In this paper, we present some basic properties concerning the quasi-derivation algebra $QDer(\mathcal{A})$ and the quasi-centroid algebra $QC(\mathcal{A})$ of associative algebra $\mathcal{A}$. Furthermore, using the result on classification of two, three and four dimensional associative algebra, we compute, for all two, three and four dimensional associative algebras, quasi-derivation algebra $QDer(\mathcal{A})$
and the quasi-centroid algebra $QC(\mathcal{A})$ algebras and give their corresponding dimension.
In this paper, we give some construction about ternary Jordan algebras at first. Next we study relationships between generalized derivations, quasiderivations and centroids of ternary Jordan algebras. We show that for ternary Jordan algebras, generalized derivation algebras are the sum of quasiderivation algebras and centroids where centroids are ideals of generalized derivation algebras. We also prove that quasiderivations can be embedded into larger ternary Jordan algebras as derivations. In particular, we also determine dimensions of ternary Jordan algebras in the case of all linear transfo…
In this paper, we investigate the derivations in evolution algebras that are power-associative. This problem is reduced to that of power-associative evolution nilalgebras. We show how to calculate derivations in decomposable algebras. This caculation shows that it is enough to describe derivations in indecomposable evolution algebras. We first determine the derivation algebra of $n$-dimensional indecomposable associative evolution nilalgebras with one-dimensional annihilator. We describe the derivation algebra of indecomposable nilalgebras, up to dimension $6$, that are associative or not. In …
We study some properties on $\mathsf{Lie}$-centroids related to central $\mathsf{Lie}$-derivations, generalized $\mathsf{Lie}$-derivations and almost inner $\mathsf{Lie}$-derivations. We also determine the $\mathsf{Lie}$-centroid of the tensor product of a commutative associative algebra and a Leibniz algebra.
Let $K$ be a 2-torsion free ring with identity. We give a description of the Lie derivations of $R=R_{n}(K,J)=NT_{n}(K)+M_{n}(J)$, the ring of all $n\times n$ matrices over $K$ such that the entries on and above the main diagonal are elements of an ideal $J$ of $K$.
In this paper, we introduce the notion Lie-derivation. This concept generalizes derivations for non-Lie Leibniz algebras. We study these Lie-derivations in the case where their image is contained in the Lie-center, call them Lie-central derivations. We provide a characterization of Lie-stem Leibniz algebras by their Lie-central derivations, and prove several properties of the Lie algebra of Lie-central derivations for Lie-nilpotent Leibniz algebras of class 2. We also introduce ${\sf ID}_*-Lie$-derivations. A ${\sf ID}_*-Lie$-derivation of a Leibniz algebra G is a Lie-derivation of G in which …

The notion of derivation with invertible values as a derivation of ring with unity that only takes multiplicatively invertible or zero values appeared in a paper of Bergen, Herstein and Lanski, in which they determined the structure of associative rings that admit derivations with invertible values. Later, the results of this paper were generalized in many cases, for example, for generalized derivations, associative super-algebras, alternative algebras and many others. The present work is dedicated to description of all Jordan algebras admitting derivations with invertible values.
Several recent results concerning Hom-Leibniz algebra are reviewed, the notion of symmetric Hom-Leibniz superalgebra is introduced and some properties are obtained. Classification of 2-dimensional Hom-Leibniz algebras is provided. Centroids and derivations of multiplicative Hom-Leibniz algebras are considered including the detailed study of 2-dimensional Hom-Leibniz algebras.
The main goal of this paper is to introduce the notion of $3$-L-dendriform algebras which are the dendriform version of $3$-pre-Lie algebras. In fact they are the algebraic structures behind the $\mathcal{O}$-operator of $3$-pre-Lie algebras. They can be also regarded as the ternary analogous of L-dendriform algebras. Moreover, we study the generalized derivations of $3$-L-dendriform algebras. Finally, we explore the spaces of quasi-derivations, the centroids and the quasi-centroids and give some properties.
We prove analogs of A.~Selberg's result for finitely generated subgroups of $\text{Aut}(A)$ and of Engel's theorem for subalgebras of $\text{Der}(A)$ for a finitely generated associative commutative algebra $A$ over an associative commutative ring. We prove also an analog of the theorem of W.~Burnside and I.~Schur about locally finiteness of torsion subgroups of $\text{Aut}(A)$.
