Let I be the ideal corresponding to a set of general points $p_1,...,p_n \in P^2$. There recently has been progress in showing that a naive lower bound for the Hilbert functions of symbolic powers $I^{(m)}$ is in fact attained when n>9. Here, for m sufficiently large, the minimal free graded resolution of $I^{(m)}$ is determined when n>9 is an even square, assuming only that this lower bound on the Hilbert function is attained. Under ostensibly stronger conditions (that are nonetheless expected always to hold), a similar result is shown to hold for odd squares, and for infinitely many m for each nonsquare n bigger than 9. All results hold for an arbitrary algebraically closed field k.
Two approaches for determining Hilbert functions of fat point subschemes of $\mathbb P^2$ are demonstrated. A complete determination of the Hilbert functions which occur for 9 double points is given using the first approach, extending results obtained in a previous paper using the second approach. In addition the second approach is used to obtain a complete determination of the Hilbert functions for $n\geq 9$ $m$-multiple points for every $m$ if the points are smooth points of an irreducible plane cubic curve. Additional results are obtained using the first approach for $n\geq 9$ double points…
The purpose of this note is to study initial sequences of zero-dimensional subschemes of Hirzebruch surfaces and classify subschemes whose initial sequence has the minimal possible growth.
Recent work of Ein-Lazarsfeld-Smith and Hochster-Huneke raised the problem of determining which symbolic powers of an ideal are contained in a given ordinary power of the ideal. Bocci-Harbourne defined a quantity called the resurgence to address this problem for homogeneous ideals in polynomial rings, with a focus on zero dimensional subschemes of projective space; the methods and results obtained there have much less to say about higher dimensional subschemes. Here we take the first steps toward extending this work to higher dimensional subschemes. We introduce new asymptotic versions of the …
By defining a fat point subscheme of $P^2$ to be a 0-dimensional subscheme defined by a sheaf of integrally closed ideals one extends the notion of fat point subschemes to allow infinitely near points. With this notion of fat points, this preprint determines the number of generators in each degree in a minimal homogeneous set of generators for the homogeneous ideal defining any fat point subscheme supported at points of any plane conic, smooth or not. Special cases for points on a cubic are also studied. All work is over an algebraically closed field of arbitrary characteristic.
A recent paper by the first and third authors together with Sabourin raised the question of what the possible Hilbert functions are for fat point subschemes of the form $2p_1+...+2p_r$, for all possible choices of $r$ distinct points in the projective plane. We study this problem for $r$ points in the plane over an algebraically closed field $k$ of arbitrary characteristic in case either $r \le 8$ or the points lie on a (possibly reducible) conic. In either case, it follows from work of the second author that there are only finitely many configuration types of points, where our notion of confi…
We consider the open problem of determining the graded Betti numbers for fat point subschemes supported at general points of the projective plane. We relate this problem to the open geometric problem of determining the splitting type of the pullback of the cotangent bundle on the plane to the normalization of certain rational plane curves. We give a conjecture for the graded Betti numbers which would determine them in all degrees but one for every fat point subscheme supported at general points of the plane. We also prove our Betti number conjecture in a broad range of cases. An appendix discu…
The graded Betti numbers of the minimal free resolution (and also therefore the Hilbert function) of the ideal of a fat point subscheme Z of P^2 are determined whenever Z is supported at any 6 or fewer distinct points. All results hold over an algebraically closed field k of arbitrary characteristic.
Let $F$ be a line bundle on the blow-up $X$ of $P^2$ at $r$ general points $p_1, ..., p_r$ and let $L$ be the pullback to $X$ of the line bundle coming from a line on $P^2$. Under reasonable hypotheses that are conjectured always to hold if the points $p_1, ..., p_r$ are sufficiently general, it is shown that the computation of the dimension of the cokernel of the natural map $μ_F:Γ(F)\otimesΓ(L)\toΓ(F\otimes L)$ reduces to the case that $F$ is ample. As an application, a complete determination of the dimension of the cokernel of $μ_F$ is obtained when $r\le 7$, thereby solving the Ideal Gener…
In previous papers the authors gave formulae for generating series of classes (in the Grothendieck ring of complex quasi-projective varieties) of Hilbert schemes of zero-dimensional subschemes on smooth varieties and on orbifolds in terms of certain local data and the, so called, power structure over the corresponding ring. Here we give an analogue of these formulae for equivariant (with respect to an action of a finite group on a smooth variety) Hilbert schemes of zero-dimensional subschemes and compute some local generating series for an action of the cyclic group on a smooth surface.
