Studying degenerate versions of various special polynomials have become an active area of research and yielded many interesting arithmetic and combinatorial results. Here we introduce a degenerate version of polylogarithm function, called the degenerate polylogarithm function. Then we construct new type degenerate Bernoulli polynomials and numbers, called degenerate poly-Bernoulli polynomials and numbers,by using the degenerate polylogarithm function and derive several properties on the degenerate poly-Bernoulli numbers
In this paper, we study the degenerate version of the new type Euler polynomials, namely degenerate cosine-Euler polynomials and sime-Euler polynomials and also corresponding ones for Bernoulli polynomials, namely degenerate cosine Bernoulli polynomials and degenerate sine-Bernoulli polynomials by considering the degenerate Euler polynomials of complex variable and the degenerate Bernoulli polynomials of complex variable.

The aim of this paper is to study the fully degenerate Bernoulli polynomials and numbers, which are a degenerate version of Bernoulli polynomials and numbers and arise naturally from the Volkenborn integral of the degenerate exponential functions on Zp. We find some explicit expressions for the fully degenerate Bernoulli polynomials and numbers in terms of the degenerate Stirling numbers of the second kind, the degenerate r-Stirling numbers of the second kind and of the degenerate Stirling polynomials. We also consider the degenerate poly-Bernoulli polynomials and derive explicit representatio…

As is well-known, poly-Bernoulli polynomials are defined in terms of polylogarithm functions. The aim of this paper is to furthur study some properties of the degenertae poly-Bernoulli polynomials by using three formulas coming from the recently developed lambda-umbral calculus. In more detail, among other things, we represent t…
In this paper, we consider the problem of representing any polynomial in terms of the degenerate Bernoulli polynomials and more generally of the higher-order degenerate Bernoulli polynomials. We derive explicit formulas with the help of umbral calculus and illustrate our results with some examples.

We introduce the degenerate Bernoulli numbers of the second kind as a degenerate version of the Bernoulli numbers of the second kind. We derive a family of nonlinear differential equations satisfied by a function closely related to the generating function for those numbers. We obtain explicit expressions for the coefficients appearing in those differential equations and the degenerate Bernoulli numbers of the second kind. In addition, as an application and from those differential equations we have an identity expressing the degenerate Bernoulli numbers of the second kind in terms of those numb…
In a previous paper, Rahmani introduced a new family of p-Bernoulli numbers and polynomials by means of the Gauss hypergeometric function. Motivated by this paper and as a degenerate version of those numbers and polynomials, we introduce the generalized degenerate Bernoulli numbers and polynomials again by using the Gauss hypergeometric function. In addition, we introduce the degenerate type Eulerian numbers as a degenerate version of Eulerian numbers. For the generalized degenerate Bernoulli numbers, we express them in terms of the degenerate Stirling numbers of the second kind, of the degene…

Specially, we obtain a relation between the type 2 degenerate Bernoulli polynomials of the second kind and degenerate Bernoulli polynomials of the second kind, and identity involving hihger-order analogues of those polynomials and the degenerate stirling…
Recently, Masjed-Jamei-Beyki-Koepf studied the so called new type Euler polynomials without making use of Euler polynomials of complex variable. Here we study degenerate and type 2 versions of these new type Euler polynomials, namely the type 2 degenerate cosine-Euler and type 2 degenerate sine-Euler polynomials and also the corresponding ones for Bernoulli polynomials, namely the type 2 degenerate cosine-Bernoulli and type 2 degenerate sine-Bernoulli polynomials by considering the degenerate Euler and degenerate Bernoulli polynomials of complex variable and by treating the real and imaginary …
In this paper, by introducing the degenerate Fubini-type polynomials, we give several relations with the help of the Faà di Bruno formula and some properties of Bell polynomials, and generating function methods. Also, we derive some new explicit formulas and recurrence relations for Fubini-type polynomials and numbers. Associating the degenerate Fubini-type polynomials newly defined here with degenerate Apostol-Bernoulli polynomials and degenerate Apostol-Euler polynomials of order α enables us to present additional relations for some degenerate special polynomials and numbers.
In this work we study the properties of a new algebraic variant of the degenerate Bernoulli polynomial $\tildeβ_{k}(m,x)$ and study the corresponding degenerate Bernoulli number $\tildeβ_{k}(m,1)=m^{k}β_{k}(1/m)$, where $β_{k}(λ), λ\neq 0$ is the standard degenerate Bernoulli number. Our approach relies on a new algebraic framework for generating functions and the action of a symbolic evaluation function on powers of polynomials. We show that $\tildeβ_{k}(m,x)$ displays surprising links with other mathematical objects (such as Circulant matrices and Galois fields) and enjoys many interesting a…

