The quantum deformation of the Jordanian twist F_qJ for the standard quantum Borel algebra U_q(B) is constructed. It gives the family U_qJ(B) of quantum algebras depending on parameters x and h. In a generic point these algebras represent the hybrid (standard-nonstandard) quantization. The quantum Jordanian twist can be applied to the standard quantization of any Kac-Moody algebra. The corresponding classical r-matrix is a linear combination of the Drinfeld- Jimbo and the Jordanian ones. The obtained two-parametric families of Hopf algebras are smooth and for the limit values of the parameters the standard and nonstandard quantizations are recovered. The twisting element F_qJ also has the correlated limits, in particular when q tends to unity it acquires the canonical form of the Jordanian twist. To illustrate the properties of the quantum Jordanian twist we construct the hybrid quantizations for U(sl(2)) and for the corresponding affine algebra U(hat(sl(2))). The universal quantum R-matrix and its defining representation are presented.
Jordanian quantizations of Lie algebras are studied using the factorizable twists. For a restricted Borel subalgebras ${\bf B}^{\vee}$ of $sl(N)$ the explicit expressions are obtained for the twist element ${\cal F}$, universal ${\cal R}$-matrix and the corresponding canonical element ${\cal T}$. It is shown that the twisted Hopf algebra ${\cal U}_{\cal F} ({\bf B}^{\vee})$ is self dual. The cohomological properties of the involved Lie bialgebras are studied to justify the existence of a contraction from the Dinfeld-Jimbo quantization to the jordanian one. The construction of the twist is gene…
The nontrivial subspaces with primitive coproducts are found in the deformed universal enveloping algebras. They can form carrier spaces for additional Jordanian twists. The latter can be used to construct sequences of twists for algebras whose root systems contain long series of roots. The corresponding twist for the so(5) algebra is given explicitly.
We propose a new generalisation of the Jordanian twist (building on the previous idea from [Meljanac S., Meljanac D., Pachol A., Pikutic D., J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 50 (2017), 265201, 11 pages]). Obtained this way, the family of the Jordanian twists allows for interpolation between two simple Jordanian twists. This new version of the twist provides an example of a new type of star product and the realization for noncommutative coordinates. Real forms of new Jordanian deformations are also discussed. Exponential formulae, used to obtain coproducts and star products, are presented with details.
We construct explicit Drinfel'd twists of Jordanian type for the generalized Cartan type K Lie algebras in characteristic 0 and obtain the corresponding quantizations, especially their integral forms. By making modular reductions including modulo p and modulo p-restrictedness reduction, and base changes, we derive certain modular quantizations of the restricted universal enveloping algebra $\mathbf u(\mathbf{K}(2n{+}1;\underline{1}))$ for the restricted simple Lie algebra of Cartan type K in characteristic p. They are new pointed Hopf algebras of noncommutative and noncocommutative and with di…
We propose an explicit generalization of the Jordanian twist proposed in $r$-symmetrized form by Giaquinto and Zhang. It is proved that this generalization satisfies the 2-cocycle condition. We present explicit formulas for the corresponding star product and twisted coproduct. Finally, we show that our generalization coincides with the twist obtained from the simple Jordanian twist by twisting by a 1-cochain.
The recently proposed jordanian quantization of the Lie superalgebra $osp(1|2)$ due to the embedding $sl(2) \subset osp(1|2)$, is extended including odd generators into the twisting element $\cal F$. This deformation is obtained as a contraction of the quantum superalgebra ${\cal U}_{q}(osp(1|2))$.
Two type of superization of the Jordanian r-matrix for the Lie algebra sl(2) are considered. One type is associated with the Lie superalgebra sl(1|1) and another type is associated with the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra osp(1|2). Extended Jordanian r-matrices of maximal order are obtained for the basic complex Lie superalgebras sl(m|n) and osp(M|2n), and a general procedure for construction of corresponding chains of extended Jordanian twists is given. We also find a relation between the extended Jordanian twist and automorphism which gives trivial coproduct for a subalgebra provided the su…
A triangular quantum deformation of $ osp(2/1) $ from the classical $r$-matrix including an odd generator is presented with its full Hopf algebra structure. The deformation maps, twisting element and tensor operators are considered for the deformed $ osp(2/1)$. It is also shown that its subalgebra generated by the Borel subalgebra is self-dual.
