generalized derivations, $α^kβ^l$ -quasi-derivations and $α^kβ^l$-quasi-centroid of (Bi)Hom-Leibniz algebras and colour BiHom-Leibniz algebras. The second aim is to define a new type of BiHom-Lie algebras satisfies the following hierarchy \begin{equation*} \displaystyle \{ \text{ BiHom-Lie type $B_1$} \}\supseteq_{β=id} \{ \text{ Hom-Lie} \}\supseteq_{α=id} \{ \text{ Lie} \}. \end{equation*} Moreover, define representations and a cohomology of…
The paper introduces the class of split regular BiHom-Poisson superalgebras, which is a natural generalization of split regular Hom-Poisson algebras and split regular BiHom-Lie superalgebras. By developing techniques of connections of roots for this kind of algebras, we show that such a split regular BiHom-Poisson superalgebras $A$ is of the form $A=U+\sum_{\a}I_\a$ with $U$ a subspace of a maximal abelian subalgebra $H$ and any $I_{\a}$, a well described ideal of $A$, satisfying $[I_\a, I_\b]+I_\a I_\b = 0$ if $[\a]\neq [\b]$. Under certain conditions, in the case of $A$ being of maximal leng…
The goal of this paper is to study the structure of split regular BiHom-Leiniz superalgebras, which is a natural generalization of split regular Hom-Leiniz algebras and split regular BiHom-Lie superalgebras. By developing techniques of connections of roots for this kind of algebras, we show that such a split regular BiHom-Leiniz superalgebras $\mathfrak{L}$ is of the form $\mathfrak{L}=U+\sum_{\a}I_\a$ with $U$ a subspace of a maximal abelian subalgebra $H$ and any $I_{\a}$, a well described ideal of $\mathfrak{L}$, satisfying $[I_\a, I_\b]= 0$ if $[\a]\neq [\b]$. In the case of $\mathfrak{L}$…
In this paper, we introduce the notion of an omni $n$-Lie algebra and show that they are linearization of higher analogues of standard Courant algebroids. We also introduce the notion of a nonabelian omni $n$-Lie algebra and show that they are linearization of higher analogues of Courant algebroids associated to Nambu-Poisson manifolds.
The aim of this paper is to introduce the notion of a mock-Lie bialgebra which is equivalent to a Manin triple of mock-Lie algebras. The study of a special case called coboundary mock-Lie bialgebra leads to the introduction the mock-Lie Yang-Baxter equation on a mock-Lie algebra which is an analogue of the classical Yang-Baxter equation on a Lie algebra. Note that a skew-symmetric solution of mock-Lie Yang-Baxter equation gives a mock-Lie bialgebra. Finally, the notation of $\mathcal O$-operators are studied to construct skew-symmetric solution of mock-Lie Yang-Baxter equation.
We show that two cohomological properties of semisimple Lie algebras also hold for Filippov (n-Lie) algebras, namely, that semisimple n-Lie algebras do not admit non-trivial central extensions and that they are rigid i.e., cannot be deformed in Gerstenhaber sense. This result is the analogue of Whitehead's Lemma for Filippov algebras. A few comments about the n-Leibniz algebras case are made at the end.
In this paper, we introduce the notions of hom-Lie 2-algebras, which is the categorification of hom-Lie algebras, $HL_\infty$-algebras, which is the hom-analogue of $L_\infty$-algebras, and crossed modules of hom-Lie algebras. We prove that the category of hom-Lie 2-algebras and the category of 2-term $HL_\infty$-algebras are equivalent. We give a detailed study on skeletal hom-Lie 2-algebras. In particular, we construct the hom-analogues of the string Lie 2-algebras associated to any semisimple involutive hom-Lie algebras. We also proved that there is a one-to-one correspondence between stric…
We study certain types of ideals in the standard Borel subalgebra of an untwisted affine Lie algebra. We classify these ideals in terms of the root combinatorics and give an explicit formula for the number of such ideals in type $A$. The formula involves various aspects of combinatorics of Dyck paths and leads to a new interesting integral sequence.
