We provide the classical mechanics of many particles moving in canonically twist-deformed space-time. In particular, we consider two examples of such noncommutative systems - the set of N particles moving in gravitational field as well as the system of N interacting harmonic oscillators.
We investigate the Kerr black hole defined on canonically deformed space-time. Particulary, we find the corresponding event horizon, the ergosphere, the temperature and the entropy of such deformed object.
In this paper we construct Seiberg-Witten maps for superfields on canonically deformed N=1, d=4 Minkowski and Euclidean superspace. On Minkowski superspace we show that the Seiberg-Witten map is not compatible with locality, (anti)chirality and supersymmetry at the same time. On Euclidean superspace we show that there exists a local, chiral and supersymmetric Seiberg-Witten map for chiral superfields if we take the noncommutativity parameter to be selfdual, and a local, antichiral and supersymmetric Seiberg-Witten map for antichiral superfields if we take the noncommutativity parameter to be a…
The classical and quantum oscillator model on Lie-algebraically deformed nonrelativistic space-time is introduced and analyzed. The corresponding equations of motions are studied using mostly numerical methods. The time-dependent energy spectrum is presented as well.
In this article we provide canonically deformed classical Henon-Heiles system. Further we demonstrate that for proper value of deformation parameter $θ$ there appears chaos in the model.
We study the general deformed conformal-Poincare (Galilean) symmetries consistent with relativistic (nonrelativistic) canonical noncommutative spaces. In either case we obtain deformed generators, containing arbitrary free parameters, which close to yield new algebraic structures. We show that a particular choice of these parameters reproduces the undeformed algebra. The modified coproduct rules and the associated Hopf algebra are also obtained. Finally, we show that for the choice of parameters leading to the undeformed algebra, the deformations are represented by twist functions.
We study the nonrelativistic limit of the motion of a classical particle in a model of deformed special relativity and of the corresponding generalized Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations, and show that they reproduce nonrelativistic classical and quantum mechanics, respectively, although the rest mass of a particle no longer coincides with its inertial mass. This fact clarifies the meaning of the different definitions of velocity of a particle available in DSR literature. Moreover, the rest mass of particles and antiparticles differ, breaking the CPT invariance. This effect is close to observati…
We deform the interaction between nonrelativistic point particles on a plane and a Chern-Simons field to obtain an action invariant with respect to time-dependent area-preserving diffeomorphisms. The deformed and undeformed Lagrangians are connected by a point transformation leading to a classical Seiberg-Witten map between the corresponding gauge fields. The Schroedinger equation derived by means of Moyal-Weyl quantization from the effective two-particle interaction exhibits - a singular metric, leading to a splitting of the plane into an interior (bag-) and an exterior region, - a singular p…
We consider time-dependent Schrödinger equations for a free nonrelativistic particle on the three-dimensional $q$-deformed Euclidean space. We determine plane wave solutions to these Schrödinger equations and show that they form a complete orthonormal system. We derive $q$-deformed expressions for propagators of a nonrelativistic particle. Considerations about expectation values for position or momentum of a nonrelativistic particle conclude our studies.
In this paper, we present our study on the $T\bar{T}$-deformation of non-relativistic complex scalar field theory. We find the closed form of the deformed Lagrangian by using the perturbation and the method of characteristics. Furthermore we compute the exact energy spectrum of the deformed free theory by using the Brillouin-Wigner perturbation theory in an appropriate regularization scheme.
Recently, there has been provided two chaotic models based on the twist-deformation of classical Henon-Heiles system. First of them has been constructed on the well-known, canonical space-time noncommutativity, while the second one on the Lie-algebraically type of quantum space, with two spatial directions commuting to classical time. In this article, we find the direct link between mentioned above systems, by synchronization both of them in the framework of active control method. Particularly, we derive at the canonical phase-space level the corresponding active controllers as well as we perf…
Based on the uniqueness and universality of gravity, it is clear that theories with different dynamical exponents are related in the holographic approach. Concretely, we construct an M-theory background from pure QCD dual and show that a deformed $Sch_{6}^{4}$ geometry is obtained by compactification from the same background. The deformed $Sch_{6}^{4}$ geometry is considered as the geometrical realization of a four-dimensional nonrelativistic field theory. Several aspects of this nonrelativistic field theory are studied in the holographic picture.
