For a quiver $Q$ of Dynkin type $\mathbb{A}_n$, we give a set of $n-1$ inequalities which are necessary and sufficient for a linear stability condition (a.k.a. central charge) $Z\colon K_0(Q) \to \mathbb{C}$ to make all indecomposable representations stable. We furthermore show that these are a minimal set of inequalities defining the space $\mathcal{TS}(Q)$ of total stability conditions, considered as an open subset of $\mathbb{R}^{Q_0} \times (\mathbb{R}_{>0})^{Q_0}$. We then use these inequalities to show that each fiber of the projection of $\mathcal{TS}(Q)$ to $(\mathbb{R}_{>0})^{Q_0}$ is linearly equivalent to $\mathbb{R} \times \mathbb{R}_{>0}^{Q_1}$.
We study the category $\textrm{Rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$ of representations of a quiver $Q$ over "the field with one element", denoted by $\mathbb{F}_1$, and the Hall algebra of $\textrm{Rep}(Q,\mathbb{F}_1)$. Representations of $Q$ over $\mathbb{F}_1$ often reflect combinatorics of those over $\mathbb{F}_q$, but show some subtleties - for example, we prove that a connected quiver $Q$ is of finite representation type over $\mathbb{F}_1$ if and only if $Q$ is a tree. Then, to each representation $\mathbb{V}$ of $Q$ over $\mathbb{F}_1$ we associate a coefficient quiver $Γ_\mathbb{V}$ possessing the …
We investigate quiver representations over $\mathbb{F}_1$. Coefficient quivers are combinatorial gadgets equivalent to $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations of quivers. We focus on the case when the quiver $Q$ is a pseudotree. For such quivers, we first use the notion of coefficient quivers to provide a complete classification of asymptotic behaviors of indecomposable representations over $\mathbb{F}_1$. Then, we prove some fundamental structural results about the Lie algebras associated to pseudotrees. Finally, we construct examples of $\mathbb{F}_1$-representations $M$ of a quiver $Q$ by using cove…
We show that for a Dynkin quiver $Q$ of type $E_7$ with a specific orientation, the path algebra $KQ$ has no slope function of the form $μ=\fracθ{\dim}$ that defines a total stability condition. This gives a counterexample to a conjecture of Reineke.
We derive a geometric model for the module category $\operatorname{mod} \mathbf{k} Q$ of a Dynkin quiver $Q$ via the heart of a total stability condition on the bounded derived category of $\operatorname{mod} \mathbf{k} Q$. As an application, we prove Reineke's conjecture that there is a stability function on $\operatorname{mod} \mathbf{k} Q$ making any indecomposables stable.
We introduce two new distances for zigzag persistence modules. The first uses Auslander-Reiten quiver theory, and the second is an extension of the classical interleaving distance. Both are defined over completely general orientations of the $\mathbb{A}_n$ quiver. We compare the first distance to the block distance introduced by M. Botnan and M. Lesnick and obtain the full set of sharp Lipschitz bounds between the two (as bottleneck distances) over pure zigzag orientations. The final portion of the paper presents sharp Lipschitz bounds necessary for the extended interleaving distance to domina…
A GR-segment for an artin algebra is a sequence of Gabriel-Roiter measures, which is closed under direct predecessors and successors. The number of the GR-segments indexed by natural numbers $\mathbb{N}$ and integers $\mathbb{Z}$ probably relates to the representation types of artin algebras. Let $k$ be an algebraically closed field and $Q$ be a tame quiver (of type $\widetilde{\mathbb{A}}_n$, $\widetilde{\mathbb{D}}_n$, $\widetilde{\mathbb{E}}_6$, $\widetilde{\mathbb{E}}_7$, or $\widetilde{\mathbb{E}}_8$). Let $b$ be the number of the isomorphism classes of the exceptional quasi-simple module…
Let $Q$ be an acyclic quiver, it is classical that certain truncations of the translation quiver $\mathbb Z Q$ appear in the Auslander-Reiten quiver of the path algebra $kQ$. The stable $n$-translation quiver $\mathbb Z|_{n-1} Q$ is introduced as a generalization of the $\mathbb Z Q$ construction in studying higher representation theory of algebras for an acyclic bound quiver $Q$. In this paper, we find conditions for a Hom-finite Krull-Schmidt $k$-category to be realized as the bound path category of a convex full subquiver of an stable $n$-translation quiver. We show that for $n$-slice algebr…
The authors have proved in [J. Algebra Appl. 14 (2015), no. 6] that the size of a stratifying system over a finite-dimensional hereditary path algebra $A$ is at most $n$, where $n$ is the number of isomorphism classes of simple $A$-modules. Moreover, if $A$ is of Euclidean type a stratifying system over $A$ has at most $n-2$ regular modules. In this work, we construct a family of stratifying systems of size $n$ with a maximal number of regular elements, over the hereditary path algebra with quiver $\widetilde{\mathbb {A}}_{p,q} $, canonically oriented.