Using a contraction procedure, we construct a twist operator that satisfies a shifted cocycle condition, and leads to the Jordanian quasi-Hopf U_{h;y}(sl(2)) algebra. The corresponding universal ${\cal R}_{h}(y)$ matrix obeys a Gervais-Neveu-Felder equation associated with the U_{h;y}(sl(2)) algebra. For a class of representations, the dynamical Yang-Baxter equation may be expressed as a compatibility condition for the algebra of the Lax operators.
The explicit expressions of the representation functions (D-functions) for Jordanian quantum group SL_h(2) are obtained by combination of tensor operator technique and Drinfeld twist. It is shown that the D-functions can be expressed in terms of Jacobi polynomials as the undeformed D-functions can. Some of the important properties of the D-functions for SL_h(2) such as Winger's product law, recurrence relations, RTT type relations are also presented.
We introduce and investigate a one parameter family of quantum spaces invariant under the left (right) coactions of the group-like element ${\cal T}_{h}^{(j=1)}$ of the Jordanian function algebra $Fun_{h}(SL(2))$. These spaces may be regarded as Jordanian quantization of the two-dimensional spheres.
The twist deformations for simple Lie algebras U(g) whose twisting elements F are known explicitly are usually defined on the carrier subspace injected in the Borel subalgebra B^+(g). We solve the problem of creating the parabolic twist F_P whose carrier algebra P not only covers B^+(g) but also intersects nontrivially with B^-(g). This algebra P is the parabplic subalgebra in sl(3) and has the structure of the algebra of two-dimensional motions. The parabolic twist is explicitly constructed as a composition of the well known extended jordanian twist F_EJ and the new factor F_D. The latter can…
New solutions of twist equations for universal enveloping algebras U(A_{n-1}) are found. They can be presented as products of full chains F_c of extended Jordanian twists, Abelian factors (rotations) F^R and sets of quasi-Jordanian twists F^J. The latter are the generalizations of Jordanian twists (with 2-dimensional Borel carrier b^2) for special deformed extensions of the Hopf algebra U(b^2). The carrier subalgebra g_P for the composition of these three twists is a nonminimal parabolic subalgebra in sl(n). The parabolic twisting elements F_P are obtained in the explicit form. The details of …
We discuss quantum deformations of Jordanian type for Lie superalgebras. These deformations are described by twisting functions with support from Borel subalgebras and they are multiparameter in the general case. The total twists are presented in explicit form for the Lie superalgebras sl(m|n) and osp(1|2n). We show also that the classical $r$-matrix for a light-cone deformation of D=4 super-Poincare algebra is of Jordanian type and a corresponding twist is given in explicit form.
Twist deformation U_F(g) is equivalent to the quantum group Fun_d(G#) and has two preferred bases: the one originating from U(g) and that of the coordinate functions on the dual Lie group G#. The costructure of the Hopf algebra U_F(g) is analized in terms of group G#. The weight diagram of the adjoint representation of the algebra g# is constructed in terms of the root system L(g). The explicit form of the g --> g# transformation can be obtained for any simple Lie algebra g and the factorizable chain F of extended Jordanian twists. The dual group approach is used to find new solutions of the t…
Using the contraction procedure introduced by us in Ref. \cite{ACC2}, we construct, in the first part of the present letter, the Jordanian quantum Hopf algebra ${\cal U}_{\sf h}(sl(3))$ which has a remarkably simple coalgebraic structure and contains the Jordanian Hopf algebra ${\cal U}_{\sf h}(sl(2))$, obtained by Ohn, as a subalgebra. A nonlinear map between ${\cal U}_{\sf h}(sl(3))$ and the classical $sl(3)$ algebra is then established. In the second part, we give the higher dimensional Jordanian algebras ${\cal U}_{\sf h}(sl(N))$ for all $N$. The Universal ${\cal R}_{\sf h}$-matrix of ${\c…
Extending a recently proposed procedure of construction of various elements of diffential geometry on noncommutative algebras, we obtain these structures on noncommutative superalgebras. As an example, a quantum superspace covariant under the action of super-Jordanian $OSp_h(2/1)$ is studied. It is shown that there exist a two paramater family of torsionless connections, and the curvature computed from this family of connections is bilinear. It is also shown that the connections are not compatible with the metric.