In the present paper we prove that every additive (not necessarily homogenous) local inner derivation on the algebra of matrices over an arbitrary field is an inner derivation, and every local inner derivation on the ring of matrices over a finite ring generated by the identity element or the ring of integers is an inner derivation. We also prove that every additive local inner derivation on the Jordan algebra of symmetric matrices over an arbitrary field is a derivation, and every local inner derivation on the Jordan ring of symmetric matrices over a finite ring generated by the identity elem…
The purpose of this paper is to study the structure and the algebraic varieties of Hom-associative algebras. We give characterize multiplicative simple Hom-associative algebras and show some examples deforming the $2\times 2$-matrix algebra to simple Hom-associative algebras. We provide a classification of $n$-dimensional Hom-associative algebras for $n\leq3$. Then study their derivations and compute small Hom-Type Hochschild cohomology groups. Furthermore, we discuss their irreducible components.
The aim of this paper is to introduce and study BiHom-associative dialgebras. We give various constructions and study its connections with BiHom-Poisson dialgebras and BiHom-Leibniz algebras. Next we discuss the central extensions of BiHom-diassociative and we describe the classification of n-dimensional BiHom-diassociative algebras for n less or equal to 4. Finally, we discuss derivations of BiHom-associative dialgebras.
In this paper, we give some properties of generalized derivation algebras of Hom-Jordan algebras. In particular, we show that $GDer(V) = QDer(V) + QC(V)$, the sum of the quasiderivation algebra and the quasicentroid. We also prove that $QDer(V)$ can be embedded as derivations into a larger Hom-Jordan algebra. General results on centroids of Hom-Jordan algebras are also developed in this paper.
In this paper, we generalize the results about generalized derivations of Lie algebras to the case of BiHom-Lie algebras. In particular we give the classification of generalized derivations of Heisenberg BiHom-Lie algebras. The definition of the generalized derivation depends on some parameters $ (λ,μ,γ)\in \mathbb{C}^{3}. $ In particular for $(λ,μ,γ)=(1,1,1)$, we obtain classical concept of derivation of BiHom-Lie algebra and for $(λ,μ,γ)=(1,1,0) $ we obtain the centroid of BiHom-Lie algebra. We give classifications of $ 2 $-dimensional BiHom-Lie algebra, centroides and derivations of $ 2 $-d…
We introduce the first hom-associative Weyl algebras over a field of prime characteristic as a generalization of the first associative Weyl algebra in prime characteristic. First, we study properties of hom-associative algebras constructed from associative algebras by a general "twisting" procedure. Then, with the help of these results, we determine the commuter, center, nuclei, and set of derivations of the first hom-associative Weyl algebras. We also classify them up to isomorphism, and show, among other things, that all nonzero endomorphisms on them are injective, but not surjective. Last, …
Let R[G] be the group ring of a group G over an associative ring R with unity such that all prime divisors of orders of elements of G are invertible in R. If R is finite and G is a Chernikov (torsion FC-) group, then each R-derivation of R[G] is inner. Similar results also are obtained for other classes of groups G and rings R.
We associate an square to any two dimensional evolution algebra. This geometric object is uniquely determined, does not depend on the basis and describes the structure and the behaviour of the algebra. We determine the identities of degrees at most four, as well as derivations and automorphisms. We look at the group of automorphisms as an algebraic group, getting in this form a new algebraic invariant. The study of associative representations of evolution algebras is also started and we get faithful representations for most two-dimensional evolution algebras. In some cases we prove that faithf…
The first (associative) Weyl algebra is formally rigid in the classical sense. In this paper, we show that it can however be formally deformed in a nontrivial way when considered as a so-called hom-associative algebra, and that this deformation preserves properties such as the commuter, while deforming others, such as the center, power associativity, the set of derivations, and some commutation relations. We then show that this deformation induces a formal deformation of the corresponding Lie algebra into what is known as a hom-Lie algebra, when using the commutator as bracket. We also prove t…
In commutative algebra, if $δ$ is a locally nilpotent derivation of the polynomial algebra $K[x_1,\ldots,x_d]$ over a field $K$ of characteristic 0 and $w$ is a nonzero element of the kernel of $δ$, then $Δ=wδ$ is also a locally nilpotent derivation with the same kernel as $δ$. In this paper we prove that the locally nilpotent derivation $Δ$ of the free associative algebra $K\langle X,Y\rangle$ is determined up to a multiplicative constant by its kernel. We show also that the kernel of $Δ$ is a free associative algebra and give an explicit set of its free generators.
We study $δ$-derivations -- a construction simultaneously generalizing derivations and centroid. First, we compute $δ$-derivations of current Lie algebras and of modular Zassenhaus algebra. This enables us to provide examples of Lie algebras having 1/2-derivations which are divisors of zero, thus answering negatively a question of Filippov. Second, we note that $δ$-derivations allow, in some circumstances, to construct examples of non-semigroup gradings of Lie algebras, in addition to the recent ones discovered by Elduque. Third, we note that utilizing the construction of the Grassmann envelop…
