For every $p$-group of order $p^n$ with the derived subgroup of order $p^m$, Rocco in \cite{roc} has shown that the order of tensor square of $G$ is at most $p^{n(n-m)}$. In the present paper not only we improve his bound for non-abelian $p$-groups but also we describe the structure of all non-abelian $p$-groups when the bound is attained for a special case. Moreover, our results give as well an upper bound for the order of $π_3(SK(G, 1))$.

In this paper, we discuss about finite groups in which, CGH = NGH, for every abelian subgroup H of non prime power order. Also, we classify all such nilpotent and minimal non nilpotent groups.
Let $G$ be a finite group and assume $p$ is a prime dividing the order of $G$. Suppose for any such $p$, that every two abelian $p$-subgroups of $G$ of equal order are conjugate. The structure of such a group $G$ has been settled in this article.
In this paper, we arrive at the structure for $G^{ab}(= G/G')$ from a presentation for $G$. We also prove that the frattini subgroup of the abelianization is $G^p$ or the quotient of $G^p$ by the derived subgroup $G'$.
We obtain a classification of the finite two-generated cyclic-by-abelian groups of prime-power order. For that we associate to each such group $G$ a list $\inv(G)$ of numerical group invariants which determines the isomorphism type of $G$. Then we describe the set formed by all the possible values of $\inv(G)$. This allows computer implementations for constructing all the finite-two generated cyclic-by-abelian groups of a given prime-power order, computing the invariants of such a group, and to decide whether two such groups are isomorphic.
The \textbf{Co-Prime Order Graph} $Θ(G)$ of a given finite group is a simple undirected graph whose vertex set is the group $G$ itself, and any two vertexes x,y in $Θ(G)$ are adjacent if and only if $gcd(o(x),o(y))=1$ or prime. In this paper, we find a precise formula to count the degree of a vertex in the Co-Prime Order graph of a finite abelian group or Dihedral group $D_n$.We also investigate the Laplacian spectrum of the Co-Prime Order Graph $Θ(G)$ when G is finite abelian p-group, ${\mathbb{Z}_p}^t \times {\mathbb{Z}_q}^s$ or Dihedral group $D_{p^n}$. Key Words and Phrases: Co-Prime Order…
We prove that, for every odd prime number $p$, there are $2p-1$ paramedial quasigroups of order $p$ and $6p^2-p-1$ paramedial quasigroups of order $p^2$, up to isomorphism. We present a complete list of those which are simple.
In this paper we consider all groups of order dividing $p^5$. We obtain the explicit structure of the non-abelian tensor square, non-abelian exterior square, tensor center, exterior center, the third homotopy group of suspension of an Eilenberg-MacLain space $k(G,1) $ and $\triangledown(G)$ of such groups.
Let $G$ be a finite group, and let $Δ(G)$ be the prime graph built on its set of conjugacy class sizes: this is the (simple undirected) graph whose vertices are the prime numbers dividing some conjugacy class size of $G$, and two distinct vertices $p, q$ are adjacent if and only if $pq$ divides some class size of $G$. In this paper, we characterise the structure of those groups $G$ whose prime graph $Δ(G)$ is a block square.
For each Sophie Germain prime $g \geq 5,$ we construct an absolutely simple polarized abelian variety of dimension $g$ over a finite field, whose automorphism group is a cyclic group of order $4g+2$. We also provide a description on the asymptotic behavior of prime numbers that are related to our construction.
On the residual finiteness of the non-abelian tensor square $G \otimes G$, the non-abelian exterior square $G \wedge G$ and the weak commutativity construction $\X(G)$
The power graph of a given finite group is a simple undirected graph whose vertex set is the group itself, and there is an edge between any two distinct vertices if one is a power of the other. In this paper, we find a precise formula to count the degree of a vertex in the power graph of a finite abelian group of prime-power order. By using the degree formula, we give a new proof to show that the power graph of a cyclic group of prime-power order is complete. We finally determine the degree of a vertex in the power graph of a finite abelian group.
We determine the Hopf Galois structures on a Galois field extension of degree twice an odd prime square and classify the corresponding left braces. Besides we determine the separable field extensions of degree twice an odd prime square allowing a cyclic Hopf Galois structure and the number of these structures.
An equation to compute the dp-rank of any abelian group is given. It is also shown that its dp-rank, or more generally that of any one-based group, agrees with its Vapnik-Chervonenkis density. Furthermore, strong abelian groups are characterised to be precisely those abelian groups $A$ such that there is only finitely many primes $p$ such that the group $A/pA$ is infinite and for every prime $p$, there is only finitely many natural numbers $n$ such that $(p^nA)[p]/(p^{n+1}A)[p]$ is infinite. Finally, it is shown that an infinite stable field of finite dp-rank is algebraically closed.
In this paper we give an example of a linear group such that its tensor square is not linear. Also, we formulate some sufficient conditions for the linearity of non-abelian tensor products $G \otimes H$ and tensor squares $G \otimes G$. Using these results we prove that tensor squares of some groups with one relation and some knot groups are linear. We prove that the Peiffer square of finitely generated linear groups is linear. At the end we construct faithful linear representations for the non-abelian tensor square of free group and free nilpotent group.
Let $p$ be a prime and let $G$ be a finite $p$-group. We show that the isomorphism type of the maximal abelian direct factor of $G$, as well as the isomorphism type of the group algebra over $\mathbb F_p$ of the non-abelian remaining direct factor, are determined by $\mathbb F_p G$, generalizing the main result in arXiv:2110.10025 over the prime field. In order to do this, we address the problem of finding characteristic subgroups of $G$ such that their relative augmentation ideals depend only on the $k$-algebra structure of $kG$, where $k$ is any field of characteristic $p$, and relate it to …