We classify all 4-dimensional first order bicovariant calculi on the Jordanian quantum group GL_{h,g}(2) and all 3-dimensional first order bicovariant calculi on the Jordanian quantum group SL_{h}(2). In both cases we assume that the bicovariant bimodules are generated as left modules by the differentials of the quantum group generators. It is found that there are 3 1-parameter families of 4-dimensional bicovariant first order calculi on GL_{h,g}(2) and that there is a single, unique, 3-dimensional bicovariant calculus on SL_{h}(2). This 3-dimensional calculus may be obtained through a classic…
We consider a superextension of the extended Jordanian twist, describing nonstandard quantization of anti-de-Sitter ($AdS$) superalgebra $osp(1|4)$ in the form of Hopf superalgebra. The super-Jordanian twisting function and corresponding basic coproduct formulae for the generators of $osp(1|4)$ are given in explicit form. The nonlinear transformation of the classical superalgebra basis not modifying the defining algebraic relations but simplifying coproducts and antipodes is proposed. Our physical application is to interpret the new super-Jordanian deformation of $osp(1|4)$ superalgebra as def…
The limiting transitions between different types of quantizations are studied by the deformation theory methods. We prove that for the first order coboundary deformation (g,g*_1 + x g*_2) of a Lie bialgebra (g,g*) one can always get the quantized Lie bialgebra (g,g*_2) as a limit of the sequence of quantizations of the type A(g,g*_1). The obtained results are illustrated by some low-dimensional examples of quantized Lie algebras and superalgebras.
Multidimensional Heisenberg algebras, whose creation and annihilation operators are the N-dimensional vectors, can be injected into simple Lie algebras g. It is demonstrated that the spectrum of their deformations can be investigated using chains of extended Jordanian twists applied to U(g). In the case of U(sl(N)) (for N>5) the two-dimensional Heisenberg subalgebras have nine deformed costructures connected by four "internal" and "external" twists composing the commutative diagram.
Recently, a class of transformations of $R_q$-matrices was introduced such that the $q \to 1$ limit gives explicit nonstandard $R_h$-matrices. The transformation matrix is singular as $q \to 1$. For the transformed matrix, the singularities, however, cancel yielding a well-defined construction. We have shown that our method can be implemented systematically on $R_q$ matrices of all dimensions of $U_q(sl(N)), U_Q(osp(1|2))$ and $U_q(sl(2|1))$ algebras. Explicit constructions are presented for $U_q(sl(2)), U_q(sl(3)), U_q(osp(1|2))$ and $U_q(sl(2|1))$ algebras, while choosing $R_q$ matrix for (f…
Tensor products of irreducible representations of the Jordanian quantum algebras U_h(sl(2)) and U_h(su(1,1)) are considered. For both the highest weight finite dimensional representations of U_h(sl(2)) and lowest weight infinite dimensional ones of U_h(su(1,1)), it is shown that tensor product representations are reducible and that the decomposition rules to irreducible representations are exactly the same as those of corresponding Lie algebras.
The generators of the Jordanian quantum algebra ${\cal U}_h(sl(2))$ are expressed as nonlinear invertible functions of the classical $sl(2)$ generators. This permits immediate explicit construction of the finite dimensional irreducible representations of the algebra ${\cal U}_h(sl(2))$. Using this construction, new finite dimensional solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation may be obtained.