We introduce a notion of L-dendriform algebra due to several different motivations. L-dendriform algebras are regarded as the underlying algebraic structures of pseudo-Hessian structures on Lie groups and the algebraic structures behind the $\mathcal O$-operators of pre-Lie algebras and the related $S$-equation. As a direct consequence, they provide some explicit solutions of $S$-equation in certain pre-Lie algebras constructed from L-dendriform algebras. They also fit into a bigger framework as Lie algebraic analogues of dendriform algebras. Moreover, we introduce a notion of $\mathcal O$-ope…
Let $G$ be a simple algebraic group over an algebraically closed field of characteristic $p>0$ and suppose that $p$ is a very good prime for $G$. We prove that any maximal Lie subalgebra $M$ of $\mathfrak{g} = {\rm Lie}(G)$ with ${\rm rad}(M) \ne 0$ has the form $M = {\rm Lie}(P)$ for some maximal parabolic subgroup $P$ of $G$. We show that the assumption on $p$ is necessary by providing a counterexample for groups type ${\rm E}_8$ over fields of characteristic $5$. Our arguments rely on the main results and methods of the classification theory of finite dimensional simple Lie algebras over fi…
Quadri-algebras introduced by Aguiar and Loday are a class of remarkable Loday algebras. In this paper, we introduce a notion of L-quadri-algebra with 4 operations satisfying certain generalized left-symmetry, as a Lie algebraic analogue of quadri-algebra such that the commutator of the sum of the 4 operations is a Lie algebra. Any quadri-algebra is an L-quadri-algebra. Moreover, L-quadri-algebras fit into the framework of the relationships between Loday algebras and their Lie algebraic analogues, extending the well known fact that the commutator of an associative algebra is a Lie algebra. We …
This paper is concerned with the description of exceptional simple Lie algebras as octonionic analogues of the classical matrix Lie algebras. We review the Tits-Freudenthal construction of the magic square, which includes the exceptional Lie algebras as the octonionic case of a construction in terms of a Jordan algebra of hermitian 3x3 matrices (Tits) or various plane and other geometries (Freudenthal). We present alternative constructions of the magic square which explain its symmetry, and show explicitly how the use of split composition algebras leads to analogues of the matrix Lie algebras …
In this paper we prove that every finite-dimensional nilpotent restricted Lie algebra over a field of prime characteristic has an outer restricted derivation whose square is zero unless the restricted Lie algebra is a torus or it is one-dimensional or it is isomorphic to the three-dimensional Heisenberg algebra in characteristic two as an ordinary Lie algebra. This result is the restricted analogue of a result of Tôgô on the existence of nilpotent outer derivations of ordinary nilpotent Lie algebras in arbitrary characteristic and the Lie-theoretic analogue of a classical group-theoretic resul…
Xu introduced a family of root-tree-diagram nilpotent Lie algebras of differential operators, in connection with evolution partial differential equations. We generalized his notion to more general oriented tree diagrams. These algebras are natural analogues of the maximal nilpotent Lie subalgebras of finite-dimensional simple Lie algebras. In this paper, we use Hodge Laplacian to study the cohomology of these Lie algebras. The "total rank conjecture" and "$b_2$-conjecture" for the algebras are proved. Moreover, we find the generating functions of the Betti numbers by means of Young tableaux fo…
We show that a fundamental sandwich algebra has an analogue of a root system of a semisimple Lie algebra. This leads to an analogue of a Weyl group, which we study in another paper.
We realize the Temperley-Lieb algebra by analogues of Soergel bimodules. The key point is that the monoidal structure is not given by a usual tensor product but by a slightly more complicated operation.
We prove a version of the Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt Theorem for profinite pronilpotent Lie algebras in which their symmetric and universal enveloping algebras are replaced with appropriate formal analogues and discuss some immediate corollaries of this result.
We define and classify the analogues of the affine Kac-Moody Lie algebras for the ring corresponding to the complex projective line minus three points. The classification is given in terms of Grothendieck's dessins d'enfants. We also study the question of conjugacy of Cartan subalgebras for these algebras.
In this paper we study a Lie-theoretic analogue of a generalisation of the prefrattini subgroups introduced by W. Gaschütz. The approach follows that of P. Hauck and H. Kurtzweil for groups, by first considering complements in subalgebra intervals. Conjugacy of these subalgebras is established for a large class of solvable lie algebras.