A locally free resolution of a subscheme is by definition an exact sequence consisting of locally free sheaves (except the ideal sheaf) which has uniqueness properties like a free resolution. The purpose of this paper is to characterize certain locally Cohen-Macaulay subschemes by means of locally free resolutions. First we achieve this for arithmetically Buchsbaum subschemes. This leads to the notion of an $Ω$-resolution and extends a result of Chang. Second we characterize quasi-Buchsbaum subschemes by means of weak $Ω$-resolutions. Finally, we describe the weak $Ω$-resolutions which belong …
The main result provides an algorithm for determining the minimal free resolution of ideals of fat point subschemes of ${\bf P}^2$ involving up to 8 general points with arbitrary multiplicities; the results hold over algebraically closed fields of any characteristic. The algorithm, which works by giving a formula in certain cases and a reduction to these cases otherwise, does not involve Gröbner bases, and so is very fast, even for very large multiplicities. Partial information is also obtained in certain cases with $n>8$.
For an arithmetically Cohen--Macaulay subscheme of projective space, there is a well-known bound for the highest degree of a minimal generator for the defining ideal of the subscheme, in terms of the Hilbert function. We prove a natural extension of this bound for arbitrary locally Cohen--Macaulay subschemes. We then specialize to curves in $\pthree$, and show that the curves whose defining ideals have generators of maximal degree satisfy an interesting cohomological property. The even liaison classes possessing such curves are characterized, and we show that within an even liaison class, all …
In this paper, we study the Waldschmidt constant of a generalized fat point subscheme $Z=m_1p_1+\cdots+m_rp_r$ of $\mathbb{P}^2$, where $p_1,\cdots,p_r$ are essentially distinct points on $\mathbb{P}^2$, satisfying the proximity inequalities. Furthermore, we prove its lower semi-continuity for $r\le 8$. Using this property, we also calculate the Waldschmidt constants of the fat point subschemes $Z=p_1+\cdots+p_5$ giving weak del Pezzo surfaces of degree 4.
We consider the Hilbert scheme Hilb^{d+1}(C^d) of (d+1) points in affine d-space C^d (d > 2), which includes the square of any maximal ideal. We describe equations for the most symmetric affine open subscheme of Hilb^{d+1}(C^d), in terms of Schur modules. In addition we prove that Hilb^{d+1}(C^d) is reducible for n>d>11.
This paper surveys certain problems involving numerical characters for ideals I(Z) defining fat points subschemes $Z=m_1p_1+...+m_np_n$ for general points $p_i\in {\bf P}^2$. It also presents some new results, and includes a suite of MACAULAY 2 scripts for computing actual or conjectured values of (or bounds on) these characters. One such script, for example, is findres, which implements an algorithm due to Fitchett, Harbourne and Holay for computing the syzygy modules in a minimal free resolution of the ideal I(Z) for any such Z with n<=8; since findres does not rely on a Gröbner basis calcul…
Motivated by questions in interpolation theory and on linear systems of rational varieties, one is interested in upper bounds for the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of arbitrary subschemes of fat points. An optimal upper bound, named after Segre, was conjectured by Trung and, independently, by Fattabi and Lorenzini. It is shown that this conjecture is true. Furthermore, an alternate regularity bound is established that improves the Segre bound in some cases. Among the arguments is a new partition result for matroids.
