We study the monomial crystal defined by the second author. We show that each component of the monomial crystal can be embedded into a crystal of an extremal weight module introduced by Kashiwara. And we determine all monomials appearing in the components corresponding to all level 0 fundamental representations of quantum affine algebras except for some nodes of $E_6^{(2)}$, $E_7^{(1)}$, $E_8^{(1)}$. Thus we obtain explicit descriptions of the crystals in these examples. We also give those for the corresponding finite dimensional representations. For classical types, we give them in terms of tableaux. For exceptional types, we list up all monomials.
We shall describe explicitly the decoration functions for certain decorated geometric crystals of classical groups and we shall show that they are represented in terms of monomial realizations of crystal bases.
We shall show that for type $A_n$ the realization of crystal bases obtained from the decorated geometric crystals intorduced by Berenstein and Kazhdan coincides with our polyhedral realizations of crystal bases. We also observe certain relations of decorations and monomial realizations of crystal bases.
In this paper, we give a new realization of crystal bases for irreducible highest weight modules over $U_q(G_2)$ in terms of monomials. We also discuss the natural connection between the monomial realization and tableau realization.
We present explicit descriptions of the crystals $\mathcal{B}(\infty)$ and $\mathcal{B}(λ)$ over special linear Lie algebras in the language of \emph{extended Nakajima monomials}. There is a natural correspondence between the monomial description and Young tableau realization, which is another realization of crystals $\mathcal{B}(\infty)$ and $\mathcal{B}(λ)$.
We consider a product of fundamental crystals in monomial realization of type A. Then we shall show that the product holds crystal structure and describe how it is decomposed into irreducible crystals, which is, in general, different from the decomposition for tensor product of the fundamental crystals.
In this paper we construct a new family of representations for the quantum toroidal algebras of type $A_n$, which are $\ell$-extremal in the sense of Hernandez [24]. We construct extremal loop weight modules associated to level 0 fundamental weights $\varpi_\ell$ when $n=2r+1$ is odd and $\ell=1, r+1$ or $n$. To do it, we relate monomial realizations of level 0 extremal fundamental weight crystals with integrable representations of $\mathcal{U}_q(sl_{n+1}^{tor})$, and we introduce promotion operators for the level 0 extremal fundamental weight crystals. By specializing the quantum parameter, w…
Recently Fayers introduced a large family of combinatorial realizations of the fundamental crystal for affine sl(n), where the vertices are indexed by certain partitions. He showed that special cases of this construction agree with the Misra-Miwa realization and with Berg's ladder crystal. Here we show that another special case is naturally isomorphic to a realization using Nakajima's monomial crystal.
Let $λ$ be a (level-zero) dominant integral weight for an untwisted affine Lie algebra, and let $\mathrm{QLS}(λ)$ denote the quantum Lakshmibai-Seshadri (QLS) paths of shape $λ$. For an element $w$ of a finite Weyl group $W$, the specializations at $t = 0$ and $t = \infty$ of the nonsymmetric Macdonald polynomial $E_{w λ}(q, t)$ are explicitly described in terms of QLS paths of shape $λ$ and the degree function defined on them. Also, for (level-zero) dominant integral weights $λ$, $μ$, we have an isomorphism $Θ: \mathrm{QLS}(λ+ μ) \rightarrow \mathrm{QLS}(λ) \otimes \mathrm{QLS}(μ)$ of crystal…
