A new non-Hermitian E2-quasi-exactly solvable model is constructed containing two previously known models of this type as limits in one of its three parameters. We identify the optimal finite approximation to the double scaling limit to the complex Mathieu Hamiltonian. A detailed analysis of the vicinity of the exceptional points in the parameter space is provided by discussing the branch cut structures responsible for the chirality when exceptional points are surrounded and the structure of the corresponding energy eigenvalue loops stretching over several Riemann sheets. We compute the Stieltjes measure and momentum functionals for the coefficient functions that are univariate weakly orthogonal polynomials in the energy obeying three-term recurrence relations.
Using supersymmetric quantum mechanics we develop a new method for constructing quasi-exactly solvable (QES) potentials with two known eigenstates. This method is extended for constructing conditionally-exactly solvable potentials (CES). The considered QES potentials at certain values of parameters become exactly solvable and can be treated as CES ones.

We give two conditionally exactly solvable inverse power law potentials whose linearly independent solutions include a sum of two confluent hypergeometric functions. We notice that they are partner potentials and multiplicative shape invariant. The method used to find the solutions works with the two Schrodinger equations of the partner potentials. Furthermore we study some of the properties of these potentials.
Motivated by the interest in non-relativistic quantum mechanics for determining exact solutions to the Schrodinger equation we give two potentials that are conditionally exactly solvable. The two potentials are partner potentials and we obtain that each linearly independent solution of the Schrodinger equation includes two hypergeometric functions. Furthermore we calculate their reflection and transmission amplitudes. Finally we discuss some additional properties of these potentials.
Some exactly solvable potentials in the position dependent mass background are generated whose bound states are given in terms of Laguerre- or Jacobi-type $X_1$ exceptional orthogonal polynomials. These potentials are shown to be shape invariant and isospectral to the potentials whose bound state solutions involve classical Laguerre or Jacobi polynomials.
We propose a new method for constructing the quasi-exactly solvable (QES) potentials with two known eigenstates using supersymmetric quantum mechanics. General expression for QES potentials with explicitly known energy levels and wave functions of ground state and excited state are obtained. Examples of new QES potentials are considered.
We derive a formula that simplifies the original asymptotic iteration method formulation to find the energy eigenvalues for the analytically solvable cases. We then show that there is a connection between the asymptotic iteration and the Nikiforov--Uvarov methods, which both solve the second order linear ordinary differential equations analytically.
We have generated, using an sl(2,R) formalism, several new classes of quasi-solvable elliptic potentials, which in the appropriate limit go over to the exactly solvable forms. We have obtained exact solutions of the corresponding spectral problems for some real values of the potential parameters. We have also given explicit expressions of the families of associated orthogonal polynomials in the energy variable.
The key difficulty in the modelling of large quantum coherent structures lies in keeping track of nonlocal, multipoint quantum correlations between their constituent parts. Below we study theoretically and numerically the asymptotics of the algebraic part of the spectrum for the quasi-exactly solvable sextic potential, its level crossing points, and its monodromy in the complex plane of its parameter. We also discuss connection between the quasi-exactly solvable sextic and the classical quartic potential.
We construct a previously unknown $E_2$-quasi-exactly solvable non-Hermitian model whose eigenfunctions involve weakly orthogonal polynomials obeying three-term recurrence relations that factorize beyond the quantization level. The model becomes Hermitian when one of its two parameters is fixed to a specific value. We analyze the double scaling limit of this model leading to the complex Mathieu equation. The norms, Stieltjes measures and moment functionals are evaluated for some concrete values of one of the two parameters.
We pinpoint that the work about "a new exactly solvable quantum model in $N$ dimensions" by Ballesteros et al. [Phys. Lett. A {\bf 375} (2011) 1431, arXiv:1007.1335] is not a new exactly solvable quantum model since the flaw of the position-dependent mass Hamiltonian proposed by them makes it less valuable in physics.

We consider two quasi-exactly solvable problems in one dimension for which the Schrödinger equation can be converted to Heun's equation. We show that in neither case the Bender-Dunne polynomials form an orthogonal set. Using the anti-isopectral transformation we also discover a new quasi-exactly solvable problem and show that even in this case the polynomials do not form an orthogonal set.

We suggest a systematic method of extension of quasi-exactly solvable (QES) systems. We construct finite-dimensional subspaces on the basis of special functions (hypergeometric, Airy, Bessel ones) invariant with respect to the action of differential operators of the second order with polynomial coefficients. As a example of physical applications, we show that the known two-photon Rabi Hamiltonian becomes quasi-exactly solvable at certain values of parameters when it can be expressed in terms of corresponding QES operators related to the hypergeometric function.
We construct six multi-parameter families of Hermitian quasi-exactly solvable matrix Schroedinger operators in one variable. The method for finding these operators relies heavily upon a special representation of the Lie algebra o(2,2) whose representation space contains an invariant finite-dimensional subspace. Besides that we give several examples of quasi-exactly solvable matrix models that have square-integrable eigenfunctions. These examples are in direct analogy with the quasi-exactly solvable scalar Schroedinger operators obtained by Turbiner and Ushveridze.
We introduce a new family of quasi-exactly solvable generalized isotonic oscillators which are based on the pseudo-Hermite exceptional orthogonal polynomials. We obtain exact closed-form expressions for the energies and wavefunctions as well as the allowed potential parameters for the first two members of the family using the Bethe ansatz method. Numerical calculations of the energies reveal that member potentials have multiple quasi-exactly solvable eigenstates and the number of states for higher members are parameter dependent.