Recent work of Ein-Lazarsfeld-Smith and Hochster-Huneke raised the problem of which symbolic powers of an ideal are contained in a given ordinary power of the ideal. Bocci-Harbourne developed methods to address this problem, which involve asymptotic numerical characters of symbolic powers of the ideals. Most of the work done up to now has been done for ideals defining 0-dimensional subschemes of projective space. Here we focus on certain subschemes given by a union of lines in ${\bf P}^3$ which can also be viewed as points in ${\bf P}^1\times {\bf P}^1$. We also obtain results on the closely r…
Tropical ideals, introduced in arXiv:1609.03838, define subschemes of tropical toric varieties. We prove that the top-dimensional parts of their varieties are balanced polyhedral complexes of the same dimension as the ideal. This means that every subscheme of a tropical toric variety defined by a tropical ideal has an associated class in the Chow ring of the toric variety. A key tool in the proof is that specialization of variables in a tropical ideal yields another tropical ideal; this plays the role of hyperplane sections in the theory. We also show that elimination theory (projection of var…
We study the Hilbert functions of fat points in P^1 x P^1. If Z is an arbitrary fat point subscheme of P^1 x P^1, then it can be shown that for every i and j the values of the Hilbert function H_Z(l,j) and H_Z(i,l) eventually become constant for l >> 0. We show how to determine these eventual values by using only the multiplicities of the points, and the relative positions of the points in P^1 x P^1. This enables us to compute all but a finite number values of H_Z without using the coordinates of points. We also characterize the ACM fat points schemes using our description of the eventual beha…
The holomorphy conjecture predicts that the local Igusa zeta function associated to a hypersurface and a character is holomorphic on $\mathbb{C}$ whenever the order of the character does not divide the order of any eigenvalue of the local monodromy of the hypersurface. In this note we propose the holomorphy conjecture for arbitrary subschemes at the level of the topological zeta function and we prove this conjecture for subschemes defined by an ideal that is generated by a finite number of complex polynomials in two variables.
In order to determine the Hilbert function of the ideal of a fat point subscheme of projective space, we show that it is enough to determine, both for the subscheme itself and the subschemes obtained from it by successively adjoining to it additional general points, the least degrees in which the ideals of the subschemes are nonzero. This point of view gives rise to the following conjecture: if C is any reduced irreducible curve on a surface X obtained by blowing up P^2 at any finite number of generic points, then C^2 > g-2, where g is the arithmetic genus of C. This conjecture is shown to be …
It is well known that for a subscheme $V$ in ${\mathbb P}^{n}$ of codimension two, the conditions (1) $V$ is ACM, and (2) $V$ is "licci" (i.e. $V$ is in the liaison class of a complete intersection) are equivalent. In higher codimension, (2) implies (1) but the converse is false. For Gorenstein liaison the analog of (2) is: $(2')$ $V$ is "glicci" (i.e. $V$ is in the Gorenstein liaison class of a complete intersection). It remains true that $(2')$ implies (1) but now the converse is an important open question. Previously the authors described a mechanism for lifting monomial ideals to reduced u…
The application of methods of computational algebra has recently introduced new tools for the study of Hilbert schemes. The key idea is to define flat families of ideals endowed with a scheme structure whose defining equations can be determined by algorithmic procedures. For this reason, several authors developed new methods, based on the combinatorial properties of Borel-fixed ideals, that allow to associate to each ideal $J$ of this type a scheme $\mathbf{Mf}_{J}$, called $J$-marked scheme. In this paper we provide a solid functorial foundation to marked schemes and show that the algorithmic…
Given an ideal $I$, the containment problem is concerned about finding the values $m$ and $n$ such that the $m$-th symbolic power of $I$ is contained in its $n$-th ordinary power. In this paper we consider this problem focusing on two classes of ideals of fat points. In particular we study the ideal of $n$ points on a line in $\mathbb{P}^N$ and the ideal of three nonlinear points in $\mathbb{P}^N$ for $N\geq2$.
