Quantum universal enveloping algebras, quantum elliptic algebras and double (deformed) Yangians provide fundamental algebraic structures relevant for many integrable systems. They are described in the FRT formalism by R-matrices which are solutions of elliptic, trigonometric or rational type of the Yang--Baxter equation with spectral parameter or its generalization known as the Gervais--Neveu--Felder equation. While quantum groups and double Yangians appear as quasi-triangular Hopf algebras, this is no longer the case for elliptic algebras and the various deformations of Yangian type algebras. These structures are dealt with the framework of quasi-Hopf algebras. These algebras can be obtained from Hopf algebras through particular Drinfel'd twists satisfying the so-called shifted cocycle condition. We review these different structures and the pattern of connections between them.
We construct universal twists connecting the centrally extended double Yangian DY(sl(2))_c with deformed double Yangians DY_r(sl(2))_c, thereby establishing the quasi-Hopf structures of the latter.
Yangian Double $DY(A(m,n))$ of Lie Superalgebra $A(m,n)$ is described in terms of generators and defining relations. It is proved triangular decomposition for Yangian $Y(A(m,n))$ and its quantum double $DY(A(m,n))$ as a corollary of PBW theorem. It is introduced the normally ordered bases in Yangian and its dual Hopf superalgebra in quantum double. It is calculated the pairing formulas between the elements of its bases. It is received the formula of Universal $R$-matrix of Yangian Double. The formula for Universal $R$-matrix of Yangian, which was introduced by V. Drinfel'd, is received also.
We describe the double Yangian of the general linear Lie algebra $\mathfrak{gl}_N$ by following a general scheme of Drinfeld. This description is based on the construction of the universal $R$-matrix for the Yangian. To make the exposition self contained, we include the proofs of all necessary facts about the Yangian itself. In particular, we describe the centre of the Yangian by using its Hopf algebra structure, and provide a proof of the analogue of the Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for the Yangian based on its representation theory. This proof extends to the double Yangian, thus giving a d…
We derive a free boson representation of the Yangian double $DY_\hbar(sl_N)$ with arbitrary level k using the observation that there is a correspondence between the q-affine algebra and Yangian double associated with the same Cartan matrix. Vertex operator and screening currents are not obtained in the same way.
We give a new realization of $Y(sl_3)$ via Cartan-Weyl elements. An algebraic description of Yangian Double $DY(sl_3)$, explicit comultiplication formulas and universal R-matrix are obtained in these terms.
The Yangian double $\text{DY}_{\hbar}(\mathfrak{g}_N)$ is introduced for the classical types of $\mathfrak{g}_N=\mathfrak{o}_{2n+1}$, $\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}$, $\mathfrak{o}_{2n}$. Via the Gauss decomposition of the generator matrix, the Yangian double is given the Drinfeld presentation. In addition, bosonization of level $1$ realizations for the Yangian double $\text{DY}_{\hbar}(\mathfrak{g}_N)$ of non-simply-laced types are explicitly constructed.
We introduce super Yangian double $DY_\hbar[gl(m|n)]$ and its central extension $\widehat{DY_\hbar[gl(m|n)]}$. We give their defining relations in terms of current generators and obtain Drinfeld comultiplication.
We use the super version of RS construction method and Gauss decomposition to obtain Drinfeld's currents realization of super Yangian double $DY(gl(1|1))$ with center extension

A self-contained description of algebraic structures, obtained by combinations of various limit procedures applied to vertex and face sl(2) elliptic quantum affine algebras, is given. New double Yangians structures of dynamical type are in particular defined. Connections between these structures are established. A number of them take the form of twist-like actions. These are conjectured to be evaluations of universal twists.
Central extension $\DYg$ of the Double of the Yangian is defined for a simple Lie algebra ${\bf g}$ with complete proof for ${\bf g} =sl_2$. Basic representations and intertwining operators are constructed for $\DY2$.
