In this paper quantitative weighted matrix estimates for vector valued extensions of $L^{r'}$-Hörmander operators and rough singular integrals are studied. Strong type $(p,p)$ estimates, endpoint estimates, and some new results on Coifman-Fefferman estimates assuming $A_\infty$ and $C_p$ condition counterparts are provided. To prove the aforementioned estimates we rely upon some suitable convex body domination results that we settle as well in this paper.
We establish a quantitative weighted inequality for the bilinear rough singular integral, where the bound is controlled by the cube of the weight constant.
In this paper, we will study the boundedness properties of multilinear Calderon--Zygmund operators and multilinear fractional integrals on products of weighted Morrey spaces with multiple weights.
Quantitative weighted estimates are obtained for the Littlewood-Paley square function $S$ associated with a lacunary decomposition of ${\mathbb R}$ and for the Marcinkiewicz multiplier operator. In particular, we find the sharp dependence on $[w]_{A_p}$ for the $L^p(w)$ operator norm of $S$ for $1<p\le 2$.
We prove genuinely multilinear weighted estimates for singular integrals in product spaces. The estimates complete the qualitative weighted theory in this setting. Such estimates were previously known only in the one-parameter situation. Extrapolation gives powerful applications -- for example, a free access to mixed-norm estimates in the full range of exponents.
This paper gives the pointwise sparse dominations for variation operators of singular integrals and commutators with kernels satisfying the $L^r$-Hörmander conditions. As applications, we obtain the strong type quantitative weighted bounds for such variation operators as well as the weak-type quantitative weighted bounds for the variation operators of singular integrals and the quantitative weighted weak-type endpoint estimates for variation operators of commutators, which are completely new even in the unweighted case. In addition, we also obtain the local exponential decay estimates for such…
In this paper we provide some quantitative one-sided estimates that recover the dependences in the classical setting. Among them we provide estimates for the one-sided maximal function in Lorentz spaces and we show that the conjugation method for commutators works as well in this setting.
We show that the $L^2(w)$ operator norm of the composition $M\!\circ T_Ω$, where $M$ is the maximal operator and $T_Ω$ is a rough homogeneous singular integral with angular part $Ω\in L^{\infty}(S^{n-1})$, depends quadratically on $[w]_{A_2}$, and this dependence is sharp.
Let $T$ be a singular integral operator with non-smooth kernel which were introduced by Duong and McIntosh. In this paper, we prove that this operator and its corresponding grand maximal operator satisfies certain weak type endpoint vector-valued estimate of $L\log L$ type. As an application we established a refined weighted vector-valued bound for this operator.
Let $T_Ω$ be the singular integral operator with variable kernel $Ω(x,z)$. In this paper, by using the atomic decomposition theory of weighted weak Hardy spaces, we will obtain the boundedness properties of $T_Ω$ on these spaces, under some Dini type conditions imposed on the variable kernel $Ω(x,z)$.
Let $L=-Δ+V$ with non-negative potential $V$ satisfying some appropriate reverse Hölder inequality. In this paper, we study the boundedness of the commutators of some singular integrals associated to $L$ such as Riesz transforms and fractional integrals with the new BMO functions introduced in \cite{BHS1} on the weighted spaces $L^p(w)$ where $w$ belongs to the new classes of weights introduced by \cite{BHS2}.
In this paper we obtain quantitative weighted $L^p$-inequalities for some operators involving Bessel convolutions. We consider maximal operators, Littlewood-Paley functions and variational operators. We obtain $L^p(w)$-operator norms in terms of the $A_p$-characteristic of the weight $w$. In order to do this we show that the operators under consideration are dominated by a suitable family of sparse operators in the space of homogeneous type $((0,\infty),|\cdot |,x^{2λ}dx)$.
This paper concerns an analytic and numerical analysis of a class of weighted singular Cauchy integrals with exponential weights $w:=\exp(-Q)$ with finite moments and with smooth external fields $Q:\mathbb R\to [0,\infty)$, with varying smooth convex rate of increase for large argument. Our analysis relies in part on weighted polynomial interpolation at the zeros of orthonormal polynomials with respect to $w^2$. We also study bounds for the first derivatives of a class of functions of the second kind for $w^2$.
