We study two-level q-deformed angular momentum states and us- ing q-deformed harmonic oscillators, we provide a framework for con- structing qubits and quantum gates. We also present the construction of some basic quantum gates including CNOT, SWAP, Toffoli and Fredkin.
We show that an infinite set of q-deformed relevant operators close a partial q-deformed Lie algebra under commutation with the Arik-Coon oscillator. We develop the equivalence between the two-dimensional Dirac oscillator and the anti-Jaynes-Cummings model within a q-deformed scenario. We solve the Hamiltonian spectrum and the time evolution for number and coherent initial states, focusing on the appearance of the Zitterbewegung effect. We show the lack of preservation of the q-deformed versions of the total angular momentum that reproduces a collapse-revival structure. We provide suitable relations for the non relativistic limit.

The deformed theory thus reduces to the undeformed theory in these extreme cases.

Quantum correlations in compound systems are of great importance, and they are fundamental resource for the development of quantum computation protocols and quantum information. In this work we construct bipartite pure coherent states using the $f$-deformed oscillator formalism and the Barut-Girardello deformation function. Also we construct the extension of these systems to mixed states using Werner like states. For the states constructed, we study the dependence of the entanglement and quantum discord upon the deformation and mixed parameters.

The notion of index is applied to analyze the phase operator problem associated with the photon. We clarify the absence of the hermitian phase operator on the basis of an index consideration. We point out an interesting analogy between the phase operator problem and the chiral anomaly in gauge theory, and an appearance of a new class of quantum anomaly is noted. Fractional supersymmetric quantum mechanics of order $λ$ is realized in terms of the generators of a generalized deformed oscillator algebra and a Z$_λ$-grading structure is imposed on the Fock space of the latter. Using the q,p-deformed oscillators as basic generating system, we obtain diverse classes (which form distinct sectors of functional continua) of novel versions of q-deformed oscillators, all of which share the property of "accidental" degeneracy within a fixed pair of energy levels E_{m} = E_{m+1}, m\ge 1, occurring at the real deformation parameter fixed by an appropriate value q(m) that depends on m and on particular model. In this Letter, 2D Dirac oscillator in the quantum deformed framework generated by the $κ$-Poincaré-Hopf algebra is considered. The problem is formulated using the $κ$-deformed Dirac equation. The resulting theory reveals that the energies and wave functions of the oscillator are modified by the deformation parameter.
