In this note we prove the estimate $M^{\sharp}_{0,s}(Tf)(x) \le c\,M_γf(x)$ for general fractional type operators $T$, where $M^{\sharp}_{0,s}$ is the local sharp maximal function and $M_γ$ the fractional maximal function, as well as a local version of this estimate. This allows us to express the local weighted control of $Tf$ by $M_γf$. Similar estimates hold for $T$ replaced by fractional type operators with kernels satisfying Hörmander-type conditions or integral operators with homogeneous kernels, and $M_γ$ replaced by an appropriate maximal function $M_T$.
We also prove two-weight, $L^p_v$-$L^q_w$ estimates for the fractional type operators described above for $1<p< q<\infty$ and a range of $q$. The local nature of the estimates leads to results involving generalized Orlicz-Campanato and Orlicz-Morrey spaces.
In this paper, we study the weighted inequality for multilinear fractional maximal operators and fractional integrals. We give sharp weighted estimates for both operators.
In this paper, we will study the boundedness properties of multilinear Calderon--Zygmund operators and multilinear fractional integrals on products of weighted Morrey spaces with multiple weights.
We investigate fractional Cauchy type problem. By using Schauder fixed point theorem we obtain sufficient conditions for the global attractivity of solutions for nonlinear fractional differential equations in weighted spaces.
In this paper, we extend the weighted Montogomery identities for the Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals. We also use this Montogomery identities to establish some new Ostrowski type integral inequalities.
In this paper we prove two matrix weighted norm inequalities for the commutator of a fractional integral operator and multiplication by a matrix symbol. More precisely, we extend the recent results of the second author, Pott, and Treil on two matrix weighted norm inequalities for commutators of Calderon-Zygmund operators and multiplication by a matrix symbol to the fractional integral operator setting. In particular, we completely extend the fractional Bloom theory of Holmes, Rahm, and Spencer to the two matrix weighted setting with a matrix
In this article we introduce the fractional Hardy-Littlewood maximal function on the infinite rooted $k$-ary tree and study its weighted boundedness. We also provide examples of weights for which the fractional Hardy-Littlewood maximal function satisfies strong type $(p, q)$ estimates on the infinite rooted $k$-ary tree.
In this paper we study the commutators of fractional type integral operators. This operators are given by kernels of theform $$K(x,y)=k_1(x-A_1y)k_2(x-A_2y)\dots k_m(x-A_my),$$ where $A_i$ are invertibles matrices and each $k_i$ satisfies a fractional size condition and generalized fractional Hörmander condition. We obtain weighted Coifman estimates, weighted $L^p(w^p)$ - $L^q(w^q)$ estimates and weighted BMO estimates. We also give a two weight strong estimate for pair of weights of the form $(u,Su)$ where $u$ is an arbitrary non-negative function and $S$ is a maximal operator depending on th…
We prove norm estimates for multilinear fractional integrals acting on weighted and variable Hardy spaces. In the weighted case we develop ideas we used for multilinear singular integrals [7]. For the variable exponent case, a key element of our proof is a new multilinear, off-diagonal version of the Rubio de Francia extrapolation theorem.
We characterize the real interpolation space between a weighted $L^p$ space and a weighted Sobolev space in arbitrary bounded domains in $\mathbb{R}^n$, with weights that are positive powers of the distance to the boundary.
In this paper we prove several weighted estimates for bilinear fractional integral operators and their commutators with BMO functions. We also prove maximal function control theorem for these operators, that is, we prove the weighted $L^p$ norm is bounded by the weighted $L^p$ norm of a natural maximal operator when the weight belongs to $A_\infty$. As a corollary we are able to obtain new weighted estimates for the bilinear maximal function associated to the bilinear Hilbert transform.
In this article, we present weighted norm inequality for a fractional one-sided minimal function. We prove weighted weak and strong type norm inequalities for the one-sided minimal function on $\mathbb{R}.$ We construct two weight classes to ensure the sufficient and necessary part of the weak and strong type estimates. Later, we establish an equivalence relation between these two weight classes.
