Here it is shown that the unitary dynamics of a quantum object may be obtained as the conditional expectation of a counting process of object-clock interactions. Such a stochastic process arises from the quantization of the clock, and this is derived naturally from the matrix-algebra representation of the nilpotent Newton-Leibniz time differential [Belavkin]. It is observed that this condition expectation is a rigorous formulation of the Feynman Path Integral.
We show that for a special class of geometric quantizations with "small" quantum errors, the quantum classical correspondence gives rise to an asymptotic projective representation of the group of Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms. As an application, we get an obstruction to Hamiltonian actions of finitely presented groups.
This is the third article in our series of articles exploring connections between dynamical systems of Stäckel-type and of Painlevé-type. In this article we present a method of deforming of minimally quantized quasi-Stäckel Hamiltonians, considered in Part I to self-adjoint operators satisfying the quantum Frobenius condition, thus guaranteeing that the corresponding Schrödinger equations posses common, multi-time solutions. As in the classical case, we obtain here both magnetic and non-magnetic families of systems. We also show the existence of multitime-dependent quantum canonical maps betwe…
It was shown recently that stochastic quantization can be made into a well defined quantization scheme on (pseudo-)Riemannian manifolds using second order differential geometry, which is an extension of the commonly used first order differential geometry. In this letter, we show that restrictions to relativistic theories can be obtained from this theory by imposing a stochastic energy-momentum relation. In the process, we derive non-perturbative quantum corrections to the line element as measured by scalar particles. Furthermore, we extend the framework of stochastic quantization to massless s…
We embed Nelson's stochastic quantization in the Schwartz-Meyer second order geometry framework. The result is a non-perturbative theory of quantum mechanics on (pseudo)-Riemannian manifolds. Within this approach, we derive stochastic differential equations for massive spin-0 test particles charged under scalar potentials, vector potentials and gravity. Furthermore, we derive the associated Schrödinger equation. The resulting equations show that massive scalar particles must be conformally coupled to gravity in a theory of quantum gravity. We conclude with a discussion of some prospects of the…
We introduce geometric quantization in the setting of shifted symplectic structures. We define Lagrangian fibrations and prequantizations of shifted symplectic stacks and their geometric quantization. In addition, we study many examples including symplectic groupoids, Hamiltonian spaces and moduli spaces of flat connections. In the case of Hamiltonian spaces we prove a derived analog of the "quantization commutes with reduction" principle.
We introduce a stochastic analysis of Grassmann random variables suitable for the stochastic quantization of Euclidean fermionic quantum field theories. Analysis on Grassmann algebras is developed here from the point of view of quantum probability: a Grassmann random variable is an homomorphism of an abstract Grassmann algebra into a quantum probability space, i.e. a $C^{\ast}$-algebra endowed with a suitable state. We define the notion of Gaussian processes, Brownian motion and stochastic (partial) differential equations taking values in Grassmann algebras. We use them to study the long time …
The present paper is a continuation of our previous work on the stochastic quantization of the $\exp(Φ)_2$-quantum field model on the two-dimensional torus. Making use of key properties of Gaussian multiplicative chaos and refining the method for singular SPDEs introduced in the previous work, we construct a unique time-global solution to the corresponding parabolic stochastic quantization equation in the full "$L^{1}$-regime" $\vertα\vert<\sqrt{8π}$ of the charge parameter $α$. We also identify the solution with an infinite-dimensional diffusion process constructed by the Dirichlet form appro…