Let $X_Σ$ be a smooth complete toric variety defined by a fan $Σ$ and let $V=V(I)$ be a subscheme of $X_Σ$ defined by an ideal $I$ homogeneous with respect to the grading on the total coordinate ring of $X_Σ$. We show a new expression for the Segre class $s(V,X_Σ)$ in terms of the projective degrees of a rational map specified by the generators of $I$ when each generator corresponds to a numerically effective (nef) divisor. Restricting to the case where $X_Σ$ is a smooth projective toric variety and dehomogenizing the total homogeneous coordinate ring of $X_Σ$ via a dehomogenizing ideal we als…
This paper is a natural sequel to [22] in that it tackles problems of the same nature. Here one aims at the ideal theoretic and homological properties of a class of ideals of general plane fat points whose second symbolic powers hold virtual multiplicities of proper homaloidal types. For this purpose one carries a detailed examination of their linear systems at the initial degree, a good deal of the results depending on the method of applying the classical arithmetic quadratic transformations of Hudson--Nagata. A subsidiary guide to understand these ideals through their initial linear systems …
One considers plane Cremona maps with proper base points and the {\em base ideal} generated by the linear system of forms defining the map. The object of this work is the interweave between the algebraic properties of the base ideal and those of the ideal of these points fattened by the virtual multiplicities arising from the linear system. One reveals conditions which naturally regulate this association, with particular emphasis on the homological side. While most classical numerical inequalities concern the three highest virtual multiplicities, here one emphasizes also the role of one single…
A central problem in liaison theory is to decide whether every arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay subscheme of projective $n$-space can be linked by a finite number of arithmetically Gorenstein schemes to a complete intersection. We show that this can be indeed achieved if the given scheme is also generically Gorenstein and we allow the links to take place in an $(n+1)$-dimensional projective space. For example, this result applies to all reduced arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay subschemes. We also show that every union of fat points in projective 3-space can be linked in the same space to a union of …
We investigate the minimal graded free resolutions of ideals of at most n+1 fat points in general position in P^n. Our main theorem is that these ideals are componentwise linear. This result yields a number of corollaries, including the multiplicity conjecture of Herzog, Huneke, and Srinivasan in this case. On the computational side, using an iterated mapping cone process, we compute formulas for the graded Betti numbers of ideals associated to two fat points in P^n, verifying a conjecture of Fatabbi, and at most n+1 general double points in P^n.
The Hilbert scheme of $n$ points in the affine plane contains the open subscheme parametrizing $n$ distinct points in the affine plane, and the closed subscheme parametrizing ideals of codimension $n$ supported at the origin of the affine plane. Both schemes admit Białynicki-Birula decompositions into moduli spaces of ideals with prescribed lexicographic Gröbner deformations. We show that both decompositions are stratifications in the sense that the closure of each stratum is a union of certain other strata. We show that the corresponding two partial orderings on the set of of monomial ideals …
Conjectures for the Hilbert function of the m-th symbolic power of the ideal of n general points of P2 are verified for infinitely many m for each square n > 9, using an approach developed by the authors in a previous paper. In those cases that n is even, conjectures for the resolution are also verified. Previously, by work of Evain (for the Hilbert function) and of Harbourne, Holay and Fitchett (for the resolution), these conjectures were known for infinitely many m for a given n > 9 only for n being a power of 4.
Gotzmann's Persistence states that the growth of an arbitrary ideal can be controlled by comparing it to the growth of the lexicographic ideal. This is used, for instance, in finding equations which cut out the Hilbert scheme (of subschemes of $\mathbf{P}^n$ with fixed Hilbert polynomial) sitting inside an appropriate Grassmannian. We introduce the notion of an {\it extremal ideal} which extends the notion of the lex ideal to other term orders. We then state and prove a version of Gotzmann's theorem for these ideals, valid in an open subset of a Grassmannian.
This paper is concerned with determining the number of generators in each degree for minimal sets of homogeneous generators for saturated ideals defining fat point subschemes $Z=m_1p_1+ ... +m_rp_r$ for general sets of points $p_i$ of $P^2$. For thin points (i.e., m_i=1 for all i), a solution is known, in terms of a maximal rank property. Although this property in general fails for fat points, we show it holds in an appropriate asymptotic sense. In the uniform (i.e., $m_1= ... =m_r$) case, we determine all failures of this maximal rank property for $r\le 9$, and we develop evidence for the con…
Let $k$ be a commutative ring and $S=k[x_0, \ldots, x_n]$ be a polynomial ring over $k$ with a monomial order. For any monomial ideal $J$, there exists an affine $k$-scheme of finite type, called Gröbner scheme, which parameterizes all homogeneous reduced Gröbner bases in $S$ whose initial ideal is $J$. Here we functorially show that the Gröbner scheme is a locally closed subscheme of the Hilbert scheme if $J$ is a saturated ideal. In the process, we also show that the Gröbner scheme consists of complete intersections if $J$ defines a complete intersection.