We consider weighted $L^p(w)$ boundedness ($1<p<\infty $ and $w$ a Muckenhoupt $A_p$ weight) of the Calderón commutator $\mathcal C_Ω$ associated with rough homogeneous kernel, under the condition $Ω\in L^q(\mathbb S^{n-1})$ for $q_0<q\leq\infty$ with $q_0$ a fixed constant depending on $w$. Comparing to the previous related known results (assuming $Ω\in L^\infty(\mathbb S^{n-1})$), our result for $Ω\in L^q(\mathbb S^{n-1})$ with $q$ in the range $(q_0,\infty)$ is new. We also obtain a quantitative weighted bound for this $\mathcal C_Ω$ on $L^p(w)$, which is the best known quantitative result …
We show that the Hilbert transform does not map $L^1(M_Φw)$ to $L^{1,\infty}(w)$ for every Young function $Φ$ growing more slowly than $t\log\log ({\rm e}^{\rm e}+t)$. Our proof is based on a construction of M.C. Reguera and C. Thiele.
Let $r>\frac{4}{3}$ and let $Ω\in L^{r}(\mathbb{S}^{2n-1})$ have vanishing integral. We show that the bilinear rough singular integral $$T_Ω(f,g)(x)= \textrm{p.v.} \int_{\mathbb{R}^n}\int_{\mathbb{R}^n}\frac{Ω((y,z)/|(y,z)|)}{|(y,z)|^{2n}}f(x-y)g(x-z)\,dydz,$$ satisfies a sparse bound by $(p,p,p)$-averages, where $p$ is bigger than a certain number explicitly related to $r$ and $n$. As a consequence we deduce certain quantitative weighted estimates for bilinear homogeneous singular integrals associated with rough homogeneous kernels.
Quantitative versions of weighted estimates obtained by F. Ruiz and J.L. Torrea in the 80's for the operator \[ \mathcal{M}f(x,t)=\sup_{x\in Q,\,l(Q)\geq t}\frac{1}{|Q|}\int_{Q}|f(x)|dx \qquad x\in\mathbb{R}^{n}, \, t \geq0 \] are obtained. As a consequence, some sufficient conditions for the boundedness of $\mathcal{M}$ in the two weight setting in the spirit of the results obtained by C. Pérez and E. Rela and very recently by M.T. Lacey and S. Spencer for the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator are derived. As a byproduct some new quantitative estimates for the Poisson integral are obtained.
In this paper we prove two-weighted norm estimates for higher order commutator of singular integral and fractional type operators between weighted $L^p$ and certain spaces that include Lipschitz, BMO and Morrey spaces. We also give the optimal parameters involved with these results, where the optimality is understood in the sense that the parameters defining the corresponding spaces belong to certain region out of which the classes of weights are satisfied by trivial weights. We also exhibit pairs of non-trivial weights in the optimal region satisfying the conditions required.
A local median decomposition is used to prove that a weighted local mean of a function is controlled by a weighted local mean of its local sharp maximal function. Together with (a local version of) the estimate $M^{\sharp}_{0,s}(Tf)(x) \le c\,Mf(x)$ for Calderón-Zygmund singular integral operators, this allows us to express the local weighted integral control of $Tf$ by $Mf$. Similar estimates hold for $T$ replaced by singular integrals with kernels satisfying Hörmander-type conditions or integral operators with homogeneous kernels, and $M$ replaced by an appropriate maximal function $M_T$. Us…
We consider homogeneous singular kernels, whose angular part is bounded, but need not have any continuity. For the norm of the corresponding singular integral operators on the weighted space $L^2(w)$, we obtain a bound that is quadratic in the $A_2$ constant $[w]_{A_2}$. We do not know if this is sharp, but it is the best known quantitative result for this class of operators. The proof relies on a classical decomposition of these operators into smooth pieces, for which we use a quantitative elaboration of Lacey's dyadic decomposition of Dini-continuous operators: the dependence of constants on…
In this paper, we investigate the behavior of the bounds of the composition for rough singular integral operators on the weighted space. More precisely, we obtain the quantitative weighted bounds of the composite operator for two singular integral operators with rough homogeneous kernels on $L^p(\mathbb{R}^d,\,w)$, $p\in (1,\,\infty)$, which is smaller than the product of the quantitative weighted bounds for these two rough singular integral operators. Moreover, at the endpoint $p=1$, the $L\log L$ weighted weak type bound is also obtained, which has interests of its own in the theory of rough…
In this paper, we investigate the weighted vector-valued bounds for a class of multilinear singular integral operators, and its commutators, from $L^{p_1}(l^{q_1};\,\mathbb{R}^n,w_1)\times\dots\times L^{p_m}(l^{q_m};\,\mathbb{R}^n,w_m)$ to $L^{p}(l^q;\,\mathbb{R}^n,ν_{\vec{w}})$, with $p_1,\dots,p_m\in (1,\,\infty)$ and $1/p=1/p_1+\dots+1/p_m$ and $\vec{w}$ is a multiple $A_{\vec{P}}$ weights. Our argument also leads to the weighted weak type endpoint estimates for the commutators.
