In this paper, we consider the set of interfaces between + and - spins arising for the critical planar Ising model on a domain with + boundary conditions, and show that it converges towards CLE(3).
Our proof relies on the study of the coupling between the Ising model and its random cluster (FK) representation, and of the interactions between FK and Ising interfaces. The main idea is to construct an exploration process starting from the boundary of the domain, to discover the Ising loops and to establish its convergence to a conformally invariant limit. The challenge is that Ising loops do not touch the boundary; we use the fact that FK loops touch the boundary (and hence can be explored from the boundary) and that Ising loops in turn touch FK loops, to construct a recursive exploration process that visits all the macroscopic loops.
A key ingredient in the proof is the convergence of Ising free arcs to the Free Arc Ensemble (FAE), established in [BDH16]. Qualitative estimates about the Ising interfaces then allow one to identify the scaling limit of Ising loops as a conformally invariant collection of simple, disjoint SLE(3)-like loops and thus by the Markovian characterization of [ShWe12] as a CLE(3).
A technical point of independent interest contained in this paper is an investigation of double points of interfaces in the scaling limit of critical FK-Ising. It relies on the technology of [KeSm12].
Consider the Ising model on a centered box of side length $n$ in $\mathbb Z^d$ with $\mp$-boundary conditions that are minus in the upper half-space and plus in the lower half-space. Dobrushin famously showed that in dimensions $d\ge 3$, at low-temperatures the Ising interface (dual-surface separating the plus/minus phases) is rigid, i.e., it has $O(1)$ height fluctuations. Recently, the authors decomposed these oscillations into pillars and identified their typical shape, leading to a law of large numbers and tightness of their maximum. Suppose we condition on a height-$h$ level curve of the …
Consider the Ising model at low-temperatures and positive external field $λ$ on an $N\times N$ box with Dobrushin boundary conditions that are plus on the north, east, and west boundaries and minus on the south boundary. If $λ= 0$, the interface separating the plus and minus phases is diffusive, having $O(\sqrt N)$ height fluctuations, and the model is fully wetted. Under an order one field, the interface fluctuations are $O(1)$ and the interface is only partially wetted, being pinned to its southern boundary. We study the critical pre-wetting regime of $λ_N \downarrow 0$, where the height flu…
We provide a framework to study the interfaces imposed by Dobrushin boundary conditions on the half-plane version of the Ising model on random triangulations with spins on vertices. Using the combinatorial solution by Albenque, Ménard and Schaeffer ([2]) and the generating function methods introduced by Chen and Turunen ([8], [9]), we show the local weak convergence of such triangulations of the disk as the perimeter tends to infinity, and study the interface imposed by the Dobrushin boundary condition. As a consequence of this analysis, we verify the heuristics of physics literature that disc…

We prove convergence of the 2- and 4-point fermionic observables of the FK-Ising model on simply connected domains discretised by a planar isoradial lattice in massive (near-critical) scaling limit. The former is alternatively known as a (fermionic) martingale observable (MO) for the massive interface, and in particular encapsulates boundary visit probabilties of the interface. The latter encodes connection probabilities in the 4-point alternating (generalised Dobrushin) boundary condition, whose exact convergence is then further analysed to yield crossing estimates for general boundary condit…
In [arXiv:1806.06668], we have studied the Boltzmann random triangulation of the disk coupled to an Ising model on its faces with Dobrushin boundary condition at its critical temperature. In this paper, we investigate the phase transition of this model by extending our previous results to arbitrary temperature: We compute the partition function of the model at all temperatures, and derive several critical exponents associated with the infinite perimeter limit. We show that the model has a local limit at any temperature, whose properties depend drastically on the temperature. At high temperatur…