We construct a special embedding of the translation quiver $\mathbb{Z}Q$ in the three-dimensional affine space $\mathbb{R}^{3}$ where $Q$ is a finite connected acyclic quiver and $\mathbb{Z}Q$ contains a local slice whose quiver is isomorphic to the opposite quiver $Q^{op}$ of $Q.$ Via this embedding, we show that there exists an involutive anti-automorphism of the translation quiver $\mathbb{Z}Q.$ As an immediate consequence, we characterize explicitly the group of cluster automorphisms of the cluster algebras of seed $(X,Q)$, where $Q$ and $Q^{op}$ are mutation equivalent.
In this paper, we study the relationship between the McKay quivers of a finite subgroups $G$ of special linear groups general linear groups, via some natural extension and embedding. We show that the McKay quiver of certain extension of a finite subgroup $G$ of $\mathrm{SL}(m,\mathbb C)$ in $\mathrm{GL}(m,\mathbb C)$ is a regular covering of the McKay quiver of $G$, and when embedding $G$ in a canonical way into $\mathrm{GL}(m-1,\mathbb C)$, the new McKay quiver is obtained by adding an arrow from the Nakayama translation of $i$ back to $i$ for each $i$. We also show that certain interesting e…
This work is the sequel to Continuous Quivers of Type A (I). In this paper we define the Auslander-Reiten space of a continuous type $A$ quiver, which generalizes the Auslander-Reiten quiver of type $A_n$ quivers. We prove that extensions, kernels, and cokernels of representations of type $A_{\mathbb R}$ can be described by lines and rectangles in a way analogous to representations of type $A_n$. We provide a similar description for distinguished triangles in the bounded derived category whose first and third terms are indecomposable. Furthermore, we provide a complete classification of Auslan…
In this paper, we investigate a connection between convolution products for quiver Hecke algebras and tensor products for quantum groups. We give a categorification of the natural projection $ π_{λ, μ} : V_{\mathbb{A}}(λ)^\vee \otimes_{\mathbb{A}} V_\mathbb{A}(μ)^\vee \twoheadrightarrow V_\mathbb{A}(λ+ μ)^\vee $ sending the tensor product of the highest weight vectors to the highest weight vector in terms of convolution products. When the quiver Hecke algebra is symmetric and the base field is of characteristic $0$, we obtain a positivity condition on some coefficients associated with the proj…
The canonical bases of cluster algebras of finite types and rank 2 are given explicitly in \cite{CK2005} and \cite{SZ} respectively. In this paper, we will deduce $\mathbb{Z}$-bases for cluster algebras for affine types $\widetilde{A}_{n,n},\widetilde{D}$ and $\widetilde{E}$. Moreover, we give an inductive formula for computing the multiplication between two generalized cluster variables associated to objects in a tube.
Let $Γ^{n}$ be the cone of an $(n-1)$-complete algebra over an algebraically closed field $k$. In this paper, we prove that if the bound quiver $(Q_{n},ρ_{n})$ of $Γ^{n}$ is a truncation from the bound McKay quiver $(Q_{G},ρ_{G})$ of a finite subgroup $G$ of $GL(n,k)$, the bound quiver $(Q_{n+1}, ρ_{n+1})$ of $Γ^{n+1}$, the cone of $Γ^{n}$, is a truncation from the bound McKay quiver $(Q_{\widetilde{G}},ρ_{\widetilde{G}})$ of $\widetilde{G}$, where $\widetilde{G}\cong G\times \mathbb{Z}_{m}$ for some $m\in \mathbb{N}$.
