Rejoinder on "Conjectures on exact solution of three-dimensional (3D) simple orthorhombic Ising lattices"

It is shown that the arguments in the reply of Z.-D. Zhang (arXiv:0812.0194) to the comment arXiv:0811.1802 defending his conjectures in arXiv:0705.1045 are invalid. His conjectures have been thoroughly disproved.

Rejoinder on: Thermostatistics of Overdamped Motion of Interacting Particles

In their Reply [arXiv:1104.5036] to our Comment [arXiv:1104.0697] Andrade et al. state that we have "chosen to categorically dismiss their elaborate and solid conceptual approach without employing any concepts or tools from Statistical Mechanics". Because of the one page restriction imposed by PRL, we could not address all of the flaws of the original paper. Comment on a recent conjectured solution of the three-dimensional Ising model arXiv:0705.1045

In a recent paper published in the Philosophical Magazine [Z.-D. Zhang, Phil. Mag. 87, 5309-5419 (2007), arXiv:0705.1045], the author advances a conjectured solution for various properties of the three-dimensional Ising model. Here we disprove the conjecture and point out the flaws in the arguments leading to the conjectured expressions.

This is a Response to a recent Comment [F.Y. Wu et al., Phil. Mag. 88, 3093 (2008), arXiv:0811.3876] on the conjectured solution of the three-dimensional (3D) Ising model [Z.D. Zhang, Phil. Response to arXiv:1209.0731 'Erroneous solution of three-dimensional (3D) simple orthorhombic Ising lattices' by Perk

This paper is a Response to Professor J.H.H. Perk's recent Comment (arXiv:1209.0731v1). We point out that the singularities of the reduced free energy βf, the free energy per site f and the free energy F of the 3D Ising model differ at β = 0. The rigorous proof presented in the Perk's Comment is only for the analyticity of the reduced free energy βf, which loses its definition at β = 0. Form-factors in the Baxter-Bazhanov-Stroganov model II: Ising model on the finite lattice

We continue our investigation of the Baxter-Bazhanov-Stroganov or τ^{(2)}-model using the method of separation of variables [nlin/0603028,arXiv:0708.4342]. In this paper we derive for the first time the factorized formula for form-factors of the Ising model on a finite lattice conjectured previously by A.Bugrij and O.Lisovyy in [arXiv:0708.3625,arXiv:0708.3643]. We also find the matrix elements of the spin operator for the finite quantum Ising chain in a transverse field.

Four-point geometrical correlation functions in the two-dimensional $Q$-state Potts model: connections with the RSOS models

The "bootstrap determination" of the geometrical correlation functions in the two-dimensional Potts model proposed in a paper [arXiv:1607.07224] was later shown in [arXiv:1809.02191] to be incorrect, the actual spectrum of the model being considerably more complex than initially conjectured. We provide in this paper a geometrical interpretation of the four-point functions built in [arXiv:1607.07224], and explain why the results obtained by these authors, albeit incorrect, appeared so close to those of their numerical simulations of the Potts model.
