The Lie algebra $\mathfrak{su}(1,1)$ can be deformed by a reflection operator, in such a way that the positive discrete series representations of $\mathfrak{su}(1,1)$ can be extended to representations of this deformed algebra $\mathfrak{su}(1,1)_γ$. Just as the positive discrete series representations of $\mathfrak{su}(1,1)$ can be used to model a quantum oscillator with Meixner-Pollaczek polynomials as wave functions, the corresponding representations of $\mathfrak{su}(1,1)_γ$ can be utilized to construct models of a quantum oscillator. In this case, the wave functions are expressed in terms of continuous dual Hahn polynomials. We study some properties of these wave functions, and illustrate some features in plots. We also discuss some interesting limits and special cases of the obtained oscillator models.
The Tsallis $q$-exponential function $e_q(x) = (1+(1-q)x)^{\frac{1}{1-q}}$ is found to be associated with the deformed oscillator defined by the relations $\left[N,a^\dagger\right] = a^\dagger$, $[N,a] = -a$, and $\left[a,a^\dagger\right] = ϕ_T(N+1)-ϕ_T(N)$, with $ϕ_T(N) = N/(1+(q-1)(N-1))$. In a Bargmann-like representation of this deformed oscillator the annihilation operator $a$ corresponds to a deformed derivative with the Tsallis $q$-exponential functions as its eigenfunctions, and the Tsallis $q$-exponential functions become the coherent states of the deformed oscillator. When $q = 2$ th…
For the two-parameter $p,q$-deformed Heisenberg algebra introduced recently and in which, instead of usual commutator of $X$ and $P$ in the l.h.s. of basic relation $[X,P] = {\rm i}\hbar$, one uses the $p,q$-commutator, we established interesting properties. Most important is the realizability of the $p,q$-deformed Heisenberg algebra by means of the appropriate deformed oscillator algebra. Another uncovered property is special extension of the usual mutual Hermitian conjugation of the creation and annihilation operators, namely the so-called $η(N)$-pseudo-Hermitian conjugation rule, along with…
We discuss the construction of oscillator-like systems associated with orthogonal polynomials on the example of the Fibonacci oscillator. In addition, we consider the dimension of the corresponding lie algebras.
The Liouville equation for the q-deformed 1-D classical harmonic oscillator is derived for two definitions of q-deformation. This derivation is achieved by using two different representations for the q-deformed Hamiltonian of this oscillator corresponding to undeformed and deformed phase spaces. The resulting Liouville equation is solved by using the method of characteristics in order to obtain the classical probability distribution function for this system. The 2-D and 3-D behaviors of this function are then investigated using a computer visualization method. The results are compared with tho…
In this paper, we present an explicit realization of q-deformed Calogero-Vasiliev algebra whose generators are first-order q-difference operators related to the generalized discrete q-Hermite II polynomials recently introduced in [13]. Furthermore, we construct the wave functions and we determine the q-coherent states.
The quantum oscillator and Kepler-Coulomb problems in $d$-dimensional spaces with constant curvature are analyzed from several viewpoints. In a deformed supersymmetric framework, the corresponding nonlinear potentials are shown to exhibit a deformed shape invariance property. By using the point canonical transformation method, the two deformed Schrödinger equations are mapped onto conventional ones corresponding to some shape-invariant potentials, whose rational extensions are well known. The inverse point canonical transformations then provide some rational extensions of the oscillator and Ke…
We give explicit analytical expressions for the partition function of $U(N)_{k}\times U(N+M)_{-k}$ ABJ theory at weak coupling ($k\rightarrow \infty )$ for finite and arbitrary values of $N$ and $M$ (including the ABJM case and its mass-deformed generalization). We obtain the expressions by identifying the one-matrix model formulation with a Meixner-Pollaczek ensemble and using the corresponding orthogonal polynomials, which are also eigenfunctions of a $su(1,1)$ quantum oscillator. Wilson loops in mass-deformed ABJM are also studied in the same limit and interpreted in terms of $su(1,1)$ cohe…
We associate with each simple Lie algebra a system of second-order differential equations invariant under a non-compact real form of the corresponding Lie group. In the limit of a contraction to a Schrödinger algebra, these equations reduce to a system of ordinary harmonic oscillators. We provide two clarifying examples of such deformed oscillators: one system invariant under SO(2,3) transformations, and another system featuring $G_{2(2)}$ symmetry. The construction of invariant actions requires adding semi-dynamical degrees of freedom; we illustrate the algorithm with the two examples mention…
We analyze systematically several deformations arising from two-dimensional harmonic oscillators which can be described in terms of $\cal{D}$-pseudo bosons. They all give rise to exactly solvable models, described by non self-adjoint hamiltonians whose eigenvalues and eigenvectors can be found adopting the quite general framework of the so-called $\cal{D}$-pseudo bosons. In particular, we show that several models previously introduced in the literature perfectly fit into this scheme.