We improve on several mixed weak type inequalities both for the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function and for Calderón-Zygmund operators. These type of inequalities were considered by Muckenhoupt and Wheeden and later on by Sawyer estimating the $L^{1, \infty}(uv)$ norm of $v^{-1}T(fv)$ for special cases. The emphasis is made in proving new and more precise quantitative estimates involving the $A_p$ or $A_\infty$ constants of the weights involved.
We consider the Rubio de Francia's Littlewood--Paley square function associated with an arbitrary family of intervals in $\mathbb{R}$ with finite overlapping. Quantitative weighted estimates are obtained for this operator. The linear dependence on the characteristic of the weight $[w]_{A_{p/2}}$ turns out to be sharp for $3\le p<\infty$, whereas the sharpness in the range $2<p<3$ remains as an open question. Weighted weak-type estimates in the endpoint $p=2$ are also provided. The results arise as a consequence of a sparse domination shown for these operators, obtained by suitably adapting the…
We prove weighted strong $q$-variation inequalities with $2<q<\infty$ for differential and singular integral operators. For the first family of operators the weights used can be either Sawyer's one-sided $A^+_p$ weights or Muckenhoupt's $A_p$ weights according to that the differential operators in consideration are one-sided or symmetric. We use only Muckenhoupt's $A_p$ weights for the second family. All these inequalities hold equally in the vector-valued case, that is, for functions with values in $\el^ρ$ for $1<ρ<\infty$. As application, we show variation inequalities for mean bounded posit…
Any Calderon-Zygmund operator T is pointwise dominated by a convergent sum of positive dyadic operators. We give an elementary self-contained proof of this fact, which is simpler than the probabilistic arguments used for all previous results in this direction. Our argument also applies to the q-variation of certain Calderon-Zygmund operators, a stronger nonlinearity than the maximal truncations. As an application, we obtain new sharp weighted inequalities.
We prove sharp $L^p(w)$ norm inequalities for the intrinsic square function (introduced recently by M. Wilson) in terms of the $A_p$ characteristic of $w$ for all $1<p<\infty$. This implies the same sharp inequalities for the classical Lusin area integral $S(f)$, the Littlewood-Paley $g$-function, and their continuous analogs $S_ψ$ and $g_ψ$. Also, as a corollary, we obtain sharp weighted inequalities for any convolution Calderón-Zygmund operator for all $1<p\le 3/2$ and $3\le p<\infty$, and for its maximal truncations for $3\le p<\infty$.
We prove weighted $q$-variation inequalities with $2<q<\infty$ for differential and singular integral operators in higher dimensions. The vector-valued extensions of these inequalities are also given.
In this paper, the weighted Lp boundedness of multilinear commutators and iterated commutators of multilinear singular integral operators with generalized kernels is established, where the weight is multiple weight. Our results are generalizations of the corresponding results for multilinear singular integral operators with standard kernels and Dini kernels.
