Scaling limits when q tends to 1 of the elliptic vertex algebras A_qp(sl(N)) are defined for any N, extending the previously known case of N=2. They realise deformed, centrally extended double Yangian structures DY_r(sl(N)). As in the quantum affine algebras U_q(sl(N)), and quantum elliptic affine algebras A_qp(sl(N)), these algebras contain subalgebras at critical values of the central charge c=-N-Mr (M integer, 2r=ln p/ln q), which become Abelian when c=-N or 2r=Nh for h integer. Poisson structures and quantum exchange relations are derived for their abstract generators.
We construct universal twists connecting the centrally extended double Yangian DY(sl(2))_c with deformed double Yangians DY_r(sl(2))_c, thereby establishing the quasi-Hopf structures of the latter.
In this paper a class of new quantum groups is presented: deformed Yangians. They arise from rational solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation of the form $c_2 /u + const$ . The universal quantum $R$-matrix for a deformed Yangian is described. Its image in finite-dimensional representaions of the Yangian gives new matrix rational solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation (YBE).
Twisted Hopf algebra $sl_ξ(2)$ gives rise to a deformation of the Yangian ${\cal Y}(sl(2))$. The corresponding deformations of the integrable XXX-spin chain and the Gaudin model are discussed.
We present the Drinfel'd realisation of the super Yangian Y(osp(1|2)), including the explicit expression for the coproduct. We show in particular that it is necessary to introduce supplementary Serre relations. The construction of its quantum double is carried out. This allows us to give the universal R-matrix of DY(osp(1|2)).
We discuss the integrability structure of deformed, four-dimensional N=4 super Yang-Mills theories using Yangians. We employ a recent procedure by Beisert and Roiban that generalizes the beta deformation of Lunin and Maldacena to produce N=1 superconformal gauge theories, which have the superalgebra SU(2,2|1)xU(1)xU(1). The deformed theories, including those with the more general twist, were shown to have retained their integrable structure. Here we examine the Yangian algebra of these deformed theories. In a five field subsector, we compute the two cases of SU(2)xU(1)xU(1)xU(1) and SU(2|1)xU(…
A self-contained description of algebraic structures, obtained by combinations of various limit procedures applied to vertex and face sl(2) elliptic quantum affine algebras, is given. New double Yangians structures of dynamical type are in particular defined. Connections between these structures are established. A number of them take the form of twist-like actions. These are conjectured to be evaluations of universal twists.
We construct highest-weight modules and a Yangian extension of the centrally extended sl(1|1)^2 superalgebra, that is a symmetry of the worldsheet scattering associated with the AdS3/CFT3 duality. We demonstrate that the R-matrix intertwining atypical modules is of a trigonometric type. We also consider a quantum deformation of this superalgebra, its modules, and obtain a quantum affine extension of the Drinfeld-Jimbo type that describes a deformed worldsheet scattering.
It is well known through a recent work of Bernard, Gaudin, Haldane and Pasquier (BGHP) that the usual spin Calogero-Sutherland (CS) model, containing particles with $M$ internal degrees of freedom, respects the $Y(gl_M)$ Yangian symmetry. By following and suitably modifying the approach of BGHP, in this article we construct a novel class of spin CS models which exhibit multi-parameter deformed or `nonstandard' variants of $Y(gl_M)$ Yangian symmetry. An interesting feature of such CS Hamiltonians is that they contain many-body spin dependent interactions, which can be calculated directly from t…
This paper develops a new connection between supersymmetric gauge theories and the Yangian. I show that a twisted, deformed version of the pure N=1 supersymmetric gauge theory is controlled by the Yangian, in the same way that Chern-Simons theory is controlled by the quantum group. This result is used to give an exact calculation, in perturbation theory, of the expectation value of a certain net of n+m Wilson operators in the deformed N=1 gauge theory. This expectation value coincides with the partition function of a spin-chain integrable lattice model on an n-by-m doubly-periodic lattice.
The integrable structure of the one-dimensional Hubbard model is based on Shastry's R-matrix and the Yangian of a centrally extended sl(2|2) superalgebra. Alcaraz and Bariev have shown that the model admits an integrable deformation whose R-matrix has recently been found. This R-matrix is of trigonometric type and here we derive its underlying exceptional quantum affine algebra. We also show how the algebra reduces to the above mentioned Yangian and to the conventional quantum affine sl(2|2) algebra in two special limits.
