Recently, a new perspective of gravitational-thermodynamic duality as an entropic force arising from alterations in the information connected to the positions of material bodies is found. In this paper, we generalize some aspects of this model in the presence of noncommutative Schwarzschild black hole by applying the method of coordinate coherent states describing smeared structures. We implement two different distributions: (a) Gaussian and (b) Lorentzian. Both mass distributions prepare the similar quantitative aspects for the entropic force. Our study shows, the entropic force on the smallest fundamental unit of a holographic screen with radius $r_0$ vanishes. As a result, black hole remnants are unconditionally inert even gravitational interactions do not exist therein. So, a distinction between gravitational and inertial mass in the size of black hole remnant is observed, i.e. the failure of the principle of equivalence. In addition, if one considers the screen radius to be less than the radius of the smallest holographic surface at the Planckian regime, then one encounters some unusual dynamical features leading to gravitational repulsive force and negative energy. On the other hand, the significant distinction between the two distributions is conceived to occur around $r_0$, and that is worth of mentioning: at this regime either our analysis is not the proper one, or non-extensive statistics should be employed.
Based on the perturbation expansion, we compute the noncommutative corrections to the minimal surface areas of the pure AdS spacetime and Schwarzschild-AdS black hole, where the noncommutative background is suitably constructed in terms of the Poincaré coordinate system. In particular, we find a reasonable tetrad with subtlety, which not only matches the metrics of the pure AdS spacetime and Schwarzschild-AdS black hole in the commutative case, but also makes the corrections real rather than complex in the noncommutative case. For the pure AdS spacetime, the nocommutative effect is only a loga…
In this paper we study through tunneling formalism, the effect of noncommutativity to Hawking radiation and the entropy of the noncommutative Schwarzschild black hole. In our model we have considered the noncommutativity implemented via the Lorentzian distribution. We obtain non-commutative corrections to the Hawking temperature using the Hamilton-Jacobi method and the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation. In addition, we found corrections of the logarithmic and other types due to noncommutativity and quantum corrections from the generalized uncertainty principle (GUP) for the entropy…
We present a toy model of fuzzy Schwarzschild space slice (as a noncommutative manifold) which quantum mean values and quantum quasi-coherent states (states minimizing the quantum uncertainties) have properties close to the classical slice of the $(r,θ)$ Schwarzschild coordinates (the so-called Flamm's paraboloid). This fuzzy Schwarzschild slice is built as a deformation of the noncommutative plane. Quantum time observables are introduced to add a time quantization in the model. We study the structure of the quasi-coherent state of the fuzzy Schwarzschild slice with respect to the quasi-cohere…
For a pair of incompatible quantum measurements, the total uncertainty can be bounded by a state-independent constant. However, such a bound can be violated if the quantum system is entangled with another quantum system (called memory); the quantum correlation between the systems can reduce the measurement uncertainty. On the other hand, in a curved spacetime, the presence of the Hawking radiation can increase the uncertainty in quantum measurement. The interplay of quantum correlation in the curved spacetime has become an interesting arena for studying quantum uncertainty relations. Here we d…

We investigate the massless scalar quasinormal modes (QNMs) of the noncommutative $D$-dimensional Schwarzschild-Tangherlini black hole spacetime in this paper. By using the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation method, the asymptotic iterative method (AIM) and the inverted potential method (IPM) method, we made a detail analysis of the massless scalar QNM frequencies by varying the general smeared matter distribution and the allowable characteristic parameters ($k$ and $θ$) corresponding to different dimensions. It is found that the nonconvergence of the high order WKB approximation ex…
Explicit tests are presented of the conjectured entropic origin of the gravitational force. The gravitational force on a test particle in the vicinity of the horizon of a large Schwarzschild black hole in arbitrary spacetime dimensions is obtained as entropic force. The same conclusion can be reached for the cases of a large electrically charged black hole and a large slowly rotating Kerr black hole. The generalization along the same lines to a test mass in the field of an arbitrary spherical star is also studied and found not to be possible. Our results thus reinforce the argument that the en…
We use the ideas of entropic gravity to derive the FRW cosmological model and show that for late time evolution we have an effective cosmological constant. By using the first law of thermodynamics and the modified entropy area relationship derived from the supersymmetric Wheeler-DeWitt equation of the Schwarzschild black hole, we obtain modifications to the Friedmann equations that in the late time regime gives an effective positive cosmological constant. Therefore, this simple model can account for the dark energy component of the universe by providing an entropic origin to the cosmological c…
In this paper we investigate quasinormal modes (QNM) for a scalar field around a noncommutative Schwarzschild black hole. We verify the effect of noncommutativity on quasinormal frequencies by applying two procedures widely used in the literature. The first is the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin (WKB) approximation up to sixth order. In the second case we use the continuous fraction method developed by Leaver. Besides, we also show that due to noncommutativity, the shadow radius is reduced when we increase the noncommutative parameter. In addition, we find that the shadow radius is nonzero even at t…
