An explicit formula for the height-one multiple zeta values was proved by Kaneko and the second author. We give an alternative proof of this result and its generalization. We also prove its counterpart for the finite multiple zeta values.
We define the interpolated polynomial multiple zeta values as a generalization of all of multiple zeta values, multiple zeta-star values, interpolated multiple zeta values, symmetric multiple zeta values, and polynomial multiple zeta values. We then compute the generating function of the sum of interpolated polynomial multiple zeta values of fixed weight, depth, and height.
This is a report of the author's talk at RIMS workshop 2020 Problems and Prospects in Analytic Number Theory held online on Zoom. We discuss a recent formulation of log Manin's conjecture for klt Campana points and an approach to this conjecture using the height zeta function method.
In this paper, we investigate the sums of mutliple zeta(-star) values of height one: $Z_{\pm}(n)=\sum_{a+b=n} (\pm 1)^bζ(\{1\}^a,b+2)$, $Z_{\pm}^{\star}(n)=\sum_{a+b=n} (\pm 1)^bζ^{\star}(\{1\}^a,b+2)$. In particular, we prove that the weighted sum $\sum_{\substack{0\leq m\leq p\\ m: {\rm even}}} \sum_{\mid\boldsymbolα\mid=p+3} 2^{α_{m+1}\ +1}ζ(α_0,α_1,\ldots,α_m,α_{m+1}+1) $ can be evaluated through the convolution of $Z_{-}(m)$ and $Z_{+}(n)$ with $m+n=p$.
In this paper, we investigate three general forms of multiple zeta(-star) values. We use these values to give three new sum formulas for multiple zeta(-star) values with height $\leq 2$ and the evaluation of $ζ^\star(\{1\}^m,\{2\}^{n+1})$. We also give a new proof of sum formula of multiple zeta values.
An exact formula is obtained for the Fourier transform of the local condition of maximality modulo primes $p>3$ in the prehomogeneous vector space $2 \otimes \mathrm{Sym}^2(\mathbb{Z}_p^3)$ parametrizing quartic fields, thus solving the local `quartic case' in enumerating quartic fields.
Bombieri and Zannier gave an effective construction of algebraic numbers of small height inside the maximal Galois extension of the rationals which is totally split at a given finite set of prime numbers. They proved, in particular, an explicit upper bound for the lim inf of the height of elements in such fields. We generalize their result in an effective way to maximal Galois extensions of number fields with given local behaviour at finitely many places.
For positive integers $i_1,...,i_k$ with $i_1 > 1$, we define the multiple $t$-value $t(i_1,...,i_k)$ as the sum of those terms in the usual infinite series for the multiple zeta value $ζ(i_1,...,i_k)$ with odd denominators. Like the multiple zeta values, the multiple $t$-values can be multiplied according to the rules of the harmonic algebra. Using this fact, we obtain explicit formulas for multiple $t$-values of repeated arguments analogous to those known for multiple zeta values. Multiple $t$-values can be written as rational linear combinations of the alternating or "colored" multiple zeta…

The Riemann hypothesis for Weng's zeta function of $Sp(4)$ over $\mathbb{Q}$
As a generalization of the Dedekind zeta function , Weng defined the high rank zeta functions and proved that they have standard properties of zeta functions, namely, meromorphic continuation, functional equation , and having only two simple poles . The rank one zeta function is the Dedekind zeta function . For the rank two case, the Riemann hypothesis is proved for a general number field. Recently, he defined more general new zeta function associated to a pair of reductive group and its maximal parabolic subgroup . As well as high rank zeta functions, the new zeta function satisfies standard …
We study the relations of multiple $t$-values of general level. The generating function of sums of multiple $t$-(star) values of level $N$ with fixed weight, depth and height is represented by the generalized hypergeometric function $_3F_2$, which generalizes the results for multiple zeta(-star) values and multiple $t$-(star) values. As applications, we obtain formulas for the generating functions of sums of multiple $t$-(star) values of level $N$ with height one and maximal height and a weighted sum formula for sums of multiple $t$-(star) values of level $N$ with fixed weight and depth. Using…