Let $G$ be a simply connected simple algebraic group over $\mathbb{C}$, $B$ and $B_-$ be two opposite Borel subgroups in $G$ and $W$ be the Weyl group. For $u$, $v\in W$, it is known that the coordinate ring ${\mathbb C}[G^{u,v}]$ of the double Bruhat cell $G^{u,v}=BuB\cap B_-vB_-$ is isomorphic to an upper cluster algebra $\bar{\mathcal A}({\bf i})_{\mathbb C}$ and the generalized minors $\{Δ(k;{\bf i})\}$ are the cluster variables belonging to a given initial seed in ${\mathbb C}[G^{u,v}]$ [Berenstein A., Fomin S., Zelevinsky A., Duke Math. J. 126 (2005), 1-52, math.RT/0305434]. In the case …
Let $G$ be a simply connected simple algebraic group over $\mathbb{C}$, $B$ and $B_-$ its two opposite Borel subgroups, and $W$ the associated Weyl group. It is shown that the coordinate ring ${\mathbb C}[G^{u,v}]$ ($u$, $v\in W$) of the double Bruhat cell $G^{u,v}=BuB\cap B_-vB_-$ is isomorphic to the cluster algebra ${\mathcal{A}}(\textbf{i})_{\mathbb C}$ and the initial cluster variables of ${\mathbb C}[G^{u,v}]$ are the generalized minors $Δ(k;\textbf{i})$ by Berenstein, Fomin, Zelevinsky, Goodearl and Yakimov. In the case that a classical group $G$ is of type ${\rm B}_r$, ${\rm C}_r$ or $…
We present a vertex operator algebra which is an extension of the level $k$ vertex operator algebra for the $\hat{sl}_2$ conformal field theory. We construct monomial basis of its irreducible representations.
A previous work gave a combinatorial description of the crystal $B(\infty)$, in terms of certain simple Young tableaux referred to as the marginally large tableaux, for finite dimensional simple Lie algebras. Using this result, we present an explicit description of the crystal $B(λ)$, in terms of the marginally large tableaux, for the $G_2$ Lie algebra type. We also provide a new description of $B(\la)$, in terms of Nakajima monomials, that is in natural correspondence with our tableau description.
We study the crystal base of the negative part of a quantum group. Two explicit descriptions of the crystal $B(\infty)$ for types $G_2$ are given. The first is given in terms of extended Nakajima monomials and the second realization follows a similar result given for other finite types by Cliff.
For a classical group $G$ and a Coxeter element $c$ of the Weyl group, it is known that the coordinate ring $\mathbb{C}[G^{e,c^2}]$ of the double Bruhat cell $G^{e,c^2}:=B\cap B_-c^2B_-$ has a structure of cluster algebra of finite type, where $B$ and $B_-$ are opposite Borel subgroups. In this article, we consider the case $G$ is of type ${\rm B}_r$, ${\rm C}_r$ or ${\rm D}_r$ and describe all the cluster variables in $\mathbb{C}[G^{e,c^2}]$ as monomial realizations of certain Demazure crystals.
Let $G$ be a simply connected simple algebraic group over $\mathbb{C}$, $B$ and $B_-$ be its two opposite Borel subgroups. For two elements $u$, $v$ of the Weyl group $W$, it is known that the coordinate ring ${\mathbb C}[G^{u,v}]$ of the double Bruhat cell $G^{u,v}=BuB\cap B_-vB_-$ is isomorphic to a cluster algebra $\mathcal{A}(\textbf{i})_{\mathbb C}$ [arXiv:math/0305434, arXiv:1602.00498]. In the case $u=e$, $v=c^2$ ($c$ is a Coxeter element), the algebra ${\mathbb C}[G^{e,c^2}]$ has only finitely many cluster variables. In this article, for $G={\rm SL}_{r+1}(\mathbb{C})$, we obtain explic…
We show that the different labelings of the crystal graph for irreducible highest weight $\mathcal{U}\_q (\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}\_e)$-modules lead to different labelings of the simple modules for non semisimple Ariki-Koike algebras by using Lusztig $a$-values.
We present a uniform construction of level 1 perfect crystals $\mathcal B$ for all affine Lie algebras. We also introduce the notion of a crystal algebra and give an explicit description of its multiplication. This allows us to determine the energy function on $\mathcal B \otimes \mathcal B$ completely and thereby give a path realization of the basic representations at $q=0$ in the homogeneous picture.