The properties of the set L of extended jordanian twists are studied. It is shown that the boundaries of L contain twists whose characteristics differ considerably from those of internal points. The extension multipliers of these "peripheric" twists are factorizable. This leads to simplifications in the twisted algebra relations and helps to find the explicit form for coproducts. The peripheric twisted algebra U(sl(4)) is obtained to illustrate the construction. It is shown that the corresponding deformation U_{P}(sl(4)) cannot be connected with the Drinfeld--Jimbo one by a smooth limit proced…
Drinfeld twist is applied to the Lie algebra gl(2) so that a two-parametric deformation of it is obtained, which is identical to the Jordanian deformation of the gl(2) obtained by Aneva et al. The same twist element is applied to deform the Lie superalgebra sl(1/2), since the gl(2) is embedded into the sl(1/2). By making use of the FRT-formalism, we construct a deformation of the Lie supergroup $ SL(1/2). $
It is known that the inhomogeneous quantum group IGL_{q,r}(2) can be constructed as a quotient of the multiparameter q-deformation of GL(3). We show that a similar result holds for the inhomogeneous Jordanian deformation and exhibit its Hopf structure.
The quantum group GL_p,q(2) is known to be related to the Jordanian GL_h,h'(2) via a contraction procedure. It can also be realised using the generators of the Hopf algebra G_r,s. We contract the G_r,s quantum group to obtain its Jordanian analogue G_m,k, which provides a realisation of GL_h,h'(2) in a manner similar to the q-deformed case.
For chains of regular injections A_p -> A_(p-1) -> ... -> A_1 -> A_0 of Hopf algebras the sets of maximal extended Jordanian twists F_E are considered. We prove that under certain conditions there exists for A_0 the twist composed by the factors (F_E)_k. The general construction of a chain of twists is applied to the universal envelopings U(g) of classical Lie algebras g. We study the chains for the infinite series A_n, B_n and D_n. The properties of the deformation produced by a chain U_F(g) are explicitly demonstrated for the case of g = so(9).
This paper suveys some recent algebraic developments in two parameter Quantum deformations and their Nonstandard (or Jordanian) counterparts. In particular, we discuss the contraction procedure and the quantum group homomorphisms associated to these deformations. The scheme is then set in the wider context of the coloured extensions of these deformations, namely, the so-called Coloured Quantum Groups.
A two-parametric non-standard (Jordanian) deformation of the Lie algebra $gl(2)$ is constructed, and then, exploited to obtain a new, triangular R-matrix solution of the coloured Yang-Baxter equation. The corresponding coloured quantum group is presented explicitly.
Representation theory for the Jordanian quantum algebra $U=U_h(sl(2))$ is developed. Closed form expressions are given for the action of the generators of U on the basis vectors of finite dimensional irreducible representations. It is shown how representation theory of U has a close connection to combinatorial identities involving summation formulas. A general formula is obtained for the Clebsch-Gordan coefficients $C^{j_1,j_2,j}_{n_1,n_2,m}(h)$ of U. These Clebsch-Gordan coefficients are shown to coincide with those of su(2) for $n_1+n_2 \leq m$, but for $n_1+n_2 > m$ they are in general a no…
The minimal twist map introduced by B. Abdesselam, A. Chakrabarti, R. Chakrabarti and J. Segar (Mod. Phys. Lett. A 14 (1999) 765) for the non-standard (Jordanian) quantum sl(2,R) algebra is used to construct the twist maps for two different non-standard quantum deformations of the (1+1) Schrodinger algebra. Such deformations are, respectively, the symmetry algebras of a space and a time uniform lattice discretization of the (1+1) free Schrodinger equation. It is shown that the corresponding twist maps connect the usual Lie symmetry approach to these discrete equations with non-standard quantum…
A non-standard quantum deformation of the two-photon algebra $h_6$ is constructed, and its quantum universal R-matrix is given. Representations of this new quantum algebra are studied on the Fock space and translated into Fock-Bargmann realizations that provide a direct formalism for the definition of deformed states of light. Finally, the isomorphism between $h_6$ and the (1+1) Schrödinger algebra is used to introduce a new (non-standard) Hopf algebra deformation of this latter symmetry algebra.
