相对Rota-Baxter代数是由代数$A$、$A$-双模$M$和相对Rota-Baxter算子$T$构成的三元组$(A, M, T)$。
A relative Rota-Baxter algebra is a triple $(A, M, T)$ consisting of an algebra $A$, an $A$-bimodule $M$, and a relative Rota-Baxter operator $T$. Using Voronov's derived bracket and a recent work of Lazarev et al., we construct an $L_\infty [1]$-algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are precisely relative Rota-Baxter algebras. By a standard twisting, we define a new $L_\infty [1]$-algebra that controls Maurer-Cartan deformations of a relative Rota-Baxter algebra $(A,M,T)$. We introduce the cohomology of a relative Rota-Baxter algebra $(A, M, T)$ and study infinitesimal deformations in terms of this cohomology (in low dimensions). As an application, we deduce cohomology of coboundary skew-symmetric infinitesimal bialgebras and discuss their infinitesimal deformations. Finally, we define homotopy relative Rota-Baxter operators and find their relationship with homotopy dendriform algebras and homotopy pre-Lie algebras.
Rota-Baxter operators and more generally $\mathcal{O}$-operators on associative algebras are important in probability, combinatorics, associative Yang-Baxter equation and splitting of algebras. Using a method of Uchino, we construct an explicit graded Lie algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are given by $\mathcal{O}$-operators. This allows us to construct a cohomology for an $\mathcal{O}$-operator. This cohomology can also be seen as the Hochschild cohomology of a certain algebra with coefficients in a suitable representation. Next, we study linear and formal deformations of an $\mathcal{O}$-…
Rota-Baxter systems were introduced by Brzeziński as a generalization of Rota-Baxter operators that are related to dendriform structures, associative Yang-Baxter pairs and covariant bialgebras. In this paper, we define Rota-Baxter systems on Hom-associative algebras and show how they induce Hom-dendriform structures and weak pseudotwistors on the underlying Hom-associative algebra. We introduce Hom-Yang-Baxter pairs and a notion of covariant Hom-bialgebra. Given a Hom-Yang-Baxter pair, we construct a twisted Rota-Baxter system and a (quasitriangular) covariant Hom-bialgebra. Finally, we consid…
Rota-Baxter operators and bialgebras go hand in hand in their applications, such as in the Connes-Kreimer approach to renormalization and the operator approach to the classical Yang-Baxter equation. We establish a bialgebra structure that is compatible with the Rota-Baxter operator, called the Rota-Baxter antisymmetric infinitesimal (ASI) bialgebra. This bialgebra is characterized by generalizations of matched pairs of algebras and double constructions of Frobenius algebras to the context of Rota-Baxter algebras. The study of the coboundary case leads to an enrichment of the associative Yang-B…
We introduce the notion of associative (BiHom-)Yang-Baxter pair of weight $(λ,γ)$ which can provide the solution to the double curved Rota-Baxter (BiHom-)system. Equivalent characterizations of (quasitriangular) covariant BiHom-bialgebra are given. We also prove that associative BiHom-Yang-Baxter equation of weight $-1$ can be obtained by the unitary quasitriangular covariant BiHom-bialgebra. At last, we present two approaches to construct (BiHom-)pre-Lie modules from Rota-Baxter (BiHom-)paired modules.
In this paper, we first propose the concept of Rota-Baxter family $Ω$-associative conformal algebras, then we study the cohomology theory of Rota-Baxter family $Ω$-associative conformal algebras of any weight and justify it by interpreting the lower degree cohomology groups as formal deformations.
In this paper, we consider Rota-Baxter operators on involutive associative algebras. We define cohomology for Rota-Baxter operators on involutive algebras that governs the formal deformation of the operator. This cohomology can be seen as the Hochschild cohomology of a certain involutive associative algebra with coefficients in a suitable involutive bimodule. We also relate this cohomology with the cohomology of involutive dendriform algebras. Finally, we show that the standard Fard-Guo construction of the functor from the category of dendriform algebras to the category of Rota-Baxter algebras…
This work addresses some relevant characteristics of associative algebras in low dimensions. Especially, given 1 and 2 dimensional associative algebras, we explicitly solve associative Yang-Baxter equations and use skew-symmetric solutions to perform double constructions of Frobenius algebras. Besides, we determine related compatible dendriform algebras and solutions of their $ D- $equations. Finally, using symmetric solutions of the latter equations, we proceed to double constructions of corresponding Connes cocycles.