Here we consider the degenerate Bernstein polynomials as a degenerate version of Bernstein polynomials, which are motivated by Simsek's recent work 'Generating functions for unification of the multidimensional Bernstein polynomials and their applications'([15,16]) and Carlitz's degenerate Bernoulli polynomials. We derived thier generating function, symmetric identities, recurrence relations, and some connections with generalized falling factorial polynomials, higher-order degenerate Bernoulli polynomials and degenerate Stirling numbers of the second kind.
In this paper we introduce the generalization of Multi Poly-Euler polynomials and we investigate some relationship involving Multi Poly-Euler polynomials. Obtaining a closed formula for generalization of Multi Poly-Euler numbers therefore seems to be a natural and important problem.
We consider Bernoulli distributions and their regularizations, which are measures on the $p$-adic integers $\mathbb{Z}_p$. It is well known that their Mellin transform can be used to define $p$-adic $L$-functions. We show that for $p>2$ one of the regularized Bernoulli distributions is particularly simple and equal to a measure on $\mathbb{Z}_p$ that takes the values $\pm \frac{1}{2}$ on clopen balls. We apply this to $p$-adic $L$-functions for Dirichlet characters of $p$-power conductor and obtain Dirichlet series expansions similar to the complex case. Such expansions were studied by D. Delb…
We introduce new generalizations of the Bernoulli, Euler, and Genocchi polynomials and numbers based on the Carlitz-Tsallis degenerate exponential function and concepts of the Umbral Calculus associated with it. Also, we present generalizations of some familiar identities and connection between these kinds of Bernoulli, Euler, and Genocchi polynomials. Moreover, we establish a new analogue of the Euler identity for the degenerate Bernoulli numbers.

In this note, we give an alternative proof of the generating function of $p$-Bernoulli numbers. Our argument is based on the Euler's integral representation.
Recently, the two variable $q$-$L$-functions which interpolate the generalized $q$-Bernoulli polynomials associated with $χ$ are introduced and studied, cf. [2]. In this paper, we construct multiple Dirichlet's $q$-$L$-function which interpolates the generalized multiple $q$-Bernoulli numbers attached to $χ$ at negative integer and study its properties.

We introduce degenerate Hermite polynomials as a degenerate version of the ordinary Hermite polynomials. Then, among other things, by using the formula about representing one lambda-Sheffer polynomial in terms of other lambda-Sheffer polynomials we represent the degenerate Hermite polynomials in terms of the higher-order degenerate Bernoulli, Euler, and Frobenius-Euler polynomials and vice versa.
Many works have been done in recent years as to explorations for degenerate versions of some special polynomials and numbers, which began with the introduction of the degenerate Bernoulli and degenerate Euler polynomials by Carlitz. The aim of this paper is to study some properties, recurrence relations and identities related to the degenerate r-Bell polynomials, the two variable degenerate Fubini polynomials and the degenerate r-Stirling numbers of the second kind.
In this paper, we consider the degenerate Daehee numbers and polynomials of the second kind which are different from the previously introduced Daehee numbers and polynomials. We investigate some properties of these numbers and polynomials. In addition, we give some new identities and relations between the Daehee polynomials of the second kind and Carlitz's degenerate Bernoulli polynomials.
Recently, the higher-order Carlitz's q-Bernoulli polynomials are represented as q-Volkenborn integral on Zp by Kim. A question was asked in [13] as to finding the extended formulaeof symmetries for Bernoulli polynomials which are related to Carlitz q-Bernoulli polynomials. In this paper, we give some new identities of symmetry for the higher-order Carlitz q-Bernoulli polynomials whch are derived from multivariate q-Volkenborn integrals on Zp. We note that they are a partial answer to that question. .
The aim of this paper is to introduce several degenerate hyperbolic functions as degenerate versions of the hyperbolic functions, to evaluate Volkenborn and the fermionic $p$-adic integrals of the degenerate hyperbolic cosine and the degenerate hyperbolic sine functions and to derive from them some identities involving the degenerate Bernoulli numbers, the degenerate Euler numbers and the Cauchy numbers of the first kind.
The aim of this paper is twofold. Firstly, we investigate a finite sum involving the generalized falling factorial polynomials, in some special cases of which we express it in terms of the degenerate Stirling numbers of the second kind, the degenerate Bernoulli polynomials and the degenerate Frobenius-Euler polynomials. Secondly, we consider the degenerate Eulerian polynomials and deduce the generating function and a recurrence relation for them.
In recent years, many authors have studied Changhee and Dae- hee polynomials in connection with many special numbers and polynomials. In this paper, we investigate type 2 Changhee and Daehee numbers and polynomials and give some identities for these numbers and polynomials in relation to type 2 Euler and Bernoulli numbers and polynomials. In addition, we express the central factorial numbers of the second kind in terms of type 2 Bernoulli, type 2 Changhee and type 2 Daehee numbers of negative integral orders.