We construct explicit Drinfel'd twists for the generalized Cartan type $H$ Lie algebras in characteristic $0$ and obtain the corresponding quantizations and their integral forms. Via making modular reductions including modulo $p$ reduction and modulo $p$-restrictedness reduction, and base changes, we derive certain modular quantizations of the restricted universal enveloping algebra $\mathbf u(\mathbf{H}(2n;\underline{1}))$ in characteristic $p$. They are new non-pointed Hopf algebras of truncated $p$-polynomial noncommutative and noncocommutative deformation of prime-power dimension $p^{p^{2n…
We find the Hopf algebra $U_{g,h}$ dual to the Jordanian matrix quantum group $GL_{g,h}(2)$. As an algebra it depends only on the sum of the two parameters and is split in two subalgebras: $U'_{g,h}$ (with three generators) and $U(Z)$ (with one generator). The subalgebra $U(Z)$ is a central Hopf subalgebra of $U_{g,h}$. The subalgebra $U'_{g,h}$ is not a Hopf subalgebra and its coalgebra structure depends on both parameters. We discuss also two one-parameter special cases: $g =h$ and $g=-h$. The subalgebra $U'_{h,h}$ is a Hopf algebra and coincides with the algebra introduced by Ohn as the dua…
The properties of the set {L} of extended jordanian twists for algebra sl(3) are studied. Starting from the simplest algebraic construction --- the peripheric Hopf algebra U_ P'(0,1)(sl(3)) --- we construct explicitly the complete family of extended twisted algebras {U_ E(θ)(sl(3))} corresponding to the set of 4-dimensional Frobenius subalgebras {L(θ)} in sl(3). It is proved that the extended twisted algebras with different values of the parameter θare connected by a special kind of Reshetikhin twist. We study the relations between the family {U_E(θ)(sl(3))} and the one-dimensional set {U_DJR(…
The Drinfeld twist is applyed to deforme the rank one orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra $osp(1|2)$. The twist element is the same as for the $sl(2)$ Lie algebra due to the embedding of the $sl(2)$ into the superalgebra $osp(1|2)$. The R-matrix has the direct sum structure in the irreducible representations of $osp(1|2)$. The dual quantum group is defined using the FRT-formalism. It includes the Jordanian quantum group $SL_ξ(2)$ as subalgebra and Grassmann generators as well.
The quantization properties of composite peripheric twists are studied. Peripheric chains of extended twists are constructed for U(sl(N)) in order to obtain composite twists with sufficiently large carrier subalgebras. It is proved that the peripheric chains can be enlarged with additional Reshetikhin and Jordanian factors. This provides the possibility to construct new solutions to Drinfeld equations and, thus, to quantize new sets of Lie-Poisson structures. When the Jordanian additional factors are used the carrier algebras of the enlarged peripheric chains are transformed into algebras of m…
Chains of extended jordanian twists are studied for the universal enveloping algebras U(so(M)). The carrier subalgebra of a canonical chain F cannot cover the maximal nilpotent subalgebra N(so(M)). We demonstrate that there exist other types of Frobenius subalgebras in so(M) that can be large enough to include N(so(M)). The problem is that the canonical chains F do not preserve the primitivity on these new carrier spaces. We show that this difficulty can be overcome and the primitivity can be restored if one changes the basis and passes to the deformed carrier spaces. Finally the twisting elem…
Serious difficulties arise in the construction of chains of twists for symplectic Lie algebras. Applying the canonical chains of extended twists to deform the Hopf algebras U(sp(N)) one is forced to deal only with improper chains (induced by the U(sl(N)) subalgebras). In the present paper this problem is solved. For chains of regular injections the sets of maximal extended jordanian twists F_{E,k} are considered. We prove that there exists for U(sp(N)) the twist F_{B,k} composed of the factors F_{E,k}. It is demonstrated that the twisting procedure deforms the space of the primitive subalgebra…
The generalized Cartan type $\mathbf{S}$ Lie algebras in char 0 with the Lie bialgebra structures involved are quantized, where the Drinfel'd twist we used is proved to be a variation of the Jordanian twist. As the passage from char 0 to char p, their quantization integral forms are given. By the modular reduction and base changes, we obtain certain quantizations of the restricted universal enveloping algebra $\mathbf u(\mathbf{S}(n;\underline{1}))$ (for the Cartan type simple modular restricted Lie algebra $\mathbf{S}(n;\underline{1})$ of $\mathbf{S}$ type). They are new Hopf algebras of trun…
We discussed twisted quantum deformations of D=4 Lorentz and Poincare algebras. In the case of Poincare algebra it is shown that almost all classical r-matrices of S.Zakrzewski classification can be presented as a sum of subordinated r-matrices of Abelian and Jordanian types. Corresponding twists describing quantum deformations are obtained in explicit form. This work is an extended version of the paper \url{arXiv:0704.0081v1 [math.QA]}.
