We include effects of nonlocal quark condensates into QCD sum rules (QSR) via the K$\ddot{\mathrm{a}}$ll$\acute{\mathrm{e}}$n-Lehmann representation for a dressed fermion propagator, in which a negative spectral density function manifests their nonperturbative nature. Applying our formalism to the pion form factor as an example, QSR results are in good agreement with data for momentum transfer squared up to $Q^2 \approx 10 $ GeV$^2$. It is observed that the nonlocal quark condensate contribution descends like $1/Q^2$, different from the exponential decrease in $Q^2$ obtained in the literature, and contrary to the linear rise in the local-condensate approximation.
The vortical susceptibility of chiral condensate is derived in two ways. First we obtain this using the spectrum of the Dirac operator in a metric of a curved space-time, which corresponds to rotation. Second we come to the expression for the susceptibility via the holographic approach to QCD.
Nonlocal gluon condensates are vacuum expectations of the product of gluon field strength tensors. Short-distance expansions of two-, three-, and four-gluon condensates are presented up to dimension-8 local operators. We propose a method for calculating the Wilson coefficients based on the presented expansions and the Feynman diagram technique in the background field approach. The method is demonstrated using the glueball current correlators as examples. Methodological aspects of the background field approach are discussed in relation to glueball studies within QCD sum rules. We confirm the re…
By duality approach, we study condensate mass of QCD vacuum via dilaton wall background in presence of parameter $c$ which represents the gluon condensation in holographic set up. First from Wilson line calculation we find $m^2_0$ (condensate parameter in mixed nonlocal condensation) whose behavior mimics that of QCD. The value of $m^2_0$ that we find by this approach, is in agreement with QCD data. In the second step we consider produced mass m via Schwinger effect mechanism in presence of parameter $c$. We show that generally gluon condensation contribute mass dominantly and produced mass vi…
We study the dynamics of inhomogeneous scalar and pseudoscalar chiral order parameters within the framework of the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau equations. We utilize a nonlocal chiral quark model to obtain the phase diagram of the model as function of temperature and baryon chemical potential and study the formation of metastable spatial domains of matter where the order parameters acquire a spatial modulation in the course their dynamical evolution. We found that, before reaching the expected equilibrium homogeneous state, both scalar and pseudoscalar chiral condensates go through long-live…
The operator-product expansion(OPE) could be employed to obtain the lowest-order, nonlocal quark scalar condensate component of gluon vacuum polarization. In particular, nonlocal quark scalar condensate can be calculated by solving Dyson-Schwinger Equation(DSE) of QCD. Then, field-theoretic aspects of the gluon vacuum polarization and nonperturbative gluon propagator will be considered in the Landau gauge of the Lorentz gauge fixing. The gluon propagator we obtained is finite in the infrared domain where the single gluon mass $m_g$ can be determined. Our results of the ratio $m_{g}/Λ_{QCD}$ th…
We discuss spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking and quark bilinear condensate in large $N_c$ QCD. It has been known that the existence of $η'$ meson is implied in large $N_c$ QCD as pointed out by Witten and Veneziano. First, we show that the existence of $η'$ and Ward-Takahashi identities imply the existence of the Nambu-Goldstone bosons from chiral symmetry breaking $SU(N_f)_L \times SU(N_f)_R \to SU(N_f)_V$. Second, we show that a QCD inequality implies a nonzero lower bound on the quark bilinear condensate.
The magnetic susceptibility of the QCD vacuum is analyzed in the framework of a nonlocal SU(3) Polyakov-Nambu-Jona-Lasinio model. Considering two different model parametrizations, we estimate the values of the $u$ and $s$-quark tensor coefficients and magnetic susceptibilities and then we extend the analysis to finite temperature systems. Our numerical results are compared to those obtained in other theoretical approaches and in lattice QCD calculations.
We construct the effective model based on QCD with gluon condensate. Under the assumption that the gluons are condensed with the sharp momentum peak in the momentum space, we formulate the effective field theory incorporating both the gluon condensate and the chiral condensate, then study the phase transition on temperature and chemical potential plane with respect to two condensates. We find that the condensates decrease with increasing temperature, which is reliable tendency on the condensate being consistent with the argument of the asymptotic behavior.
We compute the quark and gluon condensates in $QCD$ with $N$ colors and $N_f$ flavors based on the renormalization group equations and on the knowledge of a single scale $Λ_{QCD}$. For $N=3$ and $N_f=3$ our findings are in the good range for $0.2\leqΛ_{QCD}\leq 0.36$ and in excellent agreement with the results in the literature from sum rules for a value $Λ_{QCD}=0.28$.