We point out a misleading treatment in a recent paper published in this Journal [Eur. Phys. J. C (2018)78:106] regarding solutions for the Schrödinger equation with a anharmonic oscillator potential embedded in the background of a cosmic string mapped into biconfluent Heun equation. This fact jeopardizes the thermodynamical properties calculated in this system.
We show that the crossing symmetric dispersion relation (CSDR) for 2-2 scattering leads to a fascinating connection with knot polynomials and q-deformed algebras. In particular, the dispersive kernel can be identified naturally in terms of the generating function for the Alexander polynomials corresponding to the torus knot $(2,2n+1)$ arising in knot theory. Certain linear combinations of the low energy expansion coefficients of the amplitude can be bounded in terms of knot invariants. Pion S-matrix bootstrap data respects the analytic bounds so obtained. We correlate the $q$-deformed harmonic…

We derive and spell out the structure constants of the $\mathbb{Z}_2$-graded algebra $\mathfrak{shs}[λ]\,$ by using deformed-oscillators techniques in $Aq(2;ν)\,$, the universal enveloping algebra of the Wigner-deformed Heisenberg algebra in 2 dimensions. The use of Weyl ordering of the deformed oscillators is made throughout the paper, via the symbols of the operators and the corresponding associative, non-commutative star product. The deformed oscillator construction was used by Vasiliev in order to construct the higher spin algebras in three spacetime dimensions. We derive an expression for…
We extend the construction of 2D superintegrable Hamiltonians with separation of variables in spherical coordinates using combinations of shift, ladder, and supercharge operators to models involving rational extensions of the two-parameter Lissajous systems on the sphere. These new families of superintegrable systems with integrals of arbitrary order are connected with Jacobi exceptional orthogonal polynomials (EOP) of type I (or II) and supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM). Moreover, we present an algebraic derivation of the degenerate energy spectrum for the one- and two-parameter Lissa…
In this Letter, 2D Dirac oscillator in the quantum deformed framework generated by the $κ$-Poincaré-Hopf algebra is considered. The problem is formulated using the $κ$-deformed Dirac equation. The resulting theory reveals that the energies and wave functions of the oscillator are modified by the deformation parameter.
The symmetry structure of twodimensional nonlinear isotropic oscillator, introduced in Physica D237 (2008) 505, is discussed. It is shown that it possesses three independent integrals of motion which can be chosen in such a way that they span SU(2), E(2) or SU(1,1) algebras, depending on the value of total energy. They generate the infinitesimal canonical symmetry transformations; integrability of the latter is analyzed. The results are then generalized to the case of arbitrary number of degrees of freedom.