In this paper, we consider the degenerate Bell numbers and polynomials and derive some new identities of those numbers and polynomials associated with special numbers and polynomials. In addition, we investigate some properties of the degenerate Bell polynomials which are derived by using the notion of composita. From our investigation, we give some new relations between the degenerate Bell polynomials and the special polynomials.
Let $\{\cdot\}$ denote the fractional part and $n \geq 1$ be a fixed integer. In this short note, we show for any prime $p$ the one-to-one correspondence $$\sum_{ν\geq 1} \left\{\frac{n}{p^ν}\right\} > 1 \quad \iff \quad p \mid \mathrm{denom}( B_n(x) - B_n ),$$ where $B_n(x) - B_n$ is the $n$th Bernoulli polynomial without constant term and $\mathrm{denom}(\cdot)$ is its denominator, which is squarefree.
The degenerate exponentials play an important role in recent study on degenerate versions of many special numbers and polynomials, the degenerate gamma function, the degenerate umbral calculus and the degenerate q-umbral calculus. The aim of this note is to consider infinite series whose terms involve truncated degenerate exponentials together with several special numbers and to find either their values or some other expressions of them as finite sums.
In this note, starting with a little-known result of Kuo, I derive a recurrence relation for the Bernoulli numbers $B_{2 n}$, $n$ being any positive integer. This new recurrence seems advantageous in comparison to other known formulae since it allows the computation of both $B_{4 n}$ and $B_{4 n +2}$ from only $B_0, B_2,..., B_{2n}$.
I recent years, studying degenerate versions of some special polynomials, which was initiated by Carlitz in an investigation of the degenerate Bernoulli and Euler polynomials, regained lively interest of mant mathematicains. In this paper, as a degenerate version of polyexponential functions introduced by Hardy, we study degenerate polyexponential functions and derive various properties of them. Also, we introduce new type degenerate Bell polynomials, which are different from the previous studied partially degenerate Bell polynomials and arise naturally in the recent study of degenerate zero-t…

In this paper, we study the degenerate derangement polynomials and numbers, investigate some properties of those polynomials and numbers and explore their connections with the degenerate gamma distributions. In more detail, we derive their explicit expressions, recurrence relations and some identities involving the degenerate derangement polynomials and numbers and other special polynomials and numbers, which include the fully degenerate Bell polynomials, the degenerate Fubini polynomials and the degenerate Stirling numbers of both kinds. We also show that those polynomials and numbers are con…
Recently, introduced are the generalized Euler-Genocchi and generalized degenerate Euler-Genocchi polynomials. The aim of this note is to study the multi-Euler-Genocchi and degenerate multi-Euler-Genocchi polynomials which are defined by means of the multiple logarithm and generalize respectively the generalized Euler-Genocchi and generalized degenerate Euler-Genocchi polynomials. Especially, we express the former by the generalized Euler-Genocchi polynomials, the multi-Stirling numbers of the first kind and Stirling numbers of the second kind, and the latter by the generalized degenerate Eule…