We derive a free boson representation of the Yangian double $DY_\hbar(sl_N)$ with arbitrary level k using the observation that there is a correspondence between the q-affine algebra and Yangian double associated with the same Cartan matrix. Vertex operator and screening currents are not obtained in the same way.
Yangian Double $DY(A(m,n))$ of Lie Superalgebra $A(m,n)$ is described in terms of generators and defining relations. It is proved triangular decomposition for Yangian $Y(A(m,n))$ and its quantum double $DY(A(m,n))$ as a corollary of PBW theorem. It is introduced the normally ordered bases in Yangian and its dual Hopf superalgebra in quantum double. It is calculated the pairing formulas between the elements of its bases. It is received the formula of Universal $R$-matrix of Yangian Double. The formula for Universal $R$-matrix of Yangian, which was introduced by V. Drinfel'd, is received also.
We describe the double Yangian of the general linear Lie algebra $\mathfrak{gl}_N$ by following a general scheme of Drinfeld. This description is based on the construction of the universal $R$-matrix for the Yangian. To make the exposition self contained, we include the proofs of all necessary facts about the Yangian itself. In particular, we describe the centre of the Yangian by using its Hopf algebra structure, and provide a proof of the analogue of the Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt theorem for the Yangian based on its representation theory. This proof extends to the double Yangian, thus giving a d…
We construct actions of the affine Yangian of type A on higher level Fock spaces by extending known actions of the Yangian of finite type A due to Uglov. This is a degenerate analog of a result by Takemura-Uglov, which constructed actions of the quantum toroidal algebra on higher level $q$-deformed Fock spaces.
An hbar-deformed Virasoro Poisson algebra is obtained using the Wakimoto realization of the Sugawara operator for the Yangian double DY_\hbar(sl_2)_c at the critical level c=-2.
We give a new realization of $Y(sl_3)$ via Cartan-Weyl elements. An algebraic description of Yangian Double $DY(sl_3)$, explicit comultiplication formulas and universal R-matrix are obtained in these terms.
The Yangian double $\text{DY}_{\hbar}(\mathfrak{g}_N)$ is introduced for the classical types of $\mathfrak{g}_N=\mathfrak{o}_{2n+1}$, $\mathfrak{sp}_{2n}$, $\mathfrak{o}_{2n}$. Via the Gauss decomposition of the generator matrix, the Yangian double is given the Drinfeld presentation. In addition, bosonization of level $1$ realizations for the Yangian double $\text{DY}_{\hbar}(\mathfrak{g}_N)$ of non-simply-laced types are explicitly constructed.
We construct universal Drinfel'd twists defining deformations of Hopf algebra structures based upon simple Lie algebras and contragredient simple Lie superalgebras. In particular, we obtain deformed and dynamical double Yangians. Some explicit realisations as evaluation representations are given for sl(N), sl(1|2) and osp(1|2).
We introduce super Yangian double $DY_\hbar[gl(m|n)]$ and its central extension $\widehat{DY_\hbar[gl(m|n)]}$. We give their defining relations in terms of current generators and obtain Drinfeld comultiplication.
We use the super version of RS construction method and Gauss decomposition to obtain Drinfeld's currents realization of super Yangian double $DY(gl(1|1))$ with center extension
We study the Yangian symmetry of the multicomponent Quantum Nonlinear Schrodinger hierarchy in the framework of the Quantum Inverse Scattering Method. We give an explicit realization of the Yangian generators in terms of the deformed oscillators algebra which naturally occurs in this framework.
Central extension $\DYg$ of the Double of the Yangian is defined for a simple Lie algebra ${\bf g}$ with complete proof for ${\bf g} =sl_2$. Basic representations and intertwining operators are constructed for $\DY2$.
It is demonstrated how chains of twists for classical Lie algebras induce the new twist deformations (the deformed Yangians) that quantize the generalized rational solutions of the classical Yang-Baxter equation. For the case of Y(g) with g=so(2N+1) the explicit expression for the corresponding R-matrix is given in the defining representation.
We construct a Hopf algebra cocycle in the Yangian double $DY(SL_{2})$, conjugating Drinfeld's coproduct to the usual one. To do that, we factorize the twist between two ``opposite'' versions of Drinfeld's coproduct, introduced in earlier work by V. Rubtsov and the first author, using the decomposition of the algebra in its negative and non-negative modes subalgebras.
