In this paper, position vector of a spacelike general helix with respect to standard frame in Minkowski space E$^3_1$ are studied in terms of Frenet equations. First, a vector differential equation of third order is constructed to determine position vector of an arbitrary spacelike general helix. In terms of solution, we determine the parametric representation of the general helices from the intrinsic equations. Moreover, we give some examples to illustrate how to find the position vectors of a spacelike general helices with a spacelike and timelike principal normal vector from the intrinsic equations.
In this paper, we give some characterizations for spacelike helices in Minkowski space-time. We find the differential equations characterizing the spacelike helices and also give the integral characterizations for these curves in Minkowski space-time.

In this paper, we introduce the pseudo-torsion functions along spacelike curves whose curvature vector field has isolated lightlike points in Lorentz-Minkowski 3-space, and prove the fundamental theorem. Moreover, we analyze the behavior of the torsion function at such points. As a corollary, we obtain a necessary and sufficient condition for real analytic spacelike curves to be planar.

We introduce the totally absolute lightcone curvature for a spacelike submanifold with general codimension and investigate global properties of this curvature. One of the consequences is that the Chern-Lashof type inequality holds. Then the notion of lightlike tightness is naturally induced.
We investigate a variational problem in the Lorentz-Minkowski space $ł^3$ whose critical points are spacelike surfaces with constant mean curvature and making constant contact angle with a given support surface along its common boundary. We show that if the support surface is a pseudosphere, then the surface is a planar disc or a hyperbolic cap. On any spacelike surface in a lightcone of four dimensional Lorentz-Minkowski space a distinguished smooth function is considered. Bour's minimal surface has remarkable properties in three dimensional Minkowski space. We reveal the definite and indefinite cases of the Bour's surface using Weierstrass representations, and give some differential geometric properties of the astonishing maximal and minimal surfaces.
We prove that, in Minkowski space, if a spacelike, $(n-1)$-convex hypersurface $M$ with constant $σ_{n-1}$ curvature has bounded principal curvatures, then $M$ is convex. Moreover, if $M$ is not strictly convex, after an $\mathbb{R}^{n,1}$ rigid motion, $M$ splits as a product $M^{n-1}\times\mathbb{R}.$ We also construct nontrivial examples of strictly convex, spacelike hypersurface $M$ with constant $σ_{n-1}$ curvature and bounded principal curvatures.

First, we give an isometry between such helicoidal surfaces and rotational surfaces which is a kind of generalization of Bour theorem in Minkowski $3$--space to Minkowski $4$--space. We address the problem of second order conformal deformation of spacelike surfaces in compactified Minkowski 4-space. We explain the construction of the exterior differential system of conformal deformations and discuss its general and singular solutions. In particular, we show that isothermic surfaces are singular solutions of the system, which implies that a generic second order deformable surface is not isothermic. This differs from the situation in 3-dimensional conformal geometry, where isothermic surfaces coincide with deformable surfaces.

Submanifolds in Lorentz-Minkowski space are investigated from various mathematical viewpoints and are of interest also in relativity theory. We define the hyperbolic surface and the de Sitter surface of a curve in the spacelike hypersurface M in the Minkowski 4-space. We consider spacelike surfaces in the four-dimensional Minkowski space and introduce geometrically an invariant linear map of Weingarten-type in the tangent plane at any point of the surface under consideration. This allows us to introduce principal lines and an invariant moving frame field. Writing derivative formulas of Frenet-type for this frame field, we obtain eight invariant functions. In this paper, we investigate the evolution of spacelike curves in Lorentz-Minkowski plane $\mathbb{R}^{2}_{1}$ along prescribed geometric flows (including the classical curve shortening flow or mean curvature flow as a special case), which correspond to a class of quasilinear parabolic initial boundary value problems, and can prove that this flow exists for all time. Moreover, we can also show that the evolving spacelike curves converge to a spacelike straight line or a spacelike Grim Reaper curve as time tends to infinity.

In this paper, we consider non developable ruled surface with spacelike ruling, timelike ruling, respectively. We give the relations between the structure functions with the curvature and torsion of the striction line of the timelike and spacelike non developable ruled surfaces. We study the class of spacelike surfaces in the four-dimensional Minkowski space whose mean curvature vector at any point is a non-zero spacelike vector or timelike vector. These surfaces are determined up to a motion by eight invariant functions satisfying some natural conditions. The subclass of Chen surfaces is characterized by the condition one of these invariants to be zero. In the present paper we describe all Chen spacelike rotational surfaces of hyperbolic or elliptic type.

In this paper, we will give an Enneper-type representation for spacelike and timelike minimal surfaces in the Lorentz-Minkowski space $L^{3}$, using the complex and the paracomplex analysis (respectively). We obtain a gradient estimate for the Gauss maps from complete spacelike constant mean curvature hypersurfaces in Minkowski space into the hyperbolic space. As applications, we prove a Bernstein theorem which says that if the image of the Gauss map is bounded from one side, then the spacelike constant mean curvature hypersurface must be linear.