The purpose of this paper is to classify all $p$-nilpotent restricted Lie algebras of dimension 5 over perfect fields of characteristic $p\geq 5$. Our work builds upon the recent work of Schneider and Usefi on the classification of $p$-nilpotent restricted Lie algebras of dimension up to 4 over perfect fields of characteristic $p$. The method we use here to classify $p$-nilpotent restricted Lie algebras is the analogue of Skjelbred-Sund method for classifying nilpotent Lie algebras.
The Grigorchuk and Gupta-Sidki groups play fundamental role in modern group theory. Their natural analogues are self-similar nil Lie $p$-algebras. In characteristic zero, similar examples of Lie algebras do not exist (Martinez and Zelmanov). The second author recently constructed a 3-generated self-similar nil finely graded Lie superalgebra, which showed that an extension of Martinez-Zelmanov's result for Lie superalgebras of characteristic zero is not valid. Now, we suggest a more handy example. We construct a 2-generated self-similar Lie superalgebra $\mathbf{R}$ over arbitrary field. It has…
Associated to the two types of finite dimensional simple superalgebras, there are the general linear Lie superalgebra and the queer Lie superalgebra. The universal enveloping algebras of these Lie superalgebras act on the tensor spaces of the natural representations and, thus, define certain finite dimensional quotients, the Schur superalgebras and the queer Schur superalgebra. In this paper, we introduce the quantum analogue of the queer Schur superalgebra and investigate the presentation problem for both the queer Schur superalgebra and its quantum analogue.
We introduce the non-abelian tensor product of Lie superalgebras, study some of its properties including nilpotency, solvability and Engel, and we use it to describe the universal central extensions of Lie superalgebras. We present the low-dimensional non-abelian homology of Lie superalgebras and establish its relationship with the cyclic homology of associative superalgebras. We also define the non-abelian exterior product and give an analogue of Miller's theorem, Hopf formula and a six-term exact sequence for the homology of Lie superalgebras.
In prime characteristic we introduce the notion of restricted pre-Lie algebras. We prove in the pre-Lie context the analogue to Jacobson's theorem for restricted Lie algebras. In particular, we prove that any dendriform algebra over a field of positive characteristic is a restricted pre-Lie algebra. Thus we obtain that Rota-Baxter algebras and quasitriangular algebras are restricted pre-Lie algebras. Moreover, we prove that the free $Γ(\calligra{preLie})$-algebra is a restricted pre-Lie algebra, where $\calligra{preLie}$ denotes the pre-Lie operad. Finally, we define the notion of restricted e…
In this paper we identify the post-Lie analogue of the symmetric brace algebras, advocate their role in the theory of the associated D-algebras and present some relations with the so-called post-Lie Magnus expansion.
We introduce a notion of $n$-Lie Rinehart algebras as a generalization of Lie Rinehart algebras to $n$-ary case. This notion is also an algebraic analogue of $n$-Lie algebroids. We develop representation theory and describe a cohomology complex of $n$-Lie Rinehart algebras. Furthermore, we investigate extension theory of $n$-Lie Rinehart algebras by means of $2$-cocycles. Finally, we introduce crossed modules of $n$-Lie Rinehart algebras to gain a better understanding of their third dimensional cohomology groups.
We give an explicit description of adjoint quotient maps for Jacobson-Witt algebra Wn and special algebra Sn. An analogue of Kostant's differential criterion of regularity is given for Wn. Furthermore, we describe the fiber of adjoint quotient map for Sn and construct the analogs of Kostant's transverse slice. In addition, we analysis the nilpotent elements and generalize some Premet's results to Sn.
Let $G$ be a free group of rank $n$ and $H\subset G$ its subgroup of finite index. Then $H$ is also a free group and the rank $m$ of $H$ is determined by Schreier's formula $m-1=(n-1)\cdot|G:H|.$ Any subalgebra of a free Lie algebra is also free. But a straightforward analogue of Schreier's formula for free Lie algebras does not exist, because any subalgebra of finite codimension has an infinite number of generators. But the appropriate Schreier's formula for free Lie algebras exists in terms of formal power series. There exists also a version in terms of exponential generating functions. This…