Quantum universal enveloping algebras, quantum elliptic algebras and double (deformed) Yangians provide fundamental algebraic structures relevant for many integrable systems. They are described in the FRT formalism by R-matrices which are solutions of elliptic, trigonometric or rational type of the Yang--Baxter equation with spectral parameter or its generalization known as the Gervais--Neveu--Felder equation. While quantum groups and double Yangians appear as quasi-triangular Hopf algebras, this is no longer the case for elliptic algebras and the various deformations of Yangian type algebras.…
Based on Drinfeld realization of super Yangian Double DY(gl(1|1)), its pairing relations and universal R-matrix are given. By taking evaluation representation of universal R-matrix, another realization $L^{\pm}(u)$ of DY(gl(1|1)) is obtained. These two realizations of DY(gl(1|1)) are related by the supersymmetric extension of Ding-Frenkel map.
We show an algebra morphism between Yangians and some finite W-algebras. This correspondence is nicely illustrated in the framework of the Non Linear Schrodinger hierarchy. For such a purpose, we give an explicit realization of the Yangian generators in terms of deformed oscillators.
The traces over infinite dimensional representations of the central extended Yangian double for the product of operators which intertwine these representations are calculated. For the special combinations of the intertwining operators the traces are identified with form factors of local operators in SU(2)-invariant Thirring model. This identification is based on the identities which are deformed analogs of the Gauss-Manin connection identities for the hyperelliptic curves.
Free field representation of level-$k (\not=0,-2)$ Yangian double ${\cal D}Y(sl_2)_k$ and a corresponding deformation of Wakimoto modules are presented. We also realize two types of vertex operators intertwining these modules.
On the basis of `$RTT=TTR$' formalism, we introduce the quantum double of the Yangian $Y_{\hbar}(\gtg)$ for $\gtg=\gtgl_N,\gtsl_N$ with a central extension. The Gauss decomposition of T-matrices gives us the so-called Drinfel'd generators. Using these generators, we present some examples of both finite and infinite dimensional representations that are quite natural deformations of the corresponding affine counterpart.
Studying the algebraic structure of the double ${\cal D}Y(g)$ of the yangian $Y(g)$ we present the triangular decomposition of ${\cal D}Y(g)$ and a factorization for the canonical pairing of the yangian with its dual inside ${\cal D}Y(g)$. As a consequence we obtain an explicit formula for the universal R-matrix $R$ of ${\cal D}Y(g)$ and demonstrate how it works in evaluation representations of $Y(sl_2)$. We interprete one-dimensional factor arising in concrete representations of $R$ as bilinear form on highest weight polynomials of irreducible representations of $Y(g)$ and express this form i…
Let $\mathfrak{g}$ be a symmetrizable Kac-Moody algebra with associated Yangian $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$ and Yangian double $\mathrm{D}Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$. An elementary result of fundamental importance to the theory of Yangians is that, for each $c\in \mathbb{C}$, there is an automorphism $τ_c$ of $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$ corresponding to the translation $t\mapsto t+c$ of the complex plane. Replacing $c$ by a formal parameter $z$ yields the so-called formal shift homomorphism $τ_z$ from $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}$ to the polynomial algebra $Y_\hbar\mathfrak{g}[z]$. We prove that $τ_z$ uniquely extends t…
We present a quantum version of the construction of the KZ system of equations as a flat connection on the spaces of coinvariants of representations of tensor products of Kac-Moody algebras. We consider here representations of a tensor product of Yangian doubles and compute the coinvariants of a deformation of the subalgebra generated by the regular functions of a rational curve with marked points. We observe that Drinfeld's quantum Casimir element can be viewed as a deformation of the zero-mode of the Sugawara tensor in the Yangian double. These ingredients serve to define a compatible system…
We consider boundary scattering for a semi-infinite one-dimensional deformed Hubbard chain with boundary conditions of the same type as for the Y=0 giant graviton in the AdS/CFT correspondence. We show that the recently constructed quantum affine algebra of the deformed Hubbard chain has a coideal subalgebra which is consistent with the reflection (boundary Yang-Baxter) equation. We derive the corresponding reflection matrix and furthermore show that the aforementioned algebra in the rational limit specializes to the (generalized) twisted Yangian of the Y=0 giant graviton.
A quantization of a non-standard rational solution of CYBE for $sl_2$ is given explicitly. We obtain the quantization with the help of a twisting of the usual Yangian $Y(sl_2$. This quantum object (deformed Yangian $Y_{η,ξ}(sl_2))$ is a two-parametric deformation of the universal enveloping algebra $U(sl_2[u])$ of the positive current algebra $sl_2[u]$. We consider the pseudotriangular structure on $Y_{η,ξ}(sl_2)$, the quantum double $DY_{η,ξ}(sl_2)$ its the universal R-matrix and also the RTT-realization of $Y_{η,ξ}(sl_2)$.
