Our present investigation is mainly based on the $k$-hypergeometric functions which are constructed by making use of the Pochhammer $k$-symbol \cite{Diaz} which are one of the vital generalization of hypergeometric functions. We introduce $k$-analogues of $F_{2}\ $and $F_{3}$ Appell functions denoted by the symbols $F_{2,k}\ $and $F_{3,k}\ $respectively, just like Mubeen et al. did for $F_{1}$ in 2015 \cite{Mubeen6}. Meanwhile, we prove some main properties namely integral representations, transformation formulas and some reduction formulas which help us to have relations between not only $k$-Appell functions but also $k$-hypergeometric functions. Finally, employing the theory of Riemann Liouville $k$-fractional derivative \cite{Rahman} and using the relations which we consider in this paper, we acquire linear and bilinear generating relations for $k$-analogue of hypergeometric functions and Appell functions.
In this paper we introduce another finite field analogue for Appell series F_{1} and obtain certain reduction formulae and a generating function for this analogue.
A new $q$-analogue of Appell polynomial sequences and their generalizations are introduced and their main characterizations are proved. As consequences new $q$-analogue of Bernoulli and Euler polynomials and numbers is introduced, their main representations are given.
In this paper we introduce a finite field analogue for the Appell series F_3 and give some reduction formulae and certain generating functions for this function over finite fields.
This paper is an edited and shortened version of Chapter 6 from the thesis of the author. First the one dimensional orthogonal derivative will be extended to the two-dimensional case. In the two-dimensional case we have to define the region of integration. In this paper we treat the integration over the square region and over the triangle region where in the last case we use biorthogonal polynomials expressed in terms of Appell functions. Next the two-dimensional orthogonal derivative will be extended to the two-dimensional fractional orthogonal derivative. The results are highly dependent on …
The aim of this paper is to apply generalized operators of fractional integration and differentiation involving Appells function due to Marichev-Saigo-Maeda, to the generalized Struve function. The results are expressed in terms of generalized Wright function. The results obtained here are general in nature and can easily obtain various known results.
The aim of this paper is to apply generalized operators of fractional integration and differentiation involving Appell's function $F_{3}(:)$ due to Marichev-Saigo-Maeda (MSM), to the Jacobi type orthogonal polynomials. The results are expressed in terms of generalized hypergeometric function. Some of the interesting special cases of the main results also established.
Two integral operator involving the Appell's functions, or Horn's function in the kernel are considered. Composition of such functions with generalized Bessel functions of the first kind are expressed in term of generalized Wright function and generalized hypergeometric series. Many special cases, including cosine and sine function are also discussed.
The main aim of this present paper is to present a new extension of the fractional derivative operator by using the extension of Beta function recently defined by Shadab et al.[19]. Moreover, we establish some results related to the newly defined modified fractional derivative operator such as Mellin transform and relations to extended hypergeometric and Appell's function via generating functions.
In this paper, we aim to present new extensions of incomplete gamma, beta, Gauss hypergeometric, confluent hypergeometric function and Appell-Lauricella hypergeometric functions, by using the extended Bessel function due to Boudjelkha [4]. Some recurrence relations, transformation formulas, Mellin transform and integral representations are obtained for these generalizations. Further, an extension of the Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative operator is established.
We consider the integral and derivative operators of tempered fractional calculus, and examine their analytic properties. We discover connections with the classical Riemann-Liouville fractional calculus and demonstrate how the operators may be used to obtain special functions such as hypergeometric and Appell's functions. We also prove an analogue of Taylor's theorem and some integral inequalities to enrich the mathematical theory of tempered fractional calculus.
In this paper, the incomplete Pochhammer ratios are defined in terms of the incomplete beta function $B_{y}(x,z)$. With the help of these incomplete Pochhammer ratios, we introduce new incomplete Gauss, confluent hypergeometric and Appell's functions and investigate several properties of them such as integral representations, derivative formulas, transformation formulas, and recurrence relation. Furthermore, an incomplete Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative operators are introduced. This definition helps us to obtain linear and bilinear generating relations for the new incomplete Gauss hyp…
The effect of Marichev-Saigo-Maeda (MSM) fractional operators involving third Appell function on the $I$ function is studied. It is shown that the order of the $I$-function increases on application of these operators to the power multiple of the $I$-function. The Caputo-type MSM fractional derivatives are introduced and studied for the $I$-function. As special cases, the corresponding assertions for Saigo and Erdélyi-Kober fractional operators are also presented. The results obtained in this paper generalize several known results obtained recently in the literature.