We define a new algebra, which can formally be considered as a ${\cal C}{\cal P}$ deformed $\mathfrak{su}(2)$ Lie algebra. Then, we present a one-dimensional quantum oscillator model, of which the wavefunctions of even and odd states are expressed by Krawtchouk polynomials with fixed $p=1/2$, $K_{2n}(k;1/2,2j)$ and $K_{2n}(k-1;1/2,2j-2)$. The dynamical symmetry of the model is the newly introduced $\mathfrak{su}(2)_{{\cal C}{\cal P}}$ algebra. The model itself gives rise to a finite and discrete spectrum for all physical operators (such as position and momentum). Among the set of finite oscill…
Inspired by a recently proposed Duality and Conformal invariant modification of Maxwell theory (ModMax), we construct a one-parameter family of two-dimensional dynamical system in classical mechanics that share many features with the ModMax theory. It consists of a couple of $\sqrt{T\bar{T}}$-deformed oscillators that nevertheless preserves duality $(q \rightarrow p,p \rightarrow -q)$ and depends on a continuous parameter $γ$, as in the ModMax case. Despite its non-linear features, the system is integrable. Remarkably can be interpreted as a pair of two coupled oscillators whose frequencies de…
We investigate the dynamical symmetry superalgebras of the one-dimensional Matrix Superconformal Quantum Mechanics with inverse-square potential. They act as spectrum-generating superalgebras for the systems with the addition of the de Alfaro-Fubini-Furlan oscillator term. The undeformed quantum oscillators are expressed by $2^n\times 2^n$ supermatrices; their corresponding spectrum-generating superalgebras are given by the $osp(2n|2)$ series. For $n=1$ the addition of a inverse-square potential does not break the $osp(2|2)$ spectrum-generating superalgebra. For $n=2$ two cases of inverse-squa…
The formalism for Poisson-Hopf (PH) deformations of Lie-Hamilton systems is refined in one of its crucial points concerning applications, namely the obtention of effective and computationally feasible PH deformed superposition rules for prolonged PH deformations of Lie-Hamilton systems. The two new notions here proposed are a generalization of the standard superposition rules and the concept of diagonal prolongations for Lie systems, which are consistently recovered under the non-deformed limit. Using a technique from superintegrability theory, we obtain a maximal number of functionally indepe…
We study the spectrum generating closed nonlinear superconformal algebra that describes $\mathcal{N}=2$ super-extensions of rationally deformed quantum harmonic oscillator and conformal mechanics models with coupling constant $g=m(m+1)$, $m\in {\mathbb N}$. It has a nature of a nonlinear finite $W$ superalgebra being generated by higher derivative integrals, and generally contains several different copies of either deformed superconformal $\mathfrak{osp}(2|2)$ algebra in the case of super-extended rationally deformed conformal mechanics models, or deformed super-Schrodinger algebra in the case…
The aim of this paper is to provide an explicit expressions for the generalized q-deformed harmonic oscillator coherent states obtained in terms of a weak and strong behavior expansions. We first use the weak (s --> 0) deformed version of q-boson annihilation operator to solve Barut-Girardello's eigenvalues coherent states equation for the generalized q-deformed harmonic oscillator. In strong behavior limit (s --> 1) the previous result is resumed using the variational perturbation theory. We also describe the construction of their resolution of unity.

We present the deformed (for the presence of Calogero potential terms) one-dimensional quantum oscillator with the exceptional Lie superalgebra $F(4)$ as spectrum-generating superconformal algebra. The Hilbert space is given by a $16$-ple of square-integrable functions. The energy levels are $\frac{2}{3}+n$, with $n=0,1,2,\ldots$. The ground state is $7$ times degenerate. The excited states are $8$ times degenerate. The $(7,8,8,8,\ldots )$ semi-infinite tower of states is recovered from the $(7;8;1)$ supermultiplet of the ${\cal N}=8$ worldline supersymmetry. The model is unique, up to similar…
We consider the deformed harmonic oscillator as a discrete version of the Liouville theory and study this model in the presence of local integrable defects. From this, the time evolution of the defect degrees of freedom are determined, found in the form of the local equations of motion. We also revisit the continuous Liouville theory, deriving its local integrals of motion and comparing these with previous results from the sine-Gordon point of view. Finally, the generic Backlund type relations are presented, corresponding to the implementation of time-like and space-like impurities in the conti…