We first study the (canonical) orbit category of the bounded derived category of finite dimensional representations of a quiver with no infinite path, and we pay more attention on the case where the quiver is of infinite Dynkin type. In particular, its Auslander-Reiten components are explicitly described. When the quiver is of type $\mathbb{A}_\infty$ or $\mathbb{A}_\infty^\infty$, we show that this orbit category is a cluster category, that is, its cluster-tilting subcategories form a cluster structure. When the quiver is of type $\mathbb{A}_\infty^\infty$, we shall give a geometrical descrip…
We study macroscopically two dimensional $\mathcal{N}=(2,2)$ supersymmetric gauge theories constructed by compactifying the quiver gauge theories with eight supercharges on a product $\mathbb{T}^{d} \times \mathbb{R}^{2}_ε$ of a $d$-dimensional torus and a two dimensional cigar with $Ω$-deformation. We compute the universal part of the effective twisted superpotential. In doing so we establish the correspondence between the gauge theories, quantization of the moduli spaces of instantons on $\mathbb{R}^{2-d} \times \mathbb{T}^{2+d}$ and singular monopoles on $\mathbb{R}^{2-d} \times \mathbb{T}^…
Let $Q$ be a tame quiver of type $\widetilde{\mathbb{A}}_n$ and $\Rep(Q)$ the category of finite dimensional representations over an algebraically closed field. A representation is simply called a module. It will be shown that a regular string module has, up to isomorphism, at most two Gabriel-Roiter submodules. The quivers $Q$ with sink-source orientations will be characterized as those, whose central parts do not contain preinjective modules. It will also be shown that there are only finitely many (central) Gabriel-Roiter measures admitting no direct predecessors. This fact will be generaliz…
For a domestic finite group scheme, we give a direct description of the Euclidean components in its Auslander-Reiten quiver via the McKay-quiver of a finite linearly reductive subgroup scheme of $SL(2)$. Moreover, for a normal subgroup scheme $\mathcal{N}$ of a finite group scheme $\mathcal{G}$, we show that there is a connection between the ramification indices of the restriction morphism $\mathbb{P}(\mathcal{V}_{\mathcal{N}})\rightarrow\mathbb{P}(\mathcal{V}_{\mathcal{G}})$ between their projectivized cohomological support varieties and the ranks of the tubes in their Auslander-Reiten quiver…
In this paper, we study the semi-stable subcategories of the category of representations of a Euclidean quiver, and the possible intersections of these subcategories. Contrary to the Dynkin case, we find out that the intersection of semi-stable subcategories may not be semi-stable. However, only a finite number of exceptions occur, and we give a description of these subcategories. Moreover, one can attach a simplicial fan in $\mathbb{Q}^n$ to any acyclic quiver $Q$, and this simplicial fan allows one to completely determine the canonical presentation of any element in $\mathbb{Z}^n$. This fan …
Let $\mathbb{K}$ denote an algebraically closed field and $A$ a free product of finitely many semisimple associative $\mathbb{K}$-algebras. We associate to $A$ a finite acyclic quiver $Γ$ and show that the category of finite dimensional $A$-modules is equivalent to a full subcategory of the category ${\rm rep}(Γ)$ of finite dimensional representations of $Γ$. Under this equivalence, the simple $A$-modules correspond exactly to the $θ$-stable representations of $Γ$ for some stability parameter $θ$. This gives us necessary conditions for an $A$-module to be simple, conditions which are also suff…
This document serves as an arXiv entry point for the appendix to the paper [13] (the ancillary file e6_proof.pdf -- ``Proof of the tree module property for exceptional representations of the quiver $\widetilde{\mathbb{E}}_6$'') and the appendix to the paper [12] (the ancillary file d6_proof.pdf -- ``Proof of the tree module property for exceptional representations of the quiver $\widetilde{\mathbb{D}}_6$''). The ancillary files contain the computer generated part of the proofs of the main results in [13] respectively [12], giving a complete and general list of tree representations correspondin…
For the moduli space of Higgs bundles on a Riemann surface of positive genus, critical points of the natural Morse-Bott function lie along the nilpotent cone of the Hitchin fibration and are representations of $\mbox{A}$-type quivers in a twisted category of holomorphic bundles. The critical points that globally minimize the function are representations of $\mbox{A}_1$. For twisted Higgs bundles on the projective line, the quiver describing the bottom of the cone is more complicated. We determine it here. We show that the moduli space is topologically connected whenever the rank and degree are…