We show how some classical r-matrices for the D=4 Poincare algebra can be supersymmetrized by an addition of part depending on odd supercharges. These r-matrices for D=4 super-Poincare algebra can be presented as a sum of the so-called subordinated r-matrices of super-Abelian and super-Jordanian type. Corresponding twists describing quantum deformations are obtained in an explicit form. These twists are the super-extensions of twists obtained in the paper arXiv:0712.3962.
The twisting function describing a nonstandard (super-Jordanian) quantum deformation of $osp(1|2)$ is given in explicite closed form. The quantum coproducts and universal R-matrix are presented. The non-uniqueness of the twisting function as well as two real forms of the deformed $osp(1|2)$ superalgebras are considered. One real quantum $osp(1|2)$ superalgebra is interpreted as describing the $κ$-deformation of D=1, N=1 superconformal algebra, which can be applied as a symmetry algebra of N=1 superconformal mechanics.
We use the decomposition of o(3,1)=sl(2;C)_1\oplus sl(2;C)_2 in order to describe nonstandard quantum deformation of o(3,1) linked with Jordanian deformation of sl(2;C}. Using twist quantization technique we obtain the deformed coproducts and antipodes which can be expressed in terms of real physical Lorentz generators. We describe the extension of the considered deformation of D=4 Lorentz algebra to the twist deformation of D=4 Poincare algebra with dimensionless deformation parameter.
We discussed quantum deformations of D=4 Lorentz and Poincare algebras. In the case of Poincare algebra it is shown that almost all classical r-matrices of S. Zakrzewski classification correspond to twisted deformations of Abelian and Jordanian types. A part of twists corresponding to the r-matrices of Zakrzewski classification are given in explicit form.
This paper together with the previous one (arXiv:hep-th/0604146) presents the detailed description of all quantum deformations of D=4 Lorentz algebra as Hopf algebra in terms of complex and real generators. We describe here in detail two quantum deformations of the D=4 Lorentz algebra o(3,1) obtained by twisting of the standard q-deformation U_{q}(o(3,1)). For the first twisted q-deformation an Abelian twist depending on Cartan generators of o(3,1) is used. The second example of twisting provides a quantum deformation of Cremmer-Gervais type for the Lorentz algebra. For completeness we describ…
By the supersymmetrization of a simple algebraic technique proposed in \cite{LuTo2017} we obtain the complete classification of all basic (nonisomorphic) quantum deformations for the orthosymplectic Lie superalgebra $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2;\mathbb{C})$ and its pseudoreal and real forms in terms of the classical $r$-matrices. In particular, we prove that pseudoreal compact form has only one quantum deformation (standart $q$-analog), and the $D=3$, $N=1$ Lorentz supersymmetry, which is the non-compact real form of $\mathfrak{osp}(1|2;\mathbb{C})$, has four different Hopf-algebraic quantum deformatio…
Tensor operators for the Jordanian quantum algebra Uh(sl(2)) are considered. Some explicit examples of them, which are obtained in the boson or fermion realization, are given and their properties are studied. It is also shown that the Wigner-Eckart's theorem can be extended to Uh(sl(2)).