We show that the (torsional) nonrelativistic string sigma models on $ R\times S^2 $ can be mapped into \emph{deformed} Rosochatius like integrable models in one dimension. We also explore the associated Hamiltonian constrained structure by introducing appropriate Dirac brackets. These results show some solid evidence of the underlying integrable structure in the nonrelativistic sector of the gauge/string duality.
In this article we discus the energy-momentum conservation principle for two-particle system in the case of canonically and Lie-algebraically twist-deformed Galilei Hopf algebra. Particularly, we provide consistent with the coproducts energy and momentum addition law as well as its symmetric with respect the exchange of particles counterpart. Besides, we show that the vanishing of total fourmomentum for two Lie-algebraically deformed kinematical models leads to the discret values of energies and momenta only in the case of the symmetrized addition rules.
The effective Lagrangian for Nambu-Goldstone bosons (NGBs) in systems without Lorentz invariance has a novel feature that some of the NGBs are canonically conjugate to each other, hence describing $1$ dynamical degree of freedom by two NGB fields. We develop explicit forms of their effective Lagrangian up to the quadratic order in derivatives. We clarify the counting rules of NGB degrees of freedom and completely classify possibilities of such canonically conjugate pairs based on the topology of the coset spaces. Its consequence on the dispersion relations of the NGBs is clarified. We also pre…
We twist the Hopf algebra of igl(n,R) to obtain the kappa-deformed spacetime coordinates. Coproducts of the twisted Hopf algebras are explicitly given. The kappa-deformed spacetime obtained this way satisfies the same commutation relation as that of the conventional kappa-Minkowski spacetime, but its Hopf algebra structure is different from the well known kappa-deformed Poincare algebra in that it has larger symmetry algebra than the kappa-Minkowski case. There are some physical models which consider this symmetry. Incidentally, we obtain the canonical (theta-deformed) non-commutative spacetim…
Differential realizations in coordinate space for deformed Lie algebras with three generators are obtained using bosonic creation and annihilation operators satisfying Heisenberg commutation relations. The unified treatment presented here contains as special cases all previously given coordinate realizations of $so(2,1),so(3)$ and their deformations. Applications to physical problems involving eigenvalue determination in nonrelativistic quantum mechanics are discussed.
Three dimensional Dirac oscillator was considered in deformed space obeyed to deformed commutation relations known as Snyder-de Sitter algebra. Snyder-de Sitter commutation relations gives rise to appearance minimal uncertainty in position as well as in momentum. To derive energy spectrum and wavefunctions of the Dirac oscillator supersymmetric quantum mechanics and shape invariance technique was applied.
We investigate the low energy physics of particles in the symmetric phase of the N=6 mass-deformed ABJM theory in terms of the superconformal nonrelativistic field theory with 14 supercharges. They describe the certain kind of excitations on M2 branes in the background of external four-form flux. We study the nonrelativistic superconformal algebra and their representations by using the operator-state correspondence with the related harmonic oscillator Hamiltonian. We find the unitarity bounds on the scaling dimension and particle number of any local operator, and comment on subtleties in compu…
We explore some explicit representations of a certain stable deformed algebra of quantum mechanics, considered by R. Vilela Mendes, having a fundamental length scale. The relation of the irreducible representations of the deformed algebra to those of the (limiting) Heisenberg algebra is discussed, and we construct the generalized harmonic oscillator Hamiltonian in this framework. To obtain local currents for this algebra, we extend the usual nonrelativistic local current algebra of vector fields and the corresponding group of diffeomorphisms, modeling the quantum configuration space as a commu…
The light-cone gauge approach to $T\overline{T}$ deformed models is used to derive the $T\overline{T}$ deformed matrix nonlinear Schrödinger equation, the Landau--Lifshitz equation, and the Gardner equation. Properties of one-soliton solutions of the $T\overline{T}$ deformed nonlinear Schrödinger and Korteweg--de Vries equations are discussed in detail. The NLS soliton exhibits the recently discussed phenomenon of widening/narrowing width of particles under the $T\overline{T}$ deformation. However, whether the soliton's size is increasing or decreasing depends not only on the sign of the defor…
The momentum operator representation of nonrelativistic anyons is developed in the Chern - Simons formulation of fractional statistics. The connection between anyons and the q-deformed bosonic algebra is established.
