An explicit check of the AGT relation between the W_N-symmetry controlled conformal blocks and U(N) Nekrasov functions requires knowledge of the Shapovalov matrix and various triple correlators for W-algebra descendants. We collect simplest expressions of this type for N=3 and for the two lowest descendant levels, together with the detailed derivations, which can be now computerized and used in more general studies of conformal blocks and AGT relations at higher levels.
It is shown that the deformed Seiberg-Witten curve equation after Fourier transform is mapped into a differential equation for the AGT dual 2d CFT cnformal block containing an extra completely degenerate field. We carefully match parameters in two sides of duality thus providing not only a simple independent prove of the AGT correspondence in Nekrasov-Shatashvili limit, but also an extension of AGT to the case when a secondary field is included in the CFT conformal block. Implications of our results in the study of monodromy problems for a large class of $n$'th order Fuchsian differential equa…
We study five dimensional AGT correspondence by means of the q-deformed beta-ensemble technique. We provide a special basis of states in the q-deformed CFT Hilbert space consisting of generalized Macdonald polynomials, derive the loop equations for the beta-ensemble and obtain the factorization formulas for the corresponding matrix elements. We prove the spectral duality for Nekrasov functions and discuss its meaning for conformal blocks. We also clarify the relation between topological strings and q-Liouville vertex operators.
We compute the light asymptotic limit of $A_{n-1}$ Toda conformal blocks by using the AGT correspondence. We show that for certain class of CFT blocks the corresponding Nekrasov partition functions in this limit are simplified drastically being represented as a sum of a restricted class of Young diagrams. In the particular case of $A_{2}$ Toda we also compute the corresponding conformal blocks using conventional CFT techniques finding a perfect agreement with the results obtained from the Nekrasov partition functions.
We consider the long-standing problem of obtaining the 3-point functions of Toda CFT. Our main tools are topological strings and the AGT-W relation between gauge theories and 2D CFTs. In arXiv:1310.3841 we computed the partition function of 5D $T_N$ theories on $S^4 \times S^1$ and suggested that they should be interpreted as the three-point structure constants of q-deformed Toda. In this paper, we provide the exact AGT-W dictionary for this relation and rewrite the 5D $T_N$ partition function in a form that makes taking the 4D limit possible. Thus, we obtain a prescription for the computation…
We study the relation between the instanton expansion of the Seiberg-Witten prepotential for $D=4$, ${\cal N}=2$ $SU(2)$ SUSY gauge theory for $N_f=0$ and $1$ and the monstrous moonshine. By utilizing a newly developed simple method to obtain the SW prepotential, it is shown that the coefficients of the expansion of $q=e^{2πτ}$ in terms of $A^2=\frac{Λ^2}{16 a^2}$ ($N_f=0$) or $\frac{Λ^2}{16 \sqrt{2}a^2}$ ($N_f=1$) are all integer coefficient polynomials of the moonshine coefficients of the modular $j$-function. A relationship between the AGT $c = 25$ Liouville CFT and the $c = 24$ vertex oper…
In 2012 Gamayun, Iorgov, Lisovyy conjectured an explicit expression for the Painlevé VI $τ$~function in terms of the Liouville conformal blocks with central charge $c=1$. We prove that proposed expression satisfies Painlevé VI $τ$~function bilinear equations (and therefore prove the conjecture). The proof reduces to the proof of bilinear relations on conformal blocks. These relations were studied using the embedding of a direct sum of two Virasoro algebras into a sum of Majorana fermion and Super Virasoro algebra. In the framework of the AGT correspondence the bilinear equations on the conform…
We discuss the resummation procedure of the superpotential in 4d $\mathcal{N}=2$ SYM theory without matter from the point of view of 2d Liouville conformal field theory, utilizing the AGT correspondence. We identify contributions of different descendants of the intermediate state, defining a conformal block in CFT, to the superpotential and answer the question, which descendants are responsible for the appearance of the branch cuts in the superpotential.
We introduce a method for computing conformal blocks of operators in arbitrary Lorentz representations in any spacetime dimension, making it possible to apply bootstrap techniques to operators with spin. The key idea is to implement the "shadow formalism" of Ferrara, Gatto, Grillo, and Parisi in a setting where conformal invariance is manifest. Conformal blocks in $d$-dimensions can be expressed as integrals over the projective null-cone in the "embedding space" $\mathbb{R}^{d+1,1}$. Taking care with their analytic structure, these integrals can be evaluated in great generality, reducing the c…