We consider the three-dimensional associative algebra H consisting of the 3x3 strictly upper triangular matrices whose the commutator is the Heisenberg Lie algebra. We determine the solutions of the Yang-Baxter associative equation in H. For the antisymmetric solutions, the corresponding bialgebraic structures, double constructions of Frobenius algebras and properties are given explicitly.Besides, we determine some related compatible dendriform algebras and solutions of their D-equations. Using symmetric solutions of these equations, we build the double constructions of related Connes cocycles…
We equip a matrix algebra with a weighted infinitesimal unitary bialgebraic structure, via a construction of a suitable coproduct. Furthermore, an infinitesimal unitary Hopf algebra, under the view of Aguiar, is constructed on a matrix algebra. By exploring the relationship between weighted infinitesimal bialgebras and pre-Lie algebras, we construct a pre-Lie algebraic structure and then a new Lie algebraic structure on a matrix algebra. We also introduce the weighted associative Yang-Baxter equations (AYBEs) and obtain the relationship between solutions of weighted AYBEs and weighted infinite…
Rota-Baxter systems of T. Brzeziński are a generalization of Rota-Baxter operators that are related to dendriform structures, associative Yang-Baxter pairs and covariant bialgebras. In this paper, we consider Rota-Baxter systems in the presence of bimodule, which we call generalized Rota-Baxter systems. We define a graded Lie algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are generalized Rota-Baxter systems. This allows us to define a cohomology theory for a generalized Rota-Baxter system. Formal one-parameter deformations of generalized Rota-Baxter systems are discussed from cohomological points of vie…
Weighted Rota-Baxter operators on associative algebras are closely related to modified Yang-Baxter equations, splitting of algebras, weighted infinitesimal bialgebras, and play an important role in mathematical physics. For any $λ\in {\bf k}$, we construct a differential graded Lie algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are given by $λ$-weighted relative Rota-Baxter operators. Using such characterization, we define the cohomology of a $λ$-weighted relative Rota-Baxter operator $T$, and interpret this as the Hochschild cohomology of a suitable algebra with coefficients in an appropriate bimodule.…
We introduce post-associative algebra structures and study their relationship to post-Lie algebra structures, Rota--Baxter operators and decompositions of associative algebras and Lie algebras. We show several results on the existence of such structures. In particular we prove that there exists no post-Lie algebra structure on a pair $(\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{n})$, where $\mathfrak{n}$ is a simple Lie algebra and $\mathfrak{g}$ is a reductive Lie algebra, which is not isomorphic to $\mathfrak{n}$. We also show that there is no post-associative algebra structure on a pair $(A,B)$ arising from a …
This paper studies operator forms of the nonhomogeneous associative classical Yang-Baxter equation (nhacYBe), extending and generalizing such studies for the classical Yang-Baxter equation and associative Yang-Baxter equation that can be tracked back to the works of Semonov-Tian-Shansky and Kupershmidt on Rota-Baxter Lie algebras and $\mathcal{O}$-operators. In general, solutions of the nhacYBe are characterized in terms of generalized $\mathcal{O}$-operators. The characterization can be given by the classical $\mathcal{O}$-operators precisely when the solutions satisfy an invariant condition.…
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study BiHom-NS-algebras, which are a generalization of NS-algebras using two homomorphisms. Moreover, we discuss their relationships with twisted Rota-Baxter operators in a BiHom-associative context. Furthermore, we introduce a generalization of Nijenhuis operators that lead to BiHom-NS-algebras along BiHom-associative algebras
Rota-Baxter operators and more generally $\mathcal{O}$-operators play a crucial role in broad areas of mathematics and physics, such as integrable systems, the Yang-Baxter equation and pre-Lie algebras. The main objects of study in the paper are certain $\mathcal{O}$-operator morphisms on associative algebras. The cohomology theory of an associative $\mathcal{O}$-operator morphism is established. In development, we give the Cohomology Comparison Theorem of an $\mathcal{O}$-operator morphism, that is, the cohomology of an $\mathcal{O}$-operator morphism is isomorphic to the cohomology of an aux…
