In this note, we derive the spectrum of the infinite quantum XXZ spin chain with domain wall boundary conditions. The eigenstates are constructed as limits of Bethe states for the finite XXZ spin chain with quantum sl(2) invariant boundary conditions.
We study the time evolution of the spin-1/2 XXZ chain initialized in a domain wall state, where all spins to the left of the origin are up, all spins to its right are down. The focus is on exact formulae, which hold for arbitrary finite (real or imaginary) time. In particular, we compute the amplitudes corresponding to the process where all but $k$ spins come back to their initial orientation, as a $k-$fold contour integral. These results are obtained using a correspondence with the six vertex model, and taking a somewhat complicated Hamiltonian/Trotter-type limit. Several simple applications …
We study an effective Hamiltonian generating time evolution of states on intermediate time scales in the strong-coupling limit of the spin-1/2 XXZ model. To leading order, it describes an integrable model with local interactions. We solve it completely by means of a coordinate Bethe Ansatz that manifestly breaks the translational symmetry. We demonstrate the existence of exponentially many jammed states and estimate their stability under the leading correction to the effective Hamiltonian. Some ground state properties of the model are discussed.
We calculate the critical exponents of the threshold singularity for the spectral density of the XXZ- spin chain at zero magnetic field for the lower threshold. We show that the corresponding phase shifts are momentum-independent and coinside with the predictions of the effective mobile impurity Hamiltonian approach. We show that for the eigenstates with the high-energy particle with the momentum $k$ which is much larger than the momenta of the particle-hole excitations the formfactor is not described in the framework of the Luttinger model even in the limit $k<<p_F$ but should be evaluated in…
In this note we relate the Hamiltonian of the integrable non-compact spin $s$ XXZ chain to the Markov generator of a stochastic particle process. The hopping rates of the continuous-time process are identified with the ones of a q-Hahn asymmetric zero range model. The main difference with the asymmetric simple exclusion process (ASEP), which can be mapped to the ordinary XXZ spin chain, is that multiple particles can occupy one and the same site. For the non-compact spin $\frac{1}{2}$ XXZ chain the associated stochastic process reduces to the multiparticle asymmetric diffusion model introduced…
Exactly conserved quasilocal operators for the XXZ spin chain
我们推广了T. Prosen的XXZ模型的准局部守恒量的构造[Phys. Rev. Lett.
We consider the spin-$J$ XXZ-Hamiltonian on general graphs $\mathcal{G}$ and show its equivalence to a direct sum of discrete many-particle Schrödinger type operators on what we call "$N$-particle graphs with maximal local occupation number $M$", where the kinetic term is described by a weighted Laplacian. Generalizing previous results for the spin-$1/2$ case, we give sufficient conditions for the existence of spectral gaps above the low-lying droplet band when the underlying graph $\mathcal{G}$ is (i) the chain and (ii) a strip of width $L$.
We introduce new $U_q\mathfrak{sl}_2$-invariant boundary conditions for the open XXZ spin chain. For generic values of $q$ we couple the bulk Hamiltonian to an infinite-dimensional Verma module on one or both boundaries of the spin chain, and for $q=e^{\frac{iπ}{p}}$ a $2p$-th root of unity $ - $ to its $p$-dimensional analogue. Both cases are parametrised by a continuous "spin" $α\in\mathbb{C}$. To motivate our construction, we first specialise to $q=i$, where we obtain a modified XX Hamiltonian with unrolled quantum group symmetry, whose spectrum and scaling limit is computed explicitly usin…
The open XXZ spin chain with the anisotropy parameter $Δ=-\frac12$ and diagonal boundary magnetic fields that depend on a parameter $x$ is studied. For real $x>0$, the exact finite-size ground-state eigenvalue of the spin-chain Hamiltonian is explicitly computed. In a suitable normalisation, the ground-state components are characterised as polynomials in $x$ with integer coefficients. Linear sum rules and special components of this eigenvector are explicitly computed in terms of determinant formulas. These results follow from the construction of a contour-integral solution to the boundary quan…
In this paper we obtain formulas for the distribution of the left-most up-spin in the Heisenberg-Ising spin-1/2 chain with anisotropy parameter $Δ$, also known as the XXZ spin-1/2 chain, on the one-dimensional lattice $\mathbb{Z}$ with domain wall initial conditions. We use the Bethe Ansatz to solve the Schr$ö$dinger equation and a recent antisymmetrization identity of Cantini, Colomo, and Pronko (arXiv:1906.07636) to simplify the marginal distribution of the left-most up-spin. In the $Δ=0$ case, the distribution $F_2$ arises. In the $Δ\neq 0$ case, we propose a conjectural series expansion ty…
