A new deformed canonical commutation relation, generalizing various known deformations, is defined together with its structure function of deformation. We define a generalized $(q;α,β,γ;ν)$-deformed oscillator algebra and study the number of its characteristics. We describe the structure function of deformation, analyze the classification of irreducible representations and discuss the asymptotic spectrum behaviour of the Hamiltonian. For a special choice of the deformation parameters we construct the deformed oscillator with discrete spectrum of its "quantized coordinate" operator. We establish its connection with the (generalized) discrete Hermite I polynomials.

The aim of this paper is to study generalized q-analogs of the well-known q-deformed harmonic oscillators and to connect them with q-Hermite polynomials. We give a construction of the appropriate oscillator-like algebras and show that corresponding Hermite polynomials are generalization of the discrete q-Hermite I and the discrete q-Hermite II polynomials. We also construct generalized coherent states of Barut-Girardello type for oscillator-like systems connected with these polynomials.

We analyze systematically several deformations arising from two-dimensional harmonic oscillators which can be described in terms of $\cal{D}$-pseudo bosons. They all give rise to exactly solvable models, described by non self-adjoint hamiltonians whose eigenvalues and eigenvectors can be found adopting the quite general framework of the so-called $\cal{D}$-pseudo bosons. In particular, we show that several models previously introduced in the literature perfectly fit into this scheme.
In this paper, the algebras, representations, and thermostatistics of four types of fermionic q-oscillator models, called fermionic Newton (FN), Chaichian-Kulish-Ng (CKN), Parthasarathy-Viswanathan-Chaichian (PVC), Viswanathan-Parthasarathy-Jagannathan-Chaichian (VPJC), are discussed. We describe generally deformed Heisenberg algebras in one dimension. The condition for a generalized Leibniz rule is obtained and solved. We analyze conditions under which deformed quantum-mechanical problems have a Fock-space representation. One solution of these conditions leads to a q-deformed oscillator already studied by Lorek et al., and reduces to the harmonic oscillator only in the infinite-momentum frame. We study the SL(2,R) WZWN string model describing bosonic string theory in AdS_3 space-time as a deformed oscillator together with its mass spectrum and the string modified SL(2,R) uncertainty relation. We have found explicit expressions for both the Wigner and Husimi distribution functions for the stationary states of the $q$-oscillator model under consideration. We construct a linear basis for the polynomial eigenfunctions of a family of deformed Calogero-Moser-Sutherland operators naturally associated with hypergeometric polynomials. In our construction the eigenfunctions are obtained as linear combinations of polynomials which generalise the (super) Schur polynomials. As a byproduct, we obtain explicit series representations for the super Jack polynomials.

The $D$-dimensional $(β, β')$-two-parameter deformed algebra introduced by Kempf is generalized to a Lorentz-covariant algebra describing a ($D+1$)-dimensional quantized space-time. In the D=3 and $β=0$ case, the latter reproduces Snyder algebra. The deformed Poincaré transformations leaving the algebra invariant are identified. It is shown that there exists a nonzero minimal uncertainty in position (minimal length). We consider the deformed harmonic oscillator as a discrete version of the Liouville theory and study this model in the presence of local integrable defects. From this, the time evolution of the defect degrees of freedom are determined, found in the form of the local equations of motion.