The purpose of this paper is to study infinitesimal H-pseudobialgebra, which is an associative analogy of Lie H-pseudobialgebra. We first define the infinitesimal H-pseudobialgebra and investigate some properties of this new algebraic structure. Then we consider the coboundary infinitesimal H-pseudobialgebra, which is the subclass of infinitesimal H-pseudobialgebra and we obtain the associative Yang-Baxter equation over an associative H-pseudoalgebra. Finally, we found the connection between the (coboundary) infinitesimal H-pseudobialgebra and the (coboundary) Lie H-pseudobialgebra. Meanwhile,…
We establish a bialgebra theory for anti-flexible algebras in this paper. We introduce the notion of an anti-flexible bialgebra which is equivalent to a Manin triple of anti-flexible algebras. The study of a special case of anti-flexible bialgebras leads to the introduction of anti-flexible Yang-Baxter equation in an anti-flexible algebra which is an analogue of the classical Yang-Baxter equation in a Lie algebra or the associative Yang-Baxter equation in an associative algebra. It is a unexpected consequence that both the anti-flexible Yang-Baxter equation and the associative Yang-Baxter equa…
In this paper, we define representations and cohomology of weighted Rota-Baxter Lie algebras. As applications of cohomology, we study abelian extensions and formal $1$-parameter deformations weighted Rota-Baxter Lie algebras. Finally, we consider weighted Rota-Baxter paired operators that induces a weighted Rota-Baxter Lie algebra and a representation of it. We define suitable cohomology for such paired operators that govern deformation.
Recently, relative Rota-Baxter (Lie/associative) algebras are extensively studied in the literature from cohomological points of view. In this paper, we consider relative Rota-Baxter Leibniz algebras (rRB Leibniz algebras) as the object of our study. We construct an $L_\infty$-algebra that characterizes rRB Leibniz algebras as its Maurer-Cartan elements. Then we define representations of an rRB Leibniz algebra and introduce cohomology with coefficients in a representation. As applications of cohomology, we study deformations and abelian extensions of rRB Leibniz algebras.
A relative Rota-Baxter algebra is a generalization of a Rota-Baxter algebra. Relative Rota-Baxter algebras are closely related to dendriform algebras. In this paper, we introduce bimodules over a relative Rota-Baxter algebra that fits with the representations of dendriform algebras. We define the cohomology of a relative Rota-Baxter algebra with coefficients in a bimodule and then study abelian extensions of relative Rota-Baxter algebras in terms of the second cohomology group. Finally, we consider homotopy relative Rota-Baxter algebras and classify skeletal homotopy relative Rota-Baxter algeb…
In this paper, we study Rota-Baxter operators and super $\mathcal{O}$-operator of associative superalgebras, Lie superalgebras, pre-Lie superalgebras and $L$-dendriform superalgebras. Then we give some properties of pre-Lie superalgebras constructed from associative superalgebras, Lie superalgebras and $L$-dendriform superalgebras. Moreover, we provide all Rota-Baxter operators of weight zero on complex pre-Lie superalgebras of dimensions $2$ and $3$.
The goal of the present paper is to investigate representations and cohomologies of Rota-Baxter 3-Lie algebras with any weight. We introduce representations, matched pairs and Manin triples of Rota-Baxter 3-Lie algebras. Furthermore, we discuss cohomology theory of Rota-Baxter 3-Lie algebras. The deformations and central extensions of Rota-Baxter 3-Lie algebras are also studied.
Rota-Baxter associative algebras and Rota-Baxter Lie algebras are both important in mathematics and mathematical physics, with the former a basic structure in quantum field renormalization and the latter a operator form of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. An outstanding problem posed by Gubarev is to determine whether there is a Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for the universal enveloping Rota-Baxter associative algebra of a Rota-Baxter Lie algebra. This paper resolves this problem positively, working with operated algebras and applying the method of Gröbner-Shirshov bases.
