For a split reductive group $G$ over a number field $k$, let $ρ$ be an $n$-dimensional complex representation of its complex dual group $G^\vee(\mathbb{C})$. For any irreducible cuspidal automorphic representation $σ$ of $G(\mathbb{A})$, where $\mathbb{A}$ is the ring of adeles of $k$, in \cite{JL21}, the authors introduce the $(σ,ρ)$-Schwartz space $\mathcal{S}_{σ,ρ}(\mathbb{A}^\times)$ and $(σ,ρ)$-Fourier operator $\mathcal{F}_{σ,ρ}$, and study the $(σ,ρ,ψ)$-Poisson summation formula on $\mathrm{GL}_1$, under the assumption that the local Langlands functoriality holds for the pair $(G,ρ)$ at all local places of $k$, where $ψ$ is a non-trivial additive character of $k\backslash\mathbb{A}$. Such general formulae on $\mathrm{GL}_1$, as a vast generalization of the classical Poisson summation formula, are expected to be responsible for the Langlands conjecture (\cite{L70}) on global functional equation for the automorphic $L$-functions $L(s,σ,ρ)$. In order to understand such Poisson summation formulae, we continue with \cite{JL21} and develop a further local theory related to the $(σ,ρ)$-Schwartz space $\mathcal{S}_{σ,ρ}(\mathbb{A}^\times)$ and $(σ,ρ)$-Fourier operator $\mathcal{F}_{σ,ρ}$. More precisely, over any local field $k_ν$ of $k$, we define distribution kernel functions $k_{σ_ν,ρ,ψ_ν}(x)$ on $\mathrm{GL}_1$ that represent the $(σ_ν,ρ)$-Fourier operators $\mathcal{F}_{σ_ν,ρ,ψ_ν}$ as convolution integral operators, i.e. generalized Hankel transforms, and the local Langlands $γ$-functions $γ(s,σ_ν,ρ,ψ_ν)$ as Mellin transform of the kernel function. As consequence, we show that any local Langlands $γ$-functions are the gamma functions in the sense of Gelfand, Graev, and Piatetski-Shapiro in \cite{GGPS}.
This paper introduces the template method for computing the first coefficient of Langlands Eisenstein series on $\GL(n,\mathbb R)$ and more generally on Chevalley groups over the adele ring of $\mathbb Q.$ In brief, the first coefficient of Borel Eisenstein series can be used as a template to compute the first coefficient of more general Eisenstein series by elementary linear algebra calculations.
Let $\mathbf{B}(V)$ be the admissible unitary $GL_2(\mathbb{Q}_p)$-representation associated to two dimensional crystalline Galois representation $V$ by $p$-adic Langlands constructed by Breuil. Berger and Breuil conjectured an explicit description of the locally analytic vectors $\mathbf{B}(V)_{\mathrm{la}}$ of $\mathbf{B}(V)$ which is now proved by Liu. Emerton recently studied $p$-adic representations from the viewpoint of rigid analytic geometry. In this article, we consider certain rigid analytic subgroups of $GL(2)$ and give an explicit description of the rigid analytic vectors in $\math…
We study the so-called averaging functors from the geometric Langlands program in the setting of Fargues' program. This makes explicit certain cases of the spectral action which was recently introduced by Fargues-Scholze in the local Langlands program for $\mathrm{GL}_n$. Using these averaging functors, we verify (without using local Langlands) that the Fargues-Scholze parameters associated to supercuspidal modular representations of $\mathrm{GL}_2$ are irreducible. We also attach to any irreducible $\ell$-adic Weil representation of degree $n$ an Hecke eigensheaf on $\mathrm{Bun}_n$, and show…
Let $F$ be a non-archimedean local field. For any irreducible representation $π$ of an inner form $G'=\mathrm{GL}_{m}(D)$ of $G=\mathrm{GL}_{N}(F)$, there exists an irredubile representation of a maximal compact open subgroup in $G'$ which is also a type for $π$. Then we can consider the problem whether these types are unique or not in some sense. If such types for $π$ are unique, we say $π$ has the strong unicity property of types. On the other hand, there exists a correspondence connecting irreducible representations of $G'$ and $G$, called the Jacquet--Langland correspondence. In this paper…
In this paper, we give a method for characterizing the local Langlands conjectures in the vein of Scholze's alternate proof of the local Langlands conjecture for $\mathrm{GL}_n$. More specifically, we show that if a local Langlands correspondence satisfies a Scholze--Shin equation, as in the paper of Scholze and Shin, in addition to the usual desiderata expected of such a correspondence then these properties uniquely characterize the correspondence.
Let $F$ be a non-archimedean local field of residual characteristic $p$, $\ell\neq p$ be a prime number, and $\mathrm{W}_F$ the Weil group of $F$. We classify the indecomposable $\mathrm{W}_F$-semisimple Deligne $\overline{\mathbb{F}_\ell}$-representations in terms of the irreducible $\overline{\mathbb{F}_\ell}$-representations of $\mathrm{W}_F$, and extend constructions of Artin-Deligne local factors to this setting. Finally, we define a variant of the $\ell$-modular local Langlands correspondence which satisfies a preservation of local factors statement for generic representations.