The quantum group G_r,s provides a realisation of the two parameter quantum GL_p,q(2) which is known to be related to the two parameter nonstandard GL_hh'(2) group via a contraction method. We apply the contraction procedure to G_r,s and obtain a new Jordanian quantum group G_m,k. Furthermore, we provide a realisation of GL_h,h'(2) in terms of G_m,k. The contraction procedure is then extended to the coloured quantum group GL_r{λ,μ}(2) to yield a new Jordanian quantum group GL_m{λ,μ}(2). Both G_r,s and G_m,k are then generalised to their coloured versions which inturn provide similar realisatio…
The problem of constructing the explicit form for full twist deformations of simple Lie algebras g with twist carriers containing the maximal nilpotent subalgebra N^+(g) is studied. Our main tool is the sequence of regular subalgebras g_i in U(g) that become primitive under the action of extended jordanian twists F_E: U(g) -> U_E(g). It is demonstrated that the structure of the sequence {g_i} is defined by the extended Dynkin diagram of algebra g. To construct the injection of g_i in U_E(g) the special deformations of algebras U_E(g) are performed. They are reduced to the (cohomologically triv…
A universal $R$-matrix for the non-standard (Jordanian) quantum deformation of $sl(2,\R)$ is presented. A family of solutions of the quantum Yang--Baxter equation is obtained from some finite dimensional representations of this Lie bialgebra quantization of $sl(2,\R)$.
Starting from the classical r-matrix of the non-standard (or Jordanian) quantum deformation of the sl(2,R) algebra, new triangular quantum deformations for the real Lie algebras so(2,2), so(3,1) and iso(2,1) are simultaneously constructed by using a graded contraction scheme; these are realized as deformations of conformal algebras of (1+1)-dimensional spacetimes. Time-type and space-type quantum algebras are considered according to the generator that remains primitive after deformation: either the time or the space translation, respectively. Furthermore by introducing differential-difference …
We study the biparametric quantum deformation of GL(2) x GL(1) and exhibit its cross-product structure. We derive explictly the associated dual algebra, i.e., the quantised universal enveloping algebra employing the R-matrix procedure. This facilitates construction of a bicovariant differential calculus which is also shown to have a cross-product structure. Finally, a Jordanian analogue of the deformation is presented as a cross-product algebra.
The non-standard (Jordanian) quantum deformations of $so(2,2)$ and (2+1) Poincaré algebras are constructed by starting from a quantum $sl(2,\R)$ basis such that simple factorized expressions for their corresponding universal $R$-matrices are obtained. As an application, the null-plane quantum (2+1) Poincaré Poisson-Lie group is quantized by following the FRT prescription. Matrix and differential representations of this null-plane deformation are presented, and the influence of the choice of the basis in the resultant $q$-Schrödinger equation governing the deformed null plane evolution is comme…
We study twisted modules for (weak) quantum vertex algebras and we give a conceptual construction of (weak) quantum vertex algebras and their twisted modules. As an application we construct and classify irreducible twisted modules for a certain family of quantum vertex algebras.
A problem of defining the quantum analogues for semi-classical twists in $U(\mathfrak{g})[[t]]$ is considered. First, we study specialization at $q=1$ of singular coboundary twists defined in $U_{q}(\mathfrak{g})[[t]]$ for $\mathfrak{g}$ being a nonexceptional Lie algebra, then we consider specialization of noncoboundary twists when $\mathfrak{g}=\mathfrak{sl}_{3}$ and obtain $q-$deformation of the semi-classical twist introduced by Connes and Moscovici in noncommutative geometry.
As an analog of the quantum TKK algebra, a twisted quantum toroidal algebra of type A_1 is introduced. Explicit realization of the new quantum TKK algebra is constructed with the help of twisted quantum vertex operators over a Fock space.
A Gelfan'd--Dyson mapping is used to generate a one-boson realization for the non-standard quantum deformation of $sl(2,\R)$ which directly provides its infinite and finite dimensional irreducible representations. Tensor product decompositions are worked out for some examples. Relations between contraction methods and boson realizations are also explored in several contexts. So, a class of two-boson representations for the non-standard deformation of $sl(2,\R)$ is introduced and contracted to the non-standard quantum (1+1) Poincaré representations. Likewise, a quantum extended Hopf $sl(2,\R)$ …
