设$\A$是具有局部单位的环,$\E$是$\A$的局部单位集,$\G$是阿贝尔群,$α$是$\G$通过$\A$的包含局部单位的理想的部分作用,使得部分斜群环$\A\star_α \G$是结合的.我们证明了$\A\star_α \G$是简单的当且仅当$\A$是$\G$ -简单的,并且角$eδ_0 (\A\star_α \G) e δ_0$的中心是所有$e\in \E$的域。我们应用的结果来表征简单的部分斜群环在两种情况下,即部分斜群环所产生的部分行动的闭子集的紧集和部分行动的集合水平。
英文摘要:
Let $\A$ be a ring with local units, $\E$ a set of local units for $\A$, $\G$ an abelian group and $α$ a partial action of $\G$ by ideals of $\A$ that contain local units and such that the partial skew group ring $\A\star_α \G$ is associative. We show that $\A\star_α \G$ is simple if and only if $\A$ is $\G$-simple and the center of the corner $eδ_0 (\A\star_α \G) e δ_0$ is a field for all $e\in \E$. We apply the result to characterize simplicity of partial skew group rings in two cases, namely for partial skew group rings arising from partial actions by clopen subsets of a compact set and partial actions on the set level.
We realize Leavitt ultragraph path algebras as partial skew group rings. Using this realization we characterize artinian ultragraph path algebras and give simplicity criteria for these algebras.
Given a partial action $π$ of an inverse semigroup $S$ on a ring $\mathcal{A}$ one may construct its associated skew inverse semigroup ring $\mathcal{A} \rtimes_πS$. Our main result asserts that, when $\mathcal{A}$ is commutative, the ring $\mathcal{A} \rtimes_πS$ is simple if, and only if, $\mathcal{A}$ is a maximal commutative subring of $\mathcal{A} \rtimes_πS$ and $\mathcal{A}$ is $S$-simple. We apply this result in the context of topological inverse semigroup actions to connect simplicity of the associated skew inverse semigroup ring with topological properties of the action. Let $R$ be a ring and $σ$ an endomorphism of $R$. In this note, we study skew polynomial rings and skew power series rings over idempotent reflexive rings and abelian rings. Also, we introduce the concept of right (resp., left) $σ$-idempotent reflexive rings which generalizes right (resp., left) idempotent reflexive rings and $σ$-abelian rings. Certain results are obtained as corollaries from our results.
A skew brace is a triplet $(A,\cdot,\circ)$, where $(A,\cdot)$ and $(A,\circ)$ are groups such that the brace relation $x\circ (y\cdot z) = (x\circ y)\cdot x^{-1}\cdot (x\circ z)$ holds for all $x,y,z\in A$. In this paper, we study the number of finite skew braces $(A,\cdot,\circ)$, up to isomorphism, such that $(A,\cdot)$ and $(A,\circ)$ are both isomorphic to $T^n$ with $T$ non-abelian simple and $n\in\mathbb{N}$. We prove that it is equal to the number of unlabeled directed graphs on $n+1$ vertices, with one distingusihed vertex, and whose underlying undirected graph is a tree. In particula…
In this paper we enumerate the skew braces of non-abelian type of size $p^2q$ for $p,q$ primes with $q>2$ by the classification of regular subgroups of the holomorph of the non-abelian groups of the same order. Since Crespo dealt with the case $q=2$, this paper completes the enumeration of skew braces of size $p^2q$ started in a previous work by the authors. In some cases, we provide also a structural description of the skew braces. As an application, we prove a conjecture posed by V. Bardakov, M. Neshchadim and M. Yadav.
This is the first part of a series of two articles. In this paper we enumerate and classify the left braces of size $p^2q$ where $p$ and $q$ are distinct prime numbers by the classification of regular subgroups of the holomorph of the abelian groups of the same order. We also provide the formulas that define the constructed braces.