In this article we provide the Henon-Heiles system defined on Lie-algebraically deformed nonrelativistic space-time with the commutator of two spatial directions proportional to time. Particularly, we demonstrate that in such a model the total energy is not conserved and for this reason the role of control parameter is taken by the initial energy value $E_{0,{\rm tot}} = E_{\rm tot}(t=0)$. Besides, we show that in contrast with the commutative case, for chosen values of deformation parameter $κ$, there appears chaos in the system for initial total energies $E_{0,{\rm tot}}$ below the threshold…
The statistics of $q$-oscillators, quons and to some extent, of anyons are studied and the basic differences among these objects are pointed out. In particular, the statistical distributions for different bosonic and fermionic $q$-oscillators are found for their corresponding Fock space representations in the case when the hamiltonian is identified with the number operator. In this case and for nonrelativistic particles, the single-particle temperature Green function is defined with $q$-deformed periodicity conditions. The equations of state for nonrelativistic and ultrarelativistic bosonic $q…
We study scalar field and string theory on non commutative q-deformed spaces. We define a product of functions on a non commutative algebra of functions resulting from the q-deformation analogue to the Moyal product for canonically non commutative spaces. We then give the general procedure to define scalar field and classical string theories on the mentioned spaces, we argue that the resulting theories will have enlarged sets of both spacetime and internal symmetries which can be used to study gravitational effects due to the q-deformation.
In this article we provide three new twist-deformed Newtonian Schwarzschild-(Anti-)de Sitter models. They are defined on the Lie-algebraically as well as on the canonically noncommutative space-times respectively. Particularly we find the corresponding Hamiltonian functions and the proper equations of motion. The relations between the models are discussed as well.
We investigate deformed superconformal symmetries on non(anti)commutative (super)spaces from the point of view of the Drinfel'd twisted symmetries. We classify all possible twist elements derived from an abelian subsector of the superconformal algebra. The symmetry breaking caused by the non(anti)commutativity of the (super)spaces is naturally interpreted as the modification of their coproduct emerging from the corresponding twist element. The remaining unbroken symmetries are determined by the commutative properties of those symmetry generators possessing the twist element. We also comment on…
We compare two ways of force terms generating in the model of nonrelativistic particle moving in the presence of constant field force $\vec{F}$. First of them uses the twist-deformed acceleration-enlarged Newton-Hooke quantum space-times while the second one incorporates the doubly enlarged Newton-Hooke transformations of classical space. Particulary, we find the conditions for which the both treatments provide the same force terms.

We consider a scalar $ϕ^4$ theory on canonically deformed Euclidean space in 4 dimensions with an additional oscillator potential. This model is known to be renormalisable. An exterior gauge field is coupled in a gauge invariant manner to the scalar field. We extract the dynamics for the gauge field from the divergent terms of the 1-loop effective action using a matrix basis and propose an action for the noncommutative gauge theory, which is a candidate for a renormalisable model.
