We study integrals of completely integrable quantum systems associated with classical root systems. We review integrals of the systems invariant under the corresponding Weyl group and as their limits we construct enough integrals of the non-invariant systems, which include systems whose complete integrability will be first established in this paper. We also present a conjecture claiming that the quantum systems with enough integrals given in this note coincide with the systems that have the integrals with constant principal symbols corresponding to the homogeneous generators of the $B_n$-invariants. We review conditions supporting the conjecture and give a new condition assuring it.
The purpose of this article is to show that a $\mathcal{C}^1$ differential system on $\R^n$ which admits a set of $n-1$ independent $\mathcal{C}^2$ conservation laws defined on an open subset $Ω\subseteq \R^n$, is essentially $\mathcal{C}^1$ equivalent on an open and dense subset of $Ω$, with the linear differential system $u^\prime_1=u_1, \ u^\prime_2=u_2,..., \ u^\prime_n=u_n$. The main results are illustrated in the case of two concrete dynamical systems, namely the three dimensional Lotka-Volterra system, and respectively the Euler equations from the free rigid body dynamics.
Finding out root patterns of quantum integrable models is an important step to study their physical properties in the thermodynamic limit. Especially for models without $U(1)$ symmetry, their spectra are usually given by inhomogeneous $T-Q$ relations and the Bethe root patterns are still unclear. In this paper with the antiperiodic $XXZ$ spin chain as an example, an analytic method to derive both the Bethe root patterns and the transfer-matrix root patterns in the thermodynamic limit is proposed. Based on them the ground state energy and elementary excitations in the gapped regime are derived.…
In this short note we discuss a new formula for solving the nonlocal $\overline{\partial}$-problem, and discuss application to the Manakov--Zakharov dressing method. We then explicitly apply this formula to solving the complex (2+1)D Kadomtsev--Petviashvili equation and complex (2+1)D completely integrable generalization of the (2+1)D Kaup--Broer (or Kaup--Boussinesq) system. We will also discuss how real (1+1)D solutions are expressed using this formalism. It is simple to express the formalism for finite gap primitive solutions from [10], [8] using the formalism of this note. We also discuss …
We investigate special solutions to the Bethe Ansatz equations (BAE) for open integrable $XXZ$ Heisenberg spin chains containing phantom (infinite) Bethe roots. The phantom Bethe roots do not contribute to the energy of the Bethe state, so the energy is determined exclusively by the remaining regular excitations. We rederive the phantom Bethe roots criterion and focus on BAE solutions for mixtures of phantom roots and regular (finite) Bethe roots. We prove that in the presence of phantom Bethe roots, all eigenstates are split between two invariant subspaces, spanned by chiral shock states. Bet…
We demonstrate the existence of special phantom excitations for open and periodically closed integrable systems at the example of the $XXZ$ Heisenberg spin chain. The phantom excitations do not contribute to the energy of the Bethe state and correspond to special solutions to the Bethe Ansatz equations with infinite "phantom" Bethe roots. The phantom Bethe roots lead to degeneracies between different magnetization sectors in the periodic case and to the appearance of spin helix states (SHS), i.e. periodically modulated states of chiral nature in both open and closed systems. For the periodic c…
The exact elementary excitations in a typical U(1) symmetry broken quantum integrable system, that is the twisted J1-J2 spin chain with nearest-neighbor, next nearest neighbor and chiral three spin interactions, are studied. The main technique is that we quantify the energy spectrum of the system by the zero roots of transfer matrix instead of the traditional Bethe roots. From the numerical calculation and singularity analysis, we obtain the patterns of zero roots. Based on them, we analytically obtain the ground state energy and the elementary excitations in the thermodynamic limit. We find t…