We construct a Hopf algebra cocycle in the Yangian double $DY(SL_{2})$, conjugating Drinfeld's coproduct to the usual one. To do that, we factorize the twist between two ``opposite'' versions of Drinfeld's coproduct, introduced in earlier work by V. Rubtsov and the first author, using the decomposition of the algebra in its negative and non-negative modes subalgebras.
Based on Drinfeld realization of super Yangian Double DY(gl(1|1)), its pairing relations and universal R-matrix are given. By taking evaluation representation of universal R-matrix, another realization $L^{\pm}(u)$ of DY(gl(1|1)) is obtained. These two realizations of DY(gl(1|1)) are related by the supersymmetric extension of Ding-Frenkel map.
The traces over infinite dimensional representations of the central extended Yangian double for the product of operators which intertwine these representations are calculated. For the special combinations of the intertwining operators the traces are identified with form factors of local operators in SU(2)-invariant Thirring model. This identification is based on the identities which are deformed analogs of the Gauss-Manin connection identities for the hyperelliptic curves.
On the basis of `$RTT=TTR$' formalism, we introduce the quantum double of the Yangian $Y_{\hbar}(\gtg)$ for $\gtg=\gtgl_N,\gtsl_N$ with a central extension. The Gauss decomposition of T-matrices gives us the so-called Drinfel'd generators. Using these generators, we present some examples of both finite and infinite dimensional representations that are quite natural deformations of the corresponding affine counterpart.
Studying the algebraic structure of the double ${\cal D}Y(g)$ of the yangian $Y(g)$ we present the triangular decomposition of ${\cal D}Y(g)$ and a factorization for the canonical pairing of the yangian with its dual inside ${\cal D}Y(g)$. As a consequence we obtain an explicit formula for the universal R-matrix $R$ of ${\cal D}Y(g)$ and demonstrate how it works in evaluation representations of $Y(sl_2)$. We interprete one-dimensional factor arising in concrete representations of $R$ as bilinear form on highest weight polynomials of irreducible representations of $Y(g)$ and express this form i…
We construct universal Drinfel'd twists defining deformations of Hopf algebra structures based upon simple Lie algebras and contragredient simple Lie superalgebras. In particular, we obtain deformed and dynamical double Yangians. Some explicit realisations as evaluation representations are given for sl(N), sl(1|2) and osp(1|2).
Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra with associated Yangian $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$ and Yangian double $\mathrm{D}Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$. An elementary result of fundamental importance to the theory of Yangians is that, for each $c\in \mathbb{C}$, there is an automorphism $τ_c$ of $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$ corresponding to the translation $t\mapsto t+c$ of the complex plane. Replacing $c$ by a formal parameter $z$ yields the so-called formal shift homomorphism $τ_z$ from $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$ to the polynomial algebra $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}[z]$. We prove that $τ_z$ uniquely extends t…
Free field representation of level-$k (\not=0,-2)$ Yangian double ${\cal D}Y(sl_2)_k$ and a corresponding deformation of Wakimoto modules are presented. We also realize two types of vertex operators intertwining these modules.
We present a quantum version of the construction of the KZ system of equations as a flat connection on the spaces of coinvariants of representations of tensor products of Kac-Moody algebras. We consider here representations of a tensor product of Yangian doubles and compute the coinvariants of a deformation of the subalgebra generated by the regular functions of a rational curve with marked points. We observe that Drinfeld's quantum Casimir element can be viewed as a deformation of the zero-mode of the Sugawara tensor in the Yangian double. These ingredients serve to define a compatible system…
We present the Drinfel'd realisation of the super Yangian Y(osp(1|2)), including the explicit expression for the coproduct. We show in particular that it is necessary to introduce supplementary Serre relations. The construction of its quantum double is carried out. This allows us to give the universal R-matrix of DY(osp(1|2)).
We investigate different Hopf algebras associated to Yang's solution of quantum Yang-Baxter equation. It is shown that for the precise definition of the algebra one needs the commutation relations for the deformed algebra of formal currents and the specialization of the Riemann problem for the currents. Two different Riemann problems are considered. They lead to the central extended Yangian double associated with ${sl}_2$ and to the degeneration of scaling limit of elliptic affine algebra. Unless the defining relations for the generating functions of the both algebras coincide their properties…
Using vertex operators, we build representations of the Yangian of a simply laced Kac-Moody algebra and of its double. As a corollary, we prove the PBW property for simply laced affine Yangians.
