We report the conjectures on the three-dimensional (3D) Ising model on simple orthorhombic lattices, together with the details of calculations for a putative exact solution. Two conjectures, an additional rotation in the fourth curled-up dimension and the weight factors on the eigenvectors, are proposed to serve as a boundary condition to deal with the topologic problem of the 3D Ising model. The partition function of the 3D simple orthorhombic Ising model is evaluated by spinor analysis, by employing these conjectures. Based on the validity of the conjectures, the critical temperature of the simple orthorhombic Ising lattices could be determined by the relation of KK* = KK' + KK'' + K'K'' or sinh 2K sinh 2(K' + K'' + K'K''/K) = 1. For a simple cubic Ising lattice, the critical point is putatively determined to locate exactly at the golden ratio xc = exp(-2Kc) = (sq(5) - 1)/2, as derived from K* = 3K or sinh 2K sinh 6K = 1. If the conjectures would be true, the specific heat of the simple orthorhombic Ising system would show a logarithmic singularity at the critical point of the phase transition. The spontaneous magnetization and the spin correlation functions of the simple orthorhombic Ising ferromagnet are derived explicitly. The putative critical exponents derived explicitly for the simple orthorhombic Ising lattices are alpha = 0, beta = 3/8, gamma = 5/4, delta = 13/3, eta = 1/8 and nu = 2/3, showing the universality behavior and satisfying the scaling laws. The cooperative phenomena near the critical point are studied and the results obtained based on the conjectures are compared with those of the approximation methods and the experimental findings. The 3D to 2D crossover phenomenon differs with the 2D to 1D crossover phenomenon and there is a gradual crossover of the exponents from the 3D values to the 2D ones.
Phase transitions of the mixed spin-1/2 and spin-S Ising model on a three-dimensional decorated lattice with a layered structure

In this work, the order parameter or average magnetization expressions are obtained for the square and the honeycomb lattices based on recently obtained magnetization relation, $<σ_{0,i}>= <\!\!\tanh[ κ(σ_{1,i}+σ_{2,i}+\dots +σ_{z,i})+H]\!\!> $. Where, $κ$ is the coupling strength and $z$ is the number of nearest neighbors. $σ_{0,i}$ denotes the central spin at the $i^{th}$ site while $σ_{l,i}$, $l=1,2,\dots,z$, are the nearest neighbor spins around the central spin. In our investigation, inevitably we have to make a conjecture about the three site correlation function appearing in the obtaine…
Recently we have performed large-scale average magnetization studies of the Ising model for the square, honeycomb, triangular, and simple cubic lattice. We want to complement those studies with the structurally more complicated body-centered cubic lattice Ising model in this paper. We have relevantly calculated the order parameter or average magnetization expression for the body-centered cubic Ising lattice based on the recently developed interrelation, given by $\langleσ_{0, i}\rangle= \langle\tanh[K(σ_{1,i}+σ_{2,i}+\dots +σ_{z,i})+H]\rangle$. We will use the same conjectures for the odd spin…

We study the features extracted by the Restricted Boltzmann Machine (RBM) when it is trained with spin configurations of Ising model at various temperatures. Using the trained RBM, we obtain the flow of iterative reconstructions (RBM flow) of the spin configurations and find that in some cases the flow approaches the phase transition point $T=T_c$ in Ising model. Since the extracted features are emphasized in the reconstructed configurations, the configurations at such a fixed point should describe nothing but the extracted features. Then we investigate the dependence of the fixed point on var…
In this work, the susceptibility of the square lattice Ising model is investigated using the recently obtained average magnetization interrelation, which is given by $\langleσ_{0, i}\rangle= \langle\tanh[K(σ_{1,i}+σ_{2,i}+\dots +σ_{z,i})+H]\rangle $. Here, $z$ is the number of nearest neighbors, $σ_{0,i}$ denotes the central spin at the $i^{th}$ site while $σ_{l,i}$, $l=1,2,\dots,z$, are the nearest neighbor spins around the central spin, $K=J/(k_{B}T)$, where $J$ is the nearest neighbor coupling constant, $k_{B}$ is the Boltzmann's constant and $T$ is the temperature of the system. In our inv…
The present work clarifies a failure of the effective-field theory in predicting a false spontaneous long-range order and phase transition of Ising nanoparticles, nanoislands, nanotubes and nanowires with either zero- or one-dimensional magnetic dimensionality. It is conjectured that the standard formulation of the effective-field theory due to Honmura and Kaneyoshi generally predicts for the Ising spin systems a spurious spontaneous long-range order with nonzero critical temperature regardless of their magnetic dimensionality whenever at least one Ising spin has coordination number greater th…
We review the problem of determining the ground states of 2D Ising models with nearest neighbor ferromagnetic and dipolar interactions, and prove a new result supporting the conjecture that, if the nearest neighbor coupling $J$ is sufficiently large, the ground states are periodic and `striped'. More precisely, we prove a restricted version of the conjecture, by constructing the minimizers within the variational class of states whose domain walls are arbitrary collections of horizontal and/or vertical straight lines.
We study the critical behavior of the Ising model in three dimensions on a lattice with site disorder by using Monte Carlo simulations. The disorder is either uncorrelated or long-range correlated with correlation function that decays according to a power-law $r^{-a}$. We derive the critical exponent of the correlation length $ν$ and the confluent correction exponent $ω$ in dependence of $a$ by combining different concentrations of defects $0.05 \leq p_d \leq 0.4$ into one global fit ansatz and applying finite-size scaling techniques. We simulate and study a wide range of different correlation…
The interplay of correlated spatial modulation and symmetry breaking leads to quantum critical phenomena intermediate between those of the clean and randomly disordered cases. By performing a detailed analytic and numerical case study of the quasi-periodically (QP) modulated transverse field Ising chain, we provide evidence for the conjectures of Ref. [Crowley et. al. 2018] regarding the QP-Ising universality class. In the generic case, we confirm that the logarithmic wandering coefficient $w$ governs both the macroscopic critical exponents and the energy-dependent localisation length of the c…
We study the tricritical Ising universality class using conformal bootstrap techniques. By studying bootstrap constraints originating from multiple correlators on the CFT data of multiple OPEs, we are able to determine the scaling dimension of the spin field $Δ_σ$ in various non-integer dimensions $2 \le d \le 3$. $Δ_σ$ is connected to the critical exponent $η$ that governs the (tri-)critical behaviour of the two point function via the relation, $η= 2 - d + 2 Δ_σ$. Our results for $Δ_σ$ match with the exactly known values in two and three dimensions and are a conjecture for non-integer dimensi…
In planar lattice statistical mechanics models like coupled Ising with quartic interactions, vertex and dimer models, the exponents depend on all the Hamiltonian details. This corresponds, in the Renormalization Group language, to a line of fixed points. A form of universality is expected to hold, implying that all the exponents can be expressed by exact "Kadanoff" relations in terms of a single one of them. This conjecture has been recently established and we review here the key step of the proof, obtained by rigorous Renormalization Group methods and valid irrespectively on the solvability o…