Nonrelativistic quantum mechanics and conformal quantum mechanics are deformed through a Jordanian twist. The deformed space coordinates satisfy the Snyder noncommutativity. The resulting deformed Hamiltonians are pseudo-Hermitian Hamiltonians of the type discussed by Mostafazadeh. The quantization scheme makes use of the so-called "unfolded formalism" discussed in previous works. A Hopf algebra structure, compatible with the physical interpretation of the coproduct, is introduced for the Universal Enveloping Algebra of a suitably chosen dynamical Lie algebra (the Hamiltonian is contained amon…
We compare two ways of force terms generating in the model of nonrelativistic particle moving in the presence of constant field force $\vec{F}$. First of them uses the twist-deformed N-enlarged Newton-Hooke quantum space-times while the second one incorporates the Coriolis transformations of classical space. Particularly, we find the conditions for which the both treatments provide the same force terms. The presented investigations are performed by analogy to the schemes and ideas proposed in paper [1].
A deformation of the algebra of diffeomorphisms is constructed for canonically deformed spaces with constant deformation parameter theta. The algebraic relations remain the same, whereas the comultiplication rule (Leibniz rule) is different from the undeformed one. Based on this deformed algebra a covariant tensor calculus is constructed and all the concepts like metric, covariant derivatives, curvature and torsion can be defined on the deformed space as well. The construction of these geometric quantities is presented in detail. This leads to an action invariant under the deformed diffeomorph…
The three quantum groups dual to the generalized twist deformed Poincare Hopf algebras are provided with use of FRT procedure. Their Galilean counterparts are obtained by nonrelativistic contraction scheme.
A dynamical system is canonically associated to every Drinfeld double of any affine Kac-Moody group. The choice of the affine Lu-Weinstein-Soibelman double gives a smooth one-parameter deformation of the standard WZW model. In particular, the worldsheet and the target of the classical version of the deformed theory are the ordinary smooth manifolds. The quasitriangular WZW model is exactly solvable and it admits the chiral decomposition. Its classical action is not invariant with respect to the left and right action of the loop group, however it satisfies the weaker condition of the Poisson-Lie…
We summarize our recently proposed approach to quantum field theory on noncommutative curved spacetimes. We make use of the Drinfel'd twist deformed differential geometry of Julius Wess and his group in order to define an action functional for a real scalar field on a twist-deformed time-oriented, connected and globally hyperbolic Lorentzian manifold. The corresponding deformed wave operator admits unique deformed retarded and advanced Green's operators, provided we pose a support condition on the deformation. The solution space of the deformed wave equation is constructed explicitly and can b…
We propose canonical and Lie-algebraic twist deformations of $κ$-deformed Poincare Hopf algebra which leads to the generalized $κ$-Minkowski space-time relations. The corresponding deformed $κ$-Poincare quantum groups are also calculated. Finally, we perform the nonrelativistic contraction limit to the corresponding twisted Galilean algebras and dual Galilean quantum groups.
The set of trajectories for massive spinless particles on $AdS_{N+1}$ spacetime is described by the dynamical integrals related to the isometry group SO(2,N). The space of dynamical integrals is mapped one to one to the phase space of the $N$-dimensional oscillator. Quantizing the system canonically, the classical expressions for the symmetry generators are deformed in a consistent way to preserve the $so(2,N)$ commutation relations. This quantization thus yields new explicit realizations of the spin zero positive energy UIR's of SO(2,N) for generic $N$. The representations as usual can be cha…
The three new deformed Poincare Hopf algebras are constructed with use of twist procedure. The corresponding relativistic space-times providing the sum of canonical and Lie-algebraic type of noncommutativity are proposed. Finally, the nonrelativistic contraction limits to the corresponding Galilei Hopf algebras are performed.