Scaling limits when q tends to 1 of the elliptic vertex algebras A_qp(sl(N)) are defined for any N, extending the previously known case of N=2. They realise deformed, centrally extended double Yangian structures DY_r(sl(N)). As in the quantum affine algebras U_q(sl(N)), and quantum elliptic affine algebras A_qp(sl(N)), these algebras contain subalgebras at critical values of the central charge c=-N-Mr (M integer, 2r=ln p/ln q), which become Abelian when c=-N or 2r=Nh for h integer. Poisson structures and quantum exchange relations are derived for their abstract generators.
We continue the investigation of the central extended Yangian double [S. Khoroshkin, q-alg/9602031]. In this paper we study the intertwining operators for certain infinite dimensional representations of $\Yd$, which are deformed analogs of the highest weight representations of the affine algebra $\aff$ at level 1. We give bosonized expressions for intertwining operators, verify that they generate an algebra isomorphic to Zamolodchikov--Faddeev algebra for the $SU(2)$-invariant Thirring model. We compose from them $L$-operators by Miki's prescription and verify that they coincide with $L$-opera…
An action of the Yangian of the general Lie algebra gl(N) is defined on every irreducible integrable highest weight module of affine gl(N) with level greater than 1. This action is derived, by means of the Drinfeld duality and a subsequent semi-infinite limit, from a certain induced representation of the degenerate double affine Hecke algebra H. Each vacuum module of affine gl(N) is decomposed into irreducible Yangian subrepresentations by means of the intertwiners of H. Components of this decomposition are parameterized by semi-infinite skew Young diagrams.
An hbar-deformed Virasoro Poisson algebra is obtained using the Wakimoto realization of the Sugawara operator for the Yangian double DY_\hbar(sl_2)_c at the critical level c=-2.
We prove that the Yangian associated to an untwisted symmetric affine Kac-Moody Lie algebra is isomorphic to the Drinfeld double of a shuffle algebra. The latter is constructed by the authors in arXiv:1407.7994 as an algebraic formalism of the cohomological Hall algebras. As a consequence, we obtain the Poincare-Birkhoff-Witt (PBW) theorem for this class of affine Yangians. Another independent proof of the PBW theorem is given recently by Guay-Regelskis-Wendlandt.
We propose a rational quantum deformed nonlocal currents in the homogenous space $SU(2)_k/U(1)$, and in terms of it and a free boson field a representation for the Drinfeld currents of Yangian double at a general level $k=c$ is obtained. In the classical limit $\hbar \to 0$, the quantum nonlocal currents become $SU(2)_k$ parafermion, and the realization of Yangian double becomes the parafermion realization of $SU(2)_k$ current algebra.
A quantization of a non-standard rational solution of CYBE for $sl_2$ is given explicitly. We obtain the quantization with the help of a twisting of the usual Yangian $Y(sl_2$. This quantum object (deformed Yangian $Y_{η,ξ}(sl_2))$ is a two-parametric deformation of the universal enveloping algebra $U(sl_2[u])$ of the positive current algebra $sl_2[u]$. We consider the pseudotriangular structure on $Y_{η,ξ}(sl_2)$, the quantum double $DY_{η,ξ}(sl_2)$ its the universal R-matrix and also the RTT-realization of $Y_{η,ξ}(sl_2)$.

The quiver Yangian, an infinite-dimensional algebra introduced recently in arXiv:2003.08909, is the algebra underlying BPS state counting problems for toric Calabi-Yau three-folds. We introduce trigonometric and elliptic analogues of quiver Yangians, which we call toroidal quiver algebras and elliptic quiver algebras, respectively. We construct the representations of the shifted toroidal and elliptic algebras in terms of the statistical model of crystal melting. We also derive the algebras and their representations from equivariant localization of three-dimensional $\mathcal{N}=2$ supersymmetr…
We prove the equivalence of two presentations of deformed double current algebras associated to a complex simple Lie algebra, the first one obtained via a degeneration of affine Yangians while the other one naturally appeared in the construction of the elliptic Casimir connection. We also construct a specific central element of these algebras and, in type A, show that they contain a very large center for certain values of their parameters.