Let $0<α<n$ and $I_α$ be the fractional integral operator. In this paper, we shall use a unified approach to show some boundedness properties of commutators $[b,I_α]$ on the weighted Morrey spaces $L^{p,κ}(w)$ under appropriate conditions on the weight $w$, where the symbol $b$ belongs to weighted $BMO$ or Lipschitz space or weighted Lipschitz space.
The operators of fractional calculus come in many different types, which can be categorised into general classes according to their nature and properties. We conduct a formal study of the class known as weighted fractional calculus and its extension to the larger class known as weighted fractional calculus with respect to functions. These classes contain tempered, Hadamard-type, and Erdélyi--Kober operators as special cases, and in general they can be related to the classical Riemann--Liouville fractional calculus via conjugation relations. Considering the corresponding modifications of the La…
In this paper, we will give the weighted bounds for multilinear fractional maximal type operators $\mathcal{M}_{Ω,α}$ with rough homogeneous kernels. We obtain a mixed $A_{(\vec{P},q)}-A_\infty$ bound and a $A_{\vec{P}}$ type estimate for $\mathcal{M}_{Ω,α}$. As an application, we give an almost sharp estimate for the multilinear fractional integral operator with rough kernels $\mathcal{I}_{Ω,α}$.
Let $M_{Ω,α}$ and $T_{Ω,α}$ be the fractional maximal and integral operators with rough kernels, where $0<α<n$. In this paper, we shall study the continuity properties of $M_{Ω,α}$ and $T_{Ω,α}$ on the weighted Morrey spaces $L^{p,κ}(w)$. The boundedness of their commutators with BMO functions is also obtained.
We prove a weighted version of the Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality for radially symmetric functions, and show that the range of admissible power weights appearing in the classical inequality due to Stein and Weiss can be improved in this particular case.
This paper mainly dedicates to prove a plethora of weighted estimates on Morrey spaces for bilinear fractional integral operators and their general commutators with BMO functions of the form $$B_α(f,g)(x)=\int_{\mathbb{R}^{n}}\frac{f(x-y)g(x+y)}{|y|^{n-α}}dy,\qquad 0<α<n.$$ We also prove some maximal function control theorems for these operators, that is, the weighted Morrey norm is bounded by the weighted Morrey norm of a natural maximal operator when the weight belongs to $A_{\infty}$. As a corollary, some new weighted estimates for the bilinear maximal function associated to the bilinear Hi…
In this paper, we first introduce some new classes of weighted amalgam spaces. Then we give the weighted strong-type and weak-type estimates for fractional integral operators $I_γ$ on these new function spaces. Furthermore, the weighted strong-type estimate and endpoint estimate of linear commutators $[b,I_γ]$ generated by $b$ and $I_γ$ are established as well. In addition, we are going to study related problems about two-weight, weak type inequalities for $I_γ$ and $[b,I_γ]$ on the weighted amalgam spaces and give some results. Based on these results and pointwise domination, we can prove nor…
In this article, we introduce an analogue of Kenig and Stein's bilinear fractional integral operator on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^n$. We completely characterize exponents $α, β$ and $γ$ such that the operator is bounded from $L^{p}(\mathbb{H}^n, |x|^{αp})\times L^{q}(\mathbb{H}^n, |x|^{βq})$ to $L^{r}(\mathbb{H}^n, |x|^{-γr})$.
We prove weighted norm inequalities for fractional powers of elliptic operators together with their commutators with BMO functions, encompassing what is known for the classical Riesz potentials and elliptic operators with Gaussian domination by the classical heat operator. The method relies upon a good-$λ$ method that does not use any size or smoothness estimates for the kernels.