For a finite subgroup $Γ\subset \mathrm{SL}(2,\mathbb{C})$ and $n\geq 1$, we construct the (reduced scheme underlying the) Hilbert scheme of $n$ points on the Kleinian singularity $\mathbb{C}^2/Γ$ as a Nakajima quiver variety for the framed McKay quiver of $Γ$, taken at a specific non-generic stability parameter. We deduce that this Hilbert scheme is irreducible (a result previously due to Zheng), normal, and admits a unique symplectic resolution. More generally, we introduce a class of algebras obtained from the preprojective algebra of the framed McKay quiver by a process called cornering, a…
We investigate the generalized Kronecker algebra $\mathcal{K}_r = kΓ_r$ with $r \geq 3$ arrows. Given a regular component $\mathcal{C}$ of the Auslander-Reiten quiver of $\mathcal{K}_r$, we show that the quasi-rank $rk(\mathcal{C}) \in \mathbb{Z}_{\leq 1}$ can be described almost exactly as the distance $\mathcal{W}(\mathcal{C}) \in \mathbb{N}_0$ between two non-intersecting cones in $\mathcal{C}$, given by modules with the equal images and the equal kernels property; more precisley, we show that the two numbers are linked by the inequality \[ -\mathcal{W}(\mathcal{C}) \leq rk(\mathcal{C}) \le…
We give a brief review of the cohomological Hall algebra CoHA $\mathcal{H}$ and the K-theoretical Hall algebra KHA $\mathcal{R}$ associated to quivers. In the case of symmetric quivers, we show that there exists a homomorphism of algebras (obtained from a Chern character map) $\mathcal{R}\to \hat{\mathcal{H}}^σ$ where $\hat{\mathcal{H}}^σ$ is a Zhang twist of the completion of $\mathcal{H}$. Moreover, we establish the equivalence of categories of ``locally finite'' graded modules $\hat{\mathcal{H}}^σ-{\rm Mod}_{lf}\simeq \mathcal{R}_{\mathbb Q}-{\rm Mod}_{lf}$. Examples of locally finite $\hat…
For each prime number $s$ we introduce examples of $(s-1)$- and $s$-representation infinite algebras in the sense of Herschend, Iyama and Oppermann, which arise from skew group algebras of some metacyclic groups embedded in $\mathrm{SL}(s,\mathbb{C})$ and $\mathrm{SL}(s+1,\mathbb{C})$. For this purpose, we give a description of the McKay quiver with a superpotential of such groups. Moreover we show that for $s=2$ our examples correspond to the classical tame hereditary algebras of type $\tilde{D}$.
Let $\mathbb{X}$ be a weighted projective line and $\mathcal{C}_\mathbb{X}$ the associated cluster category. It is known that $\mathcal{C}_\mathbb{X}$ can be realized as a generalized cluster category of quiver with potential. In this note, under the assumption that $\mathbb{X}$ has at most three weights or is of tubular type, we prove that if the generalized cluster category $\mathcal{C}_{(Q,W)}$ of a Jacobi-finite non-degenerate quiver with potential $(Q,W)$ shares a $2$-CY tilted algebra with $\mathcal{C}_\mathbb{X}$, then $\mathcal{C}_{(Q,W)}$ is triangle equivalent to $\mathcal{C}_\mathbb…
In this paper we study the combinatorial consequences of the relationship between rational Cherednik algebras of type $G(l,1,n)$, cyclic quiver varieties and Hilbert schemes. We classify and explicitly construct $\mathbb{C}^*$-fixed points in cyclic quiver varieties and calculate the corresponding characters of tautological bundles. Furthermore, we give a combinatorial description of the bijections between $\mathbb{C}^*$-fixed points induced by the Etingof-Ginzburg isomorphism and Nakajima reflection functors. We apply our results to obtain a new proof as well as a generalization of the $q$-ho…
Let $\Bbbk$ be an algebraically closed field, $Q$ a finite quiver, and denote by $\mathop{\mathrm{rep}}_Q^{\mathbf{d}}$ the affine $\Bbbk$-scheme of representations of $Q$ with a fixed dimension vector ${\mathbf{d}}$. Given a representation $M$ of $Q$ with dimension vector ${\mathbf{d}}$, the set ${\mathcal{O}}_M$ of points in $\mathop{\mathrm{rep}}_Q^{\mathbf{d}}(\Bbbk)$ isomorphic as representations to $M$ is an orbit under an action on $\mathop{\mathrm{rep}}_Q^{\mathbf{d}}(\Bbbk)$ of a product of general linear groups. The orbit ${\mathcal{O}}_M$ and its Zariski closure $\overline{\mathcal{…
Let $B(Λ_0)$ be the level 1 highest weight crystal of the quantum affine algebra $U_q(A_n^{(1)})$. We construct an explicit crystal isomorphism between the geometric realization $\mathbb{B}(Λ_0)$ of $B(Λ_0)$ via quiver varieties and the path realization ${\mathcal P}^{\rm ad}(Λ_0)$ of $B(Λ_0)$ arising from the adjoint crystal $\adjoint$.
In \cite{CK2005} and \cite{SZ}, the authors constructed the bases of cluster algebras of finite types and of type $\widetilde{A}_{1,1}$, respectively. In this paper, we will deduce $\mathbb{Z}$-bases for cluster algebras of affine types.
In this paper we study the poset of basic tilting $kQ$-modules when $Q$ is a Dynkin quiver, and the poset of basic support $τ$-tilting $kQ$-modules when $Q$ is a connected acyclic quiver respectively. It is shown that the first poset is a distributive lattice if and only if $Q$ is of types $\mathbb{A}_{1}, \mathbb{A}_{2}$ or $\mathbb{A}_{3}$ with a nonlinear orientation and the second poset is a distributive lattice if and only if $Q$ is of type $\mathbb{A}_{1}$.