A systematic procedure to derive exact solutions of the associated Lame equation for an arbitrary value of the energy is presented. Supersymmetric transformations in which the seed solutions have factorization energies inside the gaps are used to generate new exactly solvable potentials; some of them exhibit an interesting property of periodicity defects.
The Hall--Post inequalities provide lower bounds on $N$-body energies in terms of $N'$-body energies with $N'<N$. They are rewritten and generalized to be tested with exactly-solvable models of Calogero-Sutherland type in one and higher dimensions. Exactly solvable rationally-extended radial oscillator potentials, whose wavefunctions can be expressed in terms of Laguerre-type exceptional orthogonal polynomials, are constructed in the framework of $k$th-order supersymmetric quantum mechanics, with special emphasis on $k=2$. It is shown that for $μ=1$, 2, and 3, there exist exactly $μ$ distinct potentials of $μ$th type and associated families of exceptional orthogonal polynomials, where $μ$ denotes the degree of the polynomial $g_μ$ arising in the denominator of the potentials.
We consider the double sinh-Gordon potential which is a quasi-exactly solvable problem and show that in this case one has two sets of Bender-Dunne orthogonal polynomials . We study in some detail the various properties of these polynomials and the corresponding quotient polynomials. In particular, we show that the weight functions for these polynomials are not always positive. We also study the orthogonal polynomials of the double sine-Gordon potential which is related to the double sinh-Gordon case by an anti-isospectral transformation. We study a two-dimensional exactly solvable non-Hermitian $PT-$non-symmetric quantum model with real spectrum, which is not amenable to separation of variables, by supersymmetrical methods. Here we focus attention on the property of pseudo-Hermiticity, biorthogonal expansion and pseudo-metric operator. To our knowledge this is the first time that pseudo-Hermiticity is realized explicitly for a nontrivial two-dimensional case. It is shown that the Hamiltonian of the model is not diagonalizable.

We consider quasinormal modes with complex energies from the point of view of the theory of quasi-exactly solvable (QES) models. We demonstrate that it is possible to find new potentials which admit exactly solvable or QES quasinormal modes by suitable complexification of parameters defining the QES potentials. Particularly, we obtain one QES and four exactly solvable potentials out of the five one-dimensional QES systems based on the $sl(2)$ algebra.
I introduce two family of exactly solvable models for multiatomic hetero-nuclear and homo-nuclear molecular Bose-Einstein condensates through the algebraic Bethe ansatz method. The conserved quantities of the respective models are also showed.

We obtained a new class of exactly-solvable potentials by means of the hypergeometric equation for Schrodinger equation, which different from the exactly-solvable potentials introduced by Bose and Natanzon. We present several examples of quasi-exactly solvable $N$-body problems in one, two and higher dimensions. We study various aspects of these problems in some detail. In particular, we show that in some of these examples the corresponding polynomials form an orthogonal set and many of their properties are similar to those of the Bender-Dunne polynomials. We also discuss QES problems where the polynomials do not form an orthogonal set.
We present new quasi-exactly solvable models with inverse quartic, sextic, octic and decatic power potentials, respectively. We solve these models exactly via the functional Bethe ansatz method. For each case, we give closed-form solutions for the energies and the wave functions as well as analytical expressions for the allowed potential parameters in terms of a set of algebraic equations.

We use a Lie algebraic technique to construct complex quasi exactly solvable potentials with real spectrum. In particular we obtain exact solutions of a complex sextic oscillator potential and also a complex potential belonging to the Morse family.

In this thesis, the quantum Hamilton Jacobi (QHJ) formalism is used to study various exactly solvable (ES) and quasi -exactly solvable (QES) models. Using this method, we obtain the bound state eigenvalues and the eigenfunctions for the models studied. By using the technique of supersymmetric quantum mechanics, we study a quasi exactly solvable extension of the N-particle rational Calogero model with harmonic confining interaction. Such quasi exactly solvable many particle system, whose effective potential in the radial direction yields a supersymmetric partner of the radial harmonic oscillator, is constructed by including new long-range interactions to the rational Calogero model. Quasi-exactly solvable rational potentials with known zero-energy solutions of the Schro\" odinger equation are constructed by starting from exactly solvable potentials for which the Schr\" odinger equation admits an so(2,1) potential algebra.