Let $L$ be the infinitesimal generator of an analytic semigroup on $L^2(\mathbb R^n)$ with Gaussian kernel bound, and let $L^{-α/2}$ be the fractional integrals of $L$ for $0<α<n$. In this paper, we will obtain some boundedness properties of commutators $\big[b,L^{-α/2}\big]$ on the weighted Morrey spaces $L^{p,κ}(w)$ when the symbol $b$ belongs to $BMO(\mathbb R^n)$ or homogeneous Lipschitz space.
In this paper, we first introduce some new Morrey type spaces containing generalized Morrey space and weighted Morrey space with two weights as special cases. Then we give the weighted strong type and weak type estimates for fractional integral operators $I_α$ in these new Morrey type spaces. Furthermore, the weighted strong type estimate and endpoint estimate of linear commutators $[b,I_α]$ formed by $b$ and $I_α$ are established. Also we study related problems about two-weight, weak type inequalities for $I_α$ and $[b,I_α]$ in the Morrey type spaces and give partial results.
For any $0<α<n$, the homogeneous fractional integral operator $T_{Ω,α}$ is defined by \begin{equation*} T_{Ω,α}f(x)=\int_{\mathbb R^n}\frac{Ω(x-y)}{|x-y|^{n-α}}f(y)\,dy. \end{equation*} In this paper, we prove that if $Ω$ satisfies certain Dini smoothness conditions on $\mathbf{S}^{n-1}$, then $T_{Ω,α}$ is bounded from $L^{p,κ}(w^p,w^q)$ (weighted Morrey space) to $\mathrm{BMO}(\mathbb R^n)$.
In this paper we prove two-weighted norm estimates for higher order commutator of singular integral and fractional type operators between weighted $L^p$ and certain spaces that include Lipschitz, BMO and Morrey spaces. We also give the optimal parameters involved with these results, where the optimality is understood in the sense that the parameters defining the corresponding spaces belong to certain region out of which the classes of weights are satisfied by trivial weights. We also exhibit pairs of non-trivial weights in the optimal region satisfying the conditions required.
Let $0<γ<n$ and $I_γ$ be the fractional integral operator of order $γ$, $I_γf(x)=\int_{\mathbb R^n}|x-y|^{γ-n}f(y)\,dy$, and let $[b,I_γ]$ be the linear commutator generated by a symbol function $b$ and $I_γ$, $[b,I_γ]f(x)=b(x)\cdot I_γf(x)-I_γ(bf)(x)$. This paper is concerned with two-weight, weak type norm estimates for such operators on the weighted Morrey and amalgam spaces. Based on weak-type norm inequalities on weighted Lebesgue spaces and certain $A_p$-type conditions on pairs of weights, we can establish the weak-type norm inequalities for fractional integral operator $I_γ$ as well as…
The aim of this paper is to obtain mixed weak-type inequalities for multilinear fractional operators, extending results by F. Berra, M. Carena and G. Pradolini \cite{BCP}. We prove that, under certain conditions on the weights, there exists a constant $C$ such that $$\Bigg\| \frac{\mathcal G_α(\vec f \,)}{v}\Bigg\|_{L^{q, \infty}(νv^q)} \leq C \ \prod_{i=1}^m{\|f_i\|_{L^1(u_i)}},$$ where $\mathcal G_α(\vec f \,)$ is the multilinear maximal function $\mathcal M_α(\vec f\,)$ that was introduced by K. Moen in \cite{M} or the multilineal fractional integral $\mathcal I_α(\vec f \,)$. As an applica…
Given an $m$-tuple of weights $\vec{v}=(v_1,\dots,v_m)$, we characterize the classes of pairs $(w,\vec{v})$ involved with the boundedness properties of the multilinear fractional integral operator from $\prod_{i=1}^mL^{p_i}\left(v_i^{p_i}\right)$ into suitable Lipschitz spaces associated to a parameter $δ$, $\mathcal{L}_w(δ)$. Our results generalize some previous estimates not only for the linear case but also for the unweighted problem in the multilinear context. We emphasize the study related to the range of the parameters involved with the problem described above, which is optimal in the se…
The aim of this paper is to get the product Lp-estimates, weighted estimates and two-weighted estimates for rough multilinear fractional integral operators and rough multi-sublinear fractional maximal operators, respectively. The author also studies two-weighted weak type estimate on product Lp (Rn) for rough multi-sublinear fractional maximal operators. In fact, this article is the rough kernel versions of [4, 5]' s results.