Our results concern minimal graded free resolutions of fat point ideals for points in a hyperplane. Suppose, for example, that I(m,d) is the ideal defining r given points of multiplicity m in the projective space P^d. Assume that the given points lie in a hyperplane P^{d-1} in P^d, and that the ground field k is algebraically closed of characteristic 0. We give an explicit minimal graded free resolution of I(m,d) in k[P^d] in terms of the minimal graded free resolutions of the ideals I(j,d-1) in k[P^{d-1}] with j < m+1. As a corollary, we give the following formula for the Poincare polynomial …
Let Hilb^p be the Hilbert scheme parametrizing the closed subschemes of P^n with Hilbert polynomial p \in Q[t] over a field K of characteristic zero. By bounding below the cohomological Hilbert functions of the points of Hilb^p we define locally closed subspaces of the Hilbert scheme. The aim of this thesis is to show that some of these subspaces are connected. For this we exploit the ideals constructed by D. Mall. It turns out that these ideals are sequentially Cohen-Macaulay and that their initial ideals and their generic initial ideals coincide for any admissible term order.
Let Hilb^p be the Hilbert scheme parametrizing the closed subschemes of P^n with Hilbert polynomial p\in Q[t] over a field K of characteristic zero. By bounding below the cohomological Hilbert functions of the points of Hilb^p we define locally closed subspaces of the Hilbert scheme. The aim of this paper is to show that some of these subspaces are connected. For this we exploit the edge ideals constructed by D. Mall. It turns out that these ideals are sequentially Cohen-Macaulay and that their initial ideals with respect to the reverse lexicographic term order are generic initial ideals.
We study the symbolic and regular powers of ideals I for a family of special configurations of lines in P^3. For this family, we show that I^(m) = I^m for all integers m if and only if I^(3) = I^3. We use these configurations to answer a question of Huneke that asks whether I^(m) = I^m for all m if equality holds when m equals the big height of the ideal I.
This paper is a sequel to the paper \cite{refGH}. We relate the matroid notion of a combinatorial geometry to a generalization which we call a configuration type. Configuration types arise when one classifies the Hilbert functions and graded Betti numbers for fat point subschemes supported at $n\le8$ essentially distinct points of the projective plane. Each type gives rise to a surface $X$ obtained by blowing up the points. We classify those types such that $n=6$ and $-K_X$ is nef. The surfaces obtained are precisely the desingularizations of the normal cubic surfaces. By classifying configura…
Given a symbolic power of a homogeneous ideal in a polynomial ring, we study the problem of determining which powers of the ideal contain it. For ideals defining 0-dimensional subschemes of projective space, as an immediate corollary of our previous paper (arXiv:0706.3707) we give a complete solution in terms of the least degrees of nonzero elements of the symbolic powers, under the condition that the ideal is generated in a single degree and such that that degree is the regularity of the ideal (see Corollary 1.2). Using geometric methods, we also give complete solutions for ideals of points i…
A current research theme is to compare symbolic powers of an ideal $I$ with the regular powers of $I$. In this paper, we focus on the case that $I=I_X$ is an ideal defining an almost complete intersection (ACI) sets of points $X$ in $\mathbb{P}^1\times\mathbb{P}^1$. In particular, we describe a minimal free bigraded resolution of a non arithmetically Cohen-Macaulay (also non homogeneus) set of fat points $\mathcal Z$ whose support is an ACI. We call $\mathcal Z$ a fat ACI. We also show that its symbolic and ordinary powers are equal, i.e, $I_{\mathcal Z}^{(m)}=I_{\mathcal Z}^{m}$ for any $m\ge…
The Hilbert scheme H^d_n of n points in A^d contains an irreducible component R^d_n which generically represents n distinct points in A^d. We show that when n is at most 8, the Hilbert scheme H^d_n is reducible if and only if n = 8 and d >= 4. In the simplest case of reducibility, the component R^4_8 \subset H^4_8 is defined by a single explicit equation which serves as a criterion for deciding whether a given ideal is a limit of distinct points. To understand the components of the Hilbert scheme, we study the closed subschemes of H_n^d which parametrize those ideals which are homogeneous and …
We study the connection between the generation of a fat point scheme supported at general points in the plane and the behaviour of the cotangent bundle with respect to some rational curves particularly relevant for the scheme. We put forward two conjectures, giving examples and partial results in support of them.
B. Harbourne and C. Huneke conjectured that for any ideal $I$ of fat points in $P^N$ its $r$-th symbolic power $I^{(r)}$ should be contained in $M^{(N-1)r}I^r$, where $M$ denotes the homogeneous maximal ideal in the ring of coordinates of $P^N$. We show that this conjecture holds for the ideal of any number of simple (not fat) points in general position in $P^3$ and for at most $N+1$ simple points in general position in $P^N$. As a corollary we give a positive answer to Chudnovsky Conjecture in the case of generic points in $P^3$.
