The aim of the paper is to study modules for the twisted Heisenberg-Virasoro algebra $\mathcal H$ at level zero as modules for the $W(2,2)$-algebra by using construction from [J. Pure Appl. Algebra 219 (2015), 4322-4342, arXiv:1405.1707]. We prove that the irreducible highest weight ${\mathcal H}$-module is irreducible as $W(2,2)$-module if and only if it has a typical highest weight. We present a bilocal isomorphism between the algebra generated by a single real twisted boson field and the algebra of the boson $βγ$ ghost system. As a consequence of this twisted vertex algebra isomorphism we show that each of these two algebras possesses both an untwisted and a twisted Heisenberg bosonic currents, as well as three separate families of Virasoro fields. We show that this bilocal isomorphism generalizes to an isomorphism between the algebra generated by the twisted boson field with $2n$ points of localization and the algebra of the $2n$ symplectic bosons.