We describe representation theory of the elliptic quantum group $E_{τ,η}(sl_2)$. It turns out that the representation theory is parallel to the representation theory of the Yangian $Y(sl_2)$ and the quantum loop group $ U_q(\widetilde { sl }_2)$.
Take the matrix Lie superalgebra $gl_{N|N}$ with the standard generators $E_{ij}$ where $i,j=-N,...,-1,1,...,N$. Define an involutive automorphism of $gl_{N|N}$ by sending $E_{ij}$ to $E_{-i,-j}$. Then the corresponding twisted subalgebra $g$ in the polynomial current Lie superalgebra $gl_{N|N}[u]$, has a natural Lie co-superalgebra structure. Here we quantise the universal enveloping algebra $U(g)$ as a co-Poisson Hopf superalgebra. For the quantised algebra we give a description of the centre, and construct the double in the sense of Drinfeld. We also construct a class of irreducible represe…

We give a survey on the developments in a certain theory of quantum vertex algebras, including a conceptual construction of quantum vertex algebras and their modules and a connection of double Yangians and Zamolodchikov-Faddeev algebras with quantum vertex algebras.
Affine quantum groups are certain pseudo-quasitriangular Hopf algebras that arise in mathematical physics in the context of integrable quantum field theory, integrable quantum spin chains, and solvable lattice models. They provide the algebraic framework behind the spectral parameter dependent Yang-Baxter equation. One can distinguish three classes of affine quantum groups, each leading to a different dependence of the R-matrices on the spectral parameter: Yangians lead to rational R-matrices, quantum affine algebras lead to trigonometric R-matrices and elliptic quantum groups lead to elliptic…
This is a sequel to \cite{li-qva1} and \cite{li-qva2} in a series to study vertex algebra-like structures arising from various algebras such as quantum affine algebras and Yangians. In this paper, we study two versions of the double Yangian $DY_{\hbar}(sl_{2})$, denoted by $DY_{q}(sl_{2})$ and $DY_{q}^{\infty}(sl_{2})$ with $q$ a nonzero complex number. For each nonzero complex number $q$, we construct a quantum vertex algebra $V_{q}$ and prove that every $DY_{q}(sl_{2})$-module is naturally a $V_{q}$-module. We also show that $DY_{q}^{\infty}(sl_{2})$-modules are what we call $V_{q}$-modules-…
Following the work with Jimbo and Miwa, we introduce a certain degeneration of the elliptic algebra $A_{q,p}(\widehat{sl_2})$ and its boson realization. We investigate its rational limit. The limit is the central extension of the Yangian double DY(sl_2) at level one. We give a new boson realization of it. Based on these algebras, we reformulate the Smirnov's form factor bootstrap approach to the sine-Gordon theory and the SU(2) invariant Thirring model. A conjectural integral formula for form factor in the sine-Gordon theory is derived.
The elliptic-matrix quantum Olshanetsky-Perelomov problem is introduced for arbitrary root systems by means of an elliptic generalization of the Dunkl operators. Its equivalence with the double affine generalization of the Knizhnik-Zamolodchikov equation (in the induced representations) is established.
Starting with any R-matrix with spectral parameter, obeying the Yang-Baxter equation and a unitarity condition, we construct the corresponding infinite dimensional quantum group U_{R} in term of a deformed oscillators algebra A_R. The realization we present is an infinite series, very similar to a vertex operator. Then, considering the integrable hierarchy naturally associated to A_{R}, we show that U_{R} provides its integrals of motion. The construction can be applied to any infinite dimensional quantum group, e.g. Yangians or elliptic quantum groups. Taking as an example the R-matrix of Y(N…