We examine the problem of defining Lagrangian and Hamiltonian mechanics for a particle moving on a quantum plane $Q_{q,p}$. For Lagrangian mechanics, we first define a tangent quantum plane $TQ_{q,p}$ spanned by noncommuting particle coordinates and velocities. Using techniques similar to those of Wess and Zumino, we construct two different differential calculi on $TQ_{q,p}$. These two differential calculi can in principle give rise to two different particle dynamics, starting from a single Lagrangian. For Hamiltonian mechanics, we define a phase space $T^*Q_{q,p}$ spanned by noncommuting part…
In this talk I discuss a recently developed "Unfolded Quantization Framework". It allows to introduce a Hamiltonian Second Quantization based on a Hopf algebra endowed with a coproduct satisfying, for the Hamiltonian, the physical requirement of being a primitive element. The scheme can be applied to theories deformed via a Drinfeld twist. I discuss in particular two cases: the abelian twist deformation of a rotationally invariant nonrelativistic Quantum Mechanics (the twist induces a standard noncommutativity) and the Jordanian twist of the harmonic oscillator. In the latter case the twist in…
We consider the probabilistic description of nonrelativistic, spinless one-particle classical mechanics, and immerse the particle in a deformed noncommutative phase space in which position coordinates do not commute among themselves and also with canonically conjugate momenta. With a postulated normalized distribution function in the quantum domain, the square of the Dirac delta density distribution in the classical case is properly realised in noncommutative phase space and it serves as the quantum condition. With only these inputs, we pull out the entire formalisms of noncommutative quantum …
It is known that actions of field theories on a noncommutative space-time can be written as some modified (we call them $θ$-modified) classical actions already on the commutative space-time (introducing a star product). Then the quantization of such modified actions reproduces both space-time noncommutativity and usual quantum mechanical features of the corresponding field theory. The $θ$-modification for arbitrary finite-dimensional nonrelativistic system was proposed by Deriglazov (2003). In the present article, we discuss the problem of constructing $θ$-modified actions for relativistic QM.…
We provide evidence for conjectural dualities between nonrelativistic Chern-Simons-matter theories and theories of (fractional, nonAbelian) quantum Hall fluids in $2+1$ dimensions. At low temperatures, the dynamics of nonrelativistic Chern-Simons-matter theories can be described in terms of a nonrelativistic quantum mechanics of vortices. At critical coupling, this may be solved by geometric quantisation of the vortex moduli space. Using localisation techniques, we compute the Euler characteristic $χ(\mathcal{L}^λ)$ of an arbitrary power $λ$ of a quantum line bundle $\mathcal{L}$ on the moduli…
We explore the consequences of time-space noncommutativity in the quantum mechanics of atoms and molecules, focusing on the Moyal plane with just time-space noncommutativity ($[\hat{x}_μ,\hat{x}_ν]=iθ_{μν}$, $θ_{0i}\neqq 0$, $θ_{ij}=0$). Space rotations and parity are not automorphisms of this algebra and are not symmetries of quantum physics. Still, when there are spectral degeneracies of a time-independent Hamiltonian on a commutative space-time which are due to symmetries, they persist when $θ_{0i}\neqq 0$; they do not depend at all on $θ_{0i}$. They give no clue about rotation and parity v…
These notes present an introduction to an analytic version of deformation quantization. The central point is to study algebras of physical observables and their irreducible representations. In classical mechanics one deals with real Poisson algebras, whereas in quantum mechanics the observables have the structure of a real non-associative Jordan-Lie algebra. The non-associativity is proportional to $\pl^2$, hence for $\pl\raw 0$ one recovers a real Poisson algebra. This observation lies at the basis of `strict' deformation quantization, where one deforms a given Poisson algebra into a $C^*$-al…
The construction of exactly-solvable models has recently been advanced by considering integrable $T\bar{T}$ deformations and related Hamiltonian deformations in quantum mechanics. We introduce a broader class of non-Hermitian Hamiltonian deformations in a nonrelativistic setting, to account for the description of a large class of open quantum systems, which includes, e.g., arbitrary Markovian evolutions conditioned to the absence of quantum jumps. We relate the time evolution operator and the time-evolving density matrix in the undeformed and deformed theories in terms of integral transforms w…
