This paper concerns (Lorentz-)Darboux transformations in the Lorentz-Minkowski plane $\mathbb{R}^{1,1}$. We use the Penrose diagram for conformal compactification and show some unique properties of Darboux transformations of spacelike curves in $\mathbb{R}^{1,1}$, especially with regard to singularities and blowup. Finally, we make some comments on Darboux transformation of type-changing curves.
In this paper, we define dual geodesic trihedron(dual Darboux frame) of a spacelike ruled surface. Then, we study Mannheim offsets of spacelike ruled surfaces in dual Lorentzian space by considering the E. Study Mapping. We represent spacelike ruled surfaces by dual Lorentzian unit spherical curves and define Mannheim offsets of the spacelike ruled surfaces by means of dual Darboux frame. We obtain relationships between the invariants of Mannheim spacelike offset surfaces and offset angle, offset distance. Furthermore, we give conditions for these surface offsets to be developable.
For a regular curve on a spacelike surface in Lorentz-Minkowski $3$-space, we have a moving frame along the curve which is called a Lorentzian Darboux frame. We introduce five special vector fields along the curve associated to the Lorentzian Darboux frame and investigate their singularities.

These conclusions imply the classical Bernstein theorem for minimal surfaces in 3-dimensional Euclidean space and Calabi's theorem for spacelike maximal surfaces in 3-dimensional Minkowski space.
In this paper, we introduce the pseudo-torsion functions along spacelike curves whose curvature vector field has isolated lightlike points in Lorentz-Minkowski 3-space, and prove the fundamental theorem. Moreover, we analyze the behavior of the torsion function at such points. As a corollary, we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for real analytic spacelike curves to be planar.
In this paper, we define a rectifying spacelike curve in the Minkowski space-time $E_1^4$ as a curve whose position vector always lies in orthogonal complement $N^{\bot}$ of its principal normal vector field $N$. In particular, we study the rectifying spacelike curves in $E_1^4$ and characterize such curves in terms of their curvature functions.
Isophote curve consists of a locus of surface points whose normal vectors make a constant angle with a fixed vector (the axis). In this paper, we define an isophote curve on a spacelike surface in Lorentz-Minkowski space and then find its axis as timelike and spacelike vectors via the Darboux frame. Besides, we give some characterizations concerning isophote curve and its axis.
We introduce the totally absolute lightcone curvature for a spacelike submanifold with general codimension and investigate global properties of this curvature. One of the consequences is that the Chern-Lashof type inequality holds. Then the notion of lightlike tightness is naturally induced.
We investigate a variational problem in the Lorentz-Minkowski space $ł^3$ whose critical points are spacelike surfaces with constant mean curvature and making constant contact angle with a given support surface along its common boundary. We prove that, in Minkowski space, if a spacelike, $(n-1)$-convex hypersurface $M$ with constant $σ_{n-1}$ curvature has bounded principal curvatures, then $M$ is convex. In this paper, we study on three kinds of spacelike helicoidal surfaces in Minkowski $4$--space. First, we give an isometry between such helicoidal surfaces and rotational surfaces which is a kind of generalization of Bour theorem in Minkowski $3$--space to Minkowski $4$--space. We address the problem of second order conformal deformation of spacelike surfaces in compactified Minkowski 4-space. We explain the construction of the exterior differential system of conformal deformations and discuss its general and singular solutions. In particular, we show that isothermic surfaces are singular solutions of the system, which implies that a generic second order deformable surface is not isothermic. This differs from the situation in 3-dimensional conformal geometry, where isothermic surfaces coincide with deformable surfaces.

Submanifolds in Lorentz-Minkowski space are investigated from various mathematical viewpoints and are of interest also in relativity theory. We define the hyperbolic surface and the de Sitter surface of a curve in the spacelike hypersurface M in the Minkowski 4-space. We consider spacelike surfaces in the four-dimensional Minkowski space and introduce geometrically an invariant linear map of Weingarten-type in the tangent plane at any point of the surface under consideration. This allows us to introduce principal lines and an invariant moving frame field. Writing derivative formulas of Frenet-type for this frame field, we obtain eight invariant functions. In this paper, we investigate the evolution of spacelike curves in Lorentz-Minkowski plane $\mathbb{R}^{2}_{1}$ along prescribed geometric flows (including the classical curve shortening flow or mean curvature flow as a special case), which correspond to a class of quasilinear parabolic initial boundary value problems, and can prove that this flow exists for all time. In this paper, we consider non developable ruled surface with spacelike ruling, timelike ruling, respectively. We give the relations between the structure functions with the curvature and torsion of the striction line of the timelike and spacelike non developable ruled surfaces. Also, we have calculated the gaussian and mean curvatures of timelike and spacelike non developable ruled surfaces using the structure functions.

We study the class of spacelike surfaces in the four-dimensional Minkowski space whose mean curvature vector at any point is a non-zero spacelike vector or timelike vector. These surfaces are determined up to a motion by eight invariant functions satisfying some natural conditions. The subclass of Chen surfaces is characterized by the condition one of these invariants to be zero. In the present paper we describe all Chen spacelike rotational surfaces of hyperbolic or elliptic type.

We study the principal configurations around an isolated $η$-umbilical point on a generic spacelike surface $S$ immersed in a null hypersurface $M$ of Minkowski space $\mathbb{R}_1^4$ relative to a well-defined null vector field $η$ orthogonal to the surface $S$. In this paper, we will give an Enneper-type representation for spacelike and timelike minimal surfaces in the Lorentz-Minkowski space $L^{3}$, using the complex and the paracomplex analysis (respectively). Then, we exhibit various examples of minimal surfaces in $L^{3}$ constructed via the Enneper representation formula, that it is equivalent to the Weierstrass representation obtained by Kobayashi (for spacelike immersions) and by Konderak (for the timelike ones).
We obtain a gradient estimate for the Gauss maps from complete spacelike constant mean curvature hypersurfaces in Minkowski space into the hyperbolic space. To study spacelike surfaces in the Lorentz-Minkowski space $\Bbb R^{4}_1,$ we construct a pair of maps whose values are in the lightcone, called $\mathfrak l_r^{\pm} $-Gauss maps.