We consider a version of M. Riesz fractional integral operator on a space of homogeneous type and show an analogue of the well-known Hardy--Littlewood--Sobolev theorem in this context. In our main result, we investigate the dependence of the operator norm on weighted spaces on the weight constant, and find the relationship between these two quantities. It it shown that the estimate obtained is sharp in any given space of homogeneous type with infinitely many points. Our result generalizes the recent Euclidean result by Lacey, Moen, P{é}rez and Torres.
In this paper, we obtain the weighted boundedness for the local multi(sub)linear Hardy-Littlewood maximal operators and local multilinear fractional integral operators associated with the local Muckenhoupt weights on Gaussian measure spaces. We deal with these problems by introducing a new pointwise equivalent "radial" definitions of these local operators. Moreover using a similar approach, we also get the weighted boundedness for the local fractional maximal operators with rough kernel and local fractional integral operators with rough kernel on Gaussian measure spaces.
In this paper, the following iterated commutators $T_{*,Πb}$ of maximal operator for multilinear singular integral operators and $I_{α, Πb}$ of multilinear fractional integral operator are introduced and studied $$\aligned T_{*,Πb}(\vec{f})(x)&=\sup_{δ>0}\bigg|[b_1,[b_2,...[b_{m-1},[b_m,T_δ]_m]_{m-1}...]_2]_1 (\vec{f})(x)\bigg|,$$ $$\aligned I_{α, Πb}(\vec{f})(x)&=[b_1,[b_2,...[b_{m-1},[b_m,I_α]_m]_{m-1}...]_2]_1 (\vec{f})(x),$$ where $T_δ$ are the smooth truncations of the multilinear singular integral operators and $I_α$ is the multilinear fractional integral operator, $b_i\in BMO$ for $i=1,…
We investigate one and two weight norm inequalities for product fractional integrals. We show that in the one weight case, most of the 1 parameter theory carries over to the 2 parameter setting. However, in the two weight case, apart from the trivial case of product weights, the rectangle characteristic never controls the operator norm without side conditions. The Stein-Weiss extension of the classical Hardy-Littlewood-Sobolev inequality carries over to the setting of 2 parameters with nonproduct power weights using a sandwiching technique.
This paper studies the following weighted, fractional Bernstein inequality for spherical polynomials on $\sph$: \begin{equation}\label{4-1-TD-ab} \|(-Δ_0)^{r/2} f\|_{p,w}\leq C_w n^{r} \|f\|_{p,w}, \ \ \forall f\in Π_n^d, \end{equation} where $Π_n^d$ denotes the space of all spherical polynomials of degree at most $n$ on $\sph$, and $(-Δ_0)^{r/2}$ is the fractional Laplacian-Beltrami operator on $\sph$. A new class of doubling weights with conditions weaker than the $A_p$ is introduced, and used to fully characterize those doubling weights $w$ on $\sph$ for which the weighted Bernstein inequal…
The aim of this paper is to study two-weight norm inequalities for fractional maximal functions and fractional Bergman operator defined on the upper-half space. Namely, we characterize those pairs of weights for which these maximal operators satisfy strong and weak type inequalities. Our characterizations are in terms of Sawyer and Békollé-Bonami type conditions. We also obtain a $Φ$-bump characterization for these maximal functions, where $Φ$ is a Orlicz function. As a consequence, we obtain two-weight norm inequalities for fractional Bergman operators. Finally, we provide some sharp weighted…

Let $\mathcal L=-Δ+V$ be a Schrödinger operator on $\mathbb R^d$, $d\geq3$, where $Δ$ is the Laplacian operator on $\mathbb R^d$ and the nonnegative potential $V$ belongs to the reverse Hölder class $RH_s$ for $s\geq d/2$. For given $0<α<d$, the fractional integrals associated to the Schrödinger operator $\mathcal L$ is defined by $\mathcal I_α={\mathcal L}^{-α/2}$.Suppose that $b$ is a locally integrable function on $\mathbb R^d$, the commutator generated by $b$ and $\mathcal I_α$ is defined by $[b,\mathcal I_α]f(x)=b(x)\cdot \mathcal I_αf(x)-\mathcal I_α(bf)(x)$. In this paper, we first intr…