Let $π$ be an irreducible admissible (complex) representation of $GL(2)$ over a non-archimedean characteristic zero local field with odd residual characteristic. In this paper we prove the equality between the local symmetric square $L$-function associated to $π$ arising from integral representations and the corresponding Artin $L$-function for its Langlands parameter through the local Langlands correspondence. With this in hand, we show the stability of local symmetric $γ$-factors attached to $π$ under highly ramified twists.
We calculate the asymptotic behavior of the dimension of the fixed vectors of $π$ with respect to compact open subgroups $1+ M_n(\mathfrak{p}^N)\subset\mathrm{GL}_n(F)$ for $π$ an admissible representation of $\mathrm{GL}_n(F)$, and $F$ a nonarchimedean local field. Such dimensions can be calculated by germs of the character of $π$. We also make some observations on how those dimensions behave under instances of Langlands functoriality, such as the Jacquet-Langlands correspondence and cyclic base change, where relations between characters are known.

We calculate a $\mathrm{G}_2$-period of a Fourier coefficient of a cuspidal Eisenstein series on the split simply-connected group $\mathrm{E}_6$, and relate this period to the Ginzburg-Rallis period of cusp forms on $\mathrm{GL}_6$. This gives us a relation between the Ginzburg-Rallis period and the central value of the exterior cube L-function of $\mathrm{GL}_6$
We generalise to the equivariant case a result of J. Denef and F. Loeser about trigonometric sums on tori; on the other hand, we study the Thom-Boardman stratification associated to the multiplication of global sections of line bundles on a curve. We prove a subtle inequaliity about the dimensions of these strata. Our motivation comes from the geometric Langlands program. Based on works of W. T. Gan, N. Gurevich, D. Jiang and S. Lysenko, we propose, for the reductive group $G$ of type $\mathrm G_2$, a conjectural construction of the automorphic sheaf whose Arthur parameter is unipotent and sub…
Inspired by a construction of Bump, Friedberg, and Ginzburg of a two-variable integral representation on $\mathrm{GSp}_4$ for the product of the standard and spin $L$-functions, we give two similar multivariate integral representations. The first is a three-variable Rankin-Selberg integral for cusp forms on $\mathrm{PGL}_4$ representing the product of the $L$-functions attached to the three fundamental representations of the Langlands $L$-group $\mathrm{SL}_4(\mathbf{C})$. The second integral, which is closely related, is a two-variable Rankin-Selberg integral for cusp forms on $\mathrm{PGU}(2…

Studying the analytic properties of the partial Langlands $L$-function via Rankin-Selberg method has been proved to be successful in various cases. Yet in few cases is the local theory studied at the archimedean places, which causes a tremendous gap to complete the analytic theory of the complete $L$-function. In this paper, we will establish the meromorphic continuation and the functional equation of the archimedean local integrals associated with D. Ginzburg's global integral for the adjoint representation of $\mathrm{GL}_3$. Via the local functional equation, the local gamma factor $Γ(s,π,\…
Let $Π$ be a cuspidal automorphic representation of $\mathrm{GL}_{2n}(\mathbb{A_Q})$ and let $p$ be an odd prime at which $Π$ is unramified. In a recent work, Barrera, Dimitrov and Williams constructed possibly unbounded $p$-adic $L$-functions interpolating complex $L$-values of $Π$ in the non-ordinary case. Under certain assumptions, we construct two \textit{bounded} $p$-adic $L$-functions for $Π$, thus extending an earlier work of Rockwood by relaxing the Pollack condition. Using Langlands local-global compatibility, we define signed Selmer groups over the $p$-adic cyclotomic extension of $\…
In this paper, we study top Fourier coefficients of certain automorphic representations of $\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{A})$. In particular, we prove a conjecture of Jiang on top Fourier coefficients of isobaric automorphic representations of $\mathrm{GL}_n(\mathbb{A})$ of form $$ Δ(τ_1, b_1) \boxplus Δ(τ_2, b_2) \boxplus \cdots \boxplus Δ(τ_r, b_r)\,, $$ where $Δ(τ_i,b_i)$'s are Speh representations in the discrete spectrum of $\mathrm{GL}_{a_ib_i}(\mathbb{A})$ with $τ_i$'s being unitary cuspidal representations of $\mathrm{GL}_{a_i}(\mathbb{A})$, and $n = \sum_{i=1}^r a_ib_i$. Endoscopic lifting i…
Given an induced representation of Langlands type $(π,V)$ of $\mathrm{GL}_n(F)$ with $F$ nonarchimedean, we show that there exist explicit choices of matrix coefficient $β$ and Schwartz-Bruhat function $Φ$ for which the Godement-Jacquet zeta integral $Z(s,β,Φ)$ attains the $L$-function $L(s,π)$.
