We study actions of bosonizations of quantum linear spaces on quantum algebras. Under mild conditions, we classify actions on quantum affine spaces and quantum matrix algebras. In the former case, it is shown that all actions of generalized Taft algebras are trivial extensions of actions on quantum planes. In both cases we achieve bounds on the rank of the bosonization acting on the algebra.

We classify Hopf actions of Taft algebras T(n) on path algebras of quivers, in the setting where the quiver is loopless, finite, and Schurian. As a corollary, we see that every quiver admitting a faithful Z_n-action (by directed graph automorphisms) also admits inner faithful actions of a Taft algebra. Several examples for actions of the Sweedler algebra T(2) and for actions of T(3) are presented in detail. In this work, the notion of a twisted partial Hopf action is introduced as a unified approach for twisted partial group actions, partial Hopf actions and twisted actions of Hopf algebras. We introduce partial (co)actions of a Hopf algebra $H$ on an algebra. To this end, we introduce first the notion of lax coring, generalizing Wisbauer's notion of weak coring. We also have the dual notion of lax ring. Several duality results are given, and we develop Galois theory for partial $H$-comodule algebras.