In this paper we study the Hilbert scheme, Hilb(P), of equidimensional locally Cohen-Macaulay codimension 2 subschemes, with a special look to surfaces in P^4 and 3-folds in P^5, and the Hilbert scheme stratification H_{c} of constant cohomology. For every (X) in Hilb(P) we define a number δ_X in terms of the graded Betti numbers of the homogeneous ideal of X and we prove that 1 + δ_X - \dim_{(X)} H_{c} and 1 + δ_X - \dim T_{c} are CI-biliaison invariants where T_{c} is the tangent space of H_{c} at (X). As a corollary we get a formula for the dimension of any generically smooth component of H…
Let Z be a fat point scheme in P^2 supported on general points. Here we prove that if the multiplicities are at most 3 and the length of Z is sufficiently high then the number of generators of the homogeneous ideal I_Z in each degree is as small as numerically possible. Since it is known that Z has maximal Hilbert function, this implies that Z has the expected minimal free resolution.
We give a lower bound for the degree of a finite apolar subscheme of a symmetric form F, in terms of the degrees of the generators of the annihilator ideal of F. In the special case, when F is a monomial x_0^d_0 x_2^d_2... x_n^d_n with d_0<= d_1<=...<=d_n-1<= d_n we deduce that the minimal length of an apolar subscheme of F is (d_0+1)...(d_n-1+1), and if d_0=..=d_n, then this minimal length coincides with the rank of F.
We propose an explicit formula for the Segre classes of monomial subschemes of nonsingular varieties, such as schemes defined by monomial ideals in projective space. The Segre class is expressed as a formal integral on a region bounded by the corresponding Newton polyhedron. We prove this formula for monomial ideals in two variables and verify it for some families of examples in any number of variables.
The purpose of this note is twofold. We present first a vanishing theorem for families of linear series with base ideal being a fat points ideal. We apply then this result in order to give a partial proof of a conjecture raised by Bocci, Harbourne and Huneke concerning containment relations between ordinary and symbolic powers of planar point ideals.
We generalize the Bialynicki-Birula decomposition to singular schemes and apply it to the Hilbert scheme of points on an affine space. We find an infinite family of small, elementary and generically smooth components of the Hilbert scheme of points of the affine four-space. Our method gives easily verifiable sufficient conditions for proving that a point of the Hilbert scheme is smooth and lies on an elementary component. We also present a necessary condition for smoothability of a finite subscheme given by a homogeneous ideal.
For a scheme of fat points $Z$ defined by the saturated ideal $\mathcal{I}_Z$, the regularity index computes the Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of the Cohen-Macaulay ring $R/\mathcal{I}_Z.$ For points in " general position" we improve the bound for the regularity index computed by Segre for $\mathbb {P}^2$ and generalised by Catalisano, Trung and Valla for $\mathbb {P}^n$. Moreover, we prove that the generalised Segre's bound conjectured by Fatabbi and Lorenzini holds for $n+3$ arbitrary points in $\mathbb {P}^n$. We propose a modification of Segre's conjecture for arbitrary points and we disc…
Let S be a K3 surface and S^[n] the Hilbert scheme of length n subschemes of S. Over the cartesian square of S^[n] there exists a natural reflexive rank 2n-2 coherent sheaf E, which is locally free away from the diagonal. The fiber of E, over a pair of ideal sheaves of distinct subschemes, is the vector space of extensions of the first ideal sheaf by the second. We prove that E is slope stable if the rank of the Picard group of S is less than or equal to 19. The Chern classes of End(E) are known to be monodromy invariant. Consequently, the sheaf End(E) is polystable-hyperholomorphic.
Borel-fixed ideals play a key role in the study of Hilbert schemes. Indeed each component and each intersection of components of a Hilbert scheme contains at least one Borel-fixed point, i.e. a point corresponding to a subscheme defined by a Borel-fixed ideal. Moreover Borel-fixed ideals have good combinatorial properties, which make them very interesting in an algorithmic perspective. In this paper, we propose an implementation of the algorithm computing all the saturated Borel-fixed ideals with number of variables and Hilbert polynomial assigned, introduced from a theoretical point of view i…
