Galilean $W_3$ vertex operator algebra $\mathcal GW_3(c_L,c_M)$ is constructed as a universal enveloping vertex algebra of certain non-linear Lie conformal algebra. It is proved that this algebra is simple by using determinant formula of the vacuum module. Reducibility criterion for Verma modules is given, and the existence of subsingular vectors demonstrated. Free field realisation of $\mathcal GW_3(c_L,c_M)$ and its highest weight modules is obtained within a rank 4 lattice VOA.
A definition of a quantum vertex algebra, which is a deformation of a vertex algebra, was proposed by Etingof and Kazhdan in 1998. In a nutshell, a quantum vertex algebra is a braided state-field correspondence which satisfies associativity and braided locality axioms. We develop a structure theory of quantum vertex algebras, parallel to that of vertex algebras. In particular, we introduce braided n-products for a braided state-field correspondence and prove for quantum vertex algebras a version of the Borcherds identity.
We recall Borcherds's approach to vertex algebras via "singular commutative rings", and introduce new examples of his constructions which we compare to vertex algebras, chiral algebras, and factorization algebras. We show that all vertex algebras (resp. chiral algebras or equivalently factorization algebras) can be realized in these new categories $\text{VA}(A,H,S)$, but we also show that the functors from $\text{VA}(A,H,S)$ to vertex algebras or chiral algebras are not equivalences: a single vertex or chiral algebra may have non-equivalent realizations as an $(A, H,S)$-vertex algebra.
The main goals for this paper is i) to study of an algebraic structure of $\mathbb{N}$-graded vertex algebras $V_B$ associated to vertex $A$-algebroids $B$ when $B$ are cyclic non-Lie left Leibniz algebras, and ii) to explore relations between the vertex algebras $V_B$ and the rank one Heisenberg vertex operator algebra. To achieve these goals, we first classify vertex $A$-algebroids $B$ associated to given cyclic non-Lie left Leibniz algebras $B$. Next, we use the constructed vertex $A$-algebroids $B$ to create a family of indecomposable non-simple vertex algebras $V_B$. Finally, we use the a…
Any vertex algebra has a canonical decreasing filtration, called Li filtration, whose associated graded space has a natural structure of a vertex Poisson algebra. In this note, we introduce an analogous filtration for any SUSY vertex algebra, which was introduced by Heluani and Kac as a superfield formalism of a supersymmetric vertex algebra. We prove that the associated graded superspace of our filtration has a structure of SUSY vertex Poisson algebras. We also introduce and discuss related notions, such as Zhu's $C_2$-Poisson superalgebras, associated superschemes and singular supports, for …
Herein we study conformal vectors of a Z-graded vertex algebra of (strong) CFT type. We prove that the full vertex algebra automorphism group transitively acts on the set of the conformal vectors of strong CFT type if the vertex algebra is simple. The statement is equivalent to the uniqueness of self-dual vertex operator algebra structures of a simple vertex algebra. As an application, we show that the full vertex algebra automorphism group of a simple vertex operator algebra of strong CFT type uniquely decomposes into the product of certain two subgroups and the vertex operator algebra automo…
We first investigate the algebraic structure of vertex algebroids $B$ when $B$ are simple Leibniz algebras. Next, we use these vertex algebroids $B$ to construct indecomposable non-simple $C_2$-cofinite $\mathbb{N}$-graded vertex algebras $\overline{V_B}$. In addition, we classify $\mathbb{N}$-graded irreducible $\overline{V_B}$-modules and examine conformal vectors of these $\mathbb{N}$-graded vertex algebras $\overline{V_B}$.
In present paper, some properties of Hopf action on vertex algebras will be given. We prove that $V#H$ is an $\mathcal{S}$-local vertex algebra but it is not a vertex algebra when $V$ is an $H$-module vertex algebra. In addition, we extend the $\mathcal{S}$-locality to the quantum vertex algebras.
In this paper, we give a unified construction of vertex algebras arising from infinite-dimensional Lie algebras, including the affine Kac-Moody algebras, Virasoro algebras, Heisenberg algebras and their higher rank analogs, orbifolds and deformations. We define a notion of what we call quasi vertex Lie algebra to unify these Lie algebras. Starting from any (maximal) quasi vertex Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$, we construct a corresponding vertex Lie algebra ${\mathfrak{g}}_0$, and establish a canonical isomorphism between the category of restricted $\mathfrak{g}$-modules and that of equivariant $ϕ…
Unitary vertex operator algebras are introduced and studied. It is proved that most well-known rational vertex operator algebras are unitary. The classification of unitary vertex operator algebras with central charge c less than or equal to 1 is also discussed.
Let $A$ be a finite dimensional unital commutative associative algebra and let $B$ be a finite dimensional vertex $A$-algebroid such that its Levi factor is isomorphic to $sl_2$. Under suitable conditions, we construct an indecomposable non-simple $\mathbb{N}$-graded vertex algebra $\overline{V_B}$ from the $\mathbb{N}$-graded vertex algebra $V_B$ associated with the vertex $A$-algebroid $B$. We show that this indecomposable non-simple $\mathbb{N}$-graded vertex algebra $\overline{V_B}$ is $C_2$-cofinite and has only two irreducible modules.
In this paper, we study nullity-2 toroidal extended affine Lie algebras in the context of vertex algebras and their $ϕ$-coordinated modules. Among the main results, we introduce a variant of toroidal extended affine Lie algebras, associate vertex algebras to the variant Lie algebras, and establish a canonical connection between modules for toroidal extended affine Lie algebras and $ϕ$-coordinated modules for these vertex algebras. Furthermore, by employing some results of Billig, we obtain an explicit realization of irreducible modules for the variant Lie algebras.