We give a simple description of the natural bijection between the set of FLOTW bipartitions and the set of Uglov bipartitions (which generalizes the set of Kleshchev bipartitions). These bipartitions, which label the crystal graphs of irreducible $\mathcal{U}\_v({\hat{\mathfrak{sl}}\_e})$-modules of level two, naturally appear in the context of the modular representation theory of Hecke algebras of type $B\_n$.
With the help of path realization and affine energy function, we give a Young wall construction of level-1 highest weight crystals $B(λ)$ over $U_{q}(G_{2}^{(1)})$ and $U_{q}(D_{4}^{(3)})$. Our construction is based on four different shapes of colored blocks, $\mathbf O$-block, $\mathbf I$-block, $\mathbf L$-block and $\mathbf{LL}$-block, obtained by cutting the unit cube in three different ways.
Consider Kashiwara's crystal associated to a highest weight representation of a symmetric Kac-Moody algebra. There is a geometric realization of this object using Nakajima's quiver varieties, but in many particular cases it can also be realized by elementary combinatorial methods. Here we propose a framework for extracting combinatorial realizations from the geometric picture: We construct certain torus actions on the quiver varieties and use Morse theory to index the irreducible components by connected components of the subvariety of torus fixed points. We then discuss the case of affine sl(n…
We consider two types of quotients of the integrable modules of $\hat{sl}_2$. These spaces of coinvariants have dimensions described in terms of the Verlinde algebra of level-$k$. We describe monomial bases for the spaces of coinvariants, which leads to a fermionic description of these spaces. For $k=1$, we give the explicit formulas for the characters. We also present recursion relations satisfied by the characters and the monomial bases.
We show that a tensor product of nonexceptional type Kirillov--Reshetikhin (KR) crystals is isomorphic to a direct sum of Demazure crystals; we do this in the mixed level case and without the perfectness assumption, thus generalizing a result of Naoi. We use this result to show that, given two tensor products of such KR crystals with the same maximal weight, after removing certain $0$-arrows, the two connected components containing the minimal/maximal elements are isomorphic. Based on the latter fact, we reduce a tensor product of higher level perfect KR crystals to one of single-column KR cry…
In this paper, we study a tensor product of perfect Kirillov-Reshetikhin crystals (KR crystals for short) whose levels are not necessarily equal. We show that, by tensoring with a certain highest weight element, such a crystal becomes isomorphic as a full subgraph to a certain disjoint union of Demazure crystals contained in a tensor product of highest weight crystals. Moreover, we show that this isomorphism preserves their gradings, where the grading on the tensor product of KR crystals is given by the energy function, and that on the other side is given by the minus of the action of the degr…
We consider the crystal structure of the level zero extremal weight modules $V(λ)$ using the crystal base of the quantum affine algebra constructed by Beck, Chari and Pressley. This approach yields an explicit form for the U^- extremal weight vectors in each connected component of the crystal of $V(λ)$, which are given as Schur functions in the imaginary root vectors. We use this fact to demonstrate Kashiwara's conjectures regarding the crystal structure of $V(λ)$.
Using combinatorics of Young walls, we give a new realization of arbitrary level irreducible highest weight crystals $\mathcal{B}(λ)$ for quantum affine algebras of type $A_n^{(1)}$, $B_n^{(1)}$, $C_n^{(1)}$, $A_{2n-1}^{(2)}$, $A_{2n}^{(2)}$, and $D_{n+1}^{(2)}$. The irreducible highest weight crystals are realized as the affine crystals consisting of reduced proper Young walls. The notion of slices and splitting of blocks plays a crucial role in the constructions of crystal graphs.
We construct a subcrystal of the Littelmann's path crystal whose formal character coincides with that of a certain simple integrable module of level zero over the untwisted affine Lie algebra associated to sl_n. We also establish an analogue of the Littlewood-Richardson rule for the tensor product of that crystal with a highest weight crystal.