In this paper, the generalized fractional operators involving Appell's function $F_3$ in the kernel due to Marichev-Saigo-Maeda are applied to the generalized $K$-Wright function. These fractional operators when applied to power multipliers of the generalized $K$-Wright function ${}_{p}Ψ^k_q$ yields a higher ordered generalized $K$-Wright function, namely, ${}_{p+3}Ψ^k_{q+3}$. The Caputo-type modification of Marichev-Saigo-Maeda fractional differentiation is introduced and the corresponding assertions for Saigo and Erdélyi-Kober fractional operators are also presented. The results derived in t…
We introduce a new family of special functions, namely $q$-Charlier multiple orthogonal polynomials. These polynomials are orthogonal with respect to $q$-analogues of Poisson distributions. We focus our attention on their structural properties. Raising and lowering operators as well as Rodrigues-type formulas are obtained. An explicit representation in terms of a $q$-analogue of the second of Appell's hypergeometric functions is given. A high-order linear $q$-difference equation with polynomial coefficients is deduced. Moreover, we show how to obtain the nearest neighbor recurrence relation fr…
The generalized operators of fractional integration involving Appell's function $F_{3}(.) $ due to Marichev-Saigo-Maeda, is applied to the Bessel Struve kernel function $S_{α}\left( λz\right),λ,z\in \mathbb{C}$ to obtain the results in terms of generalized Wright functions. The pathway integral representations Bessel Struve kernel function and its relation between many other functions also derived in this study.
In this article, we utilize \emph{q}--fractional Caputo initial value problems of order $0<α\leq 1$ to derive a \emph{q}--analogue for Gronwall--type inequality. Some particular cases are derived where \emph{q}--Mittag--Leffler functions and \emph{q}--exponential type functions are used. An example is given to illustrate the validity of the derived inequality.
We set the main concepts for multiplicative fractional calculus. We define Caputo, Riemann and Letnikov multiplicative fractional derivatives and multiplicative fractional integrals and study some of their properties. Finally, the multiplicative analogue of the local conformable fractional derivative and integral is studied.
We define an analogue of the classical Mittag-Leffler function which is applied to two variables, and establish its basic properties. Using a corresponding single-variable function with fractional powers, we define an associated fractional integral operator which has many interesting properties. The motivation for these definitions is twofold: firstly their link with some fundamental fractional differential equations involving two independent fractional orders, and secondly the fact that they emerge naturally from certain applications in bioengineering.
In this article, we introduce an analogue of Kenig and Stein's bilinear fractional integral operator on the Heisenberg group $\mathbb{H}^n$. We completely characterize exponents $α, β$ and $γ$ such that the operator is bounded from $L^{p}(\mathbb{H}^n, |x|^{αp})\times L^{q}(\mathbb{H}^n, |x|^{βq})$ to $L^{r}(\mathbb{H}^n, |x|^{-γr})$.
Many possible definitions have been proposed for fractional derivatives and integrals, starting from the classical Riemann-Liouville formula and its generalisations and modifying it by replacing the power function kernel with other kernel functions. We demonstrate, under some assumptions, how all of these modifications can be considered as special cases of a single, unifying, model of fractional calculus. We provide a fundamental connection with classical fractional calculus by writing these general fractional operators in terms of the original Riemann-Liouville fractional integral operator. W…
Starting from the Riemann-Liouville derivative, many authors have built their own notion of fractional derivative in order to avoid some classical difficulties like a non zero derivative for a constant function or a rather complicated analogue of the Leibniz relation. Discussing in full generality the existence of such operator over continuous functions, we derive some obstruction Lemma which can be used to prove the triviality of some operators as long as the linearity and the Leibniz property are preserved. As an application, we discuss some properties of the Jumarie's fractional derivative …
We consider the discrete analogue of a fractional integral operator on the Heisenberg group, for which we are able to prove nearly sharp results by means of a simple argument of a combinatorial nature.
We consider the discrete, fractional operator $\left(L_a^νx\right) (t) := \nabla [p(t) \nabla_{a^*}^νx(t)] + q(t) x(t-1)$ involving the nabla Caputo fractional difference, which can be thought of as an analogue to the self-adjoint differential operator. We show that solutions to difference equations involving this operator have expected properties, such as the form of solutions to homogeneous and nonhomogeneous equations. We also give a variation of constants formula via a Cauchy function in order to solve initial value problems involving $L_a^ν$. We also consider boundary value problems of an…
We prove some Sawyer-type characterizations for multilinear fractional maximal function for the upper triangle case. We also provide some two-weight norm estimates for this operator. As one of the main tools, we use an extension of the usual Carleson Embedding that is an analogue of the P. L. Duren extension of the Carleson Embedding for measures.
We consider an integral transform introduced by Prabhakar, involving generalised multi-parameter Mittag-Leffler functions, which can be used to introduce and investigate several different models of fractional calculus. We derive a new series expression for this transform, in terms of classical Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals, and use it to obtain or verify series formulae in various specific cases corresponding to different fractional-calculus models. We demonstrate the power of our result by applying the series formula to derive analogues of the product and chain rules in more general …
We consider discrete analogues of fractional Radon transforms involving integration over paraboloids defined by positive definite quadratic forms. We prove that such discrete operators extend to bounded operators from $\ell^p$ to $\ell^q$ for a certain family of kernels. The method involves an intricate spectral decomposition according to major and minor arcs, motivated by ideas from the circle method of Hardy and Littlewood. Techniques from harmonic analysis, in particular Fourier transform methods and oscillatory integrals, as well as the number theoretic structure of quadratic forms, expone…