We continue the investigation of the central extended Yangian double [S. Khoroshkin, q-alg/9602031]. In this paper we study the intertwining operators for certain infinite dimensional representations of $\Yd$, which are deformed analogs of the highest weight representations of the affine algebra $\aff$ at level 1. We give bosonized expressions for intertwining operators, verify that they generate an algebra isomorphic to Zamolodchikov--Faddeev algebra for the $SU(2)$-invariant Thirring model. We compose from them $L$-operators by Miki's prescription and verify that they coincide with $L$-opera…

Using vertex operators, we build representations of the Yangian of a simply laced Kac-Moody algebra and of its double. As a corollary, we prove the PBW property for simply laced affine Yangians.
We find certain functional identities for the Gauss q-power function of a sum of q-commuting variables. Then we use these identities to obtain two-parameter twists of the quantum affine algebra U_q (\hat{sl}_2) and of the Yangian Y(sl_2). We determine the corresponding deformed trigonometric and rational quantum R-matrices, which then are used in the computation of deformed XXX and XXZ Hamiltonians.
We prove the equivalence of two presentations of deformed double current algebras associated to a complex simple Lie algebra, the first one obtained via a degeneration of affine Yangians while the other one naturally appeared in the construction of the elliptic Casimir connection. We also construct a specific central element of these algebras and, in type A, show that they contain a very large center for certain values of their parameters.
We investigate different Hopf algebras associated to Yang's solution of quantum Yang-Baxter equation. It is shown that for the precise definition of the algebra one needs the commutation relations for the deformed algebra of formal currents and the specialization of the Riemann problem for the currents. Two different Riemann problems are considered. They lead to the central extended Yangian double associated with ${sl}_2$ and to the degeneration of scaling limit of elliptic affine algebra. Unless the defining relations for the generating functions of the both algebras coincide their properties…
Recently, Li and Yamazaki proposed a new class of infinite-dimensional algebras, quiver Yangian, which generalizes the affine Yangian $\mathfrak{gl}_{1}$. The characteristic feature of the algebra is the action on BPS states for non-compact toric Calabi-Yau threefolds, which are in one-to-one correspondence with the crystal melting models. These algebras can be bootstrapped from the action on the crystals and have various truncations. In this paper, we propose a $q$-deformed version of the quiver Yangian, referred to as the quiver quantum toroidal algebra (QQTA). We examine some of the consist…
The one-dimensional Hubbard model is an exceptional integrable spin chain which is apparently based on a deformation of the Yangian for the superalgebra gl(2|2). Here we investigate the quantum-deformation of the Hubbard model in the classical limit. This leads to a novel classical r-matrix of trigonometric kind. We derive the corresponding one-parameter family of Lie bialgebras as a deformation of the affine gl(2|2) Kac-Moody superalgebra. In particular, we discuss the affine extension as well as discrete symmetries, and we scan for simpler limiting cases, such as the rational r-matrix for th…
We prove that the Yangian associated to an untwisted symmetric affine Kac-Moody Lie algebra is isomorphic to the Drinfeld double of a shuffle algebra. The latter is constructed by the authors in arXiv:1407.7994 as an algebraic formalism of the cohomological Hall algebras. As a consequence, we obtain the Poincare-Birkhoff-Witt (PBW) theorem for this class of affine Yangians. Another independent proof of the PBW theorem is given recently by Guay-Regelskis-Wendlandt.

As the Yangian double with center, which is deformed from affine algebra by the additive loop parameter $\hbar$ ,we get the commuting relation and the bosonization of quantum $\hbar$-deformed Virasoro algebra. The corresponding Miura transformation, associated screening operators and the BRST charge have been studied. Moreover, we also constructe the bosonization for type I and type II intertwiner vertex operators. Finally, we show that the commuting relation of these vertex operators in the case of $p'=r p=r-1$ and $\hbar =π$ actually gives the exact scattering matrix of the Restricted sine-Go…
We propose a rational quantum deformed nonlocal currents in the homogenous space $SU(2)_k/U(1)$, and in terms of it and a free boson field a representation for the Drinfeld currents of Yangian double at a general level $k=c$ is obtained. In the classical limit $\hbar \to 0$, the quantum nonlocal currents become $SU(2)_k$ parafermion, and the realization of Yangian double becomes the parafermion realization of $SU(2)_k$ current algebra.