For a simply connected connected simple algebraic group $G$, a cell $B_{w_0}^-=B^-\cap U\overline{w_0}U$ is a geometric crystal with a positive structure $θ_{\textbf{i}}^-:(\mathbb{C}^{\times})^{l(w_0)}\rightarrow B_{w_0}^-$. Applying the tropicalization functor to a rational function $Φ^h_{BK}=\sum_{i\in I}Δ_{w_0Λ_i,s_iΛ_i}$ called the half decoration on $B_{w_0}^-$, one can realize the crystal $B(\infty)$ in $\mathbb{Z}^{l(w_0)}$. By computing $Φ^h_{BK}$, we get an explicit form of $B(\infty)$ in $\mathbb{Z}^{l(w_0)}$. In this paper, we give an algorithm to compute $Δ_{w_0Λ_i,s_iΛ_i}\circ θ_…
Crystal base of the level 0 part of the modified quantum affine algebra $\widetilde U_q(\widehat{sl_2})_0$ is given by path. Weyl group actions, extremal vectors and crystal structure of all irreducible components are described explicitly.
Motivated by the work of Nakayashiki on the inhomogeneous vertex models of 6-vertex type, we introduce the notion of crystals with head. We show that the tensor product of the highest weight crystal of level k and the perfect crystal of level l is isomorphic to the tensor product of the perfect crystal of level l-k and the highest weight crystal of level k.
We consider a category of $\gl_\infty$-crystals, whose objects are disjoint unions of extremal weight crystals of non-negative level with certain finite conditions on the multiplicity of connected components. We show that it is a monoidal category under tensor product of crystals and the associated Grothendieck ring is anti-isomorphic to an Ore extension of the character ring of integrable lowest weight $\gl_\infty$-modules with respect to derivations shifting the characters of fundamental modules. A Littlewood-Richardson rule of extremal weight crystals with non-negative level is described ex…
We shall give some criteria for the existence of the Peter-Weyl type decomposition for modified quantum algebra, which is motivated by the fact that modified quantum algebra has commutative two crystal structures. We shall apply the criteria to the crystal base of the level 0 part of the modified quantum affine algebra $\widetilde U_q(\widehat{sl_2})_0$ and give more precise description of Peter-Weyl type decomposition.
Let $λ= \sum_{i \in I_{0}} m_{i} \varpi_{i}$, with $m_{i} \in \mathbb{Z}_{\ge 0}$ for $i \in I_{0}$, be a level-zero dominant integral weight for an affine Lie algebra $\mathfrak{g}$ over $\mathbb{Q}$, where the $\varpi_{i}$, $i \in I_{0}$, are the level-zero fundamental weights, and let $\mathbb{B}(λ)$ be the crystal of all Lakshmibai-Seshadri paths of shape $λ$. First, we give an explicit description of the decomposition of the crystal $\mathbb{B}(λ)$ into a disjoint union of connected components, and show that all the connected components are pairwise ``isomorphic'' (up to a shift of weight…
We give a new realization of arbitrary level perfect crystals and arbitrary level irreducible highest weight crystals of type $D_n^{(1)}$, in the language of Young walls. The notions of splitting of blocks and slices play crucial roles in the construction of crystals. The perfect crystals are realized as the set of equivalence classes of slices. And the irreducible highest weight crystals are realized as the affine crystals consisting of reduced proper Young walls which, in turn, are concatenations of slices.
We compute $t$--analogs of $q$--characters of all $l$--fundamental representations of the quantum affine algebras of type $E_6^{(1)}$, $E_7^{(1)}$, $E_8^{(1)}$ by a supercomputer. In particular, we prove the fermionic formula for Kirillov-Reshetikhin modules conjectured by Hatayama et al. (math.QA/9812022) for these classes of representations. We also give explicitly the monomial realization of the crystal of the corresponding fundamental representations of the qunatum enveloping algebras associated with finite dimensional Lie algebras of types $E_6$, $E_7$, $E_8$. These are computations of Be…