A Rota-Baxter algebra $A_R$ is an algebra $A$ equipped with a distinguished Rota-Baxter operator $R$ on it. Rota-Baxter algebras are closely related to dendriform algebras introduced by Loday. In this paper, we first consider the non-abelian extension theory of Rota-Baxter algebras and classify them by introducing the non-abelian cohomology. Next, given a non-abelian extension $0 \rightarrow B_S \rightarrow E_U \rightarrow A_R \rightarrow 0$ of Rota-Baxter algebras, we construct the Wells type exact sequences and find their role in extending a Rota-Baxter automorphism $β\in \mathrm{Aut}(B_S)$ …
We give the description of homogeneous Rota-Baxter operators, Reynolds operators, Nijenhuis operators, Average operators and differential operator of weight 1 of null-filiform associative algebras of arbitrary dimension.
A LieYRep pair consists of a Lie-Yamaguti algebra and its representation. In this paper, we establish the cohomology theory of LieYRep pairs and characterize their linear deformations by the second cohomology group. Then we introduce the notion of relative Rota-Baxter-Nijenhuis structures on LieYRep pairs, investigate their properties, and prove that a relative Rota-Baxter-Nijenhuis structure gives rise to a pair of compatible relative Rota-Baxter operators under a certain condition. Finally, we show the equivalence between $r$-matrix-Nijenhuis structures and Rota-Baxter-Nijenhuis structures o…
We state that all Rota-Baxter operators of nonzero weight on Grassmann algebra over a field of characteristic zero are projections on a subalgebra along another one. We show the one-to-one correspondence between the solutions of associative Yang-Baxter equation and Rota-Baxter operators of weight zero on the matrix algebra $M_n(F)$ (joint with P. Kolesnikov). We prove that all Rota-Baxter operators of weight zero on a unital associative (alternative, Jordan) algebraic algebra over a field of characteristic zero are nilpotent. For an algebra $A$, we introduce its new invariant the rb-index $\ma…
The aim of this paper is twofold. In the first part, we consider twisted Rota-Baxter operators on associative algebras that were introduced by Uchino as a noncommutative analogue of twisted Poisson structures. We construct an $L_\infty$-algebra whose Maurer-Cartan elements are given by twisted Rota-Baxter operators. This leads to cohomology associated to a twisted Rota-Baxter operator. This cohomology can be seen as the Hochschild cohomology of a certain associative algebra with coefficients in a suitable bimodule. We study deformations of twisted Rota-Baxter operators by means of the above-de…
We give a broad study of representation and module theory of Rota-Baxter algebras. Regular-singular decompositions of Rota-Baxter algebras and Rota-Baxter modules are obtained under the condition of quasi-idempotency. Representations of an Rota-Baxter algebra are shown to be equivalent to the representations of the ring of Rota-Baxter operators whose categorical properties are obtained and explicit constructions are provided. Representations from coalgebras are investigated and their algebraic Birkhoff factorization is given. Representations of Rota-Baxter algebras in the tensor category conte…
Rota-Baxter systems are modified by the inclusion of a curvature term. It is shown that, subject to specific properties of the curvature form, curved Rota-Baxter systems $(A,R,S,ω)$ induce associative and (left) pre-Lie products on the algebra $A$. It is also shown that if both Rota-Baxter operators coincide with each other and the curvature is $A$-bilinear, then the (modified by $R$) Hochschild cohomology ring over $A$ is a curved differential graded algebra.
We give a construction of Rota-Baxter coalgebras from Hopf module coalgebras and also derive the structures of the pre-Lie coalgebras via Rota-Baxter coalgebras of different weight. Finally, the notion of Rota-Baxter bialgebra is introduced and some examples are provided.
In this paper, we begin a systematic study of modified Rota-Baxter algebras, as an associative analogue of the modified classical Yang-Baxter equation. We construct free commutative modified Rota-Baxter algebras by a variation of the shuffle product and describe the structure both recursively and explicitly. We then provide these algebras with a Hopf algebra structure by applying a Hochschild cocycle.
