In our previous paper with Tudor Pădurariu, we introduced the notion of limit categories for moduli stacks of Higgs bundles and formulated the Dolbeault geometric Langlands correspondence. These limit categories are expected to provide an effective ``classical limit'' of the categories of D-modules on the moduli stack of bundles, and our formulation links categorical Donaldson-Thomas theory with the geometric Langlands correspondence.
In this paper, we prove the above Dolbeault geometric Langlands correspondence for $\mathrm{GL}_2$ over the locus in the Hitchin base where the spectral curves are reduced. This is the first non-trivial case in which the relevant moduli stacks are not quasi-compact, and the use of limit categories is essential to the formulation and proof of the correspondence.
Our approach also outlines a strategy for proving the correspondence in greater generality and explains the current obstructions to such an extension.
We introduce and survey a Betti form of the geometric Langlands conjecture, parallel to the de Rham form developed by Beilinson-Drinfeld and Arinkin-Gaitsgory, and the Dolbeault form of Donagi-Pantev, and inspired by the work of Kapustin-Witten in supersymmetric gauge theory. The conjecture proposes an automorphic category associated to a compact Riemann surface X and complex reductive group G is equivalent to a spectral category associated to the underlying topological surface S and Langlands dual group G^. The automorphic category consists of suitable C-sheaves on the moduli stack Bun_G(X) o…
This paper deals with the geometric local theta correspondence at the Iwahori level for dual reductive pairs of type II over a non Archimedean field $F$ of characteristic $p\neq 2$ in the framework of the geometric Langlands program. First we construct and study the geometric version of the invariants of the Weil representation of the Iwahori-Hecke algebras. In the particular case of $(GL_1, GL_m)$ we give a complete geometric description of the corresponding category. The second part of the paper deals with geometric local Langlands functoriality at the Iwahori level in a general setting. Giv…
We generalise to the equivariant case a result of J. Denef and F. Loeser about trigonometric sums on tori; on the other hand, we study the Thom-Boardman stratification associated to the multiplication of global sections of line bundles on a curve. We prove a subtle inequaliity about the dimensions of these strata. Our motivation comes from the geometric Langlands program. Based on works of W. T. Gan, N. Gurevich, D. Jiang and S. Lysenko, we propose, for the reductive group $G$ of type $\mathrm G_2$, a conjectural construction of the automorphic sheaf whose Arthur parameter is unipotent and sub…
We establish P=W and PI=WI conjectures for character varieties with structural group $\mathrm{GL}_n$ and $\mathrm{SL}_n$ which admit a symplectic resolution, i.e. for genus 1 and arbitrary rank, and genus 2 and rank 2. We formulate the P=W conjecture for resolution, and prove it for symplectic resolutions. We exploit the topology of birational and quasi-étale modifications of Dolbeault moduli spaces of Higgs bundles. To this end, we prove auxiliary results of independent interest, like the construction of a relative compactification of the Hodge moduli space for reductive algebraic groups, and…
Motivated by spectral gluing patterns in the Betti Langlands program, we show that for any reductive group $G$, a parabolic subgroup $P$, and a topological surface $M$, the (enhanced) spectral Eisenstein series category of $M$ is the factorization homology over $M$ of the $\mathrm{E}_2$-Hecke category $\mathrm{H}_{G, P} = \mathrm{IndCoh}(\mathrm{LS}_{G, P}(D^2, S^1))$, where $\mathrm{LS}_{G, P}(D^2, S^1)$ denotes the moduli stack of $G$-local systems on a disk together with a $P$-reduction on the boundary circle. More generally, for any pair of stacks $\mathcal{Y}\to \mathcal{Z}$ satisfying so…
We study the locus of the moduli space of Higgs bundles on a curve given by those Higgs bundles obtained by pushforward under an unramified cover. We equip these loci with a hyperholomorphic bundle so that they can be viewed as BBB-branes, and we introduce corresponding BAA-branes which can be described via Hecke modifications. We then show how these branes are naturally dual via explicit Fourier--Mukai transform, where we recall that the structure group $\mathrm{GL}(n,\mathbb{C})$ is Langlands self dual. It is noteworthy that these branes lie over the singular locus of the Hitchin fibration. …