Given a partial action $α$ of a groupoid $G$ on a ring $R$, we study the associated partial skew groupoid ring $R \rtimes_α G$, which carries a natural $G$-grading. We show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the $G$-invariant ideals of $R$ and the graded ideals of the $G$-graded ring $R \rtimes_αG.$ We provide sufficient conditions for primeness, and necessary and sufficient conditions for simplicity of $R \rtimes_αG.$ We show that every ideal of $R \rtimes_αG$ is graded if, and only if, $α$ has the residual intersection property. Furthermore, if $α$ is induced by a topological …
Studying solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation through skew braces, with an application to indecomposable involutive solutions with abelian permutation group
We define a bi-skew brace to be a set $G$ with two group operations $\star$ and $\circ$ so that $(G, \circ, \star)$ is a skew brace with additive group $(G, \star)$ and also with additive group $(G, \circ)$. If $G$ is a skew brace, then $G$ corresponds to a Hopf Galois structure of type $(G, \star)$ on any Galois extension of fields with Galois group isomorphic to $(G, \circ)$. If $G$ is a bi-skew brace, then $G$ also corresponds to a Hopf Galois structure of type $(G, \circ)$ on a Galois extension of fields with Galois group isomorphic to $(G, \star)$. Many non-trivial examples exist. One sou…
We obtain sufficient criteria for simplicity of systems, that is, rings $R$ that are equipped with a family of additive subgroups $R_s$, for $s \in S$, where $S$ is a semigroup, satisfying $R = \sum_{s \in S} R_s$ and $R_s R_t \subseteq R_{st}$, for $s,t \in S$. These criteria are specialized to obtain sufficient criteria for simplicity of, what we call, s-unital epsilon-strong systems, that is systems where $S$ is an inverse semigroup, $R$ is coherent, in the sense that for all $s,t \in S$ with $s \leq t$, the inclusion $R_s \subseteq R_t$ holds, and for each $s \in S$, the $R_s R_{s^*}$-$R_{…
Let C be a commutative noetherian domain, G be a finitely generated abelian group which acts on C and B = C#G be the skew group ring. For a prime ideal I in C, we study the largest subring of B in which the right ideal IB becomes a two-sided ideal - the idealiser subring. We obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for when this idealiser subring is left and right noetherian. We also give an example of these conditions in practice which translates to an interesting number theoretic problem.
We consider the Noether's problem on the noncommutative real rational functions invariant under the linear action of a finite group. For abelian groups the invariant skew-fields are always rational. We show that for a solvable group the invariant skew-field is finitely generated. The skew-field invariant under a linear action of a solvable group is rational if the action is well-behaved -- given by a so-called complete representation. We determine the groups that admit such representations and call them totally psuedo-unramified. In the second part we study the reach of totally psuedo-unramifi…
In this paper, we introduce the concept of $Σ$-semicommutative ring, for $Σ$ a finite family of endomorphisms of a ring $R$. We relate this class of rings with other classes of rings such that Abelian, reduced, $Σ$-rigid, nil-reversible and rings satisfying the $Σ$-skew reflexive nilpotent property. Also, we study some ring-theoretical properties of skew PBW extensions over $Σ$-semicommutative rings. We prove that if a ring $R$ is $Σ$-semicommutative with certain conditions of compatibility on derivations, then for every skew PBW extension $A$ over $R$, $R$ is Baer if and only if $R$ is quasi-…
We study relations between the additive and the multiplicative groups of a two-sided skew brace. In particular, we prove that if the additive group of a two-sided skew brace is finite solvable (respectively, finitely generated nilpotent, finitely generated residually nilpotent, finitely generated residually finite), then the multiplicative group of this skew brace is solvable (respectively, solvable, residually solvable, residually finite). Also, we prove that if the multiplicative group of a two-sided skew brace is nilpotent of nilpotency class $k$, then the additive group of this skew brace …
We investigate color Lie rings over finite group algebras and their universal enveloping algebras. We exhibit these universal enveloping algebras as PBW deformations of skew group algebras: Every color Lie ring over a finite group algebra with a particular Yetter-Drinfeld structure has universal enveloping algebra that is a quantum Drinfeld orbifold algebra. Conversely, every quantum Drinfeld orbifold algebra of a particular type arising from the action of an abelian group is the universal enveloping algebra of some color Lie ring over the group algebra. One consequence is that these quantum D…
Given a graded ample Hausdorff groupoid, we realise its graded Steinberg algebra as a partial skew inverse semigroup ring. We use this to show that for a partial action of a discrete group on a locally compact Hausdorff topological space, the Steinberg algebra of the associated groupoid is graded isomorphic to the corresponding partial skew group ring. We show that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the open invariant subsets of the topological space and the graded ideals of the partial skew group ring. We also consider the algebraic version of the partial $C^{*}$-algebra of an abeli…
This paper describes the structure of invariant skew fields for linear actions of finite solvable groups on free skew fields in $d$ generators. These invariant skew fields are always finitely generated, which contrasts with the free algebra case. For abelian groups or solvable groups $G$ with a well-behaved representation theory it is shown that the invariant skew fields are free on $|G|(d-1)+1$ generators. Finally, positivity certificates for invariant rational functions in terms of sums of squares of invariants are presented.
In this paper we study the existence of free non-abelian subgroups in non-central permutable subgroups of general skew linear groups and locally finite group algebras.
In an attempt to understand the origins and the nature of the law binding together two group operations into a {\em skew brace}, introduced in [L.\ Guarnieri \& L.\ Vendramin, Math.\ Comp.\ \textbf{86} (2017), 2519--2534] as a non-Abelian version of the {\em brace distributive law} of [W.\ Rump, J.\ Algebra {\bf 307} (2007), 153--170] and [F.\ Cedó, E.\ Jespers \& J.\ Okniński, Commun.\ Math.\ Phys.\ {\bf 327} (2014), 101--116], the notion of a {\em skew truss} is proposed. A skew truss consists of a set with a group operation and a semigroup operation connected by a modified distributive law …