We characterize one-sided weighted Sobolev spaces $W^{1,p}(\mathbb{R},ω)$, where $ω$ is a one-sided Sawyer weight, in terms of a.e.~and weighted $L^p$ limits as $α\to1^-$ of Marchaud fractional derivatives of order $α$. Similar results for weighted Sobolev spaces $W^{2,p}(\mathbb{R}^n,ν)$, where $ν$ is an $A_p$-Muckenhoupt weight, are proved in terms of limits as $s\to1^-$ of fractional Laplacians $(-Δ)^s$. These are Bourgain--Brezis--Mironescu-type characterizations for weighted Sobolev spaces. We also complement their work by studying a.e.~and weighted $L^p$ limits as $α,s\to0^+$.
$Γ$-convergence methods are used to prove homogenization results for fractional obstacle problems in periodically perforated domains. The obstacles have random sizes and shapes and their capacity scales according to a stationary ergodic process. We use a trace-like representation of fractional Sobolev norms in terms of weighted Sobolev energies established by Caffarelli and Silvestre, a weighted ergodic theorem and a joining lemma in varying domains following the approach by Ansini and Braides. Our proof is alternative to those contained in the papers by Caffarelli and Mellet.
In this paper, we obtain new results related to Minkowski fractional integral inequality using generalized k-fractional integral operator which is in terms of the Gauss hypergeometric function.
The relationship between the operator norms of fractional integral operators acting on weighted Lebesgue spaces and the constant of the weights is investigated. Sharp boundsare obtained for both the fractional integral operators and the associated fractional maximal functions. As an application improved Sobolev inequalities are obtained. Some of the techniques used include a sharp off-diagonal version of the extrapolation theorem of Rubio de Francia and characterizations of two-weight norm inequalities.
In this paper we find fractional Riemann-Liouville derivatives for the Takagi-Landsberg functions. Moreover, we introduce their generalizations called weighted Takagi-Landsberg functions which have arbitrary bounded coefficients in the expansion under Schauder basis. The class of the weighted Takagi- Landsberg functions of order $H>0$ on $[0,1]$ coincides with the $H$-Hölder continuous functions on $[0,1]$. Based on computed fractional integrals and derivatives of the Haar and Schauder functions, we get a new series representation of the fractional derivatives of a Hölder continuous function. …
We study classical weighted $L^p\to L^q$ inequalities for the fractional maximal operators on $\R^d$, proved originally by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden in the 70's. We establish a slightly stronger version of this inequality with the use of a novel extension of Bellman function method. More precisely, the estimate is deduced from the existence of a certain special function which enjoys appropriate majorization and concavity. From this result and an explicit version of the ``$A_{p-\varepsilon}$ theorem," derived also with Bellman functions, we obtain the sharp inequality of Lacey, Moen, Pérez and To…
We give a constructive proof of the factorization theorem for the classical Hardy space in terms of fractional integral operator. Moreover, the result is extended to the multilinear case and weighted case. As an application, we obtain the characterization of $BMO$ via the weighted boundedness of commutators of the multilinear fractional integral operator, without individual conditions on the weights class.