We prove weighted estimates for rough bilinear singular integral operators with kernel $$K(y_1, y_2) = \frac{Ω((y_1,y_2)/|(y_1,y_2)|)}{|(y_1, y_2)|^{2d}},$$ where $y_i \in \mathbb{R}^{d}$ and $Ω\in L^{\infty}(S^{2d-1})$ with $\int_{S^{2d-1}}Ωdσ= 0.$ The argument is by sparse domination of rough bilinear operators, via an abstract theorem that is a multilinear generalization of recent work by Conde-Alonso, Culiuc, Di Plinio and Ou. We also use recent results due to Grafakos, He, and Honz\'ık for the application to rough bilinear operators. In particular, since the weighted estimates are proved …
Let $(X, d, μ)$ be a space of homogeneous type, i.e. the measure $μ$ satisfies doubling (volume) property with respect to the balls defined by the metric $d$. Let $L$ be a non-negative self-adjoint operator on $L^2(X)$. Assume that the semigroup of $L$ satisfies the Davies-Gaffney estimates. In this paper, we study the weighted Hardy spaces $H^p_{L,w}(X)$, $0 < p \le 1$, associated to the operator $L$ on the space $X$. We establish the atomic and the molecular characterizations of elements in $H^p_{L,w}(X)$. As applications, we obtain the boundedness on $\HL$ for the generalized Riesz transfor…
In this paper we provide weighted estimates for rough operators, including rough homogeneous singular integrals $T_Ω$ with $Ω\in L^\infty(\mathbb{S}^{n-1})$ and the Bochner-Riesz multiplier at the critical index $B_{(n-1)/2}$. More precisely, we prove qualitative and quantitative versions of Coifman-Fefferman type inequalities and their vector-valued extensions, weighted $A_p-A_\infty$ strong and weak type inequalities for $1<p<\infty$, and $A_1-A_\infty$ type weak $(1,1)$ estimates. Moreover, Fefferman-Stein type inequalities are obtained, proving in this way a conjecture raised by the second…
We consider a conjecture attributed to Muckenhoupt and Wheeden which suggests a positive relationship between the continuity of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and the Hilbert transform in the weighted setting. Although continuity of the two operators is equivalent for $A_p$ weights with $1 < p < \infty$, through examples we illustrate this is not the case in more general contexts. In particular, we study weights for which the maximal operator is bounded on the corresponding $L^p$ spaces while the Hilbert transform is not. We focus on weights which take the value zero on sets of non-zero…
We prove weighted estimates for singular integral operators which operate on function spaces on a half-line. The class of admissible weights includes Muckenhoupt weights and weights satisfying Sawyer's one-sided conditions. The kernels of the operators satisfy relaxed Dini conditions. We apply the weighted estimates to extrapolation of maximal $L^p$ regularity of first order, second order and fractional order Cauchy problems into weighted rearrangement invariant Banach function spaces. In particular, we provide extensions, as well as a unification of recent results due to Auscher and Axelsson,…
Let $p:\R\to(1,\infty)$ be a globally log-Hölder continuous variable exponent and $w:\R\to[0,\infty]$ be a weight. We prove that the Cauchy singular integral operator $S$ is bounded on the weighted variable Lebesgue space $L^{p(\cdot)}(\R,w)=\{f:fw\in L^{p(\cdot)}(\R)\}$ if and only if the weight $w$ satisfies \[ \sup_{-\infty<a<b<\infty} \frac{1}{b-a}\|wχ_{(a,b)}\|_{p(\cdot)}\|w^{-1}χ_{(a,b)}\|_{p'(\cdot)}<\infty \quad (1/p(x)+1/p'(x)=1). \]
Let $L:=-Δ+V$ be the Schrödinger operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$ with $n\geq 3$, where $V$ is a non-negative potential which belongs to certain reverse Hölder class $RH_q(\mathbb{R}^n)$ with $q\in (n/2,\,\infty)$. In this article, the authors obtain the quantitative weighted boundedness of Littlewood--Paley functions $g_L$, $S_L$ and $g_{L,\,λ}^\ast$, associated to $L$, on weighted Lebesgue spaces $L^p(w)$, where $w$ belongs to the class of Muckenhoupt $A_p$ weights adapted to $L$.
