We study the nonrelativistic limit of solitary waves from Nonlinear Maxwell-Klein-Gordon equations (NMKG) to Nonlinear Schrodinger-Poisson equations (NSP). It is known that the existence or multiplicity of positive solutions depends on the choices of parameters the equations contain. In this paper, we prove that for a given positive solitary wave of NSP, which is found in Ruiz's work \cite{R}, there corresponds a family of positive solitary waves of NMKG under the nonrelativistic limit. Notably, our results contain a new result of existence of positive solutions to (NMKG) with lower order nonlinearity.

We prove that in the nonrelativistic limit, solutions of the Klein-Gordon-Maxwell system in 1+3 dimensions converge in the energy space to solutions of a Schrodinger-Poisson system, under appropriate conditions on the initial data. This requires the splitting of the scalar Klein-Gordon field into a sum of two fields, corresponding, in the physical interpretation, to electrons and positrons.

We consider the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation in $\R^d$. We call multi-solitary waves a solution behaving at large time as a sum of boosted standing waves. Our main result is the existence of such multi-solitary waves, provided the composing boosted standing waves are stable. We review recent results on global attractors of U(1)-invariant dispersive Hamiltonian systems. We study several models based on the Klein-Gordon equation and sketch the proof that in these models, under certain generic assumptions, the weak global attractor is represented by the set of all solitary waves. In general, the attractors may also contain multifrequency solitary waves; we give examples of systems which contain such solutions.
In this paper, we study the existence of positive solutions to the nonlinear elliptic system, which is derived from taking the nonrelativistic limit of the nonlinear Maxwell-Klein-Gordon equations under the decomposition of waves functions into positron and electron parts. We characterize the existence and nonexistence of positive vector solutions, depending on parameters $p$ and $μ_{ij}$.

We study the the nonlinear Klein-Gordon (NLKG) equation on a manifold $M$ in the nonrelativistic limit, namely as the speed of light $c$ tends to infinity. In particular, we consider an order-$r$ normalized approximation of NLKG (which corresponds to the NLS at order $r=1$), and prove that when $M=\mathbb{R}^d$, $d \geq 2$, small radiation solutions of the order-$r$ normalized equation approximate solutions of the nonlinear NLKG up to times of order $\mathcal{O}(c^{2(r-1)})$.

For the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation in R 1+d , we prove the existence of multi-solitary waves made of any number N of decoupled bound states. This extends the work of C{ô}te and Mu{ñ}oz (Forum Math. Sigma 2 (2014)) which was restricted to ground states, as were most previous similar results for other nonlinear dispersive and wave models.
We consider finite energy solutions to the nonlinear Schroedinger equation and nonlinear Klein--Gordon equation and find the condition on the nonlinearity so that the standard, one-frequency solitary waves are the only solutions with compact spectrum. We also construct an example of a four-frequency solitary wave solution to the nonlinear Dirac equation in three dimensions.

We establish the long time soliton asymptotics for the translation invariant nonlinear system consisting of the Klein-Gordon equation coupled to a charged relativistic particle. The coupled system has a six dimensional invariant manifold of the soliton solutions. As a main result, we prove symmetry results for traveling solitary waves in the case of powers $σ\in \mathbb{N}$. The arguments are based on Steiner type rearrangements in Fourier space. In this paper we study existence and orbital stability for solitary waves of the nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation. The energy of these solutions travels as a localized packet, hence they are a particular type of solitons. In particular we are interested in sufficient conditions on the potential for the existence of solitons. Our proof is based on the study of the ratio energy/charge of a function, which turns out to be a useful approach for many field equations.

We establish soliton-like asymptotics for finite energy solutions to the Schrödinger equation coupled to a nonrelativistic classical particle. Any solution with initial state close to the solitary manifold, converges to a sum of traveling wave and outgoing free wave. The convergence holds in global energy norm.
